Reviews:
SUCC ESS. Was sceptical and know it doesn't work on EVERY dog but I have annoying small dog owned by a neighbour in my apartment complex that always rushes up to their grille and barks its head off when anyone uses the lift near their door. I zapped it with the Dazer II and I could visibly see it got a shock, stopped barking, and backed off. I've used it several times and now the dog has started to become a little fearful of rushing to the door grille and barking. It still barks but much less… and it seems to have figured out that sticking its head at the grill results in a Dazer II blast. Anyway, very happy with the effectiveness. The owner is useless at controlling their dog so this is the "conditioning" tool.daniellee-nz
I am pleasantly surprised that the Dazer11 appears to work. I have 4 yapping chihuahuas Nextdoor that must breath through their bums. The barking is nonstop for 8,10,12 hrs a day. It drives a sane person mental. I have used this a couple of times & it shut them up pretty quick smart. I am however getting annoyed at the amount of emails I am receiving from the company. I have purchased your product & I am happy with it but please stop sending all the emails 😡Peta
Not bad. The first one I got I ended up giving to a friend who was having issues with her own dog and others while walking. I had used it for quite a while before hand and was happy with it. Decided to get another for myself. The recent one was quite a bit more expensive than the first sadly. However I feel secure with it on board. It has helped me out on a few occasions with aggressive dogs. Though if used on a particular dog several times (useless dog owners) it seems to lose it's effectiveness. Perhaps they just get use to it. Also I found not all dogs respond to it. I guess dogs have varying levels of hearing even deafness. However all in all I would recommend.Trevor
2. Company Of Animals Pet Corrector Dog Training Aid – 50 Ml Can
Product Details:
The pet corrector emits a hiss of compressed gas (hfc 134a) which is completely safe for animals and produces a broad spectrum sound (white noise) varying from a low frequency rumble to a high frequency hiss to interrupt a dog's unwanted behaviour. the overall effect is to grab the attention of a dog. dogs exhibit a wide range of reactions according to their hearing sensitivity and prior conditioning. nevertheless, almost all dogs initially react to the pet corrector because the sound is genetically programmed to be associated with danger, such as from the hiss of a snake, an angry swan or the buzz of a dangerous insect. other uses the pet corrector is not just for dogs. on dr mugford's farm, one young horse has a playful (and cruel) tendency to chase and bite sheep. another, enjoyed chewing post and rail fences. both 'misbehaviours' can be interrupted, even from a distance, by the pet corrector. cats can misbehave too! the pet corrector can be used effectively to interrupt their stalking and catching birds and to stop them using furniture as scratching posts. the holster does not come with a 50 ml canister.

We absolutely ADORE this product for our dog! She is a mixed breed whose dominant behaviours reflect her Australian Cattle Dog DNA, and when she gets fixated on something (our cat, our food, us) this Pet Correcter is the only thing we've found that can bring her out of the fixation. We tried the coins in a can, the clicker, a whistle, other devices, and this is the one to which she responds every time. We love that it's not harmful, it hasn't caused her any kind of startle or nervous behaviours upon hearing the sound, and it has enabled us to use verbal 'hisses' when we don't have it at hand to break her fixation. We love it, and so glad Petco carries it in the larger size!Cerebreality
So I bought this today , mostly out of because my nerves are gone from a dog I have that barks at EVERYTHING. I have other dogs and if they even move to change their laying position or I get up to go into other room, she barks non stop. So when I went into the store today and talked to the team member about what I was wanting and her behaviors she suggested this product. I came home and when she started barking and I told her to stop and when she didn't I sprayed it.,it was an IMMEDIATE quiet. then she did it again and I said no, she continued to bark so I sprayed it again. and WOW she stopped. I have to say I am so happy right now, with having 4 dogs 3 of whom like to bark it is hardly ever quiet in here, someone moves or knocks on door or it is feeding time it is a mad house in here. I LOVE IT AND I WILL BE BUYING MORE TO USE TO HELP TRAIN HER MORE. I asked her to stop tonight when my son grabbed trash bags ( another thing that sets her off) and she stopped when I asked her to… I will be calling the store I bought it from and thank the person whom helped me. Sorry this review is so long, but 6 yrs of this and nothing else has helped.renee513
I have a dog who had a very bad and dangerous habit of chasing cars. I tried everything to fix this including: high frequency sounds, treats and positive reinforcement, training, vibrations, physically restraining and even an e collar. Nothing worked, at least not consistently. I bought a can of this and my dog has stopped chasing cars after the FIRST spray! I dont even have to use it, just the sight of the can and he goes on his best behavior. It also has remedied excessive barking. I can't say enough good things about this product, it has been a total game changer for me. I immediately bought two more to stock up.RKRK

Reviews:
These collars work great with a little bit of time and training. After a year of use, with supervision, I can now take my dogs (Basenji & G.Shep) outside on our 3 acres without the collars because they have now learned the boundaries. My favorite feature of these collars is the nightlight and the beep function. The nightlight is perfect for going out at night and keeping my eyes on where each dog is located. The beep function is fantastic, my dogs have learned the beep means to turn around and come back. During training I used the shock function (level 8 & I did test the level of intensity on my own leg) only a handful of times when absolutely necessary and it's never used now. Both dogs now respond to the beep and if they're chasing a deer they'll stop to the vibrate function. The two CONS I have with these collars are the rubber covers for the progs come off so easily when the dogs are wrestling and get lost constantly. The other con is that I've had the collars close to a year now and the rechargeable batteries within the device are dying. The collars are on charge constantly now so that they are charged up for when they are needed. The collar dies within about 8 hours before it needs a charge even if it's turned off. Whereas when I first got them the charge lasted about a week. This is after treating them correctly, turning off when not in use and only charging when needed.Elizabeth R.
I have used this collar for 2-3 years now, I went with it as it is one of the highest rated collars when researched. I do run into technical difficulties as you do with anything else and have had no problem with having them replaced. I favorite part is the range and diverse control settings. When my dogs are out of the yard, I just hit the sound button and they know they have went to far and to get back. They come usually immediately. My least favorite part is the product does not seem to last very long.. in the two to three years I’ve used this, I have had to get a few replaced and all with different problems. I recently bought a brand new set of two, and I am very happy. I just have a problem with one of them flashing the green light constantly while the device is on and the battery life on that specific collar does not last. Overall still my favorite collar, although I haven‘t used anything else!Sarah
I love how the vibration & shock can be set from 0-99. The sound tones are also pitched slightly different for each collar & has the option to add a third collar. I’ve had this for months & the battery in the remote lasts extremely long. I think I’ve only charged it once. The collars last days as well. The only thing I wish was easier is the ability to switch over from each channel. When you switch from shock to vibrate, the first click is to switch over, then the second click actually vibrates the collar (& vice versa). When switching over to the other channel, you have to follow the same procedure. Which is fine for normal circumstances. But, when it’s an emergent situation, that extra time it takes to shock/ vibrate the other collar can make a huge difference & lead to a struggle in a stressful situation.Erin

Product Details:

Specifications:
Reviews:
The product is basically as it is described. My puppy is a little rambunctious, so she wouldn't stop pulling them around and trying to eat the grass off. She is 4 months old and very energetic. She was initially trained on potty pads, but we were looking for a segue into training her to go outside. It didn't really work for us. I know nothing about dog training, but I would recommend starting a puppy on them day 1. Good product though. I'll be looking for alternative uses.crishep_7
I ordered a LARGE for my PUGGLE and he barely can fit on it. Definitely not even close to true to size. And since i've started using this the scent of urine has been obnoxious and potent and i clean it daily with pet lysol spray and hot water. Honestly id rather let my dog pee on the floors and clean it up daily rather than use this "indoor restroom". Extremely dissatisfied.Lady J
This is a purchase that I can conclude as a lesson learnt. I purchased this product because it was smaller than my other pet unit which allowed it for portability when traveling. The turf itself is okay quality, easy to clean and drains correctly. However, the middle draining tray is not designed at all to work at all. The urine just collects on top of the drain tray because the holes and bumps aren't in a functional area and it barely drains to the lower tray. It is made from a texture that soaks up the urine instead of allowing it to flow off and threw, therefore it collects oder, collects urine that won't wash/scrub off, it can't be cleaned properly and all that waste causes the material to break down. When I say break down, I mean in ever sense. It starts to break off in pieces. Every time I clean the product, more peices fall off and it gets smaller and smaller. Basically, this product does not work. I learned that I should stick with what works and not take chances of cheaper off brand products. Even though the size of my other potty unit is less portable, it actually works! (If it's okay to say, I only trust the AKC Official Potty Patch, which is superior in every way to this product.)HeathersLasVegas

Reviews:
This was purchased to replace an item that didn't work very well and was more expensive. The design is great. We use the tone and the static. We use the tone first and if that doesn't work then we use the static. It is set on the lowest setting but still works well so if you have to use the static then start with the lowest setting. We haven't had to use the static hardly any since he has learned if he doesn't obey by the tone then he will get the static. It doesn't harm them. I've seen ratings where people didn't use the static and if you don't have to that's great but sometimes you have one very energetic and stubborn so it's a must. That's why the option is there.basc
This product is awesome for my use! I live on a State Road that’s busy at times! My dog always has his collar on when I let him loose! It has trained him not to go out to the road! So I use this collar every day! Also the operation is very easy! I dont have to look at a screen to see what it is set on! Basically used the tone button or the shock button if needed! I have not had to use the shock very much at all over the years! Also so convenient when hunting! I can keep my eyes on my dog to know what’s going on with him without having to look again at some screen for my settings! Easy to use and they have lasted much longer than any other collar I have had over the years! There’s nothing better out there for this price and dependable operation!Truggles

Is this item a replacement for the RFA-577 model? The button on the training collar wore out and will not turn on the module anymore. I have gotten a solid two years out of the collar and I am very pleased with the results of responsible training for my dog. *Dominoe is a very well behaved dog and I am constantly getting compliments on his behavior. The remote is still in great shape so I'm in search of just the collar module. Thanks for any help and insight. I’ve been using this collar for the last week with my golden doodle and it’s working out great. I used to run with a leash and now I don’t have to do that. It only took a little bit of practice or training but he picked up really quick and stays close to me. The range seems really good as I let him go pretty far away when I was testing this. The collar seems very comfortable for him too. I tested the static stimulation and it wasn’t bad at all. I like the idea that you can add another dog on to this and will be pursuing that with my other dog. Overall this is a great product and has served me well in running and taking my dog for walks!!Robpolo19
This review is going to have to be followed up on. Training a dog takes time and just trying to get the dog comfortable with the product around her neck. Although the collar is perfect size for the size of my dog. This is for a dog 8lbs plus. And 6 months plus. I am working first to slowly get the puppy used to it. I have it on the lowest sensitivity setting. It appears to work very well so far and clearly my dog understands this device is in control.. It’s nicely packaged and appears to be a quality product. More time will tell but I am already happy about getting it.Kellyopp10
My lhasa loves to bark and annoy my neighbors at night. He is the master of selective hearing (he answers my calls and commands as he pleases… I guess this is a lhasa thing). I tested this trainer collar on him and got good results overall (the best thing is that I can get his attention from far away, without having to go all the way to the back yard!). I like that this product has a slim profile, and fitted well my small lhasa. He doesn't seem bothered by wearing the collar. I usually leave the collar on him during nighttime only (the user guide recommends leaving the collar on you dog for a max of 12 hours, by the way). I found my dog to respond well to the buzz mode (vibration), but he completely ignores the beep mode (sound alert). So far I haven't tried the shock mode (no need for my dog, as the buzz is enough to get his attention). The product is very easy to setup and use, and it seems to have a strong build. The charging of the collar and remote is via usb port (haven't used it a lot yet to assess how long the charge lasts). A nice feature is that the collar is water submersible. Another great feature is that the shock level can be tuned (99 different levels). It would be great if the sound and buzz could also be adjusted, but only 1 setting is available. Overall a good product. Works as advertised.henry2

Product Details:
By pressing the clearly labeled buttons on the remote, you can deliver a tone, vibration or static stimulation when you need to warn your dog, get his/her attention, or correct unwanted behaviors such as jumping. customize the level of correction to your dog's temperament by pressing the up/down buttons to select one of the 99 available levels. every dog has a different level of sensitivity dependent on the breed and other factors. this collar provides 3 types of correction because sometimes all your dog needs to be distracted is a tone or vibration. the static stimulation scale between 1-99 allows you to adjust the level of stimulation in very small increments making it safe and effective for every dog type. tip: start with the lowest setting to see what your dog reacts to this could be a simple twitch of the ear, cocking of the head, or pause of activity. it just needs to be enough of a distraction to redirect your dog's attention. stop bad habits like jumping, digging in the yard, or getting into the trash. what's in the box? training collar remote usb charging cable rechargeable lithium-ion battery test light tool product manual the premier pet 300 yard trainer is a dog training tool that's easy for you to enforce the rules in a way that your dog can understand. out-of-the-box, easy-to-use design great for first time dog training. 300 yards is the perfect training range for a stroll at the park or well-controlled training for indoor use and the backyard.
Reviews:
Bought this for conditional bark training of our English Shepherd- we want him to bark, just NOT in the house, so we need to be able to stop it when we want, not all the time like a bark collar. As another reviewer notes, NOT WATERPROOF. There is a little rubber door on the back over the charge port, but even if you flip it closed and press it down it still springs back up; it gets bent while charging and keeps that shape. Doesn't take much of a gap to suck in water when said puppy loves going for a morning swim in the pond… It hasn't been working recently, so I opened the rubber cover and water dripped out… took it apart and it was ALMOST FULL OF WATER. So much for waterproof! Corrosion on the components shows it's been like this for some time, and just went out. Save your money and get a brand-name unit. This one is not worth the time, unless you can GUARANTEE your pet will NEVER get it wet.NickLPlated
I recently purchased this collar at my local Walmart after reading good reviews. It works great when it is charged up. I've purchased collars online that lasted a while before charging but decided to get this one instead of waiting. Charge time is a couple hours which is fine. Use time, minimal. I charge it full every 1-2 days, that's about how long it lasts on a charge. This is basically the standby time it lasts. With frequent use, you may be looking at daily charging, if not twice a day. In general, the collar is great and does what it's supposed to do. The battery life is the worst part.Robert
I bought a Beagle pup for my kids for Christmas 3 years ago. Little did I know that this little tiny puppy would grow up to put me through more stress and worry than anyone deserves. "Stubborn" just does not cover it. He would get out the house and run and run and run. I'd call his name or try to chase him and he would just run further and further away. He almost gave me a heart attack when he ran into an extremely busy 4 lane highway one morning on one of his runs. I truly thought he was a goner. I have spent so much money on trying to contain him and literally nothing I tried worked. I found the Premier Pet 300 Yard Trainer at Walmart in the pet isle. I had researched the remote control collars and couldn't bring myself to pay upwards of 200+ for something I was skeptical would work in the first place. The price of the 300 Yard Trainer set was around $50 which made me even more skeptical about whether or not it would work. Had I known just how well it did work then I would have paid triple for it. One session was all it took to see a complete turn around in my dog. He does not leave my side when we go out, and if he does wander away a little all I have to do is call him and he IMMEDIATELY returns to me. I truly cannot express how grateful I am for this product. Not only is it affordable but it REALLY works. You can also add a second collar if you have more then one dog. Some people think it's cruel to give a dog a shock, but I truly believe that that one shock probably saved my dogs life. To keep him out of the busy highway I would gladly do it again. I have an adopted fur-baby that had a lot of control and behavior issues. Training, the usual way was just not working. I tried this and, within one day, the disruptive behavior (running and tearing up things in the house, jumping from one piece of furniture to another, non-stop barking) all stopped. He began with sitting, immediately after only two "vibrations" of the collar. By the end of the week, all I had to do was take out the remote control, say the words of sit, stay, no and wait, and he did so. Now, I don't have to use the remote at all but just say the words. I will tell you that, under no circumstances would I recommend the "shock" feature. Because it is easily changed on this model, by accident, I found out, the hard way just how much it hurts the animal. If you click MODE, by accident, from it being on vibrate, it switches over to Shock. BE VERY CAREFUL when you are about to use the Y button, for sound or vibration as, if it's on shock–and this was the very low setting–the dog whelps loudly and jumps, shakes, etc. I would not recommend it for any animal lover as, I don't even want to know what it feels like. Because the vibration is strong, even on low settings, and the other setting of "beep" is a high frequency sound, I found them the most effective. Thebeep sound is for Guiness (my new family member) to come–I use the vibration for correction, when needed. Guiness was the most difficult dog that I have worked with and I have behavioral training for dogs, which I have used for all of my pets. If this worked on him, it will work on most dogs that have behavioral issues. I would recommend it for the vibration and sound settings–and hope to get one that doesn't have the shock setting as, I feel that is just inhumane to use on a dog (my opinion after seeing how he reacted, on just a low setting). PLEASE USE CAREFULLY until you are used to the remote. That is my only advice when purchasing this for training.kelly4jesus
I have had the collar only a few days and so far it has met every expectation. We had a more expensive name brand training collar before this one which my dog somehow removed and chewed to oblivion. Rather than spend over $150 to replace it I wanted to try out a cheaper alternative in the likely event he ruins another one in the future. He had already been familiar with a training collar so going to this one was no problem. I like having a beep tone as well as a vibrate warning before having to go with a full on shock. I have so far only had the use the warning tone which is nice and loud on this collar and the pup recognizes it right away. It seems to have decent distance, have not tested the claimed 330 yards yet though. For the price it is a great unit with nice features. The more expensive one we had before was much more robust but I didnt expect this to be built the same for 1/5th the price, with that said it is built well, surprisingly well for the money honestly. Have not tested the waterproof ability yet as we dont live near water but it looks like it should be fine to get wet without issue. Battery life seems good so far, going on several days without a recharge but we dont use it all day either. Overall I am so far satisfied with it, I would recommend this toanyone who wants an inexpensive training collar but I dont expect it to last for years like the other one we had.kerr8719
Tested on an open field with the collar in line of sight, the range is roughly 150 feet. That said, I strongly doubt if any of the other e-collars can do much better without extraordinary antennas. Here in the US the transmitting power of devices like this is severely limited by law, so the only way to get more range than the competition is to have more prominent antennas. This collar delivers on a 2 year old high drive, 78 pound, male doberman. I used the shock once at 30 and it definitively got a yelp and the dog's attention. Since then the "vibrate" mode is effective enough. Most of the time we use the collar to stop barking at the window, The dog barks we say "quiet" and if, and only "if", the dog immediately barks again he gets a "vibrate". He seems to avoid barking immediately after a "quiet" command. Now the challenge is to extend the time he doesn't bark for at least 30 seconds after a "quiet" commend. Our second and very infrequent application is open field recalls. For that I'd dearly love an electric collar with a 100 yard range, but even this collar's 50 yard range is helpful. Using an e-collar in an open field is a tricky business. What seems to work is to put the collar away until you have a good recall without distractions. Even 10 feet in a hallway or tennis court teaches you and your dog how to do a recall that ends with the beast sitting nicely in front of you and getting a tasty reward. Never repeat your recall command even if it means constantly dragging the animal back until it figures our what you expect. What the e-collar is then useful for is dealing with distractions — another dog, an annoying squirrel or even sniffing a bit of chicken soup spilled nearby. Issue your recall command and look for that momentary hesitation when the animal decides to ignore you and hit the e-collar to remind the beast that you just gave a command. Any other timing and the animal has no clue and would just as easily take off in the opposite direction to get away from the unwelcome stimulation. One feature I miss is a combination tone/shock. Most dogs will quickly associate the tone with the shock and you'll *never* need to use a shock again. Aren't you glad you didn't ask? Aza D. Oberman 3/27/2018wwiernce

The 435 X series is really nice and has a small remote control that fits into my hand (I am only 5'4). The XS series is stronger (for large dogs that can be stubborn) and was too much for my need… that's why I really wanted the X series. The 825 X is the same as the 425 X except is has a longer distance reach (1/2 mile) but the remote is a little big bigger. Works great…. make sure you read the manual for the different settings and understand that this is not a training tool per say but a corrective tool (meaning your dog has to know and understand commands BEFORE using it)…Do NOT use as a punitive tool. The nice thing is this item allows you to choose either tone, vibration, or static mode. 99% of the time I only need to use vibration for my dog to get his attention (he cN get sobfocused on a scent that he doesn't pay attention to my commands). He sometimes takes off after a rabbit/wild pig etc. and that's when I have to use the static mode to quickly get his attention away from his chase. I really like that it is waterproof (my dog swims into ponds and rivers)…some other brands claim to be waterproof but really mean to say water resistant! If it doesn't show water depth then it is not waterproof. Quality product worth the money.Noone12345
I have tried everything I knew with this dog, built a relationship with him, treats, toys, praise and I wasn’t able to find anything that would motivate him to actually follow the commands that I knew he knew. I was afraid to use a “shock collar” because I thought it was going to be cruel but it had been 5 months where this 3 year old pit was with me and there seemed to be no progress. I really was not able to find something that worked. I was at a loss and willing to try just about anything. I watched some of the training videos on sportdog’s page. I ended up buying this and I charged it up like they said. I then tried it on myself first. I was very surprised, it reminded me of a tens machine that the chiropractor uses, not what I thought it was going to be at all. It’s been 3 days since I started to use this collar (425XS) and he is responding to voice commands now and the “beep” function on the collar. It is a pleasure taking him out and I’m sure he enjoys not having to be on just a 6’ leash and he gets to run around.Trucker Jeff
Bought this for the intention of training my bulldog to stop running out of our driveway. Never had to use the vibration setting only the beep setting, and seems to work perfectly. Plenty of length on the collar to fit his big neck and then some . Also have used it on my schnauzer and mini doodle .Dawggang

I was so impressed with how long and how well this works. It controls my Gsd and CO dogs. The battery life is amazing on the collars! Mine are used daily and they are still charged a month later. The shock has a good range with a huge difference. From light shock to a heavy shock. The same for Vibration. The tone is amazing , each level is a different sound. My dogs have their own tone for individual correction. The collars are colored and I marked on the unit adogs color, b dogs color and same for c dog.. I couldnt be happier with a more expensive unit than this one. I tried the aeterek Garmin 3 dog shock collar(same priced name brand) and was disappointed as the settings were all the same as were the tone and vibrate. Also the maximum level of shock was not strong enough for my dogs.the price on this 3 dog system is very competitive. You usually get what you pay for but in this case I highly recommend it for your dog.saminator_crystal10
Cons: The sound feature is too weak and lame to get the attention of any dog. The remote is clunky and bigger than necessary and the buttons are badly arranged. You must select the function first before you send a command to the collar. The instructions are overly complex and confusing due to poor product design. The collar does not turn itself off when not in use and the range is iffy. Pros: It looks nice and appears well made. It is the best of the three I have tried. It functions well and reliably. The vibrate function is usually sufficient to get attention. Battery charge lasts sufficiently long and re-charge is not a hassle Skip the cheap ones; You save money by going straight to this pricey-er model.jakes.mail
This is the second training collar I purchased since August. I bought an Oxford and that didn't last. I liked some of the Oxford features over this EasyPet Collar. This collar system is better made and I expect will last longer. While I like the multiple levels of each of the sound, vibration, and shock getting to the setting in a hurry doesn't happen. I have two pit bull mixes. The sound, any level, works for one of the dogs, but not the other. I have moved to the vibration correction for him. This works well as does the shock. He returns to me with both of these. I do suggest putting a sensor on the remote as when the dog is returning after being corrected and cannot see the trainer (as he was deep in the woods) perhaps a sound on the remote would aid the dog's quicker return. I'm suggesting this as he came out of the woods at a different point than where I was. My second suggestion is making the recharging plug on the collar easier to insert. The plug seems flimsy and is hard to secure on it. Since it is so important for the plug to be in to maintain the waterproof feature it should be easier to put in. I do like this product better than the Oxford I purchased so far.MaryP

For one year Old English Lab. Not neutered, was getting a little defiant, and was running out into the street, and eating ALL KINDS of garbage. Was reticent to get a shock collar, I could NEVER hurt any animal, but only had to shock him ONCE in two weeks ! He is a different Dog ! As long as you follow the "Command, beep, vibrate order?" He now stops his running away, AND drops any "food" he finds usually just from the beep ! Half the time just the command works ! (Which NEVER did) He knew I was too old to catch him, so there was never any consequence to his misbehavior. I truly feel this thing will probably save his life, either by not getting run over, or from a blockage or poison he'd pick up on the walks. Labs eat EVERYTHING !sobrmn5
We love this collar. We purchased another shock collar previously and this one is by far superior. The battery life is great and my dog responds to the beep, vibrate, and I rarely have had shock him bc the other 2 work so well. This collar has a long range and I am able to beep him when he is doing something he shouldnt outside without having to be close to him. I love that this remote locks so our little ones dont shock him. This has helped us teach him the behaviors to avoid and he has become such a better dog. I cant say enough positive things about this collar.cjberry103
Decent quality. Good sound, vibration and shock. It is nice that they can be done separately. Some dogs do not require shock. Water resistant to a point. The last one we had eventually shorted out. The small rubber plug gets damaged/destroyed and water gets into the unit and it is done.rawheeler59

We have a golden retriever that we have tried to train, but unfortunately she remains completely out of control. We decided to try a chock collar as a last resort and decided on this one because the specs seemed really good for the price. It has worked so great. We are still in the process of training, but having this reinforces what we are teaching her and we are finally seeing progress! We are planning on getting a second dog when we are feeling like we have this one under control, so having two separate shock collars that can both be controlled by one remote will be really convenient! It is very straightforward and easy to use. I'm very pleased with my purchase!bfn87
absolute junk! I domt know how they claim this is water proof when tape is used on the connection board inside the housing of the collar. I have no idea what it was securing, but I suspect it had something to do with when the unit is being charged. I have 2 chihuahua's and even at level 30 they didn't respond. I only used it for a short while and put it away for winter. When I tried to use it again just recently in the spring I discovered the units didn't work. I guess the scotch tape lost its adhesiveness I bought a pet safe system and level one gave me the result I needed.martha
This really worked awesome. I have a 3 year old golden retriever who constantly barked all day and night. Neighbors called animal control about the barking and they came to our home and warned us. Then a week or two later that neighbor came over and knocked at the door. Said his family was up all night because of the barking.. our dog barked at anything and went ballistic when spotting another dog or cat… We thought there was no hope. So we bought this collar and within two days (using the vibration ~ Not shock) he has completely stopped barking. It has been amazing. I would recommend this to anyone having similar problems. Great transition and service!exvso8m1

While I didn't love the smell of this, it fulfilled it's purpose. My significant other I adopted a puppy last summer, and her previous owner clearly made no effort to train her. We had to start potty training from scratch, and nothing was working until we got this spray. Anytime she had to go she would just drop to pee wherever she was. As soon as we got this spray all of our issues disappeared. I would spray this on the wee wee pads in the house, and when we went out for walks I would spray it on the ground. As soon as we started using this she was able to grasp the concept right away, and we are now approximately 6 months without accidents 🙂kaelynn.t
Got this from Petco and was shocked at how bad it smelled. I read the other reviews and thought maybe it would fade but not only didn't it, the smell was on my hands bec the bottle leaks. Plus, my puppy was actually turned off by it. The smell lingered into the hallway of my building. I used every cleaning product I could to get rid of it. I think it's been about 10 hours now and it's finally gone. Honestly, even if my puppy hadn't been disgusted by it, and had it worked, I would never spray such an awful smelling product again.bev50
The smell of this stuff is absolutely oppressive. Before we even opened the package we could smell it. It's like… stale horse urine that's been roasting in the sun. HOWEVER…. IT REALLY WORKS. We're training our puppy to use a small grass patch in our home with about a 25% success rate. Within 2 days of using this spray she used the grass patch 75% of the time. One week later she ONLY uses the patch! Plug your nose, light a candle, spray some febreze, whatever you have to do. It was totally worth it.xatia.x

Battery life is excellent. Have had the collar for three months now training my dog twice a week with the collar being on for three hours at a time. Haven’t had to charge either the remote or the receiver once. Great quality, suited well for every dog no matter the size or level of pressure they may need to get a proper correction.ADAM B.

Reviews:
I one hundred percent recommend this product. I have used E collars in the past but my dogs respond so much better and I get positive reinforcement with ultrasonic tone. It's not painful to my dogs but gets immediate response on recall or stopping negative behavior and it has a reward tone for doing good. Great product. Recommended to all my fellow dog owners.Big Dollar Pittbulls
First the website should indicate a 9V battery is required to operate the remote. Nor does it indicate it on the packaging. Fortunately I had on on hand after it was apparent one was needed. Second: The sound is wonderful for her ears and not mine. She perks up each time she hears the noise. I reward her with a small treat. It wasn't until we went for our walk the next day that I was able to try out the "N" part of the remote. I use it together with the words (not new to her) "leave it." It appears to work just find when on a busy road and we are on a sidewalk. However, we live in a condominium atmosphere and golf carts, Fed Ex and UPS trucks are about and close to a walker where there are no sidewalks. For the record, she is a Dingo, rescued street dog for 2 1/2 years from Puerto Rico. I am her very first owner. She has come along way however when her mind is set on the nasty golf cart, etc. the remote will not work. Period. She tunes it out and is completely focused on the "nasty." Overall I would recommend the remote. Its effectiveness will depend on the mindset of the dog to begin with and of course utmost patience with the owner/handler with teaching.Duchess
