I have a 96lb lab mix, he is an extremely strong chewer. He has chewed through 2 seatbelts in less than 10 minutes and usually tears through toys in a matter of minutes. Soft toys never last long in my house. Really surprised by the other reviews and has me wondering if they changed this toy since, because not only does he love this, but it's held up really well so far and it's been 4 days! It says mydogtoy .com on the side, so maybe the company changed? Either way, I highly recommend this toy for a strong chewer. Squeakers don't work so well bc the fabric is so thick and tightly sewn, but that doesn't bother me.
My pit mix usually goes through toys in a matter of minutes; even with supervised play! So when I first decided to give this toy a try I honestly thought it would end up in the toy graveyard after a couple play sessions like the rest; but to my surprise it is still holding strong. Our puppy LOVED LOVED LOVED Mr. Bill….unfortunately he is an agressive chewer and destroyed him after two weeks, but please note that he carried it around 24/7. He would panic if we hid it from him. This Mr. Bill toy is bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise. I also expected a wheezing/squeaky sound to come from it, but no it does indeed have a voice box and it shouts "OH NOOOOOOOO!" when my dog bites on his belly. Its durable, my baby usually destroys toys in a day (poor lambchop didn't have a chance), but she loves this one and carries it around and it has survived a week so far! My dogs liked Squirrel but didn't love it. I've had it with all three of my dogs: a lab/pit mix, lab/catahoula mix, and Shih Tzu mix. Best floating toy we've found and we've used a bunch – Frisbees made of neoprene, rubbery frisbee things with buoyant material in them, tennis balls, floating kongs, plastic bumpers, floating animal toys but this is by far the best. We've had four golden retrievers over the last few years and live on a lake. When I ran across this while searching for a new water fetch toy it was exactly what I wanted. The trouble with all the other toys we've tried is they are either too low profile or dark in color – in both cases they would get "lost" in the water and it's hard for the dogs to track unless the water is flat calm. With the chuckit toys (shark fin, duck butt or gator) the bright color and the fact they sit 4" or so inches above the water line make them easy to find. Like ALL of the other options (save for tennis balls) these are NOT CHEW TOYS! Yes, if you let your dog alone with it they will eviscerate it quickly. But the fabric is tough, the rubber is soft and it flies great. I'll throw these 100' or so off the pier and the dogs will fetch them for hours. We've bought some for friends and have worn a few out but will keep coming back to these!B.T.

I went to IKEA Apr. of 2021, and it was then that I first saw BLÅHAJ. I wanted to get it then but my mom talked me out of it. She promised later that day that we'd get one the next time we went to IKEA. Flash forward to early Dec. of that same year, and we're going for another IKEA trip. Upon approaching the soft toys area, to my dismay, they did not have a single BLÅHAJ in stock. I was heartbroken to say the least. From that day until late Jan. of 2022, I checked the website every few days to see if it had come back in stock. Almost every time, I didn't get the results I wanted. Suddenly, a few days after it hit Feb, BLÅHAJ was listed as being available for pickup. I convinced my mom to go the coming weekend, and we waited in the pickup area once we arrived. After several minutes, an employee came out holding it, then handed it to me, and at that point, I knew my quest for BLÅHAJ was finally complete Phenomenal product and definitely worth waiting 10 months for.Colin W.
This shark is so huggable and lovable and it's so soft, also I'm trans so I am legally required to own one. But I don't regret it. If someone you know wants one they might be a boymoder so make sure to make sure they're ok because being a boymoder sucks. Also make sure to support your friends if they decide to come out to you. It takes a lot of courage to even come out as not straight and from personal experience it won't change your relationship with them outside of it being slightly different because of a different name or just knowing they might be into you no matter your gender.Samantha T.
It's a giant shark plush what do you expect? It's perfect in everyway: soft fuzzy outside, durable stuffing inside, the perfect shape to cuddle, and it has a goofy grin. When I saw the Blahaj online I immediately fell in love, and seeing it's popularity I can tell many others love it too! Absolutely perfect size to sleep with, and comfy to bat. The boyfriend loved it so much that I got one for his birthday. My pup absolutely loves this shark to (eventual) pieces. He's a German Shepherd and English Bulldog mix (I know, weird combination). He is a big boy and LOVES to chew. I first went out on a limb and bought one for him when he was about 3 months old. He was already tearing apart literally every toy he could and I hoped that maybe this would last for at least a few days and help with teething. Nearly constant chewing and about 3 months later, I finally had to put his original one in the trash and replaced it with another one that I had bought a few weeks ago. He was so thrilled to have a new one (his old one was really dead to be honest, the innards had started to become outards lol but still, it had lasted so long compared to other toys). He knows and loves when we tell him "Klaus, go get your shark!" he runs around the house until he finds it and then brings it to us to throw around for him. He IS a puppy still at 6 months now, but he is also huge at 51 lbs and really really loves to chew. I know there are some not great reviews on here, but we had a great experience with this and I'm about to purchase at least 2 more to have as backups because of how much he loves this thing. My only complaint so far is that strings tend to start coming off fairly soon. It didn't affect the integrity of the toy for quite a long time though.Avery
I bought this for my sister. She has a medium sized rat terrier that loves to tear apart everything he can get his mouth on. All toys not made of hard silicon end up unusable within the day. This one has lasted four days already with his unrelenting gnawing without a couple fraying threads around the fins. Best purchase!Ashe
I bought this toy for my brother and sister in laws' black lab. He's pretty infamous for destroying his toys, but not this one! He was given this toy last Christmas (2020) and it is still going strong! For those who say it doesn't last chewing, please note the description states: "Tuffy Dog Toys are best used as interactive play toys, and not chew toys." it also says on the packaging that it isn't to be used for chewing, and if your dog wants to chew, give them something they can chew on.
