These collars work great with a little bit of time and training. After a year of use, with supervision, I can now take my dogs (Basenji & G.Shep) outside on our 3 acres without the collars because they have now learned the boundaries. My favorite feature of these collars is the nightlight and the beep function. The nightlight is perfect for going out at night and keeping my eyes on where each dog is located. The beep function is fantastic, my dogs have learned the beep means to turn around and come back. During training I used the shock function (level 8 & I did test the level of intensity on my own leg) only a handful of times when absolutely necessary and it's never used now. Both dogs now respond to the beep and if they're chasing a deer they'll stop to the vibrate function. The two CONS I have with these collars are the rubber covers for the progs come off so easily when the dogs are wrestling and get lost constantly. The other con is that I've had the collars close to a year now and the rechargeable batteries within the device are dying. The collars are on charge constantly now so that they are charged up for when they are needed. The collar dies within about 8 hours before it needs a charge even if it's turned off. It is very easy to use. I have an invisible fence and wanted to add a training collar. The collar is much better then my fence collar so I added the fence devuce to this one. Both devices work well on the same collar and they don't interfere with each other. We only put it on my dog when he goes outside so we leave the devices on all the time and the battery life stays good. We only charge it once a week or so. I'll first start by saying I never do reviews. However I was at my wits end with our nine month old chiweenie. I thought my husband was going to kill me and the dog…and I was praying my neighbors did not have guns because this little 8 pound cutie barked like a 100 lb squealing pig at anything and everything! Previous to this device I tried the citronella collar and the ultrasonic remote. Neither phased her. I will say on day one I thought this thing was a piece of junk. I called pet safe and learned that the collar needs to be tightly fitted on the dogs neck or it will not work. After adjusting the collar and I was still on the phone with the representative my Daisy girl went outside and I witnessed it working immediately. We still have some light barking which I imagine occurs before the strengthened static but it is completely manageable. I will say after reading the reviews we have lucked out with the battery… It has been in use with an aggressive Barker for a month and still has not needed to be replaced. Our only downside is that the collar is bulky… I take it off when she comes inside. If I do forget to put it on when she goes outside she will bark up a storm again! I bought two Basic Static Bark collars to help alleviate my puggle's and beagle's separation anxiety barking when we are not at home. The collars are fitted properly and in accordance with instructions and the batteries are working, yet BOTH dogs continue to bark. The biggest problem is that both collars tend to move to one side of the dogs' necks, so the dogs are probably not receiving the static correction. The directions state to "REPOSITION THE COLLAR ON THE PET'S NECK EVERY 1 TO 2 HOURS.." Obviously, if we are not home, this is impossible to do. I wasted almost $100 on collars that do not work on either dog. Petsafe customer service recommended that I should purchase the more expensive Deluxe Petsafe Collar. No thanks. I bought this about a week ago after I received a complaint from a neighbor and was given a warning from our HOA for disturbance. These training collars come as a set for 2 dogs. There is 2 collars and 1 remote. They work great. The instructions are easy to follow and the collars are adjustable so they can be for large or small dogs. The clip makes it easy for putting the collar on and off. You are supposed to give your dog a break from these around their neck like any of other training collar. My dogs all I need is the beep and the vibration options but it does have a shock option as well and the vibration and shock are adjustable. You can switch from one dog to the other using the button on the side with the 1 and 2 on it. Overall a good shock collar for your money. No issues with it so far.Chris

Well packaged and arrived on time. Did not use at first with my new Aussie Shep. My pup has zero recall now after she got use to my home. Jumping up, running away, just out of control. Had it just incase of. Incase of happened. Have it on the lowest settings, only use audio beep for now. I use in house around my mom who is elderly for the jumping up, also while off leash. Love the dual charging, the charge last long. Took me awhile to come to terms, but it has worked, don't leave it on long. I believe it can only be left for 12 hours at a time. I was so impressed with how long and how well this works. It controls my Gsd and CO dogs. The battery life is amazing on the collars! Mine are used daily and they are still charged a month later. The shock has a good range with a huge difference. From light shock to a heavy shock. The same for Vibration.The tone is amazing , each level is a different sound. My dogs have their own tone for individual correction. The collars are colored and I marked on the unit adogs color, b dogs color and same for c dog.. I couldnt be happier with a more expensive unit than this one. I tried the aeterek Garmin 3 dog shock collar(same priced name brand) and was disappointed as the settings were all the same as were the tone and vibrate. Also the maximum level of shock was not strong enough for my dogs.the price on this 3 dog system is very competitive. Cons: The sound feature is too weak and lame to get the attention of any dog. The remote is clunky and bigger than necessary and the buttons are badly arranged. You must select the function first before you send a command to the collar. The instructions are overly complex and confusing due to poor product design. The collar does not turn itself off when not in use and the range is iffy. Pros: It looks nice and appears well made. It is the best of the three I have tried. It functions well and reliably. The vibrate function is usually sufficient to get attention. This is the second training collar I purchased since August. I bought an Oxford and that didn't last. I liked some of the Oxford features over this EasyPet Collar. This collar system is better made and I expect will last longer. While I like the multiple levels of each of the sound, vibration, and shock getting to the setting in a hurry doesn't happen. I have two pit bull mixes. The sound, any level, works for one of the dogs, but not the other. I have moved to the vibration correction for him. This works well as does the shock. He returns to me with both of these. I do suggest putting a sensor on the remote as when the dog is returning after being corrected and cannot see the trainer (as he was deep in the woods) perhaps a sound on the remote would aid the dog's quicker return. I'm suggesting this as he came out of the woods at a different point than where I was. My second suggestion is making the recharging plug on the collar easier to insert. The plug seems flimsy and is hard to secure on it. Since it is so important for the plug to be in to maintain the waterproof feature it should be easier to put in. I do like this product better than the Oxford I purchased so far.MaryP

Finally, I found the perfect system for my needs. have two dogs on the collar for walking. I walk them in the woods and sometimes they'll run off to chase something. I use the collar to keep them in check but still allow them to run. I've tried three other training collars and my issues with all were- 1. I had to re-connect the collars to the transmitter after each recharge. 2. Switching quickly between the dogs took too many steps to switch. 3- The range of them were not as advertised. This system solves everyone of those issues. It's the best one I've found that has no programming after charge. The charge last longer. No 9v battery required to transmitter. I’ve had this remote and color for four months and everything’s been great – it hasn’t died any of the times my dog has jumped in the pool while wearing it – The little silicone cap covering the charging port does a great job of sealing out water , unlike other ‘waterproof’ collars. I put it on to charge last night and unplugged it to use today- to find that although the remote is working when it’s plugged in, when I unplug it it’s nonresponsive. So that’s a shame :/Kristin

Purchased the Petsafe Basic Bark Control Collar – PBC19-10765 in March 2019. Fast forward 7 months, I wish I had purchased The BarkCollar by DogWatch – No Bark Trainer BT-7 in the first place. Spending the extra money and doing your research is worth it! We have a Labrador and we noticed a sudden change in her behaviour when we moved house. 5am pedestrians and dog walkers and foxes passing by would set her off and we’d often have to get out of bed to give positive reinforcement or bring her inside. In the beginning, I purchased the the Petsafe Basic Bark Control Collar – PBC19-10765. It came with free Replacement Batteries and I purchased an extra pack to save on future postage. Initially, our Labrador responded quickly and barking reduced, however, I don’t believe this was the correct unit for our girl. Her irritability and persistent barking returned to full on annoyance after about four weeks. We replaced the first two complementary batteries, every 4-6 weeks and by August, I purchased 2 replacement Petsafe Red Nylon Straps, as they deteriorate and become too loose. After months of persevering, I returned to Bark Control website to do some further research. In October, purchased The BarkCollar by DogWatch – No Bark Trainer BT-7 and I wish I had done this in the first place!
