Wiez Dog Fence Wireless & Training Collar For Sale (2024 Update)

Money well spent, this is so worth it!! We have two dogs but we only bought this wireless dog fence with 1 collar to try it out to see how it works. We put it on our boxer to try it out because he is older than our German Shepherd. Long story short this not only contained The Boxer but it also trained Mimi (GS) where she is not allowed to leave.J.V

We have a new dog, and she loves to explore. We purchased this because my son uses it for his dog. Nala has a nice area to roam now and we don’t have to worry about her trying to chase our neighborhood deer through the woods.K.K

I found it worked good. It had a much larger range than I expected. So it took me a bit in lowering the distance my dogs could go. I am 100 ft off the road. And I finally had it to 50 percent. Which kept him far enough from the road. I was impressed. 1 dog systemmdre7733

One day is all it took for my escape artist to stay in the yard. We now know that our fur-babies are safe in thier own area, Sure beats running home several times a day to round them up. Very easy to install, took us about 4 hours from start to finish. We did not bury the wire (one is a digger) but put it into PVC around the yard. It protects the wire from lawnmowers, weed eaters and digging. The wite PVC also serves as a reminder to the dogs that it is the line in the sand to not cross. It was easy to put the wire around a herb garden to keep themy from jumping on it, My big guy will bolt to the corner of the yard but hits the brakes hard within five feet of the line. I set up the white flags around the yard so they will know where to stop. The directions were easy to understand and online had pictures to give us ideas and how tho set off areas. I would recommend the stubborn big dog to anyone who needs to contain their babies.jamieladie

I have a pup that is a large breed, he looks like I been feeding him steak and potatoes cause he's so dang big. He is ALL puppy though. Chews on everything loves running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Been trying to train him to chill with me, yeah, right. He wants to play. And because he wants to play, he wants to run every stinkin where. Decided, for my sanity as well as his safety, I'd get this thing. Put the flags out, set it on a low static charge, and it didn't take long before he figured it out. You DO have to WORK a dog with this. It's not just a plug it up and watch their hair shoot up when they get popped. Walked him around the perimeter for 7 days, he sees and sniffs the flags. After that, I let him run around, and he got popped maybe 3 times, and figured it out. Now he's pretty dang happy, and I can let him rip around with zoomies while I work in the yard. I have a 2 yr old LARGE French Mastiff that weighs 180ish! I bought with the (red in color) “stubborn” collar. We previously installed a wired underground fence. (Which I have to mention took 2 FULL DAYS TO INSTALL AND READY TO USE!!) My Bo would realize he was close to the boundary, take a step or two back then take a run right through it, with no second thought!!! We watched him do this several times. I guess he was thinking, well this is going to hurt but only for a few short seconds. Idk?? But it did NOT phase him one bit! I had talked to 4 or 5 people that had this system, so reluctantly I decided to give it a try. I thought to myself well if it doesn’t work I will simply return it, no harm no foul. My boyfriend had it installed and collar on Bo in 30 mins flat. We walked ole hard-headed Bo around maybe 4 times to show him the boundaries. Once he heard the beeping, he kept walking then he felt the shock 1 time and that must have been enough because he never ventured close again! It has been about 2 months of use and I would give it 100 STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION! We live in a subdivision where houses are fairly close. I was ultimately worried that the zone would lead into the neighboring yard. (which was the #1 thing we are trying to prevent) And although it may, Bo doesn’t even attempt to go that far. I believe he now understands to stay in his own yard! Living in a subdivision, many people take walks and Bo just sits and watches them now!! Matter of fact, just to see, we have sent him outside WITHOUT the collar and ironically enough HE STAYS IN OUR YARD!! The ONLY complaint I have is the small clear piece on the collar broke off the first time I went to adjust the strength of the shock. So far it hasn’t effected anything so fingers crossed on that! Just an FYI, we set ours on a level 3 to begin with and my boyfriend was ready to give up, so I told him to have some patience and we just kept adjusting the level on the collar and we ended up discovering for Bo he needed to be set on a #6. Again, I repeat he weighs 180 lbs, and the Mastiff bread is KNOWN for their stubbornness. I would suggest starting at the lowest level for a smaller dog PLEASE! Only took 2-3 sessions and 2 mild static corrections to have my frisky Doberman trained! She loves to bolt into the woods at the first sign of this stray cat and nothing has been able to prevent it until now. I even let her out without the collar and she stays in the designated area. I heard that the battery dies quickly on the collar so when she is not outside, I take the battery out of the collar to lengthen the battery life. It's been 6 months and still on the original battery. If you live in a condo/townhouse, you may have to get creative with the base placement since the radius is a circle.dgoleno

This system of pet containment is one of the best things we've purchased and have been using for years. We have 2 transmitters at home and 2 more at a vacation cottage. 2 allows for a larger area for dogs by over lapping fields of coverage. We currently rent our home so putting up fencing is not an option for us. This wireless fence allows us to let our dog enjoy some perceived freedom. The system works very well and keeps our pup confined to our yard. Batteries in the collar have to be changed on a regular basis. If not, you may find yourself chasing down an overjoyed dog who intentionally runs through every puddle in your neighborhood. If anyone has ever owned a husky or even know about the breed they are escape artist. My yard I thought was husky proof…apparently not. We used chicken wire around the fence so she couldn’t climb the fence, we put chicken wire in the ground so if she dug she’d hit that and we had done other things to the yard. Anyway long story short one day her and my sister dog got out of the yard and this was one of our last resorts. At first I was really frustrated with the product and upset that my husky would run out of the barrier and not care about the shock. I spent time training her where she was allowed to go and where she wasn’t. My sisters dog was easy to train, she got shocked once and knew not to go past It. FINALLY after months my husky stays where she’s supposed to and doesn’t go outside of It. They dogs still have 80% of the yard to run and play in. I have a pretty big back yard. Depending on your dog is might be the best option for you to keep your pet safe inside your yard. I still do not trust the fence 100% just because I know how my dog is.jacqueline.t

I've loved the fence since we got in it April but over the last couple weeks the collar and transmitter haven't seem to be communicating right. There's been no change to location and collar is always charged. Dog has been seen outside of normal boundary (which he doesn't breach). Upon bringing him back and checking the boundary again with him the collar on doesn't beep or give any indication the boundary has been breached. I've tried removing and walking the boundary holding it at dog level and it worked, put it back on dog bring him to the boundary and he walks right through with nothing. Try it again then all of a sudden it works. I don't have any idea what the heck is going on but it's confusing to my dog and it teaching him that sometimes he can breach the boundary with no consequences.Bburgess

I checked your product in a pet store yesterday and thought that the receivers for the collars were very large and clumsy. Do you make smaller receivers for small dogs. We bought this 2 years ago. We have 2 dogs. We just purchased our 4th collar. They just quit working about 18 months after purchase. The longest one of these collars has lasted for us is 20 months. Very frustrating. The collars are too expensive to be replaced any earlier than the recommended 3-5 years.kke2004

We tried it out, and my dog ran right through it. We tried what were supposed to be brand new batteries, sometimes it lights up,sometimes it doesnt. Stick to the kind that are rechargeable batteries, less headache! Dont know if it is the collar or the batteries now.that1970sgirl

Recently bought this product for my two dogs. I have a boxer and a jack russell. Both dogs learned within a few hours to listen for the beeps. My boxer loves it, because she can now roam from the backyard to the front yard. My jack russell however, is scared to move too much, so she’s still a work in progress, but I’m sure she will eventually work through it. The only negative I have about this product is the collar is pretty big and bulky for my jack russell. It’s a good size for my boxer, but I’ve noticed my jack russell has a hard time getting comfortable when laying down trying to nap.mtmontoya

I bought this for my Great Pyrenees, I have had sooo many issues with the collars. Either not holding the charge, turning off randomly or the shocking feature just not working. My dog will never learn to stay around and the boundary without the collar because it’s in their nature as a breed, so without it he would be running all around. I still check on him often because I do not totally trust the system to not fail. I try to have it on the largest setting for him to have ample space- but the hills of my yard, and the metal roof mess with it constantly. Some days he has a nice size area, other days he walks right past the house and gets beeped. It’s okay- I am hoping for our next house it won’t need to be used. With all the issues I’ve had with the collars- thankfully I was under my warranty so I got replacements, it’s not worth the price, and even though it’s working fine right now- it’s still not worth the price since it doesn’t give him the freedom I hoped for since the land and the roof seem to get in its way, per customer service.Martin16

This product works! It does shock my dog when he gets too far out of range, which is great. My only qualm so far is that the range on my system seems to fluctuate. I walked the perimeter a few times for the initial setup and placed flags down based on when I heard the beeping from the collar, but when my dog wears it, he can go another 10-20 yards before finally getting shocked, while I was getting shocked just outside where I placed the flags. Also, the beeping sound on my collar is probably loud enough for my dog to hear while he’s wearing it, but it is too quiet for me to hear while we are walking in the dried leaves with the wind blowing through the trees, and this has made training very difficult. It would be really helpful if the system came with a remote option so that I could have the collar beep or shock exactly when/where I want it to (e.g., when he’s getting very close to the flags and if he continues to walk beyond them) I know this would seem to defeat the purpose of training to the system, but I do think that training would go a lot faster bc I’d have more control in getting him to understand that when the collar beeps, he just needs to pull in a little closer to home. The system just doesn’t cause the collar to start beeping at a consistent radius, and since I can’t hear the beeping, I’m not giving him the immediate feedback he needs in order to understand how to react to that beep. I know this review definitely reads like it is a negative experience, but I will say that when my dog does get shocked, he doesn’t run away, so it works in that regard.Call

My back yard is partially fenced in. We got a new puppy auggie back in February, we named him Tatoe cuz he just looked like a little potato and I like potatoes haha. He has high energy and hates being on a leash of any sort. We tried one of those 30' lines so he could stay outside while we're at work but he hated it, yelped all day, and would get tangled up, poor little guy. My neighbor had complained about his yelping. We've had such a problem with him staying in the yard. He'd dart out the back door and wonder the neighborhood. It was so exhausting chasing him down every time. We contemplated for months to put up a fence. That was going to cost us around $1500 and that was just for the one side of the yard with the treeline "fence." I noticed one day when I was chasing him down that a neighbor's dog was sitting in the front yard watching and not attacking him (that was a big dog). I thought it was odd the dog wasn't running off the property after Tatoe. I saw the collar and it clicked… "I bet that is one of those invisible fences or something." I saw this one and was so excited! We were going to order it online but then I saw it at our local pet store. I love buying local and having it in hand right then. It was so easy to figure out and set up. The instructions said it'd take about a week or so to train the average dog. I set the boundary to 50', set the collar on 3, and put it on Tatoe that night. He takes off outside and hits the boundary. It starts beeping and then I hear him yelping. I see him running to me from the neighbor's back yard. That's seriously all it took. When I went out with him the next day he was very cautious when walking around the yard. At the very first beep he immediately flipped around and came back. I am amazed at how great this is! I have been using the premiere Pet for quite some time and it is truly an amazing quick fast action Wireless fence to help keep my three dogs in the yard without going over the boundaries. I love how it was very easy to install to use very easy instruction booklet love the circular boundary that covers up to about a half an acre, I love that the system itself is portable, this thing takes less than an hour to set up. My dogs were trained instantaneously from the first use. The flags and on the caller has a very low beeping sound and it really truly makes the dog not leave out of that boundaries and if the dog does then the beeping will continue to do it with the shocking until the dog comes back into its boundary area which is awesome. I have used it on all three of my dogs and they have learned they're lesson. The Durability, quality, value, and the ease of use are exceptional. It’s very easy to set up, use, and it works great. This package comes with everything you need to get started. The instructions on how to setup and use the transmitter, collar, and how to train your pet are very straightforward and easy to understand. The Transmitter needs to be set up indoors, 2 feet above the ground, and not close to any metal objects. Once you determine a good location that fits the criteria you can plug it in and test it, it says it’s possible that it may have to be moved multiple times to ensure you’ve got a good location but I didn’t have any issues picking a spot. It comes with a power adapter that you plug into the wall. Then you flip the power switch on, and it’s ready to go. You can select the boundary area that works best for you by a dial on the front of the unit. This fence allows you to go up to 90 feet, which is really nice, especially since you can take this fence on the go and use in different locations. Setting up the collar is easy. First you choose which contact points you need based on your pet’s hair length or thickness. You can easily swap out the contacts with a key that comes with the unit. The battery came pre-installed, so I did not need to add one in, but it’s also easy to add/remove. Next, you set up the static correction level. This is done by removing a small clear cover which allows access to a button, and then pressing the button to achieve different levels of correction. The blinking light allows you to see what level you’ve chosen. It’s very simple to choose which level you need and the blinking lights make it super convenient to tell. Then you add the cover back on. Next, you adjust your fence to the desired size. The unit comes with a test key making it very easy to determine the boundary. To test for the boundary lines, all you do is set the correction level to 2 or above, hold the test key on the ends of the contact points on the collar, and walk toward the boundary zones. There will be lights flashing and sound indicating that you are approaching the boundary. Then you determine where you want the boundary and adjust the dial accordingly. You can add flags into the ground where the edge of the boundary is so that you have a visual of the boundary guide. I did not run into any problems setting up my boundary and I love that this set comes with flags. Fitting the collar is very straightforward. Remove the battery, place the collar on so that the logo is facing out, and then center the contact points underneath the neck touching the skin, with a 1 fingers width of space between the contact points and the neck. The collar is easily adjustable and can be cut once you get the length you need. The clip on the collar makes it very easy to remove the collar when it’s not being used, which is really nice. Finally, the battery can be replaced in the pet collar, and the training can begin. The instructions detail what to do every day for 9-30 days, it will of course be dependent upon each pet. I found the training guide to be particularly helpful on how fast to move with my pet. I’ve been using this for over a week and we are progressing nicely. This Premier fence is great for helping teach dogs boundaries. This system is for dogs at least 8 pounds AND 6 months. The setup took us about an hour and a half,however when we were testing certain areas around the house lost the signal This was due to our aluminum siding.We adjusted the perimeter so we had no interference. The kit comes with everything you need to start training. We spent about two weeks training our pup to be sure she understood what it was all about the flags are a good visual for her to know she is getting close to the danger zone LOL! She noticed the beep and ignored it once she felt static she knew that was as far as she was going. We have not had to raise the static level above 2 and my husband and I both shocked each other with it and it's more of a startle than shock so I don't worry that it is hurting our pup. Ok, maybe my dogs do if they sneak out of range setting 6 on the collar will make your dog come off the ground like a bass breaking water setting 4 is definitely enough. I have never had a problem. Even though I had marked & walked the ½ acre perimeter with Jaxn, our dog, several years ago … I don't understand why he will no longer go under the fence nor will he step a foot outside the raised garage door but I am fine with it! His 1st collar & unit did not stop him but this Rechargeable Collar with the 1st unit does! It will pay for itself in saved batteries during the 1st year. I bought this collar about a month ago to go with the base that my husband had. I debated between this one and the battery collar. I chose this one for the charging convenience and the fact that his dog never broke the boundary, despite her testing it regularly and being a bit more of an aggressive dog. I knew it would be a good collar. Recharging only takes a few hours. That is a plus, as I can charge in the evening, quickly, and get the collar back on him. He’s very well trained to the tones and turns right around and backs off as soon as he hears it. I expect to get even longer life from the collar because of that. I’m very happy that he is contained and will not be wandering where he shouldn’t!Susie19
