This product works for my dog. You're gonna have to experiment a little with this product. It won't be fully effective probably for 8 weeks. With the keppra alone, he eased having seizures once/ week. Been on the product for eight weeks now and no seizures for 35 days. Your dog probably will hv to alleviate to this product. Best to start slow and build up yr pet's tolerance. I now give him 7 to eight scoops per day but for my dog, this product works. I've even missed doses of keppra by accident three or 4 times. Highly recommend.sammygowhammy

Our A.J. started having seizures out of the blue. He's been a part of our family since 6 weeks old( now 4 years old) and NEVER had a seizure before. When he started having them, my husband took him to the vet and he ruled something was wrong with his liver. The vet told us he would need to be on a prescribed seizure medication for the rest of his life and if we missed a day, he would/could die. I refused to let that happen and so my research began. I wanted something natural instead of medication, that's when this product came across my feed. I read the reviews first, and everyone pretty much said the same thing….. that the product is/was AMAZING!!! They weren't lying. Our sweet A.J. has not had another seizure since he's been given this antidote. I love it so much, I put it on auto-ship. Try it if your fur-baby is having seizures or epilepsy, you won't be disappointed!!!!alicia perryman
I consider myself and my two dogs blessed with having found this company.! I have two German Shepherd‘s respectively six and seven years old. The one that really needs help is the seven-year-old, names Shadow He started having seizures about a year and a half ago which were brought about by a reaction to a medication he’ was taking. No one ever wants to find out that their dog is going to have seizures! It’s just so hard on ,especially the dog. And we all do everything we can to find a way to make it better. Having had a pet sitting service for over 20 years and worked for two veterinary groups I had taken care of dogs with seizures before .I knew what the prognosis would be once I went to the vet and I was right. Lifetime phenobarbital and possibly adding on another heavy drug to it which would make my dog like a walking zombie instead of his beautiful playful self. I set about reading a lot of testimonials from people and researching other ways to take care of seizures more naturally and came across this wonderful company that offered so many Natural alternatives the testimonials made me believe that it was worth a try. I put shadow on the CBD oil per their instructions and added the herbal seizure support. . Within a few weeks or so I started to see changes and I’m happy to report that Shadow has really reduced his seizures! iAt this point we only get one seizure every few months. He was not having them every day but I am so happy that he’s improved so much! I know that there is a lot of buzz about CBD oil but not all CBD oil‘s are created equal, I am happy to say that this one is very pure and is making a difference! Part of the seizure behavior is a syndrome called fly catching where a dog constantly snaps in the air at imaginary flies Even though the seizures stopped this was also another aspect of the seizure and he was doing this constantly, several time s a day and night . But I am happy to report that now he is barely having those episodes as well, We’ve got it down to just a couple of short episodes a day at one time instead of all day and into the night. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have these remedies. ! I would be so sad to see my dog. That way! He’ is active ,and thriving ! Thank you so much Prana Pets for giving us a choice for a healthy alternative !Adele S.
My female cat has been having seizures her whole life. Tests at the vet were inconclusive. We determined that daily seizure meds were no suitable for her. I researched for “natural “ solutions for our situation. I started her on the seizure control two months ago. Thankfully no seizures and she is tolerating the medication!!!!!!Saundra D.
3. Pet Essences Seizures
Product Details:
Dog seizure medication at the time of a seizure, use pet essences emergency rescue to help the animal recover. then use pet essences seizures to help ease the emotional stress associated with seizures. use it daily and continue with other programs prescribed by your veterinarian. pets are very responsive to the energetic healing properties of flower essences. the energetic bouquets from pet essences are both dynamic and gentle in their transformational abilities. by using the appropriate flower essences to balance the emotional attitudes of your dog or cat, subtle changes occur that bring renewed energy forward and short circuit the path to illness. pets have emotions, attitudes and personalities just like humans. to care for an animal, it is helpful to observe the animal and learn how to distinguish between normal regular behavior and behavior that is unusual and out of balance. pets often reflect the emotions of the people close to them and the environment in which they live. emotions such as fear or anxiety or worry or depression can lead to disease because they deplete the physical body of its natural vitality, thereby compromising the immune system's ability to function properly. by using the appropriate flower essences to balance emotional attitudes, subtle changes occur that bring renewed energy forward and short circuit the path to illness. help your dog feel better today with pet essences seizures.

I gave these drops to my dog Chewy with high hopes it would work. After trying vet medication that didn't work. I was so hopeful this would work, but sadly it didn't. I did read the reviews of other people and it worked for them. But unfortunately it didn't work for my baby. I'm sadly disappointed but still looking for other options since the meds the vet prescribed 1 don't work and 2 they affect her personality. Please join my Facebook group: Furbabies with seizures.Yvette S.
This kitten on the deck is a feral cat. She was dumped on a rural road along with several littermates. Recently she began to have seizures, which appeared more often & with more intensity. We used the Seizure drops as advised, and she has virtually stopped having seizures at all! We have to dose her when we see her, so it is not on a regular basis, but we have not seen even ONE episode since she started the Seizure product. THANK YOU!Jen
I have been using this for my 7 year old cat that has seizures regularly and unfortunately, they haven't subsided. Vet bloodwork and tests came back normal, so I thought I'd try this before putting her on lethargic meds. She still sporadically has seizures on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. I've been using for 2-3 months now. On to the next…Liz

This is part of Watson's regular epilepsy treatment regime. VetRx got it to us quickly when other providers were out of stock. It's technically a chewable, but I have to give it to Watson like other meds, wrapped in meat or cheese… He eats around it even if I put it in his kibble. 🙂MARYBETH

When we adopted our sweet dog, we were not informed she had seizures. What a terrifying experience! After reviewing our options, we decided to go with Potassium Bromide. Once we adjusted the dosage, our dog has been doing absolutely amazing compared to when we first got her. This medication works extremely well, it doesn't have to be given exactly at the same time (although we do our best) and she doesn't put up a struggle when taking it. For anyone who has a dog with seizures, I would highly recommend asking your vet about this product. I honestly don't know what I'd do without it and I honestly don't think she'd still be with us without this amazing product. She went from 20 seizures in a year to 2-3 on this medication. Her seizures went from 2-3 months apart (she normally gets 2-3 seizures within a 24 hour period) to 7-10 months apart. We're hoping to get to a point where she no longer has seizures but his medication…I can't say enough good things about it.Heather C

My dog has epilepsy a seizure disorder and requires this medication to prevent his seizures. This is a lifetime problem for him and this is the best price I have found. I have been buying this medication for him for 5 years and this has been the cheapest so far. Hopefully they do not increase the cost in the future. I just placed my first order so I have not yet received it. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.Melissa S

Found exact same med for my dog as prescription from vets office but cheaper. Not happy, but my vets office called and charged me an annual fee to approve. This made my 1st prescription about the same costs, but will result in future savings – plus I didn't have to swing by vets office to pick up. Order to delivery, including vet approval was quick. KV Supply handled the approval process – I just placed order online and rec'd package (short of vets office dinging me).Thomas

I agree that my dog, a lab hates the flavor and was seeking out the pill and spitting it out until I tried baby food turkey and chicken in the little jars. I use a baby spoon and bury the pill in the meat. She gobbles it up and does even notice even the pill. We do it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. Now she runs to the spot where the pills are and waits for the treat. Give it a try, and, yes, Denamarin is making a difference in her blood work – a real God send.DixieGirl47
My 12 year old Shiba Inu had 850 liver enzymes. That's so bad and I was so stressed. She has been on this stuff for over 1 year and now her enzymes are about 420. I read some other reviews on how people are getting their dog to take the pill and I laughed because it's what I do also! I wrap a little thin slice of turkey or cheese on top and she takes it with no trouble.K9 love
Cocker has “dry eyes and prescribed steroids and cyclosporine twice daily each eye. Suspect his extremely elevated liver enzymes may be due to long term steroid use or could just be his age. Haven’t tested for Cushing’s but sonograms reveal no tumors on liver or pituitary glands. He was lethargic and never feeling well until his doctor advised trying the Denamarin. His Opthalmologist concurred it was a great idea. Haven’t yet tested his liver enzymes again to see if the numbers have improved (hasn’t been on them quite a full month) but I’ve reordered and will receive the pills monthly. Bottom line: he’s a lot more energetic, playing with his toys again, not sleeping all the time, just overall feeling so much better. He’s acting normal again—normal for an 11-plus year-old Cocker. Did a lot of research before giving him the Denamarin and felt they were safe, and most people had positive results using it. Only drawback would be that the pills for large dogs are really big. You’re supposed to administer 1 hr before or 2 hrs after a meal, which I do with a little piece of boiled chicken breast to hide it and help it go down, and it goes down without a problem. Can’t imagine any dog of any size being able to swallow a pill that size without an owner hiding it in a little chunk of something, cheese, pill pocket, treat. Anything to help it go down easier. And helps if they drink a little water. Can’t wait to have his liver enzymes tested again. I’m confident they will have improved. Side note: when one’s liver is not working properly, urine can have an odd and strong odor, which his did. Standing several feet away, I knew something wasn’t right. That too has resolved which makes me believe his liver is on the mend.Yvonne

10. Percorten-V 25 Mg/ml, 4ml Vial
Product Details:
Percorten-v is used to treat addison's disease (adrenocortical insufficiency) in dogs and cats. addison's disease in dogs is also known as hypoadrenocorticism. it is a disease that results from the reduction in steroid secretion by the adrenal gland. percorten-v is used as replacement therapy for the mineralocorticoid deficit in pets with addison's disease. mineralocorticoids are steroids that help balance the sodium, potassium, and other electrolyte levels in the body. percorten-v also prevents the life-threatening shock and build up of potentially toxic substances in the blood in animals with addison's disease. the most important effect of percorten-v is to increase the rate of absorption of sodium and water by the kidney. the increased absorption of water into the blood stream helps maintain blood pressure. another important effect of percorten-v is increased excretion of potassium by the kidney into the urine. it's used in dogs and off-label in cats.

I am happy with the life saving product. The product arrived surrounded by dry ice and it was freezing cold. The company insert says to keep FROM freezing so I was a little confused and uncertain if I should proceed but she needed her injection. I understand that maybe protecting from heat was the reason but I believe protection from freezing was what the manufacturer recommends. Thank you so much.LISA R

Reviews:
The product works great, however read this carefully to determine the quantity to order, the website is misleading. The manufacturer sells the product in 1 gram (small dog), 2 gram (medium dog), and 4 gram (large dog) sizes. Each package contains 3 packets to be given over 3 days. In order to get the correct amount for your dog's weight, you may need to order more than one package. According to the manufacturers instructions, you need to administer one gram of product (daily) for every ten pounds of animal weight. So, up to: 10 lbs = 1 gram; 20 lbs = 2 grams; 30 lbs = 3 grams; 40 lbs = 4 grams; 50 lbs = 5 grams; 60 lbs = 6 grams, etc. So, if your dog weighs 11 to 20 lbs, you need to order a 2 gram (medium dog) size and give him 1 packet per day for 3 days. But if your dog weighs 21-30 lbs, you need to order a 1 gram (small dog) AND a 2 gram (medium dog) package, and give your dog a packet from each size for 3 days. The product is a powder; many dogs will not eat it on dry food, so if you usually feed your dog dry food, mix it in with some wet dogfood and most dogs will chow it down. Petco could do a much better job with the product description.James999
A puppy was pretty much dropped in my lap several days ago, her belly was SO bloated as she hadn't had any vet care prior. Before even getting her home I pondered the wormers at our local Petco, selected this one. On day 3 the worms came out, though her poor bloated belly was reduced after the first day. Will use this again if worming can't wait for the vet. Due to her weight we did have to weigh out the medicine (half a gram ='s 1/4 teaspoon), and you must have an accurate weight on the dog and an accurate measuring device for it to be as effective as it can be without giving too much. I went with the Safeguard brand because I've been using the livestock version for other animals with success. She ate it fine with cooked chicken/broth mixed into her kibble.Mandy R
during the late fall to the end of winter I give these to my dogs to prevent worms. Then early spring I switch over to Heartguard. You get three packs. I use two packs per dog per month. Each pack 40 pounds. Total 80 pound dog. Sprinkle in with a quarter cup of warm broth, stir well. pour over their dry food and blend in. They won't notice and eat their food. Sneaky but, it works. Saves me tons of money. I have two large dogs and Heart-guard can be very expensive every month so I subsitute during the cool to cold months. You save and your dogs stay healthy from worms. Plus Most brand name worm meds don't prevent your dog from getting whipping worms. Safe-guard does.Mayberry1958

My cat Baby was diagnosed with Lymphoma seven months ago. Due to the medications he is on (chemo ect) he needs a vitamin B supplement. I am unable to inject my son with the subcutaneous shots so my vet offered Cobalequin as an alternative. This saves me from going to the vet each week to have his shot administered. Never have I had an issue getting Baby to take his Cobalequin. He has had his blood work done several times since switching from the shots to Cobalequin. The Internal Specialist we see has always been pleased with his levels! I couldn't be happier! He gets his vitamin B, I don't have to do shots, I trust the quality and the company, and he is cared for!hannah
Our dog has some health problems and we were recommended by the vet to give her Cobalequin to help with her digestion. We have seen such a great improvement since she has been on this medication, acting so much like her younger self! We started using it based on vet suggestion, but I encourage other pet owners to ask their vets about this product.Mardi

My dog had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics he was on after having a few teeth pulled. The itch was driving him crazy. This ointment seemed to take the itch away right after I put it on and he was able to relax. The only hard part was remembering to put it on every few hours. But I’m very pleased with how much this helped, and at a good price.MStephens
Sorry not a review but a question. Sounds like this works well but I have a horrible time keeping my Shepard from licking his wounds. Even when I cover them he trys to get the bandage off to get at them. It says this provides some pain relief, so I'm hoping that will discourage the licking. Does anyone know if this product is safe if the dog licks it? Has anyone's pet gotten sick?

I have a six-year-old golden retriever who has shown signs of anxiety and even depression throughout her lifetime. I assumed these things might get better as she got older. Unfortunately, they did not. In fact they had gotten worse. Over time, my beloved dog seemed so sad that I couldn't get her excited about much of anything. I tried Solliquin at the recommendation of my vet. And I am so pleased that I did. Autumn is happy and playful in a way that we have never noticed before. Ours is a fairly social household with many visitors. All of my friends have noticed a difference in Autumn. She used to greet with overexcitability and was very slow to calm. Now, she is friendly and happy and while she is excited upon greeting people, she calms quickly and is simply a pleasure to be around. I am enjoying her so much now and I truly believe she is a happier healthier dog. That's all I've ever wanted.Beth
We have been giving this to our rescued 9 year-old, 13 lb. cat since March of this year. He has a condition called Hyperesthesia, which causes terrible rippling of his back and according to the vet, feels like needles sticking into the skin. He was getting a monthly shots of Naloxone to keep it under control. Those visits were quite expensive and caused more stress to the cat. Due to an emergency that arose, we went to another wonderful vet. She noticed the rippling and suggested we might try Soloquin. We gave him 1 each day for 2 days and the rippling ceased completely. It has been amazing! They are soft and we break them up and mix them into his canned food. We were told to keep giving him 1/2 daily and he has been nearly symptom-free. We only notice slight rippling when he feels extremely stressed (fireworks on July 4th or small children visitors). We are so happy that circumstances caused us to find the new vet and this great solution to our cat's issue.Karen
I have used Solliquin ever since it first came out for my cat who is absolutely buckwild. He just takes it as needed, particularly when the landscapers come by because that is a high stress event for him. Now that we have a dog, I give it to her to help with anxiety at day care, the vet’s office, during thunderstorms, or any other time she may get a little stressed out. If your pet is just anxious all the time, it will probably work best if you give it daily as directed to keep it at a consistent level in their system and it can take a few weeks to build up to a therapeutic level in their system.Nancy

Newly adopted very stressed pup. I purchased three Thunder items, one of which was a bottle of the Calming Chews. Tried the Chews several times over the course of a week and a half in different situations. Sorry but found each time that there was no change in my dog's reactivity level – and on one occasion the Chew seemed to make him more stressed. We're now doing "pawsitive" behavior strategies to help his anxieties, which are many and severe.SKM70
So my 6mos. old pup is super hyper at night running around my apartment. He just have this excitement and energy at night when i come home from work. Also before going to sleep we still have to wrestle on my bed for a good hour or so. He just have that so much energy probably because im out all day. Tho he got tons of toys to keep him busy with and accompany him throughout the day when im at work. So i decided to buy and try this calming chews with hemp, and i say it worked 30mins or so after giving him 2 chews. Crushed it with my fingers and mixed it on his kibbles. Chew are pretty big so i have to crush it. Well it worked well. He didn't have that hyperactivity that he jets around the apartment back and forth. He was calm like a baby chewing his toy. I say give it a try. I'm sure it won't work for all but it wont hurt to try. if it doesn't work, then just return it. But for me it worked really well.AdMAG

I initially learned about NutriCalm by Rx Vitamins for dogs when I read a review from a local greyhound rescue organization who said they used it with great success. NutriCalm for dogs kept me AND my German Shepherd sane during summer monsoon storms. He would turn into a panting drooling mess that was completely UNDERfoot sometimes an hour ahead of the thunder. He was 95 lbs I dosed him at the maximum suggested through the monsoon season and it made ALL the difference in the world =without= drugging him into a stupor. He was fully alert and functioning unlike some of the conventional drug treatment. I also used it for long road trips to keep Buddy relaxed.

My 14-year-old cocker spaniel is slowing down and lately began showing signs of stiffness and soreness in his hips, sometimes limping. I asked my vet, and he recommended SAM-e. I had never heard of that, but learned it's used by a lot of people for both joint and liver conditions. I was happy to find a canine formula at Healthy Pets. Six weeks on, Hershey is running up and down stairs whenever he can get away with it, showing no signs of pain or stiffness, and no more limping. I'm very pleased!Marty W.

First time trying this out for my dog. So Far he enjoys eating these Vetriscience Clear & Bright Chews. He always looks for them before he actually eats his food. I'm glad he isn't picky. I like that it says it's good for the eyes. So far I see a slight difference in his eyes. My dog tends to have a lot of eye goo but probably because he has seasonal allergies. Like this product because I know as dogs grow old their vision seems to slow down. So this is a great away to help their vision.BrendaV
