I have been purchasing Beneful for at least 4 years, if memory serves. After receiving some coupons in our newspaper, I decided to purchase Beneful to see if one of my older dogs would have less digestion problems. Logan loves every flavor that Beneful makes! He especially loves his veggies, barley, and rice. These items are very imprtant to Logan's health because they keep him regular. Like older adults, older dogs need dietary items that are good and good for them. Logan likes the Beneful dry also, but he does better on Beneful Wet foods. Our Vet says that even though Logan has been mistreated to the point that he has his digestion problems, Beneful is the best food for him and his 14 yr old system. He still likes his fresh salmon, wild rice, carrots and brussel sprouts he gets every other Sunday, but he's just as happy with his Beneful Chopped Beef and Chopped Salmon to name a couple. 🐕🐩🐶🍖🐾 I have a little pomeranian that is very picky! He's a much older dog who has cataracts and isn't very active. He was a rescue dog when I got him he already had all his ailments. I really like that this food is mostly soft even though it is considered dry dog food. I also like that you could see the vegetables in the food as well! Gus really seem to enjoy this food which was surprising given how picky he actually is! At a good price point and it it looks good! After spending so much money on Purina Pro Plan because Golden shouldn’t be on grain free due to developing heart issues, he would turn his nose up at the Chicken and Salmon flavors we bought. We then tried Science Diet then back to Purina all the while wasting so much food and $. Finally I remembered my brother fed his 16.5 year old Dalmatian Beneful her entire life and she did so well on it. So I just picked up a bag of Salmon Beneful and our boy scarfed it up, wanting more. I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms. I bought these just a few weeks before July 4th since the firecrackers were already starting to explode in our neighborhood and my male grey refused to walk after hearing pops and getting spooked. I got 2 in XL: one in Camo with orange stripes and the sport in platinum which has a quilted weave and feels thicker so I could see if they had any preference since they both fit on either dog (they like them both). Just followed the directions for wrapping the shirts and it seemed to instantly calm my girl down to the point where she doesn’t want to take it off though eventually she lets me. I’m not sure it helps my male so much since it’s gotten so hot out that I won’t add an extra layer on them in this heat and cause them to have heat stroke but I put it on them during stormy weather and they both really like wearing the shirts which surprised me so I think he likes it too. My "little" guy has a life long issue with loud noises that began about eight years ago when he was eleven weeks old and we ventured out in between thunder showers with his mom and dad. Suddenly a stray lightning bolt hit missed us by only a few yards and the accompanying explosive noise terrified my three dogs and myself. The dogs went howling into the house and you can imagine the impact that experience had on a very young pup. I did everything I could think of to acclimate Yulee to sudden loud noises but nothing seemed to work as well as the ThunderShirt we purchased on the Amazon site. He's not as frightened of approaching thunder boomers as he is by gun fire or fireworks probably because he can gradually get into a more relaxed state with advancing storms. Now we also have time to prepare him for the thunder claps and we're relieved that he apparently finds the ThunderShirt comforting. He also likes to have time to curl up in secluded spot where he probably doesn't feel as exposed to any inherent danger – (see the third image). You can tell he's starting to feel threatened in the middle shot where his tail is tucked under his rear and the noise from today's thunderstorms is getting increasingly louder. The only reason the ThunderShirt didn't earn 5 stars from me is that at a svelte145 pounds Yulee was squeezed too much for our liking by the largest size (XXL) offered. We wrapped him in it without over tightening the material to make it uncomfortable while still affording him the gentle pressure and protective aspect of security. The fabric of the ThunderShirt Sport is a lightweight polyester which I felt might be lighter and more breathable than the other models with a poly, spandex and rayon blend. With all the fur this guy has he doesn't need any additional warmth. The shirt is extremely well constructed with ample velcro closure tabs which do a great job for getting the ultimate fit required…if only he was a bit smaller…Vic

This is a really cute puppy and a really cute idea but I do think it needs a longer leash attached to it because the puppy can't take more than a few steps before the child has to take steps just to keep up with it. I like how it has only two buttons which makes it very simple for a small young child but the button that makes it walk didn't always work on ours. Sometimes you had to push it 2 or 3 times before it would start to walk, but the button that makes it bark and wag its tail works every time and it was so adorable. If it was just a little more realistic I might have considered trading my (real) puppy in for it LOL. At least I don't have to feed this one or take It outside to potty and clean up after its messes. I really do like this puppy and I hope that it comes in more color variations so that kids can pick whichever puppy they like the best instead of having only one to choose from. The kids really liked it but my real puppy was unsure what to make of it. I think it should also come with some kind of brush or comb so that kids can practice grooming the animal as well. That may give them a little something to do when the parents are tired of hearing the barking, yapping and tail wagging. All in all I do recommend this puppy for young children. I have a 2 year old, 4 year old, and 5 1/2 year old. They all love this furry puppy friend. Even the 2 year old can make the buttons work. He's tough enough to handle their play so far. He's soft. And he's a decent size although not large. However, there are two concerns. 1) He is attached to the controller by a thin plastic leash. When the kids fight over him there is a tendency for one kid to pull the controller and the other the dog. So far he has not come apart and I stop them doing this as soon as it starts. But I wonder how many times that could happen before something comes apart and he can no longer be used. 2) We curves to the right quite a bit when he walks. He does not walk in a straight line but veers to the right. This makes it inconvenient to follow after him. I don't know if this is intended, for him to make a large roughly 5 foot circle, or if ours is defective. I'd rather him go in a straight line. Other than that, he's a decent toy and the kids love him. He isn't super loud, but his bark can get annoying and is easily heard, but that's much like any other kid toy that they play with non-stop.Amy

I bought Purina dog chow little bites about a couple days ago and ever since I started feeding my dog that she has been sick in her feces ive noticed certain material in it that looked like oats but also shavings of hair I have never seen her this way and was wondering what it was finally I was Prepping her food for today and I noticed while mixing her food the purina brand had the same substances inside my dog feces aswell as the little hairs there was a bunch of little hairs inside the pebble and found this all through out the pebble. I recently changed my dog over from a purina food that shes been on fir many years to Hills science diet Age defying dry dog food. I folliwed my vets instructions and slowly weaned my dog over. We went threw the first 2 bags with now problem. By the time we got 3 bags in she was eating just the Hills Science Diet. When i purchased and first opened bag #3 to feed my dog she sid not eat rite away. This is Highly unlike my pup who normally gobbles all down in seconds. Eventually though, she ate the food and i didnt think much more. In the next 24 hours soft stool started. This continued for 2 days befor turning ti bloody stool. An abrubt visit to the vet uncovered no real answer other than obvious vissous diarrhea. They reccomended a bland diet of white rice and boiled chicken and perscribed and anti-inflammatory/anti diarrghea medication and reccomended possible emergency vet visit if not improved in the coming days. I took my do off the Hills food and instantly she seemed to improove. After finihing the medication from the vet they reccomended slowly weaning off the chicken &rice back onto her normal diet. So i added a small bit if the Hills bag of food that we had (bag #3) and back came the issue. Back to the vet, more test…no conclusion. Stoped and went back to chicken and rice and Improvement again! Finially decided ti go back and get a bag if our old purina dog food and stated trying to wean from chicken and rice to this dry dog food….success! Vet concluded all signs lead to this bag of Hills Science diet was the ussue…..you must recall!!!!save your animals people!! DDONT FEED

However, she pulled while we were walking yesterday and the straps snapped. She ran into the street, but thankfully no vehicles were nearby. The straps are flimsy and will not stand up to a quick pull. My pup is very petite, and I still can't believe how easily the straps ripped. I can't recommend this at all. I've had this harness for maybe 4 months now and at first I loved it, besides the plastic loops…they make me nervous that they're going to snap because my dog is a puller. On our normal walks this harness has been fine because my dog does pull so she is almost always in front of me. Today we went to the park and she wrapped the leash around a pole and was able to very easily pull her way out of it. Thankfully there were no other dogs around and I was able to catch her within a few minutes but my dog is dog reactive so this would have been an absolute disaster if there were other dogs around. Started getting this for my little old man when he had a bad bout of arthritis, because he refuses to take his pills and it is easier to sneak them into soft food. He's all. better now. But refusing to go back to his kibble. He gets excited when I tell him it is dinner time now, and runs around my legs until I put his food down for him. Our 15 year old dachshund has been having trouble with doggie dementia, lethargy and continence. I switched her to Youthful Vitality about a little over a year ago. I am really pleased. Her bladder control has improved to the point that she no longer requires diapers. Her cognitive abilities may have improved a little but I'm not positive. What I am positive about is that she has not gotten worse. For me that's a win because she was going downhill quickly. She is still relatively lethargic most of the time but I do notice that she is pretty frisky after a long rest. She has even played with me a couple of times and yesterday she ran around the entire house while out for a potty break. It did take a little while to see the improvements but that is to be expected. – Also, the food tastes great! Our younger dog, who is on joint food, tries to steal it from her! I am an employee of Hill's and love and highly recommend this food for senior pets.

My dog is older now and I notice that he's put on some weight. I decided that I wanted to get him eating better food on a regular schedule. I went to my pet store and planned on getting a small bag of the weight management formula but seen a $7 off coupon of the Youthful Vitality so I scooped that bag right up! My dog took to the food right away and I have more trouble with him getting on a schedule than I do with getting him to eat the food. It's been about a month now and he has shed some pounds and is still happy with the food. He always looks forward to feeding time! My dog is a Lhasa Apso, I get him the large breed option. The pieces of food are the perfect size for him, they are not very big at all but I feel that he would scarf down the small breed option. The velcro closure on the packaging is awesome! I buy the small bags and I do wish that the opening was a bit wider. I have small hands so it isn't much of an issue but much bigger it would be more difficult to maneuver the scoop without spilling. I'm hoping to stick with this food but it is pricey and that may deter me from sticking with it later on. All in all my dog and I are very happy with this food. He has lost some weight and there is an extra skip in his step these days!

I put my dog on this food when it first came out. My dog started acting like a puppy again and would play with her toys that she hadn't touched since she was under a year. As the years went on, I saw more of a difference every year like she was getting younger. She plays with her toys now and runs around the house and is super happy. She always acted like an old lady but after having her on this food, she acts like a 10 month old puppy. I am sad that I can longer find this food in stores. I can only buy it online.

I have been using Flexi leads for a long time (maybe 17+ years now) and love their durability and functionality. The brake button can stop a charging dog without worry that the lead will break. Not a huge fan of the way the handle has been redesigned as it makes it tougher to hold two leads in one hand, but I really like the multi-box and accessories attachment point they added with the redesign.Marwello Terriers

Love these kits. I have the small kit that I keep in my truck at all times and then a larger kit that I always have with me when on big hikes as well as in my off-grid camping trailer. With 3 dogs, all of which have health issues (and are magnets for trouble) this is a must. The only thing I wish was different was I wish these bags were insulated and a little bigger to leave space for meds that you may need/want to add for your specific pup. I have to carry some meds for all three of my monsters and in the summer it gets crazy hot. Having insulation to keep them more temperature-controlled would be a nice addition.FifinellaCA

Nice kit to have when I take my dog on hikes with me. But…. discovered that the hydrogen peroxide packet leaked and ruined everything else in the kit. The leak proof bag kept everything inside safe from the elements but not from itself! Will replace some of the contents but not the peroxide. Very disappointing.Paul

I received this product a couple of weeks ago and it has came in handy for our camping gear. I have three adventurous dogs who love the outdoors. I have had to rig up bandages and gear for them but this is so much better. Each product in this kit is well thought out for what you may need for a camping or hiking trip with your dogs. I may not need all of it at once but it gives me peace of mind knowing that it is right there at the ready if I do need it. Each product seems durable which is necessary with these type of items. The bag also comes in handy to store everything and keep it in a safe place that is also easily accessible. It is pretty light and has handles which makes it nice for clipping on to my dogs hiking vest. I am also pleased with the first aid handbook because sometimes I am not sure what to do in certain instances. Overall, this product is great if you are active with your dogs and is easy to just keep in the car.ccbell94
