My active Doberman is recovering from a spinal injury and needs to be confined. This pen is perfect. The quality is top-notch, with plenty of clear and illustrated instructions that are really not even necessary as it's so simple to set up. My one and only quibble is that the box opened nearly the full length of the side during shipping. I think the packing tape gave way. All parts were intact and nothing was damaged so just FYI. I'm now going to buy another one of these for the back yard. I was going to transport this one in and out rather than spend the money since it's (I'm hoping) not a life-long need, but while it's so easy to fold and move, it is pretty heavyweight (42") so it'd be a bit of a chore for me to do often. She's never been a jumper, especially not now, and I don't leave her alone outside so I could easily go with a lower height that's less expensive and more portable (keep in the shade) for the yard.jacy

I like Midwest products as the metal seems to be stronger and last longer than other brands. I have the original ex-pen I bought around 1995 – it's survived 50+ large dogs. I prefer them to crates as the dogs have more room to move around, yet they are easily configured to a smaller shape when potty training. They easier to clean than crates. They fold flat and I can store them next to a fridge or behind a furnace. They work indoors/out and are great mobile containment. For dogs living in fenceless areas (condos) ex-pens can be linked using carabiners/bolt snaps (i.e., dog leash clips) for fencing moveable for mowing/snow removal. They are great for patio surrounds. You can buy metal tops for if a dog needs more containment, but most won't if using a tall enough ex-pen. I've also bought just the metal or plastic crate pans to put under the ex-pen if needed. To keep the ex-pen from falling or being moved if I have a rambunctious pup I bungee the corners to furniture or door knobs.HannahB

I ordered several of these to use as barriers to prevent my young Border Collie from running through the mud in our back yard after it rains. I set them up just off the patio several feet to allow him some space in the grass without giving him free reign of the whole yard to run through. They are very easy to set up, take down, and store! The quality is excellent – the panels are very sturdy, the clips are easy to use, and the pins to anchor them in the ground are a great length and weight. I could not be happier with this purchase! I bought this food 2 weeks ago because my dog has been picky about her food for months now. I have tried Hills Science, Purina Pro, Blue Buffalo – all puppy dry food. I think she really doesn’t like the chicken taste so I thought I’d try something different. From the start when I was phasing out the old food with the new she was way more interested in eating. She also stopped biting her arms which I thought was due to a seasonal allergy but now think it was actually a food allergy. I’m really satisfied with the food! She seems more energetic and overall happier which makes me happy!Drea710

I wish someone would make small sample bags of pet food to allow owners of pets to know if their pet will like it or not before wasting money purchasing several different kinds trying to please fussy pants pets! Or maybe have a tasting station with small bowls of pet food set up for the pet to try in the store! We’ve been feeding Taste of the Wild Appalachian for small dogs for about a year now after switching to about 10 different brands. He loves it. The kibble is small, and the food is palatable and healthy. I wish the small kibble was available in fish and sweet potato too, but this has some fish in it. It’s a great choice in food for a very picky little dog. Now if he would only stop chewing his feet. This is new and been going on for about a year or so. So I’m wondering if it’s connected to the food in any way.Remy

The breeder we purchased our Shih Tzu puppy from uses only Royal Canin products for their dogs and puppies. We were sent home with a Royal Canin Puppy Kit which contained a small bag of Mini Puppy food, a can of Puppy in Gel Appetite Stimulation starter food, and a food guide. Since our puppy was familiar with the Royal Canin Mini Puppy food, we did not want to change. When our puppy arrived to our home he was a bit stressed from leaving his litter mates and his mom. The long drive home to his new home added to the stress, as well, and his appetite decreased. For the first few days, we added the Royal Canin Puppy in Gel Appetite Stimulator food to the Mini Puppy food to maintain his eating routine. Within the few days, he was back on track with his eating schedule once again and back to simply eating the Mini Puppy food. He recently received his rabies shot and wasn't feeling up to par. He had an upset tummy and wasn't eating well. Our vet suggested to give him something he "could not resist" to stimulate his appetite. Therefore, we made the choice to try the Puppy Healthy Development dog food and add it to his Mini Puppy food. He immediately took to it, and his appetite returned. He really enjoyed the extra treat in his food! We were happy that we had a variety of choices to turn to within the Royal Canin line of puppy food to stimulate his eating just in case we were unsuccessful with the Healthy Development food. Overall, our Shih Tzu puppy loves the taste of his food and we'll stay with Royal Canin throughout his growing years!hidee16

This is the 2nd bag of food for our puppy. She loves it. It was recommended from the breeder. The delivery time is quick. Received within 4 days of ordering, so that is a plus also. I ordered the correct size and it fit snugly enough in width, but the length was too long for my dog (from neck to tail). With the extra room in length she was able to get her back legs tangled in the fabric each time she would bend her knees/go from sitting to standing. It made it so she couldn’t use her back legs properly and she took a tumble down a few steps. Maybe including a body length measurement would help? I think the fit is probably ideal for certain types of dogs but not others. The zipper made me nervous that it would be easy to accidentally pinch her skin and I’m not sure she could go to the bathroom wearing it, even unzipped. These onsies are so cool! We have 2 long hair dogs that shed and my grandma HATES dog hair. We ordered these so that we can take the dogs to my grandmas house without her worrying. I think if your dog is in between sizes, you need to order the bigger size. Looser is better than tighter. The onsie was pretty tight on our bigger dog but she didn’t seem to mind! They are light weight and super comfy. The sport mode is nice because it’s a little less fabric than the original! I feel like the dogs breathe a little better in sport mode.Kaylin

My pup had a benign growth on his leg removed because he was constantly licking it. I was dreading the cone because he absolutely hates it and can’t eat or drink with it on or go up and down steps on his own. We tried this sleeve and it has been absolutely perfect. Great surgical suit. Good quality material and workmanship plus it looks fabulous! If your dog needs to wear something to stop them interfering with incisions post surgery then this suit works a treat and is much kinder to them than the dreaded cone. Very glad I purchased this. Great fitting harness and the adjustable neck section is great . I've had other harnesses in the past and whilst they fit my English Staffordshire around the body I found they got to a point where they were difficult to get on and off over his big lump of a head . Overall a great product and I'll definitely look at getting the bigger one once he outgrows this one .Scott M

I have a 70lb Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless). I purchased both the Hurtta Cooling Coat and the Swamp Cooler Dog Vest by Ruffwear. Both are made from similar material and work the same way. The Hurtta coat has much more coverage, has extended hind end flaps and front chest flaps, resembles a horse jacket. Whereas the Ruffwear is more of a fitted vest. I would have given the Hurtta Cooling Coat 5 stars however, the stitching that secured the chest strap isn't reinforced and tore out of the material the first time used. I then outfitted the dog in the Ruffwear Swamp Vest, which worked beautifully. Since my dog is hairless it was easy to feel how well the vest worked. Placing my hand on exposed skin, then touching skin under the vest, there was a noticeable difference in temperature however his skin was dry – just cooler. I have stitched the Hurtta strap back on and feel it will be equally as good if not better than the Ruffwear due to it's increased surface area.Laura

Ziwi manufactures in New Zealand but I just found out they are owned by a Chinese company. Do research on pet food melamine poisoning 2007 and you will be shocked. We lost 2 cats to contaminated cat food by Chinese companies that were associated with well-known and vet trusted brands. We will no longer be feeding our little fur babies Ziwi brand foods.Leo C.

Our 4 month old lowchen poodle cross loves these Ziwi treats and they help to reward him when he walks happily with you. Great knowing they're healthy treats. Ziwipeak is a premium dog food and the only one we use for our baby. I switched to another brand for about 6 months as he was becoming a senior and ziwipeak didn't have senior food. Big mistake, his health started to go downhill. We brought this back and he is now like a puppy again. The right food is essential. These guys have grass-fed 96 % meat, organs and green-lipped mussel that all they need to be healthy. It is amongst the most expensive food around but your fury baby is worth itJoesy F.

I received this product as part of a Vox Box campaign, and was so excited. My cat loves heating pads so I thought he’d love this, but unfortunately he doesn’t. I don’t think it’s any fault of the product, just him being a finicky cat! The product itself is a great size – comparable to a bath mat. Easy to store, very soft, and the color is nice. It’s a dark gray that isn’t too glaring or noticeable with our home decor. Overall it’s hard to see why he doesn’t like it, but he prefers my laundry I guess!sarah.h

I feed cats outside in sheltered places but used these self-warming pet pads under where they would be sitting to eat the food so they will be a little warmer in the winter. I have one heated cat house so this is just something for those not in those heated cat house. They don't like to share the big cat house but love these pet pads.Catlady2

I have a 16 year old outdoor cat who refuses to come inside, even when when it's painfully cold. I used to be constantly bringing her warm towels to lay with but this bed has made all the difference. Now when I go check on her, she's warm and cozy under her blankets! I would give 5 stars if the bed had more "squish" to it. This is my last hope to help my elderly dog with his skin allergy! I have tried several different kinds of dry food and medicated shampoos for him but nothing seems to work very long. Some days he is so miserable that I consider having him euthanized at 16 yrs old. I hope this food will help him, I started feeding this food to him today. I must had gotten a bad bag. I switch her to Purina One, Small Breed, after that, and she loves it. I have to measure it and only put what she needs because she loves it so much. My pug has loved the switch to Purina One Small Breed from a different, more expensive brand. I started to see the difference right away. His coat is shinier, his eyes clearer and he's got the energy of his puppy days. Maintaining his weight while still being able to enjoy his food is critical to his happiness and overall health. I've tried the Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Anti fungal Spray for Dogs and Cats on a few of our outside cats. They've been deflead but one still kept scratching and losing fur just above her tail. I'm not sure if it's an allergic reaction to the fleas or if it's the result of a thyroid problem. But we tried this spray and the itching stopped immediately. It's been almost 3 weeks and she still isn't scratching it. I also wanted to try this on some ringworm that a few of the outside cats have. I've been spraying this on for almost 3 weeks now but haven't really seen any improvement with the ringworm spots that I'm treating. Ringworm can respond slow to treatments anyway so I'm not sure if this is going to help with that or not. The spray is a pump and it has a light citrus smell, kind of like oranges. It will not harm your pet if they lick it. It didn't list a minimum age that you can use it on. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Keratin, and Aloe Vera. It's listed as an antifungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial. To use this you just spray the area tell really wet, twice daily for a week, then once daily for another week. You can continue every other day for another 2 weeks.Cricketoes

I read the reviews for this product but was still a bit skeptical for it to actually work. One of my cats (2 yr old orange tabby) literally scratched the size of a 50 cent bare spot (literally overnight) in center of his back below shoulder blade. By the end of the day the circle was warm red inflamed and gross. Being on a tight budget I did my research for home remedies. First I began applying a year old vet prescribed Dermalone antibiotic that was prescribed for one of my other cats for 3 days but area got worse. Then began applying Neosporin for 2 days lightly on and around scab now and ( luckily the spot was where he could not reach to lick off) and it did nothing as well. A week later purchased this product, followed the directions and a week later the area was completed healed. Scab dried and fell off and new skin looks perfect and normal. Unfortunately I dont know what this was for did not take him to a vet. Infected area did resemble pictures of ringworm online. Im not a vet but am thinking whatever it was it was some type of fungal infection. Benefits of product; it wasnt expensive, was easy to apply, and has a light pleasant scent.Debbie

I am so thankful to have found this today! My poor dog could not stop scratching and licking under his front legs, and they were raw and bleeding. He was whimpering but would not stop. I came home and sprayed the areas with this, and he didn’t freak out like I thought so I know it didn’t hurt! He became calm and only tried to lick a few times before he relaxed and rested. Product initially worked well. Combination of tone, vibration, and shock works well for training. My golden retriever responded well. Unfortunately the second time I went to charge the collar, the connection between the collar and the charger would not make contact. I chatted with cabelas and asked if they could send me a new charger dongle and they said I wanted that option I would need to work directly with Garmin. They gave me the option to return by mail, but I didn't want to be without the collar for that long. Instead I drove to the store to exchange it but they did not have the model available in the store. I returned it at the store and ordered a replacement on line. I bought this collar about a year ago, and it is still just as effective and powerful today. This has all of the capabilities I need for training and enjoying my time with my dog. With the multi-collar functionality, it’s also great for people who own multiple dogs as you would just need a new collar and program it to a different color code switch. We bought this a couple months ago! Best investment we ever made! Our dog doesn't like the neighbours dog and would bark like crazy every time he was out in the yard. put the ecollar on him and only had to use the shock button a couple times and it stopped the bad behaviour in its tracks! Love it! The only thing I noticed was the collar became unpaired from the remote after we took him to the lake to swim. Bought 2 bags of kitten food. After one was opened and fed to the kittens we noticed that it had expired since sept 2019!! 7 months. Seriously. !! Of course I grabbed away from kittens and now on the second day of eating this gross food,, one kitten is having terrible upset stomach. Gave it meds and seems to be getting better. We called to let them know the product was expired and got the “bring back in” then when we got there to do this they still had a shelf of expired food. What the heck. Just hoping another customer would not notice. Yuck!!!! We pulled all off the shelf and gave to them. Since a warning didn’t push them to check their product. Mother Dachshund had to have emergency surgery (perforated uterus) when pups were 5 days old…no choice but to wean them immediately. Bought Esbilac elsewhere 12 oz. for $25. Found it best to add to lukewarm water and stir to break up any lumps, 1 part to 2 parts water. Mix up just enough for one feeding…puppies don't seem to relish "leftovers". Found this on WalMart page for $9.88 and ordered two more "cans". Needed two more. Price had risen to $10.97 and image is different, but still beats PetsMart's $25.99 Internet price. And the puppies? 18 days old now, and tubby little butterballs, thanks to Esbilac! Pictures: Puppies at 2 days (before Esbilac), and 11 days later. Really quick delivery and looks great, a lot smaller than I imagined I bought a medium/large and it was just a bit bigger than my hand but it was too small to play with my dog with it she kept accidentally biting my fingers! She loved carrying it round and was her favourite toy for little bit, however she promptly chewed it to pieces within 4hours which I was very disappointed with as it was more expensive than other toys and needed something she wouldnt destroy. I bought it because she cant chew through her kong extreme so its not as durable as the other kong toys as it makes out, if youre looking for a durable toy for a dog that likes to chew I wouldnt recommend it for other dogs its a good toy.cjoh8519

I was a little weary ordering this bc some of the reviews said their dog chewed though it easy, but unless their dogs are like part shark and robot—-bc my dog is a big time on purpose destroyer of all toys and big time chewer, she destroyed all her stuff within 24 hours. Next day I went and bought this and she cant even put a dent in it, this toy is pretty tough! Im very pleased with its durability! I bought this toy a few years ago in store at Petco for my 50lb hound/pit mix, she's 5 now, and this has been her favorite toy by a long shot. I actually came on here to look at buying her a second one because she loses it on occasion, usually under furniture or down along the side of my bed, but once I find it for her, she's absolutely ecstatic and will run around in circles barking with joy to have it back. I don't even have to put anything in it, she just loves it as is, though I will on occasion put the kong sweet potato stuff'n in it if she's bored enough. It's also worth noting that she tends to chew straight through almost any toys I get her, but has only ever destroyed one kong toy and it was only because my 75lb husky has broken it first, so whenever I'm looking for new toys for her I go straight to the kong section.Kimiix

You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo

Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel
