There are two things our dog loves: playing and balls. And he was so surprised to see that his Wicked Ball SE was asking to play with him! So now, every time we give him the ball, it’s a delight to see him so happy and having a good time. He already had a standard Wicked Ball, but it was too heavy and big for his size (Welsh Corgi), now he can easily hold the Wicked Ball SE in his mouth and carry it around the house! One thing to keep in mind, as our dog likes to tear things apart, he sometimes manages to get the motor part to rotate inside the rubber outer shell, so, as the user manual states, we always keep an distant eye on him when he plays, and when he does get the motor to rotate, it’s fairly easy to get it back in its spot. We’re so happy to see our dog enjoy his new ball so much, so kudos to Cheerble to have come up with a new version of this product, it really is suited to smaller dogs 😉Charles
We already had an old cheerble but my dog destroyed it pretty quickly with his strong jaw. We weren't able to open it anymore to charge it so it didn't last long. The new SE model is way better for my basset hound. The size is more convenient for him, he loves chasing it and throwing it away, that's really fun to watch. Usually, he's not much of a player but this one keep him busy for a while. The material seems stronger as he hasn't broke it already (even though he manage to turn the inside somehow so not sure how it will age). We'll see how long it last this time. My miniature dachshund loved the ball, but as he does with all balls, he's not interested in chasing or letting it roll around. He pins it down and likes to chew on it- he absolutely adores rubber. He likes to try and pick at bits that give purchase and whilst the ball itself only received surface dents from his teeth, he actually succeeded in spinning the plastic around inside the rubber… How, I'm not sure, but it's now an egg with a gap where the plastic normally fills. Maybe I can try and re-spin it to make it usable again, but unfortunately as much as he loves it, it's not something I can leave him alone with. Heavily dependant on your dog's breed and fixation patterns. Alas, not suitable for mine, I think. First of all, making a four star review required to get some bonuses for future purchase is very unfair to the other customers. For me this seems like buying good reviews. Now, the product is not bad, although my cat usually spends the majority of time just following and observing the ball, not playing with it. I think that's because the ball is rather hard, if it would be more soft and fluffy, it might be more fun for the cat to get its nails in it and it would make less noise when banging around the house. I should mention that my cat is extremely active and plays a lot, that's why I bought this, because sometimes I just can't play with her and need to give her a distraction during zoom meetings and so on. But I've noticed the same thing with other toy balls from the pet stores, if it doesn't have enough softness for the cat to lay it's nails in it or bite it – it's not that interesting to play with. I would recommend to try it if your cat is active and really likes to play. But if yours has a more calm and passive personality this may not receive that much of an interest.Ugnius M.
I just like the fact that you can fire this thing up, let it go, and the kitten is entertained for the next couple hours – leaving me to do my own thing. It has several "modes", and they might as well call it "Carpet" and "Hardwood" modes. One is super aggressive, and reacts whenever the cat touches it. Cat loves it, but it makes a TON of noise on our hardwood floors that drive me and the wife crazy. The more tame mode, it just auto-rolls and changes directions, pauses, shakes a bit, and then continues to auto roll. This is MUCH more tolerable, and the cat likes to chase/follow it around the room. Only negatives I can say, is it has a penchant for getting stuck on things. It honestly doesn't have a lot of torque, so once momentum carries it over a speaker wire in the edge of the room, or just barely fits under the couch, it gets stuck and can't get enough speed to re-clear the obstacle. Other negative is the plastic cap that hides the USB port was held on by a very tiny and fragile piece of rubber, which promptly broke in the first day. I was looking for something that would keep my kitty’s attention off the fact no one was home (she gets really upset ). I looked around at many options, but wanted to find something that would keep her attention, always changed, and kept her active and not sitting in one spot or sleeping. This was the perfect solution! It’s different every time, changing directions, has a time-out mode, so it keeps her guessing, and is fast enough for her to chase after. I use mine on hard floors on the calmest setting, so I can’t attest to how well it does on carpet, but I imagine the more aggressive settings would help it bounce and move more on that. My only complaint is that the ring it travels on is a hard plastic, so when it really gets that momentum going, it BANGS on every baseboard or appliance…nothing gentle or quiet about it. When it’s rolling, it’s quiet, though. Maybe thing of some sort of buffer or softer lining? I usually turn this on when I go to work and can imagine my downstairs neighbors love the sporadic CRACK sounds above them. Other than that, battery lasts 4 to 8 hours. Highly recommend.Alexandra

Sending this back. Was excited to see my dog play with this. I knew by reading some reviews that I would need to teach her how to drop the balls in the machine. It work great for the first few minutes , then it stopped working. I unplugged it and waited thinking maybe it needed to reset but no. I think the our little dog is training my partner. They are both having lots of fun. She is no longer bored and is so much fitter and happier. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. The Red/Yellow ball is animal sound based – the Blue ball is human voice based – at time of writing a recordable Babble is not available (Dec '17). Medium size is good for a 20kg 45lb collie* – the large is possible for them* but it slows/curtails the fun somewhat. Given as a gift to a curious & active dog I would expect happy mayhem as a result – once assured that the toy is SAFE and THEIRS you should be good to sit back and let them play. Caution – under certain circumstances obsessive behaviour may develop, so sharing may take time/care and chewing has to be watched for but because the product is strong you won't have to panic. WHEN YOU CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE – GIVE IT A CLEAN AND POP IT IN THE FRIDGE DOOR…. Really it works on a whole new level and might just turn into a long-term sillyness that you all enjoy. P.S. My dogs love it and don't like to share it but I had a two problems with it. It worked one day then would only "talk" for a second and then stop, I read someone else comment about taking out a battery. I didn't understand that until i opened it up and saw that it had 3 batteries. I did what they did and took out 1 of the 3, now it works great without glitching. The other problem I had with it was that the size i bought for my small dogs have ridges on it and my dogs love to chew on those ridges. they open their mouths wide and check one ridge with their top teeth and another ridge with their bottom teeth and clamp down, which ends up marring all the ridges in between. I'm scared they will break or chip their teeth. I finally took a thick sock and doubled back the sock so it was 2x as thick and put the ball in there. they still try to chew but it's harder to get the ridges and it's also easier for them to pick it up. It also make the toy quieter which i like.Dee

Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. The dog has learned to propel the ball with his feet like in soccer ,all the while barking with every gobble – giggle noise the ball makes when rolled along.Dog seems to like it .Thanks!Elf CAS
I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. The concept for this toy is spot on and I would give it a positive review for a smaller dog or a breed that is not a strong chewer.pompano01-us
My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. We got her one when she was just a puppy and it’s been her favorite toy since. She’s had it about 6 months and has destroyed it. I don’t mind buying one every six months because I get my money’s worth. Last night I went to buy her a new one, thinking she will have it another 6 months. WRONG. I got home, gave it to her (8 month old lab mix puppy) and she took it and had it chewed apart in about 30 minutes. They must have gotten cheap and changed material. NOT HAPPY!!BBB Customer

This ball came and looked like a plastic hard ball from the dollar store. Very disappointed. It's not a dog toy material. Our dog roughed up and chewed the outside in 15 minutes. I bought this toy for my little french bull dogs first birthday. Seeing it capabilities online I was immediately impressed and intrigued with self play and the balls ability to get out from under areas the dog might have trouble with since my girlfriend is in her studies from home and her work is constantly interrupted from our dog whining about a ball trapped under somewhere. This product seemed to be perfect. I ordered it. Within a week I see cheerble is now advertising a new version of the ball, felt like I missed out on a new improved design but was eager to see what the wicked ball W1 still had to offer. The ball showed up two weeks after and both my pet and I were excited. I got it out of the packaging read the manual and gave it to my French bull dog eager to play. She immediately took to it and could tell she was obsessed. This seemed all too good to be true. And it was…. In less than ten minutes our Frenchie had managed to get the clear plastic ring from the centre apart from the shell and dismantle the shell….maybe I should have got a replacement one but don't believe I should have to pay $10 to give my dog 10minutes of play… That is not sustainable living… Not for us anyways… Perhaps the new design is more durable but after spending $60+ for a ball after tax and shipping that couldn't withstand a 25lb pup I'm not to eager to dish it out again…. This ball was amazing at first. First day I used it my frenchie was obsessed however 10 mins in, I notice a piece was already broken off. Customer support was super nice and sent me a new shell with no problem, however when it arrived and I went to use it again, the shell wouldn’t close fully so it wouldn’t work. Like it was always lose fitting and after 10 seconds of playing, the shell was fully open. I got the shell to my apartment at school so by the time I was able to give it to my dog was about a month after I had received it so I never put in another request for a new one as I had no way to prove that it didn’t work since day 1. I’m hoping I was just unlucky as this was an amazing idea for a product that I loved when it did work, I’m just sad I spent so so much money for it to not work on me twice. With new balls, and a new machine, the product is exactly as advertised. After 10 minutes of fetch, the ball is too wet to throw as expected. The ball gets dirty, and the machine does too, creating a muddy internal process. The balls sent with the machine were subpar quality, and lasted about 25 throws a piece before they were starting to come apart. The machine doesn't adjust for ball sizes, so as a tennis ball wears down, the machine can't grab it, and forget about a tennis ball without it's hairy skin, they are too small by far. It's charging good, and working well if I keep putting new tennis balls in it, and run a towel through it, (although that's hard to do.) I suggest a manual adjustment be added to future products, to change the distance between the wheels that grab the ball. I think a tiny tweak on my machine would allow it to through hard rubber balls that wouldn't get nearly as dirty or wet, and keep the machine cleaner. Overall, I think the product is good, but is flawed in design. If there were just a few more capacities to make it work in the field and with different ball sizes, I think it's be a very strong product.Adam T.

Machine is constantly noisy which my dog does not like. It does not launch the balls very far at all (not even half the length of my yard). The sound it makes before launching a ball which is supposed to be the warning is lower than the sound the machine constantly makes. No timer which would help (just a slow to fast turn dial that doesn't make a huge difference).

I have a 3 yr old German Shepherd. She is very smart and I had been looking at treat puzzles for her. I wasn't sure about them but I ran across this one. Since it was QVC and the price was right, I decided to give this one a try. It is very well made, very sturdy. There are two things our dog loves: playing and balls. And he was so surprised to see that his Wicked Ball SE was asking to play with him! So now, every time we give him the ball, it’s a delight to see him so happy and having a good time. He already had a standard Wicked Ball, but it was too heavy and big for his size (Welsh Corgi), now he can easily hold the Wicked Ball SE in his mouth and carry it around the house! One thing to keep in mind, as our dog likes to tear things apart, he sometimes manages to get the motor part to rotate inside the rubber outer shell, so, as the user manual states, we always keep an distant eye on him when he plays, and when he does get the motor to rotate, it’s fairly easy to get it back in its spot. We’re so happy to see our dog enjoy his new ball so much, so kudos to Cheerble to have come up with a new version of this product, it really is suited to smaller dogs 😉Charles
We already had an old cheerble but my dog destroyed it pretty quickly with his strong jaw. We weren't able to open it anymore to charge it so it didn't last long. The new SE model is way better for my basset hound. The size is more convenient for him, he loves chasing it and throwing it away, that's really fun to watch. Usually, he's not much of a player but this one keep him busy for a while. The material seems stronger as he hasn't broke it already (even though he manage to turn the inside somehow so not sure how it will age). We'll see how long it last this time. My miniature dachshund loved the ball, but as he does with all balls, he's not interested in chasing or letting it roll around. He pins it down and likes to chew on it- he absolutely adores rubber. He likes to try and pick at bits that give purchase and whilst the ball itself only received surface dents from his teeth, he actually succeeded in spinning the plastic around inside the rubber… How, I'm not sure, but it's now an egg with a gap where the plastic normally fills. Maybe I can try and re-spin it to make it usable again, but unfortunately as much as he loves it, it's not something I can leave him alone with. Heavily dependant on your dog's breed and fixation patterns. Alas, not suitable for mine, I think. Great product and a great idea otherwise, but I'd be interested to hear which dogs just let it roll around!John S.
