We have a lot of different pool toys. Our three dogs like the Chuckit toys the best and the Tumble Bumper is a favorite. It is good for fetch, keep a way , catch, and holding it above the water and having them jump for it (see Abby's picture). It is fairly durable, has long as you do not leave it in the sun. All the Chuckit toys made with the same cover as this toy get gooey if left in the sun. We play in the pool almost daily in the summer and this toy will last 2 or 3 seasons. I have an older dog that throughout the years has destroyed at least a hundred squeak toys. He loves the squeak but we don’t so I thought I would give this toy a try. The blue/orange chuckit balls are great and loved by the dogs over their original orange/blue ones (those who know understand what I'm saying), but, they don't last long. The squeaker pops out of it's holder inside the ball after about four chomps. Then rattles around inside the ball. I've been ordering these tracheas for awhile, my last shipment was smellier than I remember them being before. The smell reminded me of dried tripe I order for my dogs…of course, much better though. Since my dog enjoyed both the non-smelly ones and these seemingly equally, I guess I'd rather they had less smell. 🙂 These tracheas, while large, are hollow, easy to chew apart and so they don't last too long for my 80 lb Dobe. For a small dog this would probably be more worth it (financially) but I imagine it would need to be broken up into chunks. I wouldn't want this lying around post-chew (stinky).[…]Overall I'd definitely recommend these but if you're looking for a really long-lasting chew, this might disappoint.DobieMommy
My pup freaking loves this thing. It is her favorite toy, paws down! She likes to chew on the little dots and she likes to chase after it when we throw it. It was not too expensive and since my dog is tiny, it hasn't been destroyed yet. If she does I'll have to buy another one!heidi.h

This is my maltipoo’s absolute favorite toy. She has had a couple penguins over the last few years and it is a toy that I will continue to buy again and again. My 4 month old corgi pup absolutely loves her penguin. I got one for her when I first got my puppy at 9 weeks old and she took to it almost immediately. She still has her first but it doesn't squeak anymore because she tore a hole in its head. So I bought her a new one and now I kinda regret it because she squeaks it so much. Excellent quality and love the size and shape! Easy for my dogs to keep a good grip and they tend to fight over this one and the starfish. I think they enjoy the texture and corners to chew on. Super durable and great for power chewers! I have a 5 and 6 year old English bulldog and Boston terrier/pug and our vet recently commented on their teeth and what amazing condition they are in. My dogs have both the SodaPup Starfish and Butterfly, and both have been favorites. The Butterfly is a little softer but still tough, so they spend more time just chewing on it than wanting to eat peanut butter out of it. Even with them being power chewers and taking turns packing this butterfly around the house, they've hardly made an impact on the material so it definitely holds up.Kalyn
