best collar yet! I start with the vibration first and then resort to shock last case scenario. It does not hurt as long as you have the shock on the low setting. I have a puppy who is a Aussie blue heeler and it helped a lot especially since I work from home. We got a 6 month old long haired dachshund puppy to add to our family, which already included a 12yo indoor only cat. That was 8 months ago. We did everything correctly from the beginning to ensure that our two fur babies would, at very least, tolerate each other enough to peacefully coexist in our home. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, we just never have been able to stop our pup from chasing, cornering and general tormenting of the cat. Don't get me wrong the cat has now for the most part stopped running and stands her ground which means there is a noisy fight. To clarify, the cat is fighting and hissing and growling. The dog thinks she's playing and loves the game and he hears nothing else when focused on this game. Out of desperation to stop the yelling, fighting, hissing, etc I began researching training collars and finally settled on this one. We LOVE it. It worked the first day! It's now been over a month and although our dog is stubborn and have had to adjust settings and levels it still works great. It hasn't stopped all of the dog's harassment but it's so much better. I tried the aeterek Garmin 3 dog shock collar(same priced name brand) and was disappointed as the settings were all the same as were the tone and vibrate. Also the maximum level of shock was not strong enough for my dogs.the price on this 3 dog system is very competitive. This is the second training collar I purchased since August. I bought an Oxford and that didn't last. I liked some of the Oxford features over this EasyPet Collar. This collar system is better made and I expect will last longer. While I like the multiple levels of each of the sound, vibration, and shock getting to the setting in a hurry doesn't happen. I have two pit bull mixes. The sound, any level, works for one of the dogs, but not the other. I have moved to the vibration correction for him. This works well as does the shock. He returns to me with both of these. I do suggest putting a sensor on the remote as when the dog is returning after being corrected and cannot see the trainer (as he was deep in the woods) perhaps a sound on the remote would aid the dog's quicker return. I'm suggesting this as he came out of the woods at a different point than where I was. My second suggestion is making the recharging plug on the collar easier to insert. The plug seems flimsy and is hard to secure on it. Since it is so important for the plug to be in to maintain the waterproof feature it should be easier to put in. She was chewing literally every single thing but her toys and getting into the trash can, as well as peeing all over the house despite us taking her outside frequently to potty. Kennel training and praising/treats helped some, but it just wasn’t enough and a trainer recommended a collar like this. I haven’t had to use the shock and don’t think I ever will need to use it. Just a quick beep or a vibrate on the lowest setting is enough to get her attention. I’ve seen so much improvement in a short time with this collar, and feel that soon we will be able to completely ditch the collar as she is learning and catching on to the rules very quickly. I like the bright red and black colors and it was really easy to put it together. The battery lasts much longer than I expected, which may also be due to the fact that we only use the collar as a last resort to get her attention. This collar is affordable and very effective. I have a large mountain cur who barks at night and annoys the neighbors. The instructions are easy to follow and the collars are adjustable so they can be for large or small dogs. The clip makes it easy for putting the collar on and off. You are supposed to give your dog a break from these around their neck like any of other training collar. My dogs all I need is the beep and the vibration options but it does have a shock option as well and the vibration and shock are adjustable. I'll first start by saying I never do reviews. However I was at my wits end with our nine month old chiweenie. I thought my husband was going to kill me and the dog…and I was praying my neighbors did not have guns because this little 8 pound cutie barked like a 100 lb squealing pig at anything and everything! Previous to this device I tried the citronella collar and the ultrasonic remote. Neither phased her. I will say on day one I thought this thing was a piece of junk. I called pet safe and learned that the collar needs to be tightly fitted on the dogs neck or it will not work. After adjusting the collar and I was still on the phone with the representative my Daisy girl went outside and I witnessed it working immediately. We still have some light barking which I imagine occurs before the strengthened static but it is completely manageable. I will say after reading the reviews we have lucked out with the battery… It has been in use with an aggressive Barker for a month and still has not needed to be replaced. Our only downside is that the collar is bulky… I take it off when she comes inside. If I do forget to put it on when she goes outside she will bark up a storm again! I bought two Basic Static Bark collars to help alleviate my puggle's and beagle's separation anxiety barking when we are not at home. The collars are fitted properly and in accordance with instructions and the batteries are working, yet BOTH dogs continue to bark. The biggest problem is that both collars tend to move to one side of the dogs' necks, so the dogs are probably not receiving the static correction. The directions state to "REPOSITION THE COLLAR ON THE PET'S NECK EVERY 1 TO 2 HOURS.." Obviously, if we are not home, this is impossible to do. I wasted almost $100 on collars that do not work on either dog. Petsafe customer service recommended that I should purchase the more expensive Deluxe Petsafe Collar. No thanks. I bought this about a week ago after I received a complaint from a neighbor and was given a warning from our HOA for disturbance. We had just moved in about a month ago and didnt want to make enemies. My dog barks at everything. From shadows, birds to airplanes. I decided to give this a try. Our dog is still loving and playful, but is no longer terrorizing the house. I am eating right next to her and she's simply chewing on a toy. Before, I could never leave her out of her cage unless I was directly on top of her. I combine verbal commands with either vibration or beeping, and treats. I haven't tried the shock, and I hope I never have to. I don't see how it would shock because there is rubber over the electrodes… Also, it is disappointing to see the amount of people on here who say they bought this to essentially electrocute their dogs simply because they got breeds they have no idea how to handle. Do I know how to handle a gigantic, stubborn dog? Absolutely not, and that's why I got one that fits my abilities. Dogs are a hug decision. For many people, you do need to shop around a lot until you find your friend. You can't walk into a shelter or store and pick up just any dog and expect everything to work out.
This helped immediately. He was already aware of the beeping because of the underground fence. This helped let him know very quickly to stop the behavior that was making him hard to handle. I highly recommend this. My dog is a German Shepard mix and he did feel the shock the few times we had to use it.
I have had this for a few weeks and I'm very happy. New puppy did not want to listen this is a great tool because you have the beep the vibration and the shock.I have never had to use anything but the beep most of the time and the vibration once in awhile have never used the shock. It works great would highly recommend. never have to touch the dog, or raise your voice.

LOVE having one device to control both. Previously, we had 2 remotes for 2 e-collars. We have found this to be a humane way to encourage the behavior we want to see. I do like how small the receivers are on this. My dog who is scared of everything likes this one better than the larger one we have. Also, my 100 lb dog is responding well to it, and she is quite stubborn and is very good at ignoring things. The beep feature on this one seems to get her attention a lot better than some others. I only wish it had a lanyard on the remote, or at least a place to add one.nicole

It really distracts them from what they are barking about. I like that I get to control the collar, rather than the noise activated type. That way it can be used to correct them when they are doing something other than just barking, such as jumping up on someone or trying to steal the other dog’s toy.
