Wind Up Dog Toy For Sale (2024 Update)

Took the puppy out and inserted the batteries. Put it on the floor and it started barking, walking wagging its tail. My long haired male chihuahua thinks it a real puppy. Licking it all over. We recently lost our beloved female long haired chihuahua ( of 16 years ) that our male loved. This little pup is helping him cope. Didnt buy it for that purpose. Just worked out that the pup came after we lost our beloved little female. Will help our male until we are ready to bring s new chihuahua puppy into our lifedolly101cathy

I have 2 big dogs and I walk them everyday. My little one always wants to help but sometimes they are a bit hard to handle. Now with her walk along pet puppy and leash she can walk her dog with me. I love how you can add more that one dog on the leash and we will be getting a 2nd one to add to the dog she has. I love how u push the leash and the dog bounces up and down as it walks and makes the cutest dog noises. Super cute!Amandas81

I have one similar as you can see in the photo. It is bigger n designed a bit different however…my girl uses so much force that I have to hold it with my feet or it will go flying. It is so worth it since she enjoys playing games so much! With this one though, I swear I going to have to get goggles…lolbee

It is very very cute. Wonderful music, cute walking and barking. Adorable rubbery fur jiggles as it walks along. Very charming! Had to read instructions to find "on" button on top of its head plus turn switch to on next to battery compartment.Billie

My daughter is really enjoying this toy! The Walking and barking make it interactive. Great quality and durable. The package includes the pet, leash (2 pieces), handle, connector, and instructions. This ball came and looked like a plastic hard ball from the dollar store. Very disappointed. It's not a dog toy material. Our dog roughed up and chewed the outside in 15 minutes. Terrible hard plastic looks like junk. Hardly rolls, and our dog, who loves toys hardly even paid attention to the $49??? ****** thing. Save your money. False advertising, and I'd like a refund, but looks like they lock you out of one with all the restrictions on their refund policy. If you still want to order, READ THE REFUND POLICY FIRST. I bought this toy for my little french bull dogs first birthday. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. This product seemed to be perfect. I ordered it. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. Afterall $120 would get me alot of balls that would last longerSean H.

This ball was amazing at first. First day I used it my frenchie was obsessed however 10 mins in, I notice a piece was already broken off. Customer support was super nice and sent me a new shell with no problem, however when it arrived and I went to use it again, the shell wouldn’t close fully so it wouldn’t work. Like it was always lose fitting and after 10 seconds of playing, the shell was fully open. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. I hope you all have better luck as if it worked for me, it would be my favorite you ever. Thank you!Gab

We received our NEW FURREAL FRIENDS®: Get Up & Go-Go, My Walkin' Pup™ free from Hasbro, thank you Hasbro! This puppy has been my daughter's new best friend since she saw the box. She has wanted a puppy, but due to her allergies we have not gotten her a real one, so this was a great treat for her! The first thing she did was name her puppy "sparkle." This toy takes four C batteries, which for this promotion came with. The quality of the puppy is great. A very solid toy. Also, pretty realistic for a toy puppy. The fur is super soft and great for cuddling with a young girl. The puppy comes with a collar and a leash (which is non-removable), this is the device for walking with the puppy. On the end of the leash there is the handle with the button for walking the puppy. You push the button and the puppy walks/barks/talks (of course in puppy language). On the top of the puppy's head there is a bow, which if it is tapped the puppy sits down. The instructions said that the puppy responds to voice commands, although not super clear with what commands it responds to. This puppy came with an optional application which can be downloaded to your phone or tablet. The application is free. This really optimizes the interaction that the child can have with the puppy. The puppy just has to sit close to the phone/tablet and they connect via blue tooth. There are numerous games that you can play with the puppy with the application and the puppy with interact according to what is being done. Very cute and intuitive application. It does make a bit of an annoying sound of the "talking" between the puppy and application. This puppy has played with the girls for hours. I would recommend this toy hands down, except the price point is a bit high ($60.00). Great toy for a preschooler if would love and animal and cannot have one.TinyRose

We received this product as a review from Hasbro. From the perspective of my 4yr old daughter this was a hit. This toy has gotten more teeth brushed and tea times that any of her other toys. Taking it out of the box and getting it ready was a breeze. She quickly caught on on how the buttons on the leash worked to control it. For the first few weeks I just let her play with just the toy and then showed her the Iphone app for this toy. It was like getting a new toy all over again. Initially she thought it was just a game and did not understand that it interacts with the actual dog. She still has not caught on to it yet but the app has kept her entertained. Her parents get a kick out of how when you wash the dog in the app the FURREAL Dog starts getting upset and makes noises to show it This toy also moves around by rollers, it does not walk. Movement on rough terrain was a bit unsteady. The noise leve from this toy is acceptable. It is not loud or overpowering. It has been a few weeks and she is still playing with it and having tea parties with it. So in her eyes she still loves it. In her parents eyes we are hoping that the novelty of this does not wear off any time soon.CaptK13

NOTE: I received this product free from Bzzagent to honestly review. Though I might not have sought out such a toy on my own, I was excited to see how my four year old child would interact with it, and she was overjoyed at its arrival. The toy is even cuter in person, and well made. The fur is thick and soft, so the puppy is cuddly, her eyes appear almost bright and "shiny" and the mouth and nose look quite realistic, all things considered. The leash walking is fun and she seemed to respond quite well to the leash control button and moved fine on tile and carpet. The tail wag is very much like a real dog's, as are the head tilt and the playful open mouth expression. Sometimes the pup will also spontaneously charge forward on its own. My little one discovered that one cool thing the pup can do is be "stood up" on her back legs and then flip back down to the ground on her front paws. It would be nice if the toy could react to simple voice commands or to hugs, or run purposefully towards objects placed in front of it. However, as she is, there is plenty of room for creative play, such as running doggy daycare or a training obstacle course for pups (which is what my child and her friends have done, among other things). The variety of sounds she makes (from whimpering to dog singing to loud belches) is entertaining but random. One issue I have is with sound-based interaction. The toy is supposed to react to hand clapping by moving forward, but this seems to be a bit spotty and can be a little disappointing for smaller children when it doesn't work. Also, it's advertised as being compatible with a downloadable interactive app. My issue with the app is that only about 50% of the time does the dog respond to it in any way indicating that they're really interacting– it's supposed to make sounds in response to activities, such as getting a bath or being fed, but the dog just continues making random, unrelated noises. I'm aware that the phone must be placed close to the dog (and loud enough) for it to respond, but this has been very hit and miss. This could be a phone issue, I suppose, but there is nothing wrong with my phone or its volume. My daughter still enjoys playing with the app sometimes with her puppy next to her, and apps are definitely not a top priority in my book for a toy given to (in this case) a preschooler, but if I were paying good money for this toy, I would not have been very impressed with this function. Two months out, the toy has definitely not been abandoned in our household. The toy has seen daily use and still looks brand new. Battery life is great. This seems to be a very durable, quality-made product. Given a few limitations, I don't think that I would pay the current "going rate" for this toy (maybe the price will drop over time?), but it has been an enjoyable companion, and my little one certainly likes her.bluepoodles

Such a cute little wind up toy for the bathtub. This toy reminds me of a bathtub toy I had as a kid it was a dog and it would splash and swim all over. It's great getting the chance to make memories with my little one with a toy that brought so much happiness to myself as a child.Slc17

Great for bath time. Floats without any issues. Wind up and go. Great for kids who do not want to be in the bath a long time. I just leave it standing up on the tub wall to dry and be ready for next time. Makes bath time fun again.BusyMom2002

Does not work in water at all. the windup mechanism is quite weak. it works when out of the water but often gets stuck. in the water, there is zero torque for the you to move at all. it's a shame because it is a nice bath toy in principle.NN

I'm a product of growing up in the 80s when wind up toys were abundant! I absolutely love this little wind up doggie from toy story. The slinky part is for looks, the body is all plastic except the ears, which are a floppy fabric. Just wind it up, and watch it walk on surfaces. It's handheld and is just really really cute!ohosford

I received this Disney and Pixar Toy Story Slinky Dog pull toy as a review promotion. The box says 18 months and older but my one year old grandson plays with it and there's been no problems. He comes with a not so long cord to pull him along and has little wheels on the bottom of his feet so he will roll, and he also has an actual slinky as his belly. His tail reminds me of the door stopper at my great grandparents house when I was a little kid, the little spring on the wall. I would sit forever flicking that spring back and forth, listening to the stupid sound it made lol. U fortunately his tail does not make that noise lol. It has not been a big hit with the one year old, but the two three year old grandbabies love playing with it too, heck the 10 year old even joined it for some of the fun pulling slinky dog around. I love the Slinky – Retro Slinky Dog(the Original Walking Spring Toy). When i was a small child i had one of these amazing Slinky Dogs and absolutely loved it and i got hours of fun from so i figured my 4 year old son would also and was correct. He loved it and was so excited when he seen the picture on the outside of the box. Within the first day it became is favorite toy. He walks it around with him for hours and talks to it while playing pretend. Its great for helping with kids imaginations because it walks with them like a normal dog but also just looks like the dog that would really talk and laugh with you if he could. I highly recommend this product it really does walk with and is absolutely the best retro toy!Meagan91
