Our Maltese is spoiled, I must admit….he has six other coats. I know that, in the Winter months, this will be the only one worn! Because of the warmth of this coat, he will no longer need to wear a sweater. Simply zip it up the back (so convenient) and utilize the rings for attaching the leash and out you go! I'm sure it will be more comfortable and warmer than wearing both a sweater and a light weight coat which doesn't provide much protection against the cold. About 2-3 years ago, I bought a pair of these booties for my golden retriever-mix service dog, Maggie. We live in northern Minnesota & have snow from November thru, um, April so Maggie needs paw protection often & in significant snow/sale. Previously I purchased cheaper boots for her but they always fell off or their material was too flimsy. I have learned that you get what you pay for with these quality paw protectors with the non-skid yet bendable "soles". Most importantly, tho, is that Ultra Paws have TWO (2) Velcro bands securing the boots to the dog paw. The booties do NOT fall off when you slide them on & tighten the Velcro correctly. When we are out & about, Maggie often gets stopped as people check out her fashionable boots. Okay, first off I didn't buy these through Smartpak (they didn't carry them.) I bought them years ago through Amazon. My boxer pup and I hike hundreds of miles every year. However, one year she was having trouble building up her callouses, so I got a set of these. Since then they never leave my pack while we are out and about. They are so useful it is foolish to not have a set. Did you pup cut their paw, no problem. Did you go too far and the pup has sore feet, problem solved. I have a Large 90 lbs Weimaraner, and the Size Large and they fit perfectly. The black part is nice and thick BUT NOT Hard like some other boots, so they are comfortable on his paws. It only took him like maybe 10 minutes to get used to them. Mostly because he LOOVES to go outside, so I just side tracked him by opening the front door so he was to excited about going outside, he didnt have time to really concentrate on these new weird things on his feet. My pup had a benign growth on his leg removed because he was constantly licking it. Great surgical suit. Good quality material and workmanship plus it looks fabulous! If your dog needs to wear something to stop them interfering with incisions post surgery then this suit works a treat and is much kinder to them than the dreaded cone. Very glad I purchased this. Our dog developed an inflamed bladder due to chemotherapy he was taking for cancer. He went from never having an accident to completely losing bladder control. These have been a life saver! My only complaint is that they do shrink a bit after washing, so I had to order the extenders in order to be able to use them after they’ve been washed a few times. My dog was very close to the upper limit for this size, so I would suggest ordering the next larger size if your dog is close to the next size up. Other than that, it’s a great product.ROBERT M.

Upon arrival I inspected it and there was something on the inside padding that my dog would lay on. It was yellowish in color as if it had been used. It is great for me because I can carry my kitty on my back and it is great for my kitty because he can easily go into the pack and look out of the vents and see what is going on or lie down and be away from everything if he wants to. You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo

Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel

Bought this harness when I (and family) adopted our new retriever mix and were required to get a martingale harness as part of the adoption agreement. We've had him for just over two weeks now and I’m disappointed to discover that the straps of the harness we bought then have frayed dramatically at several points in such a short time; including one point at which a key strap is holding on by just a few threads! It seemed to fit relatively well during the time we have been using it. I’ve seen discussion that this kind of thing starts with a nick in the side of the strap, that must somehow have been caused by the dog chewing and/or scratching. As part of our work to train our dog, we’ve been very aware of his overall behavior, especially when going for walks. He’s not a puppy and never actively scratched or bit at the harness to our knowledge but, of course, it’s not impossible that this might have happened once or twice. I do question, however, the value of a dog harness that is unable to stand up to that kind of treatment.RalphtheDog

My Luna is a 2yr old black lab-pitbull mix. She's husky, friendly, and a puller when she's on a lead. Having a harness that helps with the pulling is a blessing. She loves going on walks but will drag you down the sidewalk. Since using the easy walk harness regularly, she has much better behaved. The easy walk harness goes around her chest and back and has a leash attachment on the front. This bowl has saved our home and our dog from destruction! Our elderly dog, Joey, was not able to bend over easily to drink. He kept falling into a regular bowl and tipped over whatever contraption we put together to elevate it. After extensive research, we found this. It is heavy and very sturdy. It's at the perfect height for him. He can easily drink and never tips this over. Our other dog and cats are also able to reach this bowl, making it ideal for all sized pets. I bought these bowls to go with ones I had bought years ago to help my old arthritic border collie she has lumbar sacral disease and bending to eat or drink was an issue. We had stands for food ,these were bought for water. The large is half the height of the old ones we have but high enough for water . Great fitting harness and the adjustable neck section is great . I've had other harnesses in the past and whilst they fit my English Staffordshire around the body I found they got to a point where they were difficult to get on and off over his big lump of a head . Overall a great product and I'll definitely look at getting the bigger one once he outgrows this one .Scott M

I have a 70lb Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless). I purchased both the Hurtta Cooling Coat and the Swamp Cooler Dog Vest by Ruffwear. Both are made from similar material and work the same way. The Hurtta coat has much more coverage, has extended hind end flaps and front chest flaps, resembles a horse jacket. Whereas the Ruffwear is more of a fitted vest. I would have given the Hurtta Cooling Coat 5 stars however, the stitching that secured the chest strap isn't reinforced and tore out of the material the first time used. I then outfitted the dog in the Ruffwear Swamp Vest, which worked beautifully. Since my dog is hairless it was easy to feel how well the vest worked. Placing my hand on exposed skin, then touching skin under the vest, there was a noticeable difference in temperature however his skin was dry – just cooler. I have stitched the Hurtta strap back on and feel it will be equally as good if not better than the Ruffwear due to it's increased surface area.Laura

These disposables were a life saver as we struggled to find washable bottoms that fit our Yorkie/Schnauzer mix, Its been challenging to find a vet to spay her during Covid so we were not prepared for the blood stains everywhere she sat her bottom. These wont disappoint. Fit true to size.Lady

There was only ONE tab, not two. I had to tape my diaper in order for it to stay on my dog. These diapers are the WORST diapers I’ve ever seen. The instructions and all the pictures say there’s two tabs. I had to get long pieces of clear tape and tape the side that didn’t have the tab and the side with the existing tab to make sure it wouldn’t come off. I tried to put the first one back on my dog and there were holes in it when I took it off once because I had to tape it. I’ve never seen such poor quality things. I could’ve made a diaper and it would still be better than these diapers and I’m not the crafty type. If there was a zero star option I would put that. These are absolutely horrible.Human

This Voyager dog harness is great for my pup! I am training him to walk on a leash and this is so helpful so that I don’t pull on his neck. I got the size XXS for him as he was 4 lbs. He is now almost 8 lbs and it still fits him but I am going to buy another one in a bigger size so I can keep it until he is fully grown. They are adjustable so I will probably get size Small. I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one. The ease of the new one does not compare but the duribilty was just not there for us on this particular harness. If you dont have a chewer it is highly recommendedMooncat84

I am dog trainer, I have been using Electric Collars for over 15 years. I was married with another major brand for me it was the best brand on electric collars I even refused to try new ones. One day I was traveling to a seminar in Denver with my Mondioring sport dog and the TSA at the airport remove my 2 electric collars from my carry on bag. Once in the seminar I met a participant who has an extra 300TS and she offered to sell the collar to me I was in need of a collar so I agree and bought the collar from her. At the end of the 1rst day of the seminar I was almost convinced that the 300TS was superior to my other collars even my most expensive one. There is 2 delivery buttons the black which is the stem mode and the red which is the boost and deliver up to 20 times your stem level but thiscan be modified to fit you dogs needs, The level of electricity can be locked making impossible to shock your dog. The receiver has light which it can be us as flashlight or to locate your dog in those real dark nightsringdogs

Highly recommend! My dog never came when called . Now she does . She had other really unwanted behaviors that we had such a hard time getting rid of like nipping at our knees to get attention, pulling on her collar, bark at other dogs, and even rip the leash out of our hands while trying to walk her and run crazily through the backyard. We've tried everything- positive reinforcement, harnesses, muzzles,all types of collars and leashes-nothing…ever…worked… After a bit of training I don’t even have to press the button, She knows it’s there. It took me awhile to really use this product consistently, but I'm glad I did. I have a stubborn bulldog mix that I rescued from my local animal shelter and she had lots of bad habits that were getting worse over time. My dog's biggest problems were leash pulling, not listening to come/sit, jumping on our bed and – worst of all – aggression toward other dogs, usually while on walks, and even my husband. I looked into sending her away to a local training camp that was very expensive. When I got their paperwork, one of the terms of agreement was you had to buy and use this model of training collar. Before spending thousands of dollars, I decided to try to train her myself using this collar and send her to camp if it didnt work since I would have to buy and learn to use the collar either way. I highly recommend educating yourself properly first before you start training your dog with ANY e-collar. I watched all of the training videos on the official e-collar technologies website, ecollar.com, and that helped alot with training my dog. Now, walks are actually fun and I'm not worried about my dog hurting my husband or other dogs, and I'm not stressed out by my dog's behavior anymore. I cant emphasize enough to start slow with the remote to avoid freaking the dog out – a lot of bad behavior comes from anxiety and fear, you don't want to make it worse. My dog is 1 year old and only gets bones / tough toys because she likes to chew and it great at tearing things up. Usually Kong toys hold up and she can’t completely destroy them, but that is not the case here. She completely tore the black pieces off and made her way to ripping the entire thing to shreds. We bought this for our Boxer pup who is a heavy chewer. Within minutes, she had several of the black spots chewed off and we had to throw the whole thing, and what we could find of the spots, in the trash. Later on in the day, she started vomiting and some of the black spots she had chewed off were coming back up. Kong is supposed to be a reputable company with durable toys and this was definitely a wake up call to be extra careful about their toys in the future. This is a neat toy- donut with nubs and has a squeaky sound if it hits off the ground correctly. Our pups unfortunately busted this in under 10 minutes. I did notice that the packing said light to moderate chewing but our pups weren’t chewing aggressively. I would not recommend buying this. It is not durable like other products in the Kong line.Liz

I have spent months and experimented with many variations of this product. In my opinion after several hundreds of dollars this is the best product on the market. My situation was different, not an old dog or a nervous toddler. I rescued a breeder nightmare who had symptoms, and subsequent medical issues, of a geriatric age dog yet he was a puppy. So fit elasticity, ability to maintain position while moving—there was so many more factors involved in this purchase. Holds and fits well, some leakage, however that is only when full or close to it. I have a senior Daschund, it is hard to find a diaper that will stay on him. These have worked quite well and at .57 per diaper the price is good as well.Jennifer
