These are the best toughest dog toys ever. We have two terriers 1 – parsons Russell that kills any toy in 5 seconds,and leaves the toy as a bag. We have had many of these ruff and tuff toys we still have a whole skunk left, but ears have had a bit of a bashing but the body still whole with stuffing and squeaky in tact, we do have others left with some parts damaged but others still whole but the sweeky a bit flat sounding,which is not a bad thing. We have bought these two new ones for our two for Christmas so I can put the old ones in the washing machine. We love this. I only use it as a slow feeder, and my dog loves knocking this thing around. I like that it doesn't get him overly excited like some other big slow feeders do. It releases kibble at a good rate and gets him moving about. Plus, it's quiet. My only complaint is it can be hard to load (I spoon kibble into the slot), but I could probably find a funnel and use the holes instead. I always take it away as soon as he's done, so he's had very minimal play with it. It's a good thick rubber, but I don't think it would withstand an actual chew session. Size is larger than I expected but my dog can still grab it and carry it if she squishes it on the area where the slit is for putting in treats. The larger hole is a bit large – most the treats we have come out pretty quickly (or she's just very smart). That said, this is better than all the other treat kongs or toys I've bought! She's engaged with it, likes to chew on it (seems durable enough to let her do so) and likes us to throw it even without treats (I think she likes the wild bouncing). When I read that this toy was "better than a stick," I had to see for myself. Our Boston *loves* bringing sticks inside the house to chew on. Honestly, it was a bit of a pain to clean up after. This stick is a great alternative. While you're not supposed to let your dogs chew on it for an extended period of time, we find that it has just enough "crunch" to help her get her energy out before she moves on to something else. Our Lab loves this toy and we've had it for a few months and she won't put it down. Loves to fetch it and play tug of war with it. The best part is how long it's lasted, cause when she finally pulled the crinkley water bottle out of it she still loved it! And we just put another empty water bottle in it and it's just like new again. You have to leave the water bottle cap on the water bottle and squish it just enough to put it back in. My dog has always been obsessed with chewing on water bottles but it didn't take him long to tear them apart. Plus, I would always have to watch him to make sure he doesn't swallow any of it. He is a vulture when it comes to toys, but this "Crinkit" does the job and stands up through the test of times! He absolutely loves THIS toy! Still have the crinkle of the water bottle that he loves, but don't have to worry about plastic pieces everywhere. I have a gigantic chocolate lab who absolutely loves this toy. I did have to replace the bottle; but frankly she loves it empty nearly as much. This toy is designed as a “tuff” dog pull and tug toy, but save your money. My friend’s medium- sized dog loved it, but the seams are not well sewn and the toy came apart in several places so quickly that the rest of the toy looked brand new. The fabric frays so badly it would be very hard to repair the tear. I wish I had done some research before I picked this up for my friend. A nice length of heavy rope would have made a better gift. I’d have to find my original receipt and packaging (long gone) and then pay to ship the toy back to Hartz for a refund. Lesson learned. Very disappointing.Judym
This toy is excellent if you don't want stuffing all over your living room floor; however, I think my dogs are only interested in the toys they can destroy. This one is such a challenge they aren't much interested in it. The dog that loves squeakers hasn't squeaked it at all or attempted "surgery" to remove said squeaker like he does other toys. The dog that loves bones and throwing things in the air also showed no interest. Our golden retriever did carry it around a couple of times. She prefers toys/socks that can hang out of her mouth a little floppy-like, but this is pretty stiff. She's also the one that like to tear things up – she didn't attempt to with this toy. If nothing else, I got an adorable picture of her with it. I did have a couple cats show a little interest….but mostly as a pillow.jbrinley
First off. Doggie loved the toy. But was ripped open in 5 minutes. Toy got sewn up and Doggo was a bit more gentle for a few weeks but eventually disemboweled it and shredded the rope. This is SOP for Doggo so, 2 weeks is a good survival rate for toys. Be nice if we could get a bit more time out of a toy. Even Kong toys don’t stand up. Doggo is a standard poodle.DWCisme

I was disappointed since this lasted literally 30min of supervised play – the star 'arms' invite for chewing which they did, and soon enough the white stuffing came out. The dogs loved the toy, but at $35 it is a bit pricey for less than an hour use. I am not sure what the tuff scale goes by – for some reason we have had the Lobster for more than a month now without damages, and the rabbit lasted us a month too – the octopus was destroyed within the first hour.Helen
I bought this for our adult German Shepherd. As it's not no. 10 on the Tuff scale I didn't expect it to last long before he ripped it to pieces. Well every dog is different and all I can say is he played with it for 2 weeks before ripping it up. As it's made from tough material & stitching it did take some effort to rip and he enjoyed it. I think he does it as a reaction to us seeming to no longer want to play with the toy with him. Oh well, value for money.Sinead W
Didn't even last 5 minutes without being turned into confetti by my 15kg english staffy. Pretty disappointing considering it's the highest Tuffy rating out of all of their toys. Petcircle gave me a store credit when I phoned thankfully, but I will never buy a Tuffy toy again.Benjamin
