Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. Hello, my dog does like this; loves it in fact and gets all excited when I get it ready for her before going to work. It is sturdy, well made. The rubber underneath means it grips on a lino floor which is a really good design feature. I do think it's a little pricey – 10 would be reasonable in my view. However for me the problem is it's too easy for my dog. When I first got it, I filled it with treats and gave it to my dog before sitting down to read the instructions. I hadn't even reached the bit that said to' start off with only one hidden treat, and let your dog see it before covering it up' , before my dog had already uncovered and worked out every single hiding place. Took about a minute. Not really what I was intending when I bought it as a way for her to stay entertained when I go out to work. The kids had a blast playing Soggy Doggy. The parents were very hesitant with the “shaking”but it really does not make a mess. It is simple for the group of 5 years olds to pick up on and play. We love this toy. We bought the smaller one and our lab puppy tore the center piece out. So we bought the bigger one. We love that the treats dont fall out all at once. He really has to work to get them out. When hes finished he brings it to us to be refilled. You do have to use a smaller food bits. The toy does have some deep cuts from his chewing on the center part, but its still all intact. We dont leave him alone with it bc we are afraid he might swallow a piece, but it is great for semi-supervised play. Its one of his favorites and will be replace if ever destroyed or lost. These things are great except for the fact that Ferrets are chewers with serious teeth and a digestive system that has risks of blockages. My baby LOVES these (I have tried different sizes). It is soft enough to chew, but not easy to tear at first. The main problem is the little nipple at the top, with a little work it will come right off and the rubber doesn't hold up well to sanding of the slice of a utility knife, so can't really remove this part. DON'T let them play with this without supervision and a daily inspection before and after play – unless you want that trip to the vet due to a blockage. Love the BABIES, but safety first!!John

Had to write as this toy has been a life changer for our active terrier who is nearly blind and has severe allergies. Most chew toys are a problem for her allergies and most plush/retrieve toys she cannot find or hear. This fill-and-freeze popsicle gives her the special surprise of an icy filling but she's satisfied with it just as well unfilled. It's made of a furniture-friendly rubber material and she can hear where it bumps and lands as she chases it around the room or when we toss it to her.
