Reviews:
You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo
Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n
This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel
2. Kong Biscuit Ball Dog Toy, Large (30-65 Lbs), Red
Product Details:
The kong biscuit ball is a unique treat dispensing dog toy with a hollow center and four bone-shaped portals equipped to hold delicious bits of a dog's favorite kibble or treat. made from the kong classic unique natural red rubber formula this durable, unpredictable bouncy toy is fun to chew, chase and fetch providing long-lasting engaging playtime fun. made in the usa. globally sourced materials.
Reviews:
Kongs are great dog toys, unless you have serious chewers in your four-legged family. The holes in this biscuit ball make it easier for extreme chewers to tear apart. On the other side, it's a good option to keep your canine busy if you aren't worried about destruction. Try filling with peanut butter versus treats for longer lasting entertainment.jessica.b
My dog loves this ball whether I put treats in it or not. She destroys tennis balls and anything breakable. This ball is thick hard rubber material that withstands her hard play. She will play by herself with this ball during her down times during the day. Bella is a mid sized English Shepherd and this sized ball is perfect for her. I would recommend this product for your mid sized to large sized dog.terrou_71
I have a English Lab and this would be his 3rd Kong toy. I have: 1. The old fashioned Kong (looks sort of like a michelin man in red) 2. The Small solid Red Kong Ball. I liked the idea of the hollow ball, because Mirrors, etc. have been broken from the solid ball. Well, about 3 hours after I gave Major this ball, he had eaten the bone holes into round circles, and on his way to eating the whole ball. Not a Good Product If you dog has good teeth! I was surprised, because all the other Kong Products are top notch.mc1242

I ordered these for my rescue pup for when we leave the house. They're great! She is very attached to me so giving her one of these kongs with peanut butter in her kennel right before we leave works perfectly! They material is very durable! My pup likes to chew on rubber toys and has chewed pieces off many of the ones she has. However, she has not been able to chew anything off of these kongs!kimberley.w
Kong dog toys make great dog chews with added fun! Some dogs love to chew and will chew things just for something to do and having a kong toy on hand to occupy them is a good idea. You can add peanut butter inside the Kong and it will keep them busy trying to get the treat out of it. It provides hours of fun and the dogs don't ever get sick of playing with it and chewing on it. They are made of super durable rubber. They are pretty close to indestructible. They withstand hours and hours of rough play without falling apart and puppies sharp teeth are no match for Kong. I used to buy nylabones but my dogs seem to use the Kong a lot more. I know with my dogs they love anything new they get for a little while and then they kind of get sick of it and stop playing with it. The Kong has really kept My dogs intrest and I think it's because of the added treat inside. My border collie thinks that she was put on this earth to destroy any and everything in get path. She has destroyed many a door and window from her incessant chewing and most toys hold no interest with her but even she loves Kong toys. I don't know about the breath freshening but I can say that the kongs must clean there teeth because of the rubber dragging across the teeth so much as they chew and lick. Its a long lasting toy that will definitely provide lots of fun. They are available at most pet care supply stores. They are a bit expensive, but it's worth it for how long lasting they are. They are a much safer alternative to rawhides or bones. No worry about them choking or swallowing none splinters. Check the Kong for damages before use and it's pretty safe. I think most dogs will love it and it should clean the teeth if they chew on it. I would recommend it to dogs who are energetic or dogs who love to chew. It works great for my dog who looses interest very quickly in toys so if and when she wears hers out I will definitely go out and purchase another for her.lindsey4488
Every dog loves this. Seriously. Fill them with peanut butter and treats – bam, a yummy toy. Throw it around the house so it bounces around and hits everything – bam, a destructive toy. Speaking of which, this thing will last forever. It'll outlive you and your children, and their children. At this point the original kong is multi-dimensional being, a god.claire.a

Reviews:
Amazing! I have a German Shorthair Pointer and a Weimaraner and they both love this toy. We play fetch and tug all the time with this and my Weimaraner takes it with him everywhere! It’s great because it floats so they can retrieve it in the water and I can throw it further than I can throw a tennis ball. I feel so much better throwing this for my dogs then an actual stick; my friends dog got an awful injury from a stick last year and since then I’ve been wary – so was excited to give this a try when I saw it at Target!AstonandRuby

I bought this for my dog for Christmas and it's the best toy he's ever had. He goes through toys like crazy, they always break and rip and are a danger to him because of small pieces. This toy is super strong and safe for him. I have a pure breed German Shepard fully grown. I take it with us everywhere we go. He never leaves without it. It funs for me and him to play with and it's now starting to tear in the middle but barely. Super strong. Best toy ever for him, I highly recommend this product for extra large and super strong dogs. My baby is a beast and this toy suits him.Ana Tropicana
To say my dog is an "extreme chewer" is a understatement. Fortunately for us he has been focused on his toys/chew toys. He has SUPER STRONG jaws for a lab. I can literally spin him in circles in the air with his jaws locked on a toy. I havent been able to find a toy he doesnt destroy in 5min-1day. He goes through a 8 point buck antler in a month. He is no joke. We tug A LOT too. I actually work out my biceps with this toy and him pulling. Curls:) He LOVES it!! I LOVE it too:) It has lasted about a month and is still going strong.Sweetboy_Ranger

Let’s just say he loves his balls! Anything round he will chase, doesn’t matter how big or small. But the best ones are the ones that can fit in his mouth, and these are perfect for him. None of the rubber balls ever break apart or are ripped by him despite him playing with it everyday. I’d say he is not a heavy/strong chewer, more on the light/weak side, which makes them last a long time. Why a 4 Star if you say he loves it so much?? That is because the squeakers in them are weak or perhaps I just got a defective one. Apparently, All the squeaks in the balls were working. Then once I gave to him one of the balls, 5min later the squeaker broke inside. The others are working fine when I squeeze them, (have yet to give it to him) but would have like to be expecting they will hold up rather than how soon they will break.Matsue2012

Bought this for our staffy when she was 7mths old – she is a strong chewed and has managed to destroy many expensive toys with a chewability ratings of 9/10 within the hour of getting it. The rope on this toy stood no chance against her but I'm happy to say my pup turns 1 this month and has only just cracked the rubber section after a nightly play and chew session. I'm here to buy a replacement as this has been the longest surviving toy for her.Emma
My dogs love this product when they were just pups. It helped relieved their teething problems. Also, a good activity to bond with them. The rope is so versatile that it took a lot of strengths and months for my dogs to break them. I have bought them this again and again as the product was great and secure. I'm never worried that it will break apart and choke my dogs.kristine.l
+ The red toy is very durable. My dogs weren't able to destroy it yet. It's high quality and very good for puppies that like to bite on everything.- The rope can be quickly destroyed.I think if you're looking for a rope toy, this one is not the best. I wouldn't repurchase it.julia.n

Reviews:
Ball is made of a very durable and hard rubber. The one I bought is bigger than a tennis ball, but my 65lb goldador-newfie pup can hold it in her mouth easily. She enjoys playing fetch with it or catching it when it bounces high in the air. I also like that there is a rather big hole on the side that I use to throw the ball to avoid all the drool or whatever nastiness is on the ground of the dog park. Because it is hard rubber it gets a lot of bounce. I also like to fling it against a concrete wall and it just bounces all over the place. On top of that I see no damage besides scuff marks that usually just wash away.ghostchili
My previous dog chewed everything and successfully destroyed everything, EXCEPT the Kong Ball. He never was able to even make a mark. We have a new dog who also likes to eat everything but again has failed to damage it in any way. It has a great bounce to it and she loves it. Worth every penny to get something truly indestructible.texas75961
Env: development I have two dogs that love all things ball shaped – tennis balls, soccer balls, basketballs, etc. The only problem with their ball obsession is that they destroy them. Sometimes in minutes. Tennis balls are cheap enough to replace, but they can wear on their teeth and cause damage. Other balls pose a choking or obstruction hazard because the dogs will tear them into pieces and potentially swallow them. I started to feel like I was running out of safe options to satisfy their obsession and then I discovered the Kong Ball. I picked one up for the dogs one day when I saw them at the local feed store. It was a little pricey, but I figured, if it was as durable as it claimed, it'd pay off in the long run. And it has. It's been 8 months, and while the ball shows a little wear and tear, it's still in one piece, and the dogs have great fun with it. The only con is that it's not very bouncy, and it's a little too heavy for playing fetch with, but if you roll it for them to chase that seems to satisfy them. Definitely worth the money! I bought this a day ago. Loaded it with treats and watched my little pup walk it through the living room. Watched little trails of red plastic litter the floor within the first five minutes. My little pup is not a chewer. I have never seen a Kong toy disintegrate ever, never mind crumble like this. You can watch like a hawk… this gyro dog toy will not last 15 minutes.jackinbox
My dogs LOVE this more than any kong toy. They just need to update it to be a sturdy material like the other kong items. It lasted 2-3 months but eventually the dogs tore it to shreds. Literally shreds. I would still re buy it though due to how many hours use we got out of it. But I would rather spend a little more for a better version of this that is just not as prone to being torn up (as other reviewers mentioned and posted pics of, this is eventually what happened to ours, too). I filled with some dog food mixed with some soft training sized treats to really get their attention. Wouldn’t put peanut butter or anything like that in this. Would use it more as a feeder toy with dry or soft treats or food. Not wet though as the hole would be too small for the dogs to be able to get anything like that out. The weighted feeder ball is a great, indestructible similar option to this if you’re needing something to keep them busy for a longer period, it doesn’t break or get torn up, and can be used to feed a full meal as capacity is much bigger. With almost every king toy I always buy up 2 sizes. There’s a lot of reasons but especially due to the smaller ones being easily torn apart. My dogs just prefer the bigger ones anyway. PLEASE NOTE: it’s important to always remove any toys, feeders, bones, or bowls of food if the pup isn’t currently eating, or playing with the item. They’ll learn bad behavior like grazing, guarding, etc. and it can make it very hard for owners to notice when pets are unwell. (Google for more info). Water is the only thing they should have 24/7 access to without restriction. Hope this helps!Momzymo
This arrived on Friday and by Friday night after my 7 month old Jack Russell Puppy had used it one with kibble in it, it was unsafe. She started to chew little pieces off it and we have had to take it off her. I thought that being a Kong product it would be durable but it wasn't. She did not have it as a toy. it was just used for her kibble to keep her busy while we were eating.JUDY

13. Kong Signature Ball Dog Toy Red – Small

Good ball for my crew. Generally tough, though the staffy can fracture one in a couple days. They are expensive for what they are. This ball has been the best compromise I have found in my quest to find a ball with enough zip for the play instinct and large enough not to be a danger, while small and light enough not to kill your arm while throwing it.TerrierTops
My 2 boys love these balls. But I'll have to get rid of them when my boys get bigger. I have mini poodles and bought the small – no cm size is in the description but thought it was better than the large size. However the Small is only about 5cm – so will be too small for them soon. Other than that it's a good ball for the average chewerNessaV

My dogs love these. Not going to lie, when I first purchased these, I didn’t really understand how they worked. I would fill with treats then feel disappointed when it only entertained my dogs 10 minutes. I have since adopted a hyperactive Labrador; while researching ways to calm him down, kongs kept coming up in the blogs. I watched some videos on how to use them for training purposes and have learned how to stuff them in a way that keeps my dogs entertained for a long time. I use a combination of kibble, canned dog food, and other healthy food options, layer it all in the Kong, then freeze. My dogs are stupid excited to see me pull these out of the freezer. I always buy a size larger than I think I need to ensure my dogs don’t choke or get their tongues stuck and that’s worked out great. Very happy with these, we have about 12 of them. Totally recommend to anyone with dogs.shara.m
My dogs had this for about a year. He’s a 22 lb Italian Greyhound mix who isn’t destructive (the pic attached is him 🥰). I included this information because I can’t vouch for the durability if you have a chewer. The material seems durable though. It does have a rubber smell that is kind of annoying and it takes a long time to go away. If you’re sensitive to smell you might want to avoid this. It seems to smell the most like rubber when you wash it. It’s easy to wash. I use a little bit of dish soap and hot water to wash it after every use. You don’t have to use the Kong spray in this. You can fill it up with whatever treat/food you want.simply.b

More durable than all of his toys! He is a super chewer and will find the weak spot of any toy. He will find it and chew and chew until it's broken and I have to throw it away! This usually takes less than 5 minutes. One time I gave him a new toy and he swallowed a piece within seconds! This toy has now lasted a record breaking 7 days!!!!!!! He ripped a piece on day 6 and he has been paying more attention to that piece lately but I'll give it a few more days until I have to throw it away.. hopefully longer! AND I WILL BE BUYING ANOTHER!!!Dogmom24

I have a lab who is rather gentle with his toys I’d say-rarely does he rip a hole or tear any apart. However within 10 minutes of him having this one, he managed to rip off one of the tail bits & nearly swallow it. Thankfully I was nearby & heard the ripping noise & managed to get it before him. I simply cut off the remaining tail ends before giving it back. He now chews on it regularly & it’s held up just fine. Overall knowing how easily the tail pieces can come off, I wouldn’t recommend. If you happen to have purchased this already, please cut off the tail before your pup has the chance to do so!Selena
When i first bought this my Golden Retriever was about 3-5 months and he was chewing on everything as well as teething. Most of his toys would eventually rip and all the stuffing would come out. I bought this toy hoping it would last and it did! It’s the only toy right now where the stuffing hasn’t exploded everywhere!! Only the little frilly things on its head and tail slightly came off but atleast the toy is still intact! He is now about to turn 10 months and we still have itbirria
Purchased this super cute giraffe for my puppy in April. Really disappointed in it, even though the dog likes it. First time playing with it, ears, horns and tail were gone. Next went the black binding, leaving holes for stuffing to be pulled out (red fabric is not sewn together under the black binding). I've sewed it up in various places a few times, and will likely have to continue sewing until all the binding is gone. This to spent three months in a closet because I was tired of sewing. Took it out again yesterday … he chewed off the black binding at the bottom of the foot in about 20 seconds. More sewing. Expected SO MUCH MORE from a Kong toy. DO NOT LEAVE DOG UNATTENDED WITH THIS TOY. Save yourself the hassle and just take the $10 and throw it directly in the trash.alexandria

I’m sorry but I would not recommend this. Within about 3 hours of my dogs eating this stuff’n they got sick. I have two black labs and we love the Kong toys. I had always put peanut butter or other things in the toy until I tried this. I put it in the toy, they played and within 3 hours BOTH of my babies were sick. I could hear their stomachs rumbling and they had horrible diarrhea. They both looked so pitiful. It passed in about 1.5-2 hours but I was so upset I had given them something that made them so sick. Since this incident I’ve seen multiple reviews saying the same thing. I would NOT recommend. It’s just not worth the risk!elizabeth.f
Looking for a treat dispensing toy for my Jack Russell that wouldn't instantly be destroyed by one of the other dogs in the house, the material is the hard rubber material that the other main Kong toys are made out of instead of easily chewed plastic which was exactly what I was looking for. my dog loves it and so far hasn't chewed it apart so great buy, brilliant for use when i'm busy round the house or just chilling out, keeps him entertained for ages rolling it for the treats and chewing the outside to help clean his teeth. Definitely would recommend. For sizing the medium was perfect for my Jack Russell for any dog slightly bigger than him I would recommend getting the large.brontdartnel_0

My 3yr old has had his Kong for 6mos. or so… big dog size. He's a 90lb. hound/black lab mix that is a mega chewer and this thing occupies him for hours. I shove a giant milkbone into it – helps if I lay the kong on the counter and flatten it with my left hand and shove the bone in with my right. Takes him a while to crush the bone… then he grabs it by the end & does a little shake so the pieces fall out. That can be a bit messy, but he's good at the crumb-clean up! I also put chunks of cucumbers, stawberries, carrots, etc. in the kong and then freeze it. Non-crushable treats (a PB smear or a folded piece of lunch meat or pet jerky) work well, too… takes him longer to get to those. He knows his "SQUEEZY" by name…and he's not the world's brightest dog, so that's testament to how much he loves this dang toy. This dog normally DESTROYS toys (especially treat-related toys) within the first few minutes, so this was a phenomenal investment.PortersPeeps

My puppy LOVES her Kong Flyer. She chases it for hours, and all the other dogs at the park try to steal it too. I love that it's flexible so I can roll it up to fit in a pocket when going for walks. I also appreciate how soft it is so don't worry about teeth breaking when she catches it mid-air. Have had it for a while now, and must say it's very durable – she loves to play tug-of-war with it and it's only got one minor tear on the edge. A++Caitlin
Our dog is obsessed with his KONG frisbee! This is the only frisbee that lasts a significant amount of time. He breaks all other toys quickly. The frisbee works perfectly. We always take it with us on our walks. Throughout the entire walk he will bring us the frisbee to throw it. He even knows the commando 'find the KONG'!miche.p
