My big guy isn't exactly what you might call graceful. He's a dork. A giant clumsy dork. So little aches and pains are just a part of our life together. I'm taking ibuprofen because he's nearly pulled my shoulder out of socket after trying to run and hide from the wind and he's taking his doggy aspirin because he tripped over his own feet while running and now yelps every step he takes. These really do help. They're easy to give wrapped in a little bread or dipped in peanut butter. Sorry not a review but a question. Sounds like this works well but I have a horrible time keeping my Shepard from licking his wounds. My dog broke his back just behind his front legs. We opted for home care and eventually chiropractic. The chiropractor recommended Pain Plus. My Jack doesn't mind taking them…BUT…he chooses the dosage! When I see him being stiff I offer a whole one and if he doesn't take it, I break it in half and offer him half. If he doesn't want that I break into a quarter. It is a convenient way to know about his pain level. My only complaint is that the pills are a little hard to break.Lali Tigertoes
My dog is a rescue, approx. 13 years old & 68 lbs. He has been with us for 10 1/2 years. About two years ago he was diagnosed with Wobblers syndrome. He has been prescribed pain meds which have a lot of side negative effects. I tried the Pain Plus and was really surprised. It is very effective. Sometimes he only needs 1/2. I first bought this product thinking it was a glucosamine supplement, but it turned out to be better than expected. It is good for the daily aches and has glucosamine. I am not giving it 5 stars becuase it is misleading about how much needs to be used per lb of dog and so it used up much more quickly.Beckah

I have been using Dasuquin MSM in the hard pill form for over a year now for my almost 15 year old, 88 pound Airedale – Standard Poodle mix. I have been very impressed with the improved mobility my dog has/is experienced/ing. I decided to try the soft chew, but was a bit nervous given another reviewers comment that they were too large and his dog would not touch them. I called and spoke to 1-800-PETMEDS and the person I talked to told me that I could return the product for a full refund if my dog doesn't like them. So I decided to try. He loves them! And eats them as if they are treats. No having to disguise them in cheese or peanut butter. Yay! For what ever it is worth, I've tried with and without MSM and my dog has a better outcome *with MSM*. I have been giving Nutramax Dauquin Soft Chews for Small Dogs to my 11 year old Maltese dog, Molly, for over 2 years. It has absolutely changed her life. I have two 18 month old dogs they are Australian Shepherd and heeler mix and I have had them since they were 4 weeks old. My little girl recently started showing signs of hip issues and I was concerned enough to research options that are non surgical to see if it would help. I did worry because they are both very picky and have sensitive tummies. She absolutely loves these. (So she's her brother) They both know 1st thing in the AM it is time and will go sit at the counter waiting even before I get there. I have 2 senior cockapoos. One has IVDD (disc disease in his back) and the other has suffered with joint pain on and off in her paws, pretty much her whole life. Since taking this supplement, both dogs have shown improvement. The one with the joint problems in her paws has not limped at all since we started these a few years ago. My newf has had problems with her back legs for over a year now. On a Facebook group for Newfoundland dog owners someone suggested green lipped muscles as a supplement. Also ancient grains. Upon doing research I came across zesty paws. The products that this company offers has helped my newf, she is still stiff upon getting up but the limp is gone.
