That being said, I wouldn't recommend this for dogs that chew through everything. I will say that the stiffness of the carabiner might be a little much, and will need some time before it opens/closes a little more easily – I ended up returning one style for another and found that the second leash had a carabiner that was much easier to open. I really enjoy that there's another hook(?) at the handle of the leash, and keeps added accessories more steady instead of it moving all over the place on the handle. So I absolutely love this collar – it has been great for my dog in that is doesn't rub or cause any issues for him. However, the sizing is a bit tough for me. I originally bought the collar in an XL and exchanged it for a L, but between the last two holes (making it the largest possible) I wish there was one more in the middle because the last hole is too loose on him when we are walking, but then the second to last is too tight when he is laying down/relaxed. Other than that, this is absolutely perfect!
The first thing I noticed when I unboxed this collar was how soft and supple the material is—perfect for snuggling and probably very comfortable for my pup! It seems well-made and is definitely well-designed, love the little touch of the "W" mark on the end. The color is CRAZY bright, almost dayglo, and looks great on my brown brindle pittie, it would really stand out on a black dog too. My single caveat with this collar is that it is too soft and flexible to restrain my dog securely, so we just use it to hold his ID tags (we always use a harness on walks anyway). I'd definitely recommend the collar and will probably end up buying some other colors to accessorize!Sam S.
Anyone that have dogs know that they chew on anything. But this Wild One collar is definitely not designed for dogs. Within 2 days, my dog has chewed it up. My other nylon collars were also chewed by my dog but it usually takes months for it to show the severity of damage. The material also feels cheap. Like generic iPhone cases you can find anywhere. Very subpar. Their customer support was also somewhat useless. Basically they say this is part of wear and tear. I understand wear and tear but 2 days? For the original price they are charging, I would had expected a few weeks. They even offered 20% off a new item. Another chew toy? LOL. I didn’t want a replacement. Just a better response. I ordered two size “small” collars to replace 6 year old llbean collars for our miniature dachshunds. I like the added layer of comfort of having names/phone number on them. I bought this 3 months ago under the impression it was pretty durable and made for the outdoors since we’re pretty active hikers. The collar itself has held up fine but the paint on the metal buckle has turned my dog’s fur grey. Granted my dog has white fur normally so it’s probably more noticeable on her and it might not have a similar effect on dogs with darker fur. As durable as it may be, it’s useless to me because I’m not giving my dog a bath everyday to rinse the collar’s paint off her.Wednesdays mom
This is a cute collar! The colors are just muted enough and look great on my caramel colored golden retriever. I will be interested to see how it weathers… we do a lot of swimming, hiking, outdoor activities and while I think the metal clip will hold up great I’m worried about the leather detailing at the leash ring. The strip itself is pretty thin… it’s stitched on well though so only time will tell. Overall a nice collar for the price!Annie F
I ordered the medium because large wasn't available. I worried it might be too small. My dog is a 75 pound German shepherd mix. I loosened it, and it fit her great! The material feels real sturdy while remaining flexible and soft. The buckle seems real sturdy and it is super easy to clip and unclip. The color was spot on to the picture. The only thing it needs (at least for my girl, Jo) is a slide on bow to girl it up. She has worn it several days now and it has remained on and comfortable throughout playing, sleeping, and running around the park.Sandy

I rescued a 70 lb lab who is leash-reactive to other dogs. This presented a huge issue as we live in a very dog-friendly complex and we would come across numerous dogs anytime we went out. After he pulled me down 3 times (injuring my wrist and ribcage) I decided to give this a try. I had no idea if I needed a 1 or 1.5 inch collar but decided to err on the side of the wider one. We have only used it for 2 days and it has already made a huge difference. It offers so much control that it is easy much easier to get him to move away from the other dogs and I am able to keep him under control so that I am not worried he will knock me over. I've been looking for a collar that can handle my super strong dog for months. I ordered a collar from Amazon and he literally snapped the cheap metal where his leash was hooked. It took me forever to find a collar that looked like it might be strong enough for him. This one seems perfect so far. I love how weight-less this leash feels! The material doesn't feel too delicate or that it would unravel anytime soon. Great for outdoor travels when you are already carrying so much. That being said, I wouldn't recommend this for dogs that chew through everything. I will say that the stiffness of the carabiner might be a little much, and will need some time before it opens/closes a little more easily – I ended up returning one style for another and found that the second leash had a carabiner that was much easier to open. I really enjoy that there's another hook(?) at the handle of the leash, and keeps added accessories more steady instead of it moving all over the place on the handle. This lease is great. Jasper loves it so much that he wants to eat it the moment he gets clipped to it (he doesn’t do this with any other leash). I love the clip, the leash itself is surprisingly light, and the pattern is so cute! The extra metal ring at the top is actually quite useful. this collar works although I may need to find a bigger one in the near future since I didn't believe my labs neck couldn't get much bigger, but it is. The only real problem and the reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is the company misspelled my dogs name. His name is Gunnar. I checked that I spelled it correctly several times so it wouldn't be Gunner. Well, I got Gunner. Not worth sending back, but if people can't follow these simple instructions, I may go somewhere else for the next one.
