Let me prequalify this by saying that I am a fan of PetSafe Products. The Stay and Play Wireless fence and the Large Dog Citronella Anti-Bark Collars have worked flawlessly for my medium size indoor/outdoor pup. I also have a 1.5 year old Yorkie, and the PetSafe Elite Little Dog Spray Bark Control has design and operational flaws that I can't overlook: 1. The unit's sensor is not a typical rear sensor, and it doesn't pick-up normal barking unless it is high intensity (this is WHEN it works). 2. The unit does not last for the full amount of sprays. 3. The unit has to be at a high level of tightness to the point of almost choking the dog to remain in place in order to be correctly positioned to both pick-up the barking and deliver the spray. 4. The unit does not have an ON/OFF switch other than turning the battery, and then you have to manipulate even that when wanting to reset the bark counter. The bark counter should be reset in the electronics when the battery is removed if that's the case and reflect this in the refill directions for the spray. At the end of the day, I have use spray collars for my outdoor dog at my home for years, so I am familiar with the quirks. I have remained faithful to PetSafe, and they never let me down. The Elite Little Dog Spray collar is not up to their usually high standards. I have bought one, exchanged one, and bought another to give this product a fair chance, and I am heading to Petco this morning to return the last one as a disappointed customer. I have moved to an apartment from a home in the process of building a new house, so it is imperative that I be able to reinforce that excess barking is not acceptable. I suppose it will have to be with another product.PharmDrew

I bought two of these and neither of them worked. The first one worked for about a week of occasional use. Then it started leaking a steady, tiny hiss of spray from the intake hole. Months later, on a road trip w/now 2 small dogs I picked up 2 of the older, silver models that use the 6 volt batteries. They still work great (2 years later, intermittent use for overnights away from home or having exciting visitors that the dogs celebrate vocally, Enthusiastically, unceasingly. Also for occasional backyard relaxing if the neighbor kids get the dogs too excited.) I shared one with my sister for her dog on a hotel overnight and it was a revelation to her. I tried to buy her one but can only find the new “elites” with that proprietary battery so I caved, hoping the leaky one I had was a fluke. I got a few inconsistent sprays out of it, many barks without spray, then it just quit completely. I tried a new battery, refilled the spray and The lights did their thing correctly when I followed the steps to turn it on. Then I tested it by loudly barking right up against The back of it, tapping the back of it, holding it against my own throat and trying different tones of loud singing and yelling… nothing. I’ve wasted too much $ on the bad new design ones that don’t work. I really wish I could get another old silver model one to give my 4 legged niece. Obviously the requirement of a $15 proprietary battery makes this PetSafe’s preferred model to make, regardless of it’s consistent failure to function. Disappointing.JenMN

I excitedly bought this light because it's rechargeable. I've purchased other lights like this that aren't rechargeable and the battery doesn't last long, so I thought this was a great idea to reduce waste. The light itself is very bright and it's great for seeing my black dog. It does need to be charged every few days even though it was only being used for a couple hours at a time. There is no warning (ie fading) if the battery is low – it just turns off, so it's important to keep track of when the last time it was charged. It's really frustrating however that this light only worked for 2 weeks!! Eventhough it is fully charged, the light doesn't turn on at all. Really unfortunate that it only worked for two weeks. I've reached out to the customer service twice and have not heard back. Really poor experience.Michelle

I like these. They're clever little gizmos that shed a nice bright light. I clip one to my dog's harness and light it up when we're out at night, so I can keep track of her when she's off-leash and cyclists and motorists can see her when we're walking. The downside is that they don't last forever–they're just a little too fragile for all the jostling they get from being attached to a lively dog. So the current purchases are #3 and #4. #1 just went dead after a few months (yes, I put new batteries in it but it still won't light) and #2 will still light up after about a year of use, but it switches itself off after a few seconds. Still, they're inexpensive enough that it was worth getting new ones. I haven't found anything better for putting a light on my dog!Lauren

The light didnt cost much but you still expect it to work. Could not get the case to open at first. Finally got a kitchen paring knife and pried it open to detach the paper tab protecting the batteries. I could have cut myself. The instructions on the package were useless. Do you unscrew the light halves? Do you pry it open with something? Totally useless. After prying it open the front half of the case got a bit bent. Now it's almost useless. This is one of my go to toys for my girl in her early years of childhood(1-3 would suggest). I am an huge fan of the Mattel brand, Laugh Learn is one of my favorites that they offer. They have options for a girl boy puppy, which is super cool! I have purchased this for daughter when she was 9 months old. It is an engaging toy with sounds,lights,singing. Even an adult would have fun playing with this puppy, they are pretty easy to find in stores a good value. It sings the ABC’s upon the press of the foot or hand, definitely an teachable toy. Plus they last a really long time!! I would highly recommend this toy for any parent with younger kids ranging from 1-3 three years old. This is a soft, colourful, cute, educational and interactive puppy. Bought this for my 4 month old and he really enjoys it. He’s now 6 months and pressing the feet and hands. The levels on the yellow foot changes when held down. Do it grows with your little one. The tunes are catchy, and there is a variety of learning content and fun songs. The heart also lights up which grabs my baby’s attention. This would be great as a gift as it will last long as a toy. I highly recommend this puppy. Love it! One of the best toys we havesheena.c

This toy could spur the imagination. It’s the first toy he picks up. I think the intent is to be able to learn some of the colors and words associated with it, which it may work for with some kids, but he mostly just enjoyed the songs and lights, especially in bed at night where they were the brightest. However, he may be 6-8 months past the prime age for learning from this particular toy, since he already knows most of the body parts and colors. The design is really great and has lots of colors while still being tasteful and endearing. Quality, construction, and durability are all really great, and I imagine it will last for as long as we want it and then happily gift to another little one who will get years more out of it. Washing might be a concern, but the few things we have gotten on it have rubbed off with a mildly wet soapy cloth Usability is really good and the squeezable and interactive elements all activate reliably during use, so there is not much frustrating searching and poking to activate features. For YEARS I recommended these to everyone and anyone within ear shot. We breed, raise, train poodles and Bernese mountain dogs. These dogs can be anywhere from 1000-5000 a piece however the pain my family is feeling from this completely avoidable losses no amount can fix. We have not lost just one family member but seven senselessly. It wasn’t till a vet tech advised me in line at our Petco not to buy this product that this was what was making dogs sick! Our puppies and adults all dogs all wore these and experienced vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, spontaneous abortions, chemical burns and the worst death. My family’s heart is broken, it was to the to the point that we were drowning our pets medical bills. The pets in our house receive love in frequent Caresses', Brushings, Gardens for play and Special beds for sleep. Above ALL, they receive New Seresto Collars on Valentine's day each year ! Thus, they are protected throughout the year from those nasty ticks and fleas that would love to snuggle into their fur and pester the cats and dogs all season. Stopping our capture /neuter/release program of 35 years, didn't leave us free of cats. We three ranch wives found ourselves still with cats, after the "DUMPING" ceased. And, praying we outlive them ! We were fortunate in finding homes along the way, for kittens and adult cats that were eager to have forever homes. But, unfortunately, there are always the few that pass the "cute-adopt me" stage. Our ranch is currently "BLESSED" with 9, yes NINE varied aged, varied breed CATS – All of whom are loved dearly by all who share their lives. Oversight Subcommittee Report Reveals EPA Failed to Protect Pets, Owners From Dangerous Flea and Tick Collar

Washington, D.C. (June 15, 2022)—Today, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Economic and Consumer Policy, released a staff report entitled “Seresto Flea and Tick Collars: Examining Why a Product Linked to More than 2,500 Pet Deaths Remains on the Market,” which details the findings of the Subcommittee’s 16-month investigation into the safety of the Seresto flea and tick collar. The report reveals that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under previous administrations was aware of the dangers of the Seresto collar as early as 2015 and failed to take action to protect pets and their owners. Scientific experts, a former EPA official, and pet owners will testify about the dangers of the Seresto collar and the findings of the Subcommittee’s report at a hearing this afternoon.

“It is unacceptable that the EPA has been aware of the Seresto collar’s safety concerns for years and has continued to allow Americans to unknowingly put their pets in danger by using a product they have been led to believe is safe,” said Chairman Krishnamoorthi. “While I am pleased by the EPA’s new commitment to revisit the incident data, I urge the agency to initiate formal Notice of Intent to Cancel proceedings to determine whether the Seresto collar should be removed from the market, including a comprehensive cost-benefit review of its serious risks. Following the Subcommittee’s disturbing findings, I believe the EPA must expand its data collection standards and more strictly follow its scientific review process to ensure that dangerous products are not permitted to stay on the market and threaten the welfare of pets that so many Americans view as family.”

The Seresto flea and tick collar received EPA approval in 2012 and was introduced to the market in 2013. Since then, Bayer—the original brand owner of the collar—and Elanco—which purchased the product in 2020, have sold more than 30 million collars. Pet owners embraced the convenience of the product, which provides 8 months of flea and tick protection for dogs and cats for under $70, and which is widely sold by pet specialty stores, online pet pharmacies, and large online retailers.

The Subcommittee launched its investigation into the collars in March 2021, following the publication of an investigative report which revealed that, as of June 2020, there had been more than 75,000 incidents and approximately 1,700 pet deaths linked to the Seresto collar. Since then, the reported numbers have increased to more than 98,000 incidents and 2,500 pet deaths.

The Subcommittee reviewed emails from the EPA, as well as documents from Bayer and Elanco, that showed the EPA was aware of these incident numbers and the dangers caused by the collar yet failed to act. Documents and communications obtained by the Subcommittee reveal:

EPA Rushed Seresto’s Approval Through a Flawed Scientific Review Process: An EPA Risk Manager wrote in 2016 that the agency “rushed” the Seresto collar’s registration so that the CDC could use the collars in a study. The California Department of Pesticide Regulation found that key studies that tested the Seresto collar on adult dogs and cats were not acceptable because the studies “greatly under-estimated the exposures” to one of the collar’s active ingredients. I have a pup that is a large breed, he looks like I been feeding him steak and potatoes cause he's so dang big. He is ALL puppy though. Chews on everything loves running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Been trying to train him to chill with me, yeah, right. He wants to play. And because he wants to play, he wants to run every stinkin where. Decided, for my sanity as well as his safety, I'd get this thing. Put the flags out, set it on a low static charge, and it didn't take long before he figured it out. You DO have to WORK a dog with this. It's not just a plug it up and watch their hair shoot up when they get popped. Walked him around the perimeter for 7 days, he sees and sniffs the flags. I have a 2 yr old LARGE French Mastiff that weighs 180ish! I bought with the (red in color) “stubborn” collar. We previously installed a wired underground fence. (Which I have to mention took 2 FULL DAYS TO INSTALL AND READY TO USE!!) My Bo would realize he was close to the boundary, take a step or two back then take a run right through it, with no second thought!!! We watched him do this several times. I guess he was thinking, well this is going to hurt but only for a few short seconds. Idk?? But it did NOT phase him one bit! I had talked to 4 or 5 people that had this system, so reluctantly I decided to give it a try. I thought to myself well if it doesn’t work I will simply return it, no harm no foul. My boyfriend had it installed and collar on Bo in 30 mins flat. We walked ole hard-headed Bo around maybe 4 times to show him the boundaries. Once he heard the beeping, he kept walking then he felt the shock 1 time and that must have been enough because he never ventured close again! It has been about 2 months of use and I would give it 100 STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION! We live in a subdivision where houses are fairly close. I was ultimately worried that the zone would lead into the neighboring yard. (which was the #1 thing we are trying to prevent) And although it may, Bo doesn’t even attempt to go that far. I believe he now understands to stay in his own yard! Living in a subdivision, many people take walks and Bo just sits and watches them now!! Matter of fact, just to see, we have sent him outside WITHOUT the collar and ironically enough HE STAYS IN OUR YARD!! The ONLY complaint I have is the small clear piece on the collar broke off the first time I went to adjust the strength of the shock. So far it hasn’t effected anything so fingers crossed on that! Just an FYI, we set ours on a level 3 to begin with and my boyfriend was ready to give up, so I told him to have some patience and we just kept adjusting the level on the collar and we ended up discovering for Bo he needed to be set on a #6. Again, I repeat he weighs 180 lbs, and the Mastiff bread is KNOWN for their stubbornness. I would suggest starting at the lowest level for a smaller dog PLEASE! I ordered 4 Spypoint Micro LTE cameras and only 3 of the cameras would work. I spent hours on chat with Spypoint trying to get camera to work. Their tech people kept telling me to do the same things over and over with no results. The cameras would not ever connect. I asked for repair or replacement but they kept telling me to try something else. I finally decided to return camera to Academy Sports where I ordered it from but I had to send the 2 cameras back that were in the package and because I had tried for weeks to get camera working I was past the time I could return the cameras. The 3 cameras that work have done a good job of taking photos but battery life has only been about 2 weeks. I have good signal where cameras are and they are taking lots of photos. Am I happy, NO. Because of the poor support from Spypoint and the poor battery life I would not recommend these cameras or anything else from Spypoint.Sam Rose

I have ran regular trail cameras for years, but this is the first cell cam I have owned so I was excited at first. I have had this camera a little over a month now and pretty disappointed. The battery life is terrible. Big downfall for me and kind of defeats the purpose of not having to go in and disturb the area. So far I have had to change batteries after the first 250 pictures and now I'm close to 450 and the battery is low again. I usually get thousands of pictures on my other cams and can leave out for months at a time. The next biggest complaint is most all of the pictures it has taken are of nothing at all. Yes, I have checked for moving limbs etc, changed settings and have moved the camera to 4 locations to make sure something isn't interfering, but still the same thing. I hardly ever have this problem with all my other cams and I run a lot of them. So the free 100 images a month is pretty much useless from what I see. The photo quality sent to your phone is poor, which is ok if you are just trying to see what's moving by and it's pretty close to the camera. I'm fine with this, but just don't expect what you usually get from your regular card cameras. Overall, I like the idea, but this camera doesn't work well enough for me to want to buy another. I bought these cameras for their compact size and price point. I got into the cellular camera game about 4 years ago now. That's when I purchased my very first Spypoint Link Evo. Since then, I have bought several Link Micros and have had great success capturing thousands of photos, while reducing costs and travel time to and from location. Meaning I don't have to disturb the natural patterns of the animals I've been monitoring. Work did not allow me to have a whole lot of time to get out and check cameras, so these have been a game changer. Now I get to spend more time with my family as well as have a favorite past time with them when my wife and kids come out to set them up and go through them when we have time! For the price of this camera as well as the price of the plans, you simply cannot go wrong. This is a cute appliance and cleans up quickly. However, it gets super super hot on the outside as well as in. I would not let kids use this. The mini spaces for the dough are very small, so it is hard to get the right consistency to fill the very small bone shapes. I bought this as my dog has early stage kidney disease and cannot eat commercially processed treats (look at the ingredients, full of nasty stuff). I personally don’t use any of the recipes that came in the booklet but I make my treats out of egg whites, white flour and baby food. After a small learning curve of of thick to make the little rolls and cooking time they are coming out great. Another review said it was unsafe pressing the dough into the maker and she wants a more liquid recipe to pour. Id you did that you would essentially be making pancakes lol. A small amount of dough rolled up is all you need. Your hands don’t need to come near the warm plate at all. When you close the lid it will squish your dough to form perfect dog bone shaped treats. All of takes is a few times to figure out the consistency. I bought this on sale for $15.99 and it’s well with it.showard

I’m very picky about what I feed my pups, especially treats. I’ve discovered that oat flour is most easily digested, so I found a dog cookie recipe made with oat flour, incorporated sweet potato or pea baby food, and they love them! Next I’ll be looking into grinding up pecans, or maybe some pure peanut butter. We received a furReal Cinnamon My Styling Pony complimentary for testing purposes. My 8 year old daughter adores this toy. She likes that it comes with accessories to put on the horse. It has an assortment of felt flowers that can be attached to the rein of the horse and a removable headband to use as a flower crown. It has four removable horseshoes. It also comes with a apple shaped comb. She can comb it’s mane and tail. The apple shape can be “fed” to Cinnamon and she nibbles at it. Cinnamon makes sounds and moves her head when you pet her back. She can be put into a kneeling position as well. Her eyes open and close and are so cute with her long lashes. My daughters obsession right now is Horses/Unicorns so when she saw this toy she freaked out! The pony is super cute and comes with a lot of hair accessories, an apple brush and pink horse shoes. It also comes with a little crown for the horse so the child can decorate it with the included flowers. Needs AA batteries which are not included. I really like the night node too, not alot of toys have that. When put in night mode, the pony closes its eyes and begins to play calming music and its little cheeks glow. I think that is the cutest thing ever. My only down fall about this toy is that it says theres 80 different sounds but I can only make 5-6 at most sounds. I have never owned a Nerf gun, so was not sure what to expect. The gun is massive, its got the nerf bullets with it and 2 different types to go in the 2 areas of the gun. There is the blue ones for the front which you have to pump and shoots out 6 bullets at once. The orange ones ho in the gun which there is a removable magazine to put them in. There are 2 triggers for the main part of the gun, one charges it and the other shoots. Then at the front there is a pump and button to do the 6 shots at once. I have to say because the gun is so big, it was uncomfortable to hold and difficult to do the button while aiming. My children also had the same issue but my husband found it to be about right for him, so feel this is a gun for the taller person. The pellets do not hurt as much as I had thought, although if you pump a lot the bullets do tend to go quite far quickly. I would recommend not aiming for face as I accidentally hit my son in the eye while trying out the gun. Overall this is a really fun nerf gun, its a bit big for me so I would recommend it as it is great fun and will be looking at others to enjoy as a family.Sher27

I received this product as part of a Vox Box campaign, and was so excited. My cat loves heating pads so I thought he’d love this, but unfortunately he doesn’t. I don’t think it’s any fault of the product, just him being a finicky cat! The product itself is a great size – comparable to a bath mat. Easy to store, very soft, and the color is nice. It’s a dark gray that isn’t too glaring or noticeable with our home decor. Overall it’s hard to see why he doesn’t like it, but he prefers my laundry I guess!sarah.h

I feed cats outside in sheltered places but used these self-warming pet pads under where they would be sitting to eat the food so they will be a little warmer in the winter. I have a 16 year old outdoor cat who refuses to come inside, even when when it's painfully cold. I used to be constantly bringing her warm towels to lay with but this bed has made all the difference. Now when I go check on her, she's warm and cozy under her blankets! I would give 5 stars if the bed had more "squish" to it. Premier Pet 60oz Pet Fountain was easy to assemble. The time from unboxing, rinsing off each piece and putting it together was under 10 minutes. The set up instructions were clearly written, were numbered, and the accompanied pictures were helpful. My cat started to drink from the fountain as soon as I had put it down and plugged it in. He seems to prefer to drink from one of the four free-falling water streams versus drinking directly out of the tray. However, I’ve seen him drink from the tray occasionally. Much to my surprise, he is drinking a whole lot more water than he was before. I not only see him at the fountain drinking multiple times per day, but have also noticed the increase in urine output when tending to his litter box. The fountain runs quietly. The constant water circulation helps to prevent gross stuff from growing, and collecting in the water he is drinking. I am happy to note that the water passing through is free from hair and other crud that I used to see floating about in his old water dish. (This fountain has two filters, a small carbon filter, and a foam filter which are included.) The bowl holds 60 ounces of water. The top comes off easily so you can refill and/or clean when needed. It’s easy enough to clean by hand, or you can put the pieces on the top shelf of the dishwasher if you prefer that. This was a great addition to my cats preventative health maintenance. Fantastic buy. Kitty drinks a lot more water now, gravity water container just wasn't enticing enough and required constant changing. Kitty drinks over 8oz of water a day now ontop of whatever hydration she gets from her wet food. I love how reasonably priced the extra filters are too, as this is often more expensive than the appliance itself! Had this for around 6 weeks now with zero issues, just keep on top of cleaning it regularly and changing the filters to keep kitty healthy and hydrated. It's pretty quiet, I have ours placed ontop of a folded up towel to help muffle some of the "vibration" sound, it did take kitty a few hours to get used to it. Amazingly satisfying to watch kitty drink, knowing lack of good hydration can be very harmful to a cats well being. Only downside I would mention is the "flow change" switch, its located on the motor, obviously, which is surrounded my a mesh protector of sorts, so when you re-cover it, it can often move the switch to a different position, im not knocking any stars off for that though as it just needs to be put together carefully, it is a design that could be revisited though.adam

Pros: Cats always seem to love running water and gravitate towards the dripping faucet! I think this really does encourage them to drink more water throughout the day and prevents it from becoming stagnant. Set up was very simple – there are a lot of pieces, but the instructions are very clear and easy to follow. It’s lightweight and once assembled, super easy to operate; it’s a simple plug that automatically turns it on when plugged in. In terms of noise, I was worried that it would be too loud but it only emits a low humming noise that I didn’t even notice after an hour or so. It is reasonably priced compared to other fountains I’ve seen – a great value for your $$!! Cons: Through no fault of the product itself, my cats did not care for this at all. They were absolutely freaked out by the fact that there was a new water bowl and it made noise. I had it running for about a day and they never seemed to get used to it and were on high alert/stressed out. It was sitting next to their other water bowls and I’m pretty sure that one of my cats didn’t drink water all day because he didn’t want to be near it! I give the product 5 stars still because it’s not the fountains fault that my cats are terrified. Additionally, our home utilizes well water. While we have a water softener, I suspect that because our water is hard, the bowl and filters will need to be cleaned and replaced more frequently than homes that use city water. I have been using these large Permate dog houses to house my Nigerian Dwarf goats for many years. They have made "affordable housing" for my goats. I will say that my bucks (boys) are much harder on the houses than the does (girls). Both genders jump on top, but the bucks crack the rain shield by jumping on top of the houses. This happens after a while, not right away. I don't blame the company that makes these because they are intended for dogs, not goats that love to climb! I do wish the tops would be stronger to prevent this problem from happening. Another area to improve design would be for the top to somehow lock on to the base. When my Great Pyrenees (GP) dog goes inside to lay down, the lid can lift/tilt off. The large size is not big enough for a GP. The price keeps going up, and I'm not pleased with having to pay more. I wait until the neighbor club coupon comes out to buy any needed replacement houses. Over the years I've bought countless Permate Large dog houses, so I know these pretty well! My Lab and Australian Shepherd love these large Petmate houses too.Farmer Johns

Looks very nice and hardy but it floods when it rains, I don't know how but the water gets inside and it is too much water. I put a crate pad inside for my outdoor cat to stay warm and went to check on my cat a few hours later after it rained, and the pad was soaking wet not to mention the house was full of water more water than what was outside . The dog house comes in two parts – top and bottom. They do not snap together; the top merely sits on the bottom. No hardware is provided to attach the two and even if there was there are no holes through which one would thread screws or bolts (or whatever) to keep the dog house together. I use these for my goats because these houses are inexpensive but the goats knowingly and regularly have fun pushing up on the exit/entrance hole to "break" the house into two pieces. Yes, I laugh at their antics but I still plan to drill holes and use nuts/bolts to keep the top and bottom together.L McGaffey

We bought this for our office a few months ago. I hate killing mice, but killing 1 is better than having them breed and needing to kill 100. We thought we had one mouse (it ran around on the top of my desk while I was working!) but we kept the trap baited and caught 2 more after the first one. We had some more "mousy noises" a few weeks ago and caught another one. The only downside is that the light doesn't flash very often when there is a victim, so the last one we caught had been in there for a while and decomposed a bit – ugh. And obviously it can't catch another mouse when it is full. I had a very bad experience with a snap trap before we got this, so have been glad that it seems to be a quicker death.SadMouseKiller

Unfortunately I bought two of these. I bought one at Canadian tire and one at another store. I followed all the directions and set up. I placed peanut butter in the traps and the mice come and eat it and then leave. I do not find this effective at all and have just wasted money on purchasing two. I am going back to using wooden spring traps. Now I’m stuck with two devices that don’t work. So disappointing!!MissMary

I got this trap beginning of Oct as I saw a mouse in my house, I baited it with peanut butter as suggested and moved the trap aorund once every few days to try and get the mouse, nothing for two weeks, added in some sunflower seeds, nothing, only when I also added in some bread did the little one get zapped. Took all of 24 hrs and I saw the flashing light indicting it trapped a mouse the next morning. One thing that's confusing is it said it would flash green when a mouse is caught, but mine flashes RED, don't know if that's just a typo in instructions or if mine is broken. flashing red normally meas low batteries but they where new batteries so I don't know. This is an excellent purchase. It is lightweight which I love. I use this upstairs on my hardwood floors and small throw carpets. It sure beats having to lug my regular vacuum up and down 2 flights of steps! It has great suction on hardwood and carpet. Don't hesitate, it is a great buy.latt

I bought this to replace a 2-in-1 stick vacuum thats handle broke. I bought the Dirt Devil Express Lite because not only was it lightweight for me to handle, had a removable hands free dust buster, it also had a roller brush I can use for area rugs and gets in the edges of the carpet along the wall. The price was about the same as the one I had with less features, so it was a great value for the price. After putting it together I realized it also has another valuable feature. The filter is rubber and can be rinsed to get rid of dust. No nasty cioth filter that never gets clean and holds odors. I have respiratory condition and this will keep my house dust free! I work full time and run an animal rescue. I needed a strong vacuum for the intake room and had NO time to put something together. To my surprise the unit literally snapped together! It also has a button to turn the broom off which I LOVE (makes me wonder about those reviews that said the broom quit, it's not advertised on box only instruction guide). Having fished for over 40 years and having used generations of fish finders, I can say this thing is amazing for the price. The screen resolution and clarity are top notch. Easy to view in the bright sun, love it! The menu system is very intuitive and easy to use. Comes with a tilt and swivel mount so there is no extra expense of purchasing one separately. Installation is as standard as any fish finder. The GPS plotter is just icing on the cake. Bear in mind this a plotter, not a full blown lake/river map. The plotter is easy to use and allows you to mark your hot spots so you can return to them. You can also set way points to establish a route to follow. You may or may not need this, but it is nice to have. The key to success with any fish finder is mounting and location of the transducer. General guide lines are given and if followed you should have no problem.peshtigost

Love this unit that is mounted in my Old Town Sportsman Salty 120pdl Kayak. I bought a few extra things like the transducer mount for my specific Kayak. Now it just barely sits inside the transducer hole. A perfect fit. We used "Sticky Backs" or Tie-Wrap hold Downs for all the wiring & Yak Mount quick connect. It's small & out of the way but gives me all the information I need like, speed, water temp, depths, fish, etc. A great buy for a Kayak Person.MikeyFo

I was looking for a small, portable fish finder that I could use for both ice fishing in the winter and in my kayak in the summer. I was also looking for a reasonable price. I don’t fish enough to justify a top-of-the-line unit. The Striker 4 portable fit the bill perfectly. It comes complete with everything you need. I am impressed with the build quality and engineering. My vision is poor, so I was a little worried about a 4” screen. No problem, I can see it fine. I love the feature set- everything I need and more. Some reviewers didn’t like the fact that you can’t upload lake maps and there is no memory card slot. I fish on small local lakes and don’t need that. The CHIRP sonar is definitely worth getting. It gives you a good picture in all depths. Pros: • Great product for the price, full featured comes with everything you need to start fishing. • Quality build and design • Since Garmin’s core product is GPS units, they include it on everything. Unusual at this price point. Cons: A couple of little nits to pick, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. • The documentation is very poor. I am a total newbie to fish finders and really needed a more thorough manual. I suspect they assume a certain amount of background knowledge which I do not possess. I ended up watching a few Youtube videos made by other Striker 4 owners. • The float that holds the transducer for ice fishing could use some kind of adjuster. They tell you to tie the cable around it, but I would like something more precise, so I rigged up a stop made out of wood. • The battery and charger use blade connectors, which are not very robust. They are likely to break over time. I adapted a pair of alligator clips so I can easily connect the charger without disconnecting the battery. This is another product that I really wanted to love, but didn't. I just don't feel the need to have a smart speaker at my beck and call. To be honest Alexa and Google Assistant are better at that than Siri. I'm a prominent Apple user, but I'm honest. What really hurts this cute little speaker is that it could be amazing, IF Apple allowed the user to determine how it connected, or improve the connectivity. Here is my rant: I have the Mac mini 2020. These don't have a mic and a poor onboard speaker. So, I looked into using this as an extension. You would think that APPLE, would have seen this coming, and made a no-brainer up-sale opportunity. NO. The mic won't sync, and, as an external speaker, the audio delay and anomalous behavior is enough to think that you've time traveled to 15 years ago. Also, because what drives this speaker is AirPlay, it appears to have a mind of its own at times, playing what was left in its queue, vs what you want to play from your device–Assuming it is able to tell which device you want to connect to at the time. Ultimately I just found it to NOT be worth my time nor the money I spent and I returned it. Because my simple JBL Charge 3.0 Bluetooth speaker was far more reliable in terms of responsiveness with less quirky behavior. In my opinion, Apple really dropped the ball on a use-case scenario that they either didn't see coming, or didn't care to capitalize on.Rich5370

I got tired of Alexa's "by the way! advertising", among other things, and got lost trying to configure Google's whatever-they-are-calling-it-this-week voice activated service. Having a lot of Apple gear already, I decided to give HomeKit a try. I use HomeKit (now Apple Home) via HomeBridge in a Raspberry Pi to control a lot of devices that are not Home(kit) compatible. It runs fine; all the more reason I am pleased. I am VERY pleased with the build quality and appearance, and the ease of setup if you have an iPhone. Not sure how it would set up otherwise, but with an iPhone, and I presume with an iPad, setup is easy as falling off a log. The sound quality is good, but be advised: I am not using my HomePod Mini for music. Just voice activation, weather reports, and answering questions. Example: "Hey, Siri, what is 274 pound converted to kilograms?" My ONE cause for four stars rather than five: there is no means to keep Siri from being a bit verbose. I would like to say "Hey, Siri, turn on piano area floor lamps", and it just does it. Maybe with a little beep or double tone like Alexa does. Instead, Siri is a bit wordy at times, other times, either nothing, or "done!" (I am using the Irish male Siri voice.) If you are using Lutron for lighting, or are buying devices labeled "HomeKit Compatible", you are all set. If you are already dialed in to, say, a bunch of cloud-based devices, or, like me, a lot of Z-Wave and Zigbee items, HomeKit may not be for you unless you use something like HomeBridge or Home Assistant to join it up.TheRetiredViking

Having 4 kids, a dog, and a husband, I really needed something to help my area rug to not look so dingy, but I also didnt want to buy a whole carpet scrubber machine for an area rug. My rug is high pile and the fibers were looking really tired. Saw this, saw the ratings and decided to give it a try. If it didnt work I'm only out $20 right? Well it was WORTH IT. The photo I'm attaching is just after scrubbing so it's still wet, but it's visibily whiter, you can see where I haven't yet scrubbed, and the fibers have perked up so much! I bought this kind of on a whim because I have a rug I like a lot and it was getting really dirty and I didn't want to have to rent a machine just for a few area rugs. I was quite impressed with how well the dirt came up. Granted I've had the rug for over 5 years and I've never cleaned it, just vacuumed. So, it is understandable that it wouldn't have come perfectly clean the first time. (It used to be white) But, I think with more treatments it will get better and better. The only drawback was the handle is pretty flimsy so you need to be careful with it.RJ

Let me start by saying I have beige wall to wall carpet in my living, 10yrs old buy looks brand new as we are" empty nesters" and don't have a lot of messy foot traffic on it. I do use a Hoover Power scrub elite w/ heat force drying on it about once a year and it does a WONDERFUL job but it is getting heavy for me. My small spot cleaning go to has ALWAYS been resolve spray foam; which works EXTEREMLY well, but lately it's getting rough getting down on my hands and knees to "scrub" any spots away then getting up. Two years ago we decided to "adopt" a puppy. Love the dog but my beige carpet doesn't. Muddy paw prints on rainy wet days , oh boy. Decided then to buy a small hand held carpet shampooer for pet spots, a good brand name one, ; not a hoover, but am not happy with it at all. So once again resolve foam takes care of the pet mess as does the Hoover being used more than normal but then I saw this gadget and decided to give it a try to save my knees. I have to say that this is well worth having if you spot clean!! No need to be on your hands and knees – just spray, scrub, let dry and vacuum and it does as good a job as my big shampooer. Dries in no time and doesn't leave a sticky residue like my small shampooer did. Cleans the spots as well as my big shampooer and I will say the whole carpet could be done with this as long as you have a few cans of spray foam. If you have to spot clean this is worth it's weight in gold!!!Carolyn

I like the price point of this camera, but it doesn’t work well even to be mid-grade price. It only detects motion about 25% of the time. I mainly got them for motion detection and recording so that was a huge disappointment. The video is semi consistent when it does decide to record, but it doesn’t record the entire motion encounter. In addition, the motion sensor hasn’t worked at all since I got a notification about my trial expiring soon (it hasn’t expired yet though.) The app is a little glitchy but is otherwise easy to navigate and the quality of the image and video is decent which is why they got 2 stars here. To be transparent, I didn’t do much research into these before I bought them, and to add to it, they were buy one get one free so I was pretty excited to buy them. Just know for this camera, you will need to sign up to a monthly Amazon subscription for cloud storage. Please consider before purchasingSimone

I got lucky enough to get 4 cameras for the price of 2 during Prime Day a few years ago, so I could install in the bedrooms and areas of my house where my little kids tend to play alone, so I don’t have to run from room to room to find out why they are being soooo quiet. It can sit anywhere, with without being plugged in and you can pair it to your phone via app and watch from anywhere in the world!!! As long as there's stable Wi-Fi inside the home. I watched my living room for 18 days while visiting my family in another country. This camera has the ability to record as well but you need a subscription to store the recordings on the cloud! Very clear picture with ability to zoom in (on your phone) and night vision is well lit black white. Best of all, this camera allows you to hear speak through it. It's also a fantastic way to monitor children and the elderly without having to run inside all the time to see if everything's alright! I believe the subscription gives you Alexa voice command when you register your blink on Amazon.com. Best camera, good picture, great features, very dependable and easy to install! The only issue (and this is the only reason why I’m not giving 5 stars) is because if the room is completely dark and you check the camera (especially if it is in your kids bedroom), a blue light turns on (it won’t make it bright, but if you’re facing the camera you will notice something is on even if your eyes are closed). First off the price is right. relatively easy to set up minus a few issues with it not recognizing my wifi. perfect size to hide in places you want monitored. Video quality is lacking a bit. one feature that would be a good add is not only being able to flip the video up side down but rotate it so you can mount it on a wall and have the video rotated to be level. the motion detection is bit useless. all night long it will record a pesky moth but during the day I can walk past it in front of it and it won't record. I have it set to the most sensitive setting (maybe that's why the moth is always showing up) but it misses other movement. if there is a way to fix these issues I would consider giving it a 4 star rating. this definitely isn't going to help you identify a burglar who broke in but will at least help see when someone is in your house when they are not supposed to (if the motion detection works)Stop making landfill

I bought the K-Mini Plus and just used it today for first time. I replaced a K-Mini that worked for a little less than 3 years, but I loved it. I live alone and make 2-3 cups of coffee a day. So far, so good; but I don’t really think the “stronger” brew button does anything because the strength of the coffee brewed tastes exactly the same as what I brewed in the K-mini that didn’t have this feature. I’m using the same flavors and amount of filtered water that I’ve always used. Disappointing, because I was looking forward to a stronger brew, and the main reason I purchased the plus instead of just the mini. Also, this brewer doesn’t brew my coffee as hot as my previous K-mini. It’s okay but not as hot as I’d prefer; just barely passable, which is disappointing. I shouldn’t have to buy the “mac daddy” big brewer so that I can adjust the temperature; especially since my previous K-mini brewed a hotter cup of java. I took excellent care of my previous brewer, keeping it descaled and clean, used only filtered water, etc., but it started acting up about 2.5 years after purchasing it. I was able to fix the issues by watching videos, but then the heating mechanism died. I’m hoping this brewer lasts at least 5 years. My original big K-cup brewer lasted over 10 years! I moved to a small condo that has a small kitchen, so the mini size is crucial to me. If this K-Mini Plus brewer doesn’t last, I’ll be purchasing a knockoff brand because from what I’ve read, they last about 2-3 years and they are much cheaper. For now I’m recommending the brewer, but I’ll edit my review in a yea or sooner if I have any issues.Flagal4ever

Bought it Oct-20, great design, fit, functionality. Just a bit pricy but worth it for a quality machine right? Within 6 months the lights stopped working, so there was no way to know if it's on, off, heating, brewing etc. Fine, I could understand it well enough from the sound and actions it's performing. Within 12 months it can't finish a cup in one go. Either it doesn't suck in the water, or it dies immediately after the water is in the heating body. Then I have to restart it through a combination of; Open/close handle Press on/off button for 3 seconds Unplug/plug powerchord BUT since there's no working lights I can't tell if it started heating or not, so now I'm pressing my ear against the side of the machine to listen for the heaters starting up. The reason I bought this machine was for quick and automated coffee, but now I'm spending half of my morning just to get it to work. Conveniently the damage starting getting critical only after the warranty was up so Keurig won't do much about it. It's a shame because I like the product otherwise, but next time I buy a coffemaker I'll expect it to work for more than a year..randerxos

I love, love, love the Keurig K-Mini Plus, and you won't find a better price anywhere. Yes, I've checked. This is my 4th Mini-plus, so I now have a machine in every room of my house with running water. The K-cups make a perfect cup of coffee. Water run through the unit is the perfect temperature to brew a cup of tea (or cocoa) as well. I have had zero malfunctions with my Keurigs; they are all in perfect working order. I don't need to brew a whole pot of coffee, I just want a well-made steaming mug every once in a while. The water goes into the reservoir fresh each time, which is ideal for the best flavor. If you live in a multi-person household filled with coffee drinkers, maybe the larger machine with a multi-cup reservoir makes sense, but you still are making your brew one cup at a time. So, for my money I prefer the Mini Plus. The little flip-top reservoir is handy for cleaning, but I usually just leave it in place and pour the water in. Follow the directions and you'll be fine. This is a simple machine that makes a fine cup of coffee. I love the extras that QVC throws in for nothing–takes the sting out of the shipping cost. Great little unit for my tinny I have bought to be a topper. Display unit bracket is easy to remove, attach and adjust. Basic sounder functions seem good for price and my purpose. Gps Speed function works. I have not used way points yet. I downloaded Lowrance app, but my opinion not worth downloading for this as no mapping functions with this unit which fine for my purpose of Creek use. I have an Lowrance Elite ti in my bigger boat which is a better unit for mapping and fish finding inshore and offshore/Reef/shoals. I alsways run a vertical slide mount for the transducer mount on my boats that will be beached, Suggest buy one if you need as stops damage to transducer and mount. Overall good little unit for $150 on sale.Sandy1

Walmart is a great store and ships fast. That said, This Lowrance Hook2 4x (Bullet) very hard to figure out. Read that again. despite instructions. Although mounted easy enough. YouTube has a ton of videos about the dreaded live mode weird screen I failed to see before buying. Jumbled numbers and white screen with intermittent colors has something to do with actual depth. Well this is all I get from the beginning. BTW This has no GPS but upon inspection it has no slot to get it or the maps if you wanted it later. So what you see is what you get. So far for me it's been a nightmare of self contained grimness. Its very hard to figure out. Maybe it's the auto depth. I suppose I need a months worth of YouTube set up and trouble shooting. I have zero tech savvy so it could just be me. Yes I'm aware of water depth placement of the transducer. It's fine on the Yakattack adjustable arm I pre-purchased before it arrived. And it mounted up perfectly. Note : it never just worked and suddenly didn't. It has always had this weird screen from the beginning. Except for running in the factory programmed simulation mode. The fish finder does not show depth like it does in the picture… It just shows the (range) its scanning. I would love for it to show what depth I am in at the moment and for it to be visible for old eyes and maybe high lighted, but I digress… The unit does not show currant depth for me… I am very disappointed in every aspect in the manual… Nowhere I mean no where does it show my problem… In fact the manual is lacking very lacking in operation. This is the first time I have used the Lowrance brand and I knew I was taking a risk using such a cheap unit but reading other reviews I purchased it… I am unhappy about this purchase. I feel I was sold a cheap product that does not perform as advertised… I threw away the box and probably cant return this product, but that doesnt mean I cant leave a review that might save someone else the problem I have… Do not buy this product… It is cheap and the instructions are not complete. Water never froze, even with -25 degrees (wind-chill) night time temps. Power cord protected with the metal wrapping kept the cord from kinking and getting stepped on. I bought a plug protector for where the extension cable and power cable connected and let it sit in the ice and snow with no issues. I have the bowl sitting on a throw rug on the cement and it's been on 24×7 for the last 3 weeks.I would buy it again

The sides of the bowl are very tapered making the circumference very large..takes up a lot of room. Very hard to handle, can’t get your fingers under it so that you could pick it up to fill. Will return it.Freeport
