I decided to try Quiet Moments because I was having difficulty finding the brand recommended by my veterinarian. My elderly Dachshund was having anxiety issues, so had looked for something "non-chemical" to treat her with if at all possible. I'm cautiously pleased after using it for three weeks now. It appears to be working almost as well as the supplement I had previously been using–and it's available here in town at our (new!) Tractor Supply. Big plus–our Tractor Supply offers online purchase and curbside pickup, something that's great for elderly/disabled! First time ordering and the item came quickly which was great. Unfortunately, the box was completely busted open and the treats had fallen out into the shipping bag. My dog was in a high-stress situation so I didn't have time to take a picture or send the treats back, but I really wish they handled my package with more care. The only reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because it took a little longer than expected for these to kick in. My dog has terrible anxiety and when it storms, she shakes and pants heavily and just paces everywhere. I had to look for something because her behavior was becoming so bad, I couldn't control her and she's normally well behaved. I saw the reviews and ordered these. I gave her two due to her size and after about half an hour, the shaking and heavy breathing stopped. She became so calm. I should have gotten these a long time ago! So I have a little 6 lb Pomeranian that has mild separation anxiety. I gave her half of a pill everyday before I left for work. They weren't exactly miracle pills, but they did help calm her down a little bit, hence the two star rating. However, after about two weeks, I noticed that her fur began to fall out. I checked the pills and their reviews but found nothing about fur loss being a side effect, so I just assumed it was something else. After another week she had no undercoat and I was about to take her to the vet but decided to try not giving her the pills first. She stopped losing fur and now, 3 months later, her coat has come back. Miley has been taking Pro-Sense Anti-Stress Calming Tablets for over 6 months. Thunder, fireworks, etc. made her shake and prance and totally out of control. Lady is a rescue dog and she becomes very anxious when she hears fireworks, gunshots, thunder, etc. We used to give her Benadryl when thunderstorms were passing through our area and it worked OK but tended to make her very drowsy. This is a great natural product to have on hand for anxiety and stressful times. I use it for anxiety reactions in our hyper, yet very intellilgent, border collie mix, on those occasions when she will not settle, or prior to trips to the vet. I have four large dogs. One is a Great Pyronese and the other three are 1/2 GP and 1/2 yellow lab. One of the 1/2-n-1/2's is high strung, anxious and somewhat aggressive. The first week I gave her 2 2x's a day and it seems to work and then she adjusted to it. So I started giving her 3 2x's a day and she is much calmer and less needy. But she still goes crazy when someone comes over. But since peeps rarely come that wasn't our biggest issue as we could always put her in her kennel when someone came over; it's the times when we're at home and she was driving us crazy with all her anxiety issues. I had a perfectly pleasant experience with this company, but the product itself has only caused my puppy to act out. I'm not sure why, especially after reading so many positive reviews, but these "calming bites" trigger the opposite behavior in my dog. He has far more energy and it's all destructive/aggressive. Every time I've given him a full tablet, he has stayed up later than usual wanted to play (think midnight instead of 9 PM). So these bites aren't for us. I agree that my dog, a lab hates the flavor and was seeking out the pill and spitting it out until I tried baby food turkey and chicken in the little jars. I use a baby spoon and bury the pill in the meat. She gobbles it up and does even notice even the pill. We do it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. My 12 year old Shiba Inu had 850 liver enzymes. That's so bad and I was so stressed. She has been on this stuff for over 1 year and now her enzymes are about 420. I read some other reviews on how people are getting their dog to take the pill and I laughed because it's what I do also! Cocker has “dry eyes and prescribed steroids and cyclosporine twice daily each eye. Suspect his extremely elevated liver enzymes may be due to long term steroid use or could just be his age. Haven’t tested for Cushing’s but sonograms reveal no tumors on liver or pituitary glands. He was lethargic and never feeling well until his doctor advised trying the Denamarin. His Opthalmologist concurred it was a great idea. Haven’t yet tested his liver enzymes again to see if the numbers have improved (hasn’t been on them quite a full month) but I’ve reordered and will receive the pills monthly. Bottom line: he’s a lot more energetic, playing with his toys again, not sleeping all the time, just overall feeling so much better. He’s acting normal again—normal for an 11-plus year-old Cocker. Did a lot of research before giving him the Denamarin and felt they were safe, and most people had positive results using it. Only drawback would be that the pills for large dogs are really big. You’re supposed to administer 1 hr before or 2 hrs after a meal, which I do with a little piece of boiled chicken breast to hide it and help it go down, and it goes down without a problem. Can’t imagine any dog of any size being able to swallow a pill that size without an owner hiding it in a little chunk of something, cheese, pill pocket, treat. Anything to help it go down easier. And helps if they drink a little water. Can’t wait to have his liver enzymes tested again. I’m confident they will have improved. Side note: when one’s liver is not working properly, urine can have an odd and strong odor, which his did. Standing several feet away, I knew something wasn’t right. That too has resolved which makes me believe his liver is on the mend.Yvonne

I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. You can continue every other day for another 2 weeks.Cricketoes

I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie

I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I came home and sprayed the areas with this, and he didn’t freak out like I thought so I know it didn’t hurt! He became calm and only tried to lick a few times before he relaxed and rested. Our lab was taking shots at the vet monthly for joint pain that started around 13 years old, eventually they also prescribed pain pills to take as needed. She no longer needs the shots. Our vet suggested this product after her shots were not as effective, she was slow getting around. She no longer needs the shots, lab will be 15 in three months and she has been jogging when outside playing in the last several months and we cannot remember the last time she was able to do that. While this product is a bit expensive, as everything else is that my vet wants me to put my dog on, the product does help a lot. I can tell a difference between now and before my 11year old dachshund started this product. He is also taking Phycox with it for his joints. He was taking Phycox first, but it didn't help enough…maybe because of his age and problems worsening with age. He is walking better and sometimes runs around playing. He had a hard time going up and down steps outside to go potty. My vet wanted me to keep him from going up and down steps or jumping up or down on furniture. Dachshunds shouldn't be doing this anyways because of their predisposition to back and joint issues. I still try to keep him from going up or down steps, even though he is doing better. But, since taking this product, he doesn't always wait for me at bottom of steps to pick him up, as he used to do when in more pain. I just ensure I keep watch to try and catch him before he gets to the steps. So, I know it is helping. He doesn't limp nearly as much now. He only limps a little here and there. He was limping almost all the time before the Movoflex. I'd also like to mention that prices on eBay have already started going up since my dog started taking this product about 6 months ago. So, when I found this pack of two that is just a little cheaper, I made the purchase. Every dollar counts when your pets are taking meds that cost more than my copays/meds. I should also add that, per my vet's recommendation, when purchasing things like this on eBay, you should always call the company that makes the product to confirm the lot# and expiration date on container, so you will know for sure it is real product, and can have eBay make them return your money if it isn't. Many people will sell products to us and they are not the real thing. Pets could be taking something that isn't even what you thought you bought. I have tried other products that contain glucosamine chondroitin and MSM but I found that nothing was as helpful to my dogs CCL treatment as this product. Whatever they use in this product, I find, is more effective than other products I have used.Maureen

First off, this product was shipped to me with every precaution against seepage, spillage or the bottle leaking (see photos). I order a lot online and was very impressed at how the product was packed for shipment. The bottle was encased in a bubble, sealed pack that I had to cut open with scissors to access the 32 ounce bottle. This product contains 1600mg of Glucosamine Hcl, 1200 MG Chondroitin Sulfate and undisclosed amount of HA (Hyaluronic Acid). The formula also contains aloe vera juice, citric acid, potassium sorbate, vegetable glycerin, Stevia and water. There are some cautions such as pregnant or animals intended for breeding that safe use hasn't been proven so read the caution section carefully. For my small dog, the directions stated to shake the product well, and measure out two teaspoons; there is a weight chart to indicate what dosage you should use according to your pet's weight. (Refrigerate after opening the product). I mixed the formula in with my dog's food, and she didn't seem to turn her nose up at her food, she is a very picky eater. She finished her food with no issue each time I added the liquid which was daily. I haven't used this for very long but after a few days, she seems to be moving with more ease. I will continue to give her this supplement because I believe just like humans, as our pet's age their joints begin to deteriorate and anything I can do to lessen her pain as she ages, I'm all for.Paige

I was originally given this product by my mother who was using it for her Chihuahua who had injured his ACL and had to have surgery. She told me about K9 Liquid Health and let me borrow a few ounces of it prior to my first purchase.I noticed a markable change within the 1st week.. This supplement is easy to administer, I just mix it in my dogs dry food. She did not seem to like the taste clean, but it mixed into the food really well. I'm hoping great improves very little ones. She has been on it for about a week now and I haven't noticed much difference, but I am hoping that it will change. My 10 year old cat was literally dying because she could not eat and was getting too weak to drink. She was getting palliative, hospice type care but I didn't want her to starve to death. I searched for high calorie nutritionally sound feline supplemental food that required the smallest amount to compensate for her lack of eating. I came across this and decided to give it a try. I take care of feral cats and I Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) them in order to decrease the cat population in my neighborhood. When spaying a female cat, you have to keep them for at least 4 days for them to appropriately heal and have the affects of the anesthesia to wear off completely. One of the ferals that I trapped was a skin-and-bones female that was really too young to be having the kitten she was towing around with her. So I trapped her and her only surviving female kitten, had them both fixed and proceeded to "Fatten them up" and have them heal completely. "Under the Weather" Ready-Cal was the perfect supplement to give to both mamma and baby while they healed. I kept mamma in my care for one month because she was so pathetically thin. In that month, Mamma's coat changed from a rusty brown to a glossy black. She gained weight to where you could no longer feel her ribs poking through her fur. She did not like indoor life AT ALL and could not be socialized or handled, so she was released back to her outdoor home. I continue to feed Mamma every day, even built her an outdoor heated shelter in my fenced in yard. She is very content now. She now loves people, but cannot be picked up off the ground or lifted, but allows petting and head scratches. As for her kitten, she socialized very well, is awesome at vet visits and handling, and doubled in size very quickly because of the added Ready-Cal supplement and gained weight at a rate of 1lb/month. Her blood work came back from the vet as perfect. She was de-wormed, de-fleaed, and now is added to our family as a "foster-fail" which means that she is just too stinking cute to adopt out, so I kept her as part of our family. If I put their wet food down without the Ready-CAL supplement they sniff it as something is not quite right with the food. Once I apply it to the food, they lick the brown calorie-dense "goop" (as my husband calls it) off the top of the food first, then they dig into and eat the rest. Our elderly mini Schnauzer has become more anxious as she's aged. She reacts to smart phone alerts, loud people, quick movements, etc. Over the past 5 years, I've tried several CBD products and a prescribed medication from the vet. We rescued our third Dobie and she’s very anxious. We’re trying not to put her on prescription medications, if possible, so we decided by recommendation from other club members to try this first. I’ve definitely noticed it works to an extent a period of time. It’s progress, so I’m happy. I just want to make sure that she’s happy and not too anxious whenever it thunders or we have to leave her alone, but that is rare. I would recommend trying this for your dogs if they’re having these issues too. It’s easily available, but I ordered it on Amazon so I received it quickly and got points for my purchase. My dog simba was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico. Then he lived in a rescue for a while. New stimulus can make him super anxious. I was hoping this would be the product to make exposure to these stimuli less frightening.I was so excited to receive my first bag, I ripped it open and went directly to Simba. The excitement stopped there. First off, my dog didn't want to eat the treats as a treat. He refused to eat it alone. I had to hide it in his food. After eating it he became super lethargic with no other symptoms that I had noticed at the time. So thinking the treat was working too well, the next day I halved the recommended dosing for his weight. Later that day I noticed hives and a large nasty rash that spans over his entire back. My baby has never had issues with allergic reactions but something in this product triggered it. This was the only new addition to his routine and environment. It's been a few days since the discontinuation of the product in conjunction with antihistamines and antibiotics and his skin hasn't fully recovered nor his energy. He's better but not fully back to normal. Thankfully he's fine but I obviously won't be continuing use of the treats.Sarah

I've been monitoring my 13 year old Border Collie mix's kidney values for about two years now. Originally, her values were only a little above normal, and went back to normal when I put her on a veterinary kidney diet (Hills K/D). About 6 months ago, her appetite decreased and repeat bloodwork indicated the values had gone up considerably. After a couple days on iv fluids to flush her out, she perked up some but was not nearly her normal self. We started her on Epikatin, which helped a bit but her phosphorus levels were still way too high, and her appetite was terrible. I ordered the Phos-Bind and within two weeks (I think) her appetite improved, and repeat blood tests have been better—BUN and Creatinine are still above normal (but not horribly so) but the phosphorus level is back to normal. My cat Blaze is 16 years old and in kidney failure, my vet gave me a liquid to dispense twice a day. What a nightmare that was. She hated it and would cringe every time I came near her and I could not consistently give her the right doses a day. There is no scoop in the jar, so I called up the company and the girl that answered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. 1/8 of 1/4 teaspoon twice a day. I broke up a 1/4 teaspoon into 8 parts to get an idea of what her dose would be a day and sprinkle (from a salt shaker) a little on her food, mashing it in the food each time she eats which is now around 4x's a day, she does not seem to notice or mind it in her food. I have not been able to take her to the vet yet to see how her numbers are in her blood work, so I cannot give product a "effective" rating at this time, but surely would recommend this to anyone with a cat in renal failure. I am very happy to see her eating well again, grooming herself and not vomiting every other day. I have noticed she is a little constipated but that could be from her thyroid pills or hair from her grooming herself again, but I give her some baby pumpkin food which she loves and it seems to help her go. The price is very reasonable, I bought the smaller jar which it looks like will last a long time as the amount given each day is minimal.booperj

I used this product on my 19 year old Chihuahua mix…..his health had started to decline as part of aging & I did not take him to a vet for extreme action at his age. He had begun to drink much more water than usual so felt this might help with aging kidney dysfunction & it certainly seemed to do so. I would sprinkle it on his dog dish and put wet food on top of it…..no problem eating it that way. For two weeks, he was more active, happy & eating. Two days ago, his health began to decline again &, sadly, I had him euthanized yesterday as I felt he was also in pain…… As noted, this product did help keep him comfortable for a while, but aging was the primary factor in his demise. He was a personal rescue as I found him lying in the middle of a two land highway having been hit by a car – fortunately, a vet friend's practice was only 5 miles away & I took him there – no collar, full of fleas, & extremely thin. The vet surgically inserted a pin in his femur that had been snapped in two& estimated his age at 5. One of our dogs starting having a lot of accidents after she turned 10. We started implementing this into her diet and definitely have seen an improvement. Started this supplement after my vet friend recommended it. I don’t give it daily but when I notice my pup licking more down there I’ll throw it in for a few days and it seems to do the trick! Had a urinalysis done and he is infection free 🙂Madimz
