Use chuckit products regularly so was excited to find this for my dogs. It wasn't cheap but I thought it would be worth it for a new toy as none of my other chuckit products have had to be replaced because they are durable. Ii was disappointed however that the first time playing with it (just fetch) it started to fall apart. My dogs do not chew to destroy toys so this is definitely not what happened. I'm sad to have spent so much and it not be the quality I was expectingkimberly.b

This is probably one of the worst toys I have ever gotten my dog. She's 45lbs and literally broke this thing in 5 minutes by the time I finished bringing in the rest of my stuff from target she had already chewed off an end. Do not waste your moneymperez440

I wanted to really love this toy. It's actually the second time I bought it…but only out of desperation because it lasted longer than all the other toys my dog has destroyed. I don't have a big dog but he's a determined chewer and can destroy ANYTHING but a Kong. He's a 1 yr old lab/maybe husky/maybe retriever/viszla mix (we think). He LOVED LOVED LOVED this toy but chewed the rope off straight out of the gate. He used that weakness to find a spot to tear in the fabric and reveal the rubber and it was over from there. To be fair if you're using this the right way (for fetch instead of it ending up as a chew toy) it will likely last much, much longer. It's nice and light and throws well and was well-liked by my pup.G.i.t.P.

A friend of ours got out dog just the bumper part of this combo and it has been huge it. It received serious work every day at the beach, and as you can see from my photos even had some group play with several other big dogs. Seemed reasonably durable. It was the favored water toy this trip and we will be getting another if and when this on expires.TN Doodle Dad

I have a German shepherd who loves the pool. We live in a desert, so it's a great way to keep him active in the summer. Previously, I would use the orange Chuckit! balls for pool play because they are very durable and they're his absolute favorite, but he would have to bob a lot to grasp them which left him snorting up a lot of chlorine water. I found this product and felt it would be much easier for him to snag from the water. After two hours of play it held up pretty well. But I am worried it won't last long. He loved it, and had a blast fetching it over and over but he clamps down pretty hard when grabbing it. With his large teeth and strong bite, it made a lot of popping sounds as he would swim it back to the steps and readjust his hold on it. He punctured it quite a bit, but it hasn't fallen apart yet. Some of the stitching is coming undone on the blue ends and they are very weak. It may last longer if you can sew. When he gets it out of the water he does squeeze it as if trying to squeak it, but he's good at stopping when I tell him to. It probably wouldn't last an hour if I let him chew it and he's not even one to destroy toys. There's only been a few toys that have broken from him playing and it's almost always because his teeth puncture it and the stuffing starts falling out. Once this happens our golden retriever will take it and rip it to pieces. This one he is not allowed to have without supervision and only in the pool because it definitely won't last. Our golden actually hates the water, so we don't have to worry about her tearing it up. If you have a dog with a strong bite, or one that loves to chew, I'm not confident this will hold up very well. But I still really like it and it makes a great water toy. It's bright, and floats well. It was easy for my shepherd to grab onto without losing it. He loved it and wasn't very happy I took it from him when we headed back inside. If this one falls apart too soon, I may have to find a more durable pool toy. My camera was dead, but I managed to get some pictures from my phone. I included some photos after coming back inside showing the punctures and the broken stitching on one end after 2 hours of play and limited chewing. The damage was mostly from him just grabbing it from the water as I did not let him chew it outside the water for very long. Update 5/22 – added some photos after about 6 more hours of use. It fell apart around the tag and the inside ended up slipping right out. My shepherd ended up still fetching just the inside. I'm sad that it fell apart so quickly and will have to find something that won't unravel with such a short time of play.F.N.

After some delivery issues, where the toy arrived a few days later than expected, I quickly presented the pizza toy to my lab mix. She loved the toy, and it seemed really well made upon first inspection. She had fun trying to make it squeak (a pleasant surprise!) and throwing it around, but it wasn't long before she was ripping it apart at the seams. It was a nice 20 minutes she had, but then it was back to her hard chew toys. I'd recommend for dogs that aren't so chew happy!Kasey M.

My 3 year old Lab,Betty loves it. She walks around the house with in her mouth and takes it everywhere. The great thing is that there is a squeaker which she loves. But there is 2 squeakers inside which is even better because she breaks squeakers often so this one technically has a spare in case she breaks one. This ring was the best investment! My pup goes through most chew toys in minutes as she LOVES to chew. This ring lasted a little over 7 months before she got to the red “safety” layer. I sent it in for the guarantee (paid shipping both ways, around $15) and got a brand new one! My pup has been chomping the new one for almost 2 months and it’s going strong. HIGHLY recommend for pups that love to chew! I want to mention that it is fairly large and heavy (my pup loves to swing it around and it has a somewhat frightening loud drop – but you get used to it). It also smells rubbery (because it’s a really high quality rubber) and now my pup thinks things like erasers are her toys. But with those things in mind this is one of my pup’s favorite toys and I will now forever have a goughnuts (maxx 50) ring for her to chew!lizzie.p

I liked that this chew toy was durable and had some weight to it, but my dog doesn’t play with the toy at all. I believe this is the toy he could not “destroy” and didn’t want anything to do with it. It did have a rubbery smell, so he might have been turned off by that, but it was a waste of money for me. I would recommend this chew stick to anyone with larger dogs that have a big bite, because I’m sure it definitely let’s them enjoy themselves more.katrina.s

This is an amazing product, tough, good size & well made. Mabel my dog took to it right away….and then…..when it wouldn't break up or fall apart – she wasn't that impressed. HOWEVER – as her other toys are getting ruined & chucked, there is less choice for her & she is having another "go" at the GoughNut. So not overly satisfying for her at this early stage – but VERY satisfying as an owner. I can see that in no time – this will be her only chewing toy remaining & it will last. Currently I use it as fetch play with her & she very happy – and it will become part of her routine in a short while I think. GREAT VALUEErica

Our lab is a destructive chewer and had already gnawed right through several toys when Chopper & Otis was recommended to us. The Big Dawg Dumbbell (extra large size) was the first toy we bought, and he was an immediate fan. It is quite heavy, but the rubber bounces multiple times, even when tossed gently. He enjoys playing fetch and tug of war with it in addition to gnawing and pawing at it. It is easy to clean and its surface is appealingly smooth. Definitely recommend for power chewers.Simon

Our Lab loves this toy and we've had it for a few months and she won't put it down. Loves to fetch it and play tug of war with it. The best part is how long it's lasted, cause when she finally pulled the crinkley water bottle out of it she still loved it! And we just put another empty water bottle in it and it's just like new again. You have to leave the water bottle cap on the water bottle and squish it just enough to put it back in. My dog has always been obsessed with chewing on water bottles but it didn't take him long to tear them apart. Plus, I would always have to watch him to make sure he doesn't swallow any of it. He is a vulture when it comes to toys, but this "Crinkit" does the job and stands up through the test of times! He absolutely loves THIS toy! Still have the crinkle of the water bottle that he loves, but don't have to worry about plastic pieces everywhere. The great thing about it is, you can replace the water bottle inside whenever it starts to lose it's "crinkling sound". This toy is a must for any pup that loves crinkling plastic like mine does. I have a gigantic chocolate lab who absolutely loves this toy. I did have to replace the bottle; but frankly she loves it empty nearly as much. I was very disappointed when I first gave the toy to my dog and she ate it in 20 minutes! My dog is a chewer and chews on EVERYTHING so I got her a toy that's supposed to be puncture proof… Guess that didn't work. I would not get my dog another one of these toys. We have a golden doodle that is infatuated with rocks! It's like his favorite thing ever. We have tried every toy under the sun for him to play with, but he always goes back to rocks. So, when I found this "rock", I thought just maybe. And, sure enough, he will play with those over any rock any day now! And, hopefully save his teeth a little bit longer. So far so good, my 11 month old frenchie really likes this toy. His name is Iggy so I have a hard time passing up any piggy toys I find. As soon as I saw this I knew it was going to be perfect for him! He’s small, 26lbs, but with a big strong jaw. He rips most stuffed animals to bits within less than a half hour, so I usually shy away from stuffed toys. Some of the other reviews did make me laugh, it does feel like a brick when you throw it. It feels so tough, I couldn’t get the squeakers to squeak by squeezing it with my hand. My pup likes playing fetch with it and will whip it around by the tail. My kids and I jokingly call it the “indestructible pig” in a funny radio announcer voice. When you open the package they give it a rating of 8 out of 10 for toughness. So I could see how maybe some of the bigger dog breeds of power chewers might be able to cause more damage. It’s a perfect fit for my mini power chewer!Tiffany N

I received this for my dog to try! It feels really durable, I was surprised it didn't have a squeaky toy in it, I think this is the reason my dog didn't take to it right away. It is long and a good size for a larger dogs mouth which fit my dog well. Once my dog decided he liked this toy it took him probably 10 minutes to destroy it. The nose ripped immediately off which he did play with for quite while after he ripped the rest of the animal apart. The stuffing in it is not the normal stuffing I have seen in a dog toy it was really soft and hard to explain, but I picked it immediatly up for fear that he would swallow it and it just did not look like it would pass easily. It reminded me of cotton but softer. Overall my dog had fun ripping it apart and the packaging states that it is not for chewers. It is definitely not. I would not recommend this toy unless your dog enjoys just throwing his or her toy around, with no squeaky and not very durable it wouldn't be that great for much else.Gidget

I bought this for my Border Collie mix a year ago because he kept destroying his other stuffed toys. I got another puppy in November and he chews on everything and also destroys the other toys. This pig that I bought a year ago is still going strong and is only slightly chewed up on its feet, ears, and nose. The only downside is that the squeaker is really hard to squeeze.Kimi

I bought this toy for my dog months ago. I know that he is going to destroy his toys. I have just accepted it at this point. He destroyed this toy in NO TIME!! But it's ok because he really loved doing it. It is in pieces now and has been for months, along with the rest of his toys. From time to time, he will pick it up and continue to rip at the pieces. Is it durable? No. But something about the texture keeps him going back to it. I'm going to buy a few more of these toys. They are affordable and my dog loves them. My dog LOVES this toy! He's a moderate chewer and this definitely held up well! It's a softer rubber so I wouldn't give one to a strong chewer. I get mine at Petsmart. They can be a little more on the expensive side but they are totally worth it because they last a long time. We have two Malamutes who chew up anything and everything, strange thing though, they refuse to play or chew on these toys!!! They overwhelming smell like rubber not pizza and I believe that is part of the problem. The toys are big and a good size for large dogs, but my dogs refuse to chew on them and they have liked other Nylabones in the past. Be warned of the smell and taste!Jessica
