Serta Dog Bed Replacement Covers For Sale (2024 Update)

You can wash the outside of the bed fan but the inside is a paper bag filled with chopped up foam that can't be washed. i dont about everyione but I'll bet there goes outside and gets stinky. why would you sell a bed without a serviceable liner in it. I am thinking about throwing the inside bag away and buying another bed from a dufferent company that i can put inside that can be washed. The problem is that dog loves it ir i would throw it away. i have resirted to putting a large garbage bag over the stinky part so she can still use it until I can do better. To much work. Not worth it!!!Linda

This probably isn’t the review you’d expect, but my daughter LOVES this bed. When she was a few months old, we went on a family vacation and in lieu of spending $180 for a DockATot, we purchased this instead. This bed has literally been her obsession since that trip. Any time she sees it (even when I bring it downstairs to wash), she starts panting like a dog and rushes over to try and lay on it. We used it past the vacation and put it into her crib at home. She’s 20 months old now, and we’re trying to transition her to a toddler bed, but she keeps tossing and turning all night because she loves this dang dog bed so much and her regular toddler mattress just isn’t good enough for her. I came here to figure out what the minky fabric is that covers this darn bed so I can buy a fitted sheet of the same/similar texture to try and appease her and figured I would leave a review while I was here. We bought an extra when she was in daycare because she was having a rough time during nap time. Ohhh the laughs we got when I brought the dog bed in.. but it worked and she went right to sleep!Heather

It shrunk in size! Very disappointed in this purchase. They are making them smaller and the height is only 6 in compared to what the dimensions on the site saying 8 inches tall, they should be careful about that. They are making them smaller and that's to bad. Shrinkflation? Now my cat owns it but barely big enough for him. My Boston terrier is totally bummed about this 😢. This is a sturdy, firm mat that our Lab and our Dachshunds all use. It has withstood our Lab, the ultimate furniture devoured, and that is high praise. I have removed and washed the cover, and it was easy to put back on.Naj

I purchased my Furhaven dog bed and an extra cover through Amazon and they were very nice and plush but I decided to order my next dog bed cover from Furhaven . I haven’t even used it one week and you can see a lot of bare spots where there is no fur.Lisa

120 pound Labrador loves this thing. Keeps him up off the floor. Any dirt or hair makes it through the material and to the floor below keeping him up and out of any mess. Sleeps like a little puppy on it, very comfortable. Lasts about six months to a year with his nails eventually tearing a hole in it. However the replacement cover is very economically priced and arrives almost next day with no shipping. Fantastic purchase for me and my dog.jonathahallida-3

My dog loves to curl up when she sleeps. She also loves to rest her head on a pillow. This bed cradles her as she curls up and the walls act as a pillow not matter how she lays. It's cushy and seems well made. Seems to run a small as I got her a large (she's just under 40lbs), and while it fits her, I thought it would be bigger. She takes up LL the space.Natalie

We have purchased the Premium Fleece Dog Bed for many of our dogs and they are always enjoyed by our dogs. They seem to find them comfortable to snuggle into the fleece and the soft, cushy filling. They are easy to clean with the quick zip-off cover. They fit nicely in spaces in any room. Our dog also has the LLBean couch bed and has really liked that too. I cover the couch bed with an LLBean dog blanket that I can wash quickly because it is not as easy to remove/replace the couch bed cover for washing as how easily the Premium Fleece Dog Bed cover can be washed. I purchased the Premium Fleece Dog Bed Set, Medium, Rectangular as well as the Replacement Cover in Denim. I have a 12 lb. Chihuahua/Fox Terrier that is about the size of an average Jack Russell or Beagle and she loves, loves, loves her bed. The padding is well made and has a little bit of a groove all around with a little bit of a bump in the center. So it is not completely flat, which I have learned from observing our furry pet that it serves a purpose. She likes to rest within the groove for security. On other days she likes to rest her head and chest on the bump in the center which elevates her a little bit. Our dog used have a cheap bed that became too soft and did not hold up well once it got old. Especially when she laid against the side walls. It had a tendency to flatten out. Plus, it had a plush-life fabric that was too warm in the summertime, and she would hang partially off the bed onto the hardwood floor which is cooler. So, comfort, temperature, structure, and durability were factors taken into consideration in searching for a new bed. I had read reviews about the padding falling apart in the washer or tearing from digging. I have not had to wash the pad because I have covered the bed and denim cover with a crib-size bed pad and a fitted bedsheet for added protection; and because our pooch has always enjoyed the feel and texture of a bedsheet. She just got used to looking for cooling spots on her beds after we tried keeping her cool on other retailer beds that had either foam or cheap fill which caused her become too warm. But she does love her Sherpa adult throw. Not familiar with L.L. Bean pet products, I decided to purchase the bed set that came with the fleece cover and also ordered the replacement cover in denim which is a soft denim. It is not stiff or rough as in jean denim. I was concerned the fleece cover might be too warm, and I wanted to have the option to change from a warmer cover to a cooler one being that it was summertime when my order arrived, so that was the reason in my purchasing the denim replacement cover as well. When my order arrived, I placed the denim cover on the pad and it has held up really well. It doesn't show dirt and our pooch likes it. I was afraid it would rip when she sniffed the bed and began digging but that has not been the case. So it has stood pretty well to that. I have not replaced the denim cover with the fleece cover yet, but weather is starting to change and getting cooler. I will probably change from the denim liner to the Sherpa liner soon. I also want to add that I ordered a medium size bed which is a little bigger than what is recommended for a dog her weight/size because she likes to spread out. That was also one reason why I chose a bed that is not enclosed or has side walls. If it's any help to anyone reading this review, the medium bed is about four inches short the length of a baby crib mattress. It's the best bed I have bought. I haven't seen anything else at other stores that meet the same quality of L.L. Bean products, and I highly recommend this bed.Mimi

We use these in our hotel for our guests that bring their dogs and, oh boy, do we get a LOT of guests with adorable dogs of all ages and sizes. These beds are holding up amazingly well through multiple washings. I'm actually here on the LL Bean website to order more because we have had so many dogs staying with us, we have had nights where we did not have enough dog beds to accommodate all of our four-legged guests. I highly recommend these beds. We have the Platinum color and they look very classy and are still so durable and stain-resistant. I purchased two of these raised beds (large size) for my two large 8 year old Labradors (55 & 60 pounds) about 18 months ago. I am impressed on the durability of the mesh and very happy with the strong, yet light weight frames. These beds keep my dogs clean, and are easy to keep clean and fresh with a spray of my garden hose. I can easily move them inside when night time temp drop. They support my older large dogs, (cradle them) keep them comfortable, and off the ground. One of my dogs likes to scratch the surface before she lies in her bed, and has shredded many CostCo and Sam's Club plush beds at $40-$60 within a couple months. After 18 months of daily use, she finally tore a few small holes in the mesh cover…I was very pleased that the replacement mesh covers were only $11 each. I would highly recommend these pet beds to anyone.CautiousCarefulConsumer

I cannot tell you how much I like this bed! The value for the price is tremendous! Friends have purchased similar but much higher priced dog beds that have not held up nearly as well. After 5+ years of use and abuse by 100+ lb. dogs, 80+ lb. kids, and a few cats (one of which loved to sharpen his claws on the cover) I have finally had to replace the cover. The new cover went on easily and looks great. I would recommend this dog bed to anyone with the caveat that it may rust and the screws will 'freeze up' if left out in the weather. Mine has spent most of its life outside, but under a deep eave. It gets wet, but not soaked. It gets direct sun, but only in the very late afternoon. Two of the 4 screws would not budge when I changed the cover – luckily, only one on each end – but I suspect a little WD-40 would have solved that problem. That said, 'bang for your buck', you can't go wrong with this pet bed!Anolelis

Knockoffs have wrong sizes, they don't last a year in the AZ sun, poorly made, cheap materials. That is what you get when you DO NOT buy OEM! The Coolaroo OEM cover costs maybe $3-$5 more than a knockoff, but lasts 2-3 years, compared to 6 months, so do the math, how many do you buy in 3 years? SIX? or ONE? Coolaroo covers are heavy duty, well stitched, still hard to install, but that is a condition of the design. When I finished installing two new covers, the dogs circled me during the assembly, waiting to see which one could get the first one! As soon as I put it down, they were on it and when the winner got his, they came back to me, circling as I replaced the second cover. Wash, rinse, complete! On it!! My original Coolaro bed I found as someone was throwing it out. It seemed unused at that time. I keep it outdoors in the summer, but put it away for the winter. The frame and the material hold up extremely well, however, the stitching rots from weathering, but it has lastsed me 3-4 years before I needed the replacement cover. Until now, I sewed up where some of the stitching was gone with dental floss, but getting a new cover makes it look much nicer. I have a 60 pound dog that fits easily on the large size. I like the fact that the rain goes right thru and it dries quickly in the sun. The dog waits until it is dry to lay on it. In the meantime he lays on the hard driveway or ground which is not good for his joints. You might think that standing on it would be hard on the matierial (concentrated weight area), but laying or standing on it, it holds up well.Gail the dog lover

I have used the medium size cool-a-roo bed on our back porch when I just had medium sized dogs and it lasted a long time. When it was "worn out" I bought the large size because I now have a Golden Retriever. The material seemed to tear soon after purchase, but one of my medium-sized dogs continued to use it. I finally decided to get a replacement cover hoping it will last longer because one of my dogs really loves it. I'm afraid to get the medium size (even though it fits her better) because I don't want the Golden to break it. The dogs (3) starting to show a little wear to the cover ,( my choice to replace but still good wear to this product ) after a couple years their toe nails are going thru .
