I agree that my dog, a lab hates the flavor and was seeking out the pill and spitting it out until I tried baby food turkey and chicken in the little jars. I use a baby spoon and bury the pill in the meat. She gobbles it up and does even notice even the pill. We do it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. My 12 year old Shiba Inu had 850 liver enzymes. That's so bad and I was so stressed. She has been on this stuff for over 1 year and now her enzymes are about 420. Cocker has “dry eyes and prescribed steroids and cyclosporine twice daily each eye. Suspect his extremely elevated liver enzymes may be due to long term steroid use or could just be his age. Haven’t tested for Cushing’s but sonograms reveal no tumors on liver or pituitary glands. He was lethargic and never feeling well until his doctor advised trying the Denamarin. His Opthalmologist concurred it was a great idea. Haven’t yet tested his liver enzymes again to see if the numbers have improved (hasn’t been on them quite a full month) but I’ve reordered and will receive the pills monthly. Bottom line: he’s a lot more energetic, playing with his toys again, not sleeping all the time, just overall feeling so much better. He’s acting normal again—normal for an 11-plus year-old Cocker. Did a lot of research before giving him the Denamarin and felt they were safe, and most people had positive results using it. Only drawback would be that the pills for large dogs are really big. You’re supposed to administer 1 hr before or 2 hrs after a meal, which I do with a little piece of boiled chicken breast to hide it and help it go down, and it goes down without a problem. Can’t imagine any dog of any size being able to swallow a pill that size without an owner hiding it in a little chunk of something, cheese, pill pocket, treat. Anything to help it go down easier. And helps if they drink a little water. Can’t wait to have his liver enzymes tested again. I’m confident they will have improved. Side note: when one’s liver is not working properly, urine can have an odd and strong odor, which his did. Standing several feet away, I knew something wasn’t right. That too has resolved which makes me believe his liver is on the mend.Yvonne

We used this product on our grand dog. He was a scaly, crusty mess and had lost most of his hair. We took him to the vet and put him a regimen of medicated shampoo, oral antibiotics and an immunomodulator. We used the Skin Soother immediately after his daily bath. We also have him the salmon treats daily. I believe this product helped him regain his health. His color came back and all the scales and itching were gone. So I bought another. My pug had a dark bald spot on his neck from scratching and I was looking for something that would hopefully heal the area and let his hair grow back. I discovered the skin soother and decided to give it a try and this worked like magic! I ordered the 2 oz stick version and loved it. The application was great. It was very easy and clean to apply overall. I applied it to the area twice a day for two weeks before I was able to start seeing results. The hair started growing back and the dark skin was lightening up and becoming less dry and flaky. At the same time, my dog was scratching at it less so that was a plus. Only thing is this stick was practically gone by my second week. It would not have come close to lasting the month. That being said, I had to order another to see continued results but I ordered the larger tin instead. My only issue with this product is the tin is a lot harder to apply. The texture itself is not as soft and smooth as the stick. I also had to use my own hands to spread it on which I did not like at all. It also gets messy in the tin as my pug sheds so there is now hair stuck in the product. This worked great on my dog's irritated ear. It was a weekend AND a holiday, and my poor little guy was so uncomfortable. I couldn't find an open vet anywhere and the ER was packed. After a little research, I decided on the Zymox and found it at my local Petco, which was not only open, but open all day even though it was a holiday. An old doggo with a history of ear "dirt" that required weekly cleaning, applied these drops for a week and the results were impressive. Using a cotton ball to remove the residue (and icky stuff), and she clearly hears better. My dog went a few days with excessive "goop" from his eyes. Since my dog hasn't had a history with this, and doesn't seem to have seasonal allergies, the vet suggested an antimicrobial for the eye irritation and I went with this ophthalmic gel based on the luck I've had with other Vetericyn products in the past. I started with a tiny drop on the corner of my dog's eye to be sure he wouldn't have any reaction to it. Later that day, I went ahead and applied a few drops in each of his eyes. I applied the gel two times a day for three days in a row and by the fourth day his eyes had stopped having discharge. It is almost like my dog knew the drops would make him feel better as he kept his head very still when I applied the gel to his eyes. The shape of the dispenser where you squeeze the product out of makes it very easy to apply the gel to their eyes. While it is a "gel," it comes out of the dispenser fairly quickly which I find allows for an accurate application. The gel-like substance is great to confirm that you got the gel where you want it to go. Went out one morning and caught a glimpse of what looked like a little scratch on my horses eye. Upon inspection the eye itself was untouched but the eyelid was cut about an inch long from the back corner towards the front. I cleaned it and figured I would just leave it alone. The next morning it was itchy and irritating her and REALLY swollen. This product helped me when my dog had an eye wart. The vet said it did not need to be removed until it got to the point that he was scratching at it or it started to affect his vision. I highly recommend this product. I’ve been using Zymox for years. My terrier mix has Ear Edge Dermatitis. It’s incurable and usually tears up the edges of the ear from constant cell overgrowth (auto immune) and dogs will be plagued with constant ear issues and itching. When I notice him itching, I put a few drops in ear and massage into ear canals, then rub into the edges of ears. Do this for a couple days, itching stops, ears are clean and have a healthy pink look. It’ll be several weeks before he starts itching again. I've always liked Zymox products, but this one really impressed me! GSD/BC mix has had continual ear issues since having a hematoma drained in her right ear. The ear lays over and is full of thicker tissue which seems to hold in a ton of moisture. This last bout of pain and scratching was making her (and me!) absolutely crazy and, after a week of use, the regular Zymox I always have on hand just wasn't cutting it. Google brought me to the natural dog company because my dogs paws were the stuff off nightmares. Paw pads that look like hair which I learned was hyperkeratosis. Supposedly there is no cure for this. But I thought at the very least this would give him some relief as he must have been in some pain. Well he looks so much better already. The paws got soft enough that I was able to "trim" the filaments off sightly. Yes it was as gross as it sounds lol. He is not fully cured yet but his paws are so much closer to normal already. I thought this was way too good to be true. My dog- Victoria, a catahoula- has severe allergies and has to be on a special diet, take medications, etc. even then, she has still had really bad allergies and chews her paws and legs. While she absolutely hates this stuff- I don’t know if it is the smell (it smells good, though), but on day 2 I saw a significant change in the redness and itchiness. I run and walk my border collie 7-9 miles everyday and his paws were always rough so I decided to try this…within 1 week his cracks were almost all gone and his pads were really bad…deep skin cuts are almost fully gone!!! I had to order more of it even tho I haven't ran out fully. My dog doesn't lick it off or anything, but the first 2 times, it was hard to keep him still but now he lays there sleeping while I put it on him before bed. He lays still when I put it on in the morning also. I recommend getting the 4 Oz tin cuz I got the 2 Oz stick and after 1 week it's half gone…so if the pads are very rough, you my use a bit more than usual or recommended. My cat has very long hair and hair balls often. She actually goes through 2 periods a year where she has them almost everyday. She refuses all other hair ball medicine. I had never had a cat the refused that gel in a tube but she does and she has refused every way I have tried to give her this or other types too. I thought this would be a small chewable tablet that I could slip into her food and she wouldn’t even notice. Instead it is a very large tablet that you have to crush twice a day. So you will need a way to crush the pill to be able to give this to your cat. I don’t love that at all. I haven’t been using it long enough to notice a difference, and if it does work than my effort and crushing the pill twice a day will certainly be worth it. I received this item today. Hairball Relief for all sizes of cats 12 weeks and up. I have 2 fur babies. Mittens and Rocky. Almost daily they are coughing up fur balls. If your cat hates pills or is picky, this is what you need. It may look like just a bottle of giant pills but they break easy and my cat loves them. My 7 week old tri color bully has vomited in his third day at our house, I googled and saw it said it’s normal for pups to do this sometimes, no worries. Two days later early morning(6:50am EST) he vomited then about 10 minutes later he pooped out about 8 long worms, found they were Roundworms. I immediately went to Meijer and grabbed two boxes of this 7 Way De-Wormer for Small Dogs and gave him a tablet which he happily chomped down. He passed loads of dead worms in each stool that day(like twice). The next morning his belly wasn’t bloated anymore but he wouldn’t eat much but drank water. It says not to use til 12 weeks on the box, however if your pup is over 6 lbs then I think its okay to use. My little girl is a pit and catahoula mix and shes only about 7-8 weeks old and she handled the dewormer very well. She passed a HUGE tapeworm 🤢 we decided to deworm her due to tape worm segments being passed every so often which is absolutely gross. It took a little over 24 hours for her to pass everything. This is the single most effective and affordable dewormer for dogs. I will recommend this dewormer to everyone and use it for any puppies that I have in the future. These worked right away for my 12 pound 1 year old dog. It took overnight to see the results. I snuck it into a chewy treat before bedtime and he didn’t notice it at all since they are super small. After receiving only 1 of the 2 pills (give second pill 2-3 months later for lasting results), he didn’t have anymore worms coming out of his poop and randomly out of his butt. He was constipated for about two weeks to a month and I don’t know if it had anything to do with the worms or the pill but he’s never had that issue before. I took my aging terrier off prescription bladder control and switched to this product a little over a week ago. I did not do this gradually. So far, so good. My dog has not had any accidents in the house and seems to have as strong a bladder as with the prescription med. I've tried to sneak pills in hot dogs, works sometimes most times if they find them dogs turn their noses up and walk away. If I did not buy this powder from 1 800 pet meds. I would have to get the liquid form or molasses form. They also work: I like Cranberry Relief, because it works like the others. Cranberry Relief goes farther. I get more for my money. I can not put it in the food or try and disguise it. Pete either smells it in the food or tastes it. He will not eat the food. So, I have to put the powder in gelatin capsules and orally give him one in the morning and one in the evening. Pete just does not drink enough water. I got tired of spending a lot of money on SO 33 cat food. SO 33 makes the cat thirsty so they drink more. It also cost 55 to 65 dollars a bag. It goes up in price ever year. As long as the cranberry relief works. I can skip the expensive prescription foods. IF it stops working. I will have to try something else. Pete has been on the Cranberry Relief 3 months, so far it is working.
I read the reviews on this product here, and thought I'd give it a shot. My kitty has been getting UTI's for the last couple years, but this year she's had 3, which was quite worrying (and expensive). Every time I've taken her to the vet, they have given her antibiotics, and taken a urine sample. Every time the urinalysis came back, it showed she was clear of any harmful bacteria (so the antibiotics weren't helpful). My vet said that for some cats, they are very sensitive to stress and this causes inflammation in the bladder or urinary tract, causing her to have painful/frequent urination and blood in her urine. The last UTI she had went away on it's own. I just stayed with her for every hour besides when I was working to protect her from some bully cats in our neighborhood that might be causing the extra stress. (Also bought her some UT Support treats and Feliway for stress reduction). That worked last time. This time I feared I'd have to take her back because she really looked to be in pain… but I read about this product, (so I bought it from a local pet store, just cause I needed it right away for her) and tried it first before taking her to the vet (which is also quite stressful for her). It worked! Within two days of giving her Cranberry Relief she was urinating much less frequently And now she is actually using her litter box instead of in the bathroom sink, on my laundry or on my bathroom mat. She does not look to be in any pain, and she's purring for no apparent reason (I assume just from not being uncomfortable anymore.) I'm really happy with the results of this product. I did notice that she did not eat the food I put it in, in any larger doses than one scoop, with half a can of wet food, at least not right away. I had to not give her any alternative food and wait, and she eventually ate it. My other cat, who has never had UT problems, munched up the food better than my cat who needed the Cranberry Relief. Try this product. I'm really glad I did, and I will use it for maintenance as well in the future.
i gave this product to my chi-Pom 2ce, both times only giving 1/2 of the soft chew to introduce it slowly. The first time she scarfed it down as if it were a yummy treat but then immediately violently threw it up. I thought maybe it was because she didn't chew it very well. 2nd time, I waited a day and crumbled part of it into her breakfast, shortly after she became sluggish and started throwing up again 4 times total throughout the day. I began to wonder if the product was contaminated but by the evening she seemed fine and ate her dinner with no vomiting or problems, she was back to normal. For those of you scratching your head wondering why Angel Eyes is no longer working, the news isn't good. I have a Pomapoo and a Bichon and the original wipes worked like a miracle and my four-legged babies had clean eyes always. Then the change happened. The miracle ingredient was removed about three years ago. I have tried many products and nothing works as well for my dogs. I'm glad that some of you still find some various forms of the product to your standards. Currently I use a fragrance free lotion, careful to put just a thin coating on the stain, rubbing it in gently to soften the hard crusty eye secretions and as it softens, gently use a small pet brush or fingers depending what works best for you and your pet. I also make a paste out baking soda and use a childs toothbrush and wash they stains, careful to keep it out of their eyes. Just my two cents. Use at your own discretion. I have been using this on My Maltese for many years, used to have antibiotic in it which I believed was the active ingredient that was working, and you had to get it from the U.S. Due to U.K. laws on this without prescription. The new version easily available in he U.K. is now just as affective and you can see it start to dry up the runny eyes in about 5 days of starting it. Keep using it until has totally dried the eyes and you don't need to keep using it. one level mustard spoon size amount on there dinner or on the tongue. I have been told pink staining is a fungal infection that can spread from eye to the mouth causing the whole face to be pink or black stained. No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. When I first got it I let my cat smell it and he literally gagged (should have stopped there)?then I put it in a syringe and gave it to him and he threw up right after I gave it to him. My 20 y.o. senior cat has had upper respiratory issues since he was 1 year old, but had gotten so chronic and so bad that he has literally had a stuffy nose and sneezing for an entire year straight. It was really draining his energy. Even in the summer, he was spending all day in his heated bed. The only thing my vet knew of that might help was an off-label use of Cerenia, which is expensive and was hard to get him to take. One of our dogs starting having a lot of accidents after she turned 10. We started implementing this into her diet and definitely have seen an improvement. My 12 year old chihuahuas liver blood work came back very very high so her vet put her on Denamarin. When we did her follow up blood work 4 months later her numbers tripled. I just need to give a major shout out to this amazing company! My Tika girl was having chronic diarrhea. She is now 10 years old and I was convinced there was something majorly wrong with her. The vet couldn’t figure anything out and we were dealing with issues for months! Being in a new house with a beloved dog having accidents everywhere was so hard to deal with. I tried so many different foods that were high end and supposedly good to help with digestion and bowel issues and nothing was working. 🙁 During one of my many hours of research on what I could do to help my girl I came across Dr Harvey’s food and all the reviews from pet parents suffering from the same issues as us (and others even much worse). Of course I was a bit skeptical as always because it sounded too good to be true but decided it couldn’t hurt to try. I ordered a sample and it was so amazing that I never looked back. It’s a bit pricy but honestly not as bad as some bagged food with all the unhealthy additives or even the script foods. We now feed all 3 doggos the canine health and I also use the “runs be done” supplement (all natural). Literally our dogs have NEVER been so excited to eat before and NEVER this amazingly healthy! If anyone is having issues with their doggos I highly recommend this company! Hi! A miracle has occurred in Forest Hills! I took Baci on a long walk in the hope of increasing her appetite and then fed her Canine Health. I used raw lamb as a protein and then added a couple of the freeze dried tripe pieces, Runs Be Done and a little liverwurst. Well to my amazement she actually ate the food! I am a little concerned about the liverwurst because of the toxins in the liver, but it was only about an ounce. Hopefully, she will continue to eat the food as I believe this will help what I believe to be IBS.

My dog went into kidney failure at 8 1/2. Not sure what caused it, It could have been from a tick bite or he may have eaten something. He spent two nights in the emergency hospital on IV fluids. After two nights in the hospital The vet told me to put him down. Kidney levels were so bad he could not recover. When I Went to say my goodbyes I thought they would hand me a lethargic dog. He came running in with a cone on his head jumping all over me tail wagging and ears up. I was confused!!! I knew he was very sick yet I could see he still had life in him. I brought him home and gave him sub Q fluids every day for 10 days A follow up at the regular vet showed that his phosphorus had come down some. they suggested a prescription dog food for kidney diet. I tried several prescription foods (wet and dry) my dog would not eat any of them He was fading away to nothing and had no energy. I ordered a sample of the Dr. Harvey's Miracle dog food. Full disclosure: 1.) I'm not a vet, and this is purely allegorical. 2.) We still don't know if my dog's kidney panel levels are improving. We will be scheduling an appointment soon. But with all of that out of the way, let me just say that I was at a low point in terms of hope for my 13-year old Pit mix. Diagnosed with chronic renal failure several years ago, she was placed on medication and a special (expensive!) canned food diet. She didn't mind it at first but over the years, started eating less and less. Even adding carby goodness in the form of rice and sweet potatoes or extra flavoring like low-sodium chicken broth became insufficient to entice her to eat. I was barely getting a can a day into her. She started at a 55 lbs and dropped below 40 in a relatively short time. She looked emaciated. Legs became week and wobbly. She had tremors and was pouting virtually 24/7. She was the most miserable she's been in our 13 years together. I was sure we were nearing the end. But in searching for solutions online, I ran across Dr Harvey's Canine Health (and subsequently the Kidney Health Supplement). I read all the reviews and decided it was worth a shot. About a month in, we've almost gotten through her first 10-lb bag and she's still begging for her food at every meal. I feel like I have my puppy back. She's started to put a little healthy weight back on and just seems to have so much more energy. We've cycled through chicken, steak, boiled egg whites, and salmon as the protein add-ons – making sure to keep an eye out for high phosphorous levels – and my dog is drooling at her bowl waiting for me to load it up at every meal. After years of desperately trying to get her to eat, I'm not sure I can express the weight that lifted off of me as this became (and continues to be) our daily routine! Again, I'll add this big caveat: I don't know yet if all of this is really helping stabilize her kidney issues. I'll come back to add to this review when we have that information. And I don't even know if my vet would condone this diet change (though we have had conversations about the balance between keeping her happy in her later years vs. following a strict medical regimen). What I do know is my dog was wasting away on a prescription diet and I had to make a call as a parent to make her remaining years happy and filled with yummy meals. That's my experience. I think it falls in line with the vast majority of other reviewers. If I had it to do all over again, I'd start with this type of diet from day one. I can identify everything in the bag just by looking at it. There's no mystery about what my girl is eating. That's worth the world to me. Added bonus, for what it's worth: Dr Harvey's food actually smells good. The prescription food cans were really unpleasant to deal with. My wife is smell-sensitive and didn't want them anywhere near our kitchen or people food. But she has actually commented that Canine Health smells like something she would eat for breakfast!
