I bought this for my eighteen year old cat who had started losing a lot of weight and has a chronic upper respiratory infection she can't seem to shake no matter what meds we have her on. �I could see her sides starting to sink in. �She has always been a very fussy cat food wise and usually turns her nose up at even soft food unless it's just the right kind. �Within a week or two of starting Pet Tinic we were shocked. �She filled right back out. �She aggressively started trying to help herself to our food! �Suddenly, everything was delicious to her and she will now eat anything I give her. �She was begging for a chicken nugget the other day and chowed it down. �(Of course she gave her little pieces) But she would have never done this before. �This stuff is amazing in increasing appetite, helping them get nutrients, and putting weight on. �A must have for any ill, aging, or malnourished pet!! �I don't usually do reviews but I had to share this with other pet owners so their pets could be helped as well!! �Aimdelane
My Dog has Chronic Kidney disease, which causes anemia. This was the only product I was able find for pets that I felt was appropriate. It did help my dog for a time, I am very grateful! It didn't seem to cause him additional stomach or intestinal upset (which is great for an iron supplement:)). I am only giving 3 stars because for my dog's needs, it simply did not give him enough iron and it does not contain vitamin C (helps the body absorb the iron), and he seemed to have some reactions sometimes. So, I had to find a different source. For a healthy dog, too much iron can be lethal so this is possibly still a great product for healthy dogs (check with your vet :)). Lastly, Iron supplements for dogs have been very difficult for me to find, and when I needed it, this product was there. THANK YOU!Manija
Kudos to the fact it arrived 1 week early. I bought it to supplement my senior dogs diet. I was having a tough time finding something she could eat anymore so I started making her a puree with chicken, rice and veggies and I added this supplement to it. We have a Yorkie that loves this stuff! We started with the rolls and he was really eating it up but after a while it took us having to coax him into eating. We came across these and from the first time we gave it to him, he licks the bowl clean each and every time. It is now the only food that I will feed him. I know that all the ingredients are fresh and good for him. He has more energy (if that's possible) and his coat is shinier than it has ever been. An all around great and healthy choice for your loved one and it's at a great price, even with everything going up these days! Would highly recommend.Tammy
After my 7 month old puppy was healing from a spaying surgery (just got back from) her appetite was gone, but the only thing she would eat was Freshpet chicken treats. We tried giving her normal kibble and some beef wet food but she wouldn't touch it, she's never had beef before though so that might've played a part. My mom decided to try FreshPet and my dog went crazy for it, ate the whole thing in one sitting and even picked up the paper plate and flung it around. She's never ever done that in the 4+ months we've had her, we've tried multiple kibble/wet food brands as well. We've switched to the Vital line rolls and she still likes them, we mix with her normal kibble and she eats around the kibble (she usually comes back to finish it after). This food is definitely worth the price although the feeding guidelines seem a little too much. The kibble we fed promises shiny coats (which it did provide) but with freshpet her coat is even more shiny and she's so much more happier to eat. The blue bone has a hard plastic inside and rubbery outside which actually help up good with my pitty! She didn’t destroy that as fast as I thought. Adopted a black mouth cur from the shelter. Escape artist, separation anxiety to the maximum. First time I put the shirt on her, I left her in the car while I ran into the store (no, it wasn't hot out! and I wasn't long. but I'd be wondering the same, reading the above!) I purchased the ThunderShirt for my dog's anxiety over fireworks. I tried to get my dog accustomed to it before putting it on her as the instructions stated but she ran away every time even when it was paired with treats and I was just holding it up. Despite this, I put the ThunderShirt on her the night of the 4th of July fireworks. I also added the calming spray to the area on the shirt as indicated. She was very anxious the whole night. However, the next night I put the shirt on her again and she calmed down quickly despite neighbors setting off fireworks. This was repeated the next night as well. I recently adopted 2 retired greyhounds and noticed my female would hide and pant before and during rainstorms.
