Arrived quickly. Easy to set up. Very light. Some small pieces might blow away with heavy wind, like the screw covers on roof and the side panel that only holds shut with two flimsy removable tabs. I love how you get to write your doll's pet's name on the calk part, which makes it very realist compared to a real doghouse. The food and water bowl part is really cute and I love how it comes with a collar, in case you loose a collar for the pet. I love the balls and chew toys and most of all the dog bone, which is really cute and very realistic, once again.The rope toy is cute, too. I also like the bed a lot, though small, I love how colorful it is. I love the house itself, even though it's pretty small for all the things that the set comes with. From the time we opened this until bed time, my daughter didn’t stop playing with this. She even took it outside with her to play with. It was fun for her to use this with her dogs, and other little animal toys she had. Some pieces are on the smaller side so keep this in mind when buying for younger kids! This dog house is much larger than I thought and for the price totally worth it! OG has added some great thoughtful accessories to this dog house; including the newspaper. I like that you can open the one flap for easier play. This is very helpful for children with younger siblings that want to join in on the play. They can easily access the puppies being placed inside and enjoy the fun. Be careful with younger children as many of the puppy items are small and could be a choking hazard for the hand to mouth little ones. I receive the item and the box was in good condition. Upon opening the item there were 8 pieces. 4 walls, the top and 3 pieces that make up the floor. 3 of the 4 walls were split by screws that were inserted on the pre-fabricated panels. I took pieces and sent them to customer service. I believe this was done before being boxed up to ship. Although I was offered a discount for the damaged item I don't believe it would last as the floor did not attach but rested on the ledge of the sides. When my dog stepped into the dog house the first time 1 of the 3 pieces that make up the floor flipped up. It is nice looking but the wood is very cheap. I would not recommend buying.Unhappy Customer

I expected better of this outdoor doghouse, especially for the price. It is made of "fir wood" which isn't a hardwood at all. Pine would have been sturdier. Assembly was easy but the house itself flimsy, with several of the pre-fab section not even nailed or glued together, and some pieces with parts of the wood broken off. Even in the "giant" size it was barely large enough for a 90lb GSD. The feet were plastic and the floor slated wood were the elements can creep through. This house is advertised as ideal for outdoor use – but I wouldn't trust it during a New England winter. It was sent back immediately. I would NOT recommend this manufacturer for outdoor dog houses. For less money you could build a better one out of more durable wood.Razor

I just opened my Small size Precision Pet Extreme Log Cabin doghouse today to assemble. It looks like it will assemble pretty well, although one of the sides is 3/16" out of square. Because the panels are firmly glued and screwed together it will require some adjustment/trimming to assemble correctly instead of attempting to break the glue joints and true it up. Obviously a rush job by the factory in Wuhan. The roof shingles do appear to be very well sealed and bonded together, however there are a few spots on the edges of the composition shingles on the roof where bare wood can be seen at the edges, which would allow water to get into the roof frame, so those spots will have to be sealed. The three piece floor has 1/8" gaps between the slats, so if you want the animal occupying the box to be comfortable when it is cold and windy, you will have to do some modification to the floor, which I plan on doing. The statement that the box is waterproof and weather resistant is a stretch. The stain/preservative used on all of the wood surface is so thin that pouring any water at all on the wood surface disappears as the wood instantly absorbs it. I will not put the box in service until at least 2 coats of a high quality exterior grade paint/stain is applied. If you try and use this box without putting a proper preservative coat on it, you might get one year of use out of it before it rots or suffers UV damage and cracks and splits. This doghouse is being re-purposed by me to be a Barn Owl nest box; the dimensions are almost perfect and as soon as I saw it I realized that it could be used for quick installation during the brief annual window between December to January during which Barn Owls are NOT in their box. All I really have to do is put an insert into the door to reduce the opening size, add a perch/balcony outside the opening, fix the floor, and of course, properly seal the wood so that it will last more than one season. My primary reason for paying the extra money for the "EXTREME" model was the feature description that said: Its stainless steel hardware also adds to its sturdiness. THIS IS A LIE! THE HARDWARE SUPPLIED IS NOT STAINLESS STEEL, so this is my major gripe. My guess is that China figures that most Americans can't tell the difference between stainless and non-stainless steel. I'm a retired engineer, and you can almost always identify stainless/non-stainless steel by its color and appearance, although the surefire test is with a magnet. Regular steel will be strongly attracted by a magnet, if it is stainless steel, you might get a very slight attraction. This stuff is definitely normal steel with maybe a thin coat of zinc – not stainless steel. Absolutely rubbish. Very flimsy and came wrapped in just thin plastic wrapping with no padding whatsoever. As a result the floor was all broken and the roof fixing points were also broken. Returned it to a store for a refund, which I was given minus the £5 postage of paid. If only they'd used that £5 on decent packaging or a box then it might have survived better.Daz64

Got it for my 2 cats as a den to hide in when Mr Tom cat appears suddenly plus I like it ! They prefer the cardboard box it came in but sure they will get used to it, no screws supplied to secure the roof which clips on gently had to source my own and the vents I found impossible to clip in my partner eventually got them in ! Item received with large crack to base. ?from the delivery- but paid £5 for delivery so expect item not to be cracked. Bought to use as an outside cat shelter, it would not be big enough for a dog that was any larger than a cat! Looks quite flimsy (guess that’s why it was cracked) and it didn’t come with screws to secure the roof, not sure if it was meant to come with screws. Product looked great online, had all the features for our 2 small dogs (Corgi/Jack Russel mix – 20 lbs. each) to share a large size house. We also bought the insulation liner (great product as well). House was easy set-up with one screwdriver, pre-drilled holes lined up perfectly. All parts were pre-cut to the right specs, and very decent quality. The unit is very study when put together. We put one of their dog beds in for added comfort – they love it. It took less than a day before they had their sleeping and hanging out arrangements figured out, plenty of room for both. I purchased one of these after trying one of the hard plastic barn-type dog houses without success. Either my dogs didn't like the plastic, or were afraid of the smallish entry, so even though they are only 50 & 70 lbs, I went with the XL size. After getting them used to the dog house by tossing a few treats into the back of it, they seemed to not mind this one. A few days later, I heard a ruckus in the back yard, and upon investigation, I found that my dogs were fighting over who got to sit in the dog house, thus forcing me to purchase a second one just to keep them happy. I also placed an outdoor carpet square in each dog house for padding. This dog house is easy to assemble and looks nice. However, the floor pieces are not secured with screws so I can hear them rattling a little when the dogs climb in and out. Leaving the pieces as they are will allow me to turn the dog house on its side for easier access while cleaning, but I may just screw the floor pieces down anyway. Also, the packaging tends to leave the roof ridge cap vulnerable to breakage during shipping. Called the company for a free replacement and am waiting for the part to arrive.oblvios

These are nice dog houses. They are light weight & don't look like they are very warm, but they actually do a good job, my border collies like these a lot. The extra neck or tunnel entrance is nice to give them some extra protection and privacy. They stand up pretty well to puppies chewing on them to. I recommend this dog house.Iowafarmgal

I mistakenly bought the Large doghouse for dogs up to 90 lbs. But my 5 month old coonhound was too large for it. I returned it and ordered the X-large doghouse and it is the right size. Unfortunately, the doghouse was broken in two places, probably due to the way you ship. These doghouses are delivered without any protection and will crack or break when sliding into anything. I will have to repair it to hold it together since I don't trust you are able to send another one without the same issues.Daniel

I bought two CRBPalace dog houses. Each arrived in two large boxes and assembled quickly and easily with clear instructions. the only tool needed is a Phillips head screw driver. Our two adult Great Pyrenees both adapted quickly and were going in and out freely. At one point both of them were together in the same dog house. They now have a dry alternative if they should want shelter during a storm.Dave
