I have two very strong Scottish terriers who would pull when they saw another dog or cat and they actually pulled me over. I was fed up with having bruised and scraped hands and knees so I asked Google where I could get a non pull harness. They came up with several and I chose two from Petplanet.co.uk. They arrived very quickly and I have been using them for a week now. The did exactly what it said on the label. The dogs no longer pull and dog walks are much more pleasant and relaxing. The best investment I have made for my puppy, who is growing fast and extremely jumpy. It got to the stage where I found it incredibly difficult to walk her, but the Halti harness works a treat! The Halti double ended lead can be wrapped around you so you use your body weight rather than your hands/arms to stop the pulling. I can literally walk hands free! You can then take the lead off the front part of the harness and it becomes a 6 foot lead, which is great for recall training. If you take the whole double ended lead off, the harness has about a 1ft lead attached to it, which is easy to grab if you need to when you let your dog off the lead. I've tried numerous harnesses and never loved any until this one. I have a miniature rat terrier who is 13.5 lbs. He tends to be too big for mediums and way too small for large sizes. Finally, this harness fits perfectly in Medium! There's even a little room to spare in case he gets larger. We wanted to take off pressure from his neck and the v neck design and light weight, soft mesh is great! It's by far the softest one I've ever felt, and I've tried every one at multiple stores. It's so comfortable that it could be left on all the time even in summer since it's so breathable. My dog lives it too! He seems to feel safe and calmer in it like a thunder shirt makes him feel. The first time I took him on a walk he seemed to feel "free". He was so happy to pounce around without worrying about a jerk in his neck. We give this one 5 stars!!!! I got this in black, size medium from Amazon. She has a 12" neck and a 19" chest. This harness is adjustable around both neck and chest. My pup has a high chase drive and will sometimes pull suddenly. I like that the x-shape doesn't put as much pressure on her throat when she pulls, and the double d-rings and buckle closure feel very secure for her leash. This harnass lasted exactly three minutes. I put it on my dog, adjusted it, and she chewed it for a second and it completely tore. The company acknowledges that it can not withstand even a quick nip from your dog. Ridiculously poor quality. Their answer is for you to spend another 12.99 for a warranty to get another harnass which will do the same thing. Awful product that is expensive. Dismissive and unethical customer service. I really like the product. The two connection points give me more control over my reactive dog. A few months after purchase I noticed some of the nylon was unraveling near one of the box stitches. I contacted the company and provided pictures and they replaced it right away. Great product and great service.

My dog doesn't object to eating these & acts like they are a treat. I purchased this product in hopes that it would help with the itching. It appears he has dry skin & his fur is very coarse as well. I had hoped this would help with the dry skin, however it hasn't. But it could be a medical condition that has nothing to do with this product so it is somewhat hard to give a fair review. I can't fairly say it isn't a good value nor that it is not good quality. It simply didn't help my dog's dry skin condition.gtd2105

It's more comfortable than his old strappy harness and feels very secure. The padding is distributed well to not overwhelm him while still distributing pressure. The two side clips feel well-constructed and very secure. Get xs-s for a small to medium cat, and only medium if your cat is Huge! I really like this harness. However, either I miss-sized the harness or they run small. I have two medium sized dogs, IMO and ordered two size large. The smaller of my two dogs could barely wear the large. I’ll be returning both and re-ordering the x-large. The harness was easy to get on and very solidly made.SLK

We have a very active chocolate lab and this harness fits well and works like a dream. Front-attach harnesses work to destabilize the dog so you are not in a tug of war. Everyone we have suggested this harness to is a believer because it makes walking the dog less of a battle. Eventually the clips loosen with wear and when our dog jumps they sometimes now release so we needed to buy a new the harness. My dog was btwn sizes, so I took him on a little road trip to the store to get the right fit. Gilbert is horribly nervous in cars, pet stores, vets, with his own shadow, etc. but the amazing Wooftown employee (L) sat down on the floor with the harnesses and kindly waited as he calmed down. It has really helped my dog stop pulling & made walks easy fun. But it's hard to fit. I bought two sizes: petite small (aka too small) and small (aka too big). I kept the petite small, but it sits too far forward on her shoulders and she can wriggle out of the harnessblime65

I was thrilled that it arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. The harness is extremely well constructed and heavier than expected, which is great! I recently adopted a 5 year old boxer and he could easily take me for a drag! He was as excited about the harness as I was and his demeanor instantly changed as we set off for our morning walk. No pulling, no trying to get him under control! Granted he has obviously been trained, but he has been a handful for me to deal with on walks. I'm 4 foot 10 and not even twice his weight. Bought this harness to help my dog stop pulling on walks. It does help with the pulling, but it isnt like waving a magic wand and suddenly she walks perfectly. Its a good tool to use while training on walks though and I dont feel like shes going to hurt herself like when she would pull with the leash attached to her collar. Overall, the harness is good quality. No rips or tears have occurred. The only thing I would say thats a negative is the fact that the straps tend to shift looser over time. So you need to check before each walk that they are the proper tightness. I would also prefer four buckles rather than two. Sometimes it can be hard to get over my dogs head, so it would have been nice if it clipped together on the neck as well as the torso. I do love the little handle on the back of the harness. When we see another dog on our walks and they start barking, it tends to get my dog riled up. So its nice to be able to grab that handle and walk her along with more control. The reflective parts arent super reflective, but the orange harness is pretty bright orange so that does help with visibility. Id say if youre looking to try a harness for the first time, not knowing if youre dog will like wearing a harness, give this one a shot. I will upgrade to a more expensive harness eventually, but for now my dog and I are both happy with this one.stitchinwitchvtg

I ordered the Small size based on the size chart online, but when I received the harness I was a little concerned when I saw the hanger for the harness suggesting pet weight of 5-10lbs. Stu is about 16 lbs. The harness itself fitted well after making adjustments at the shoulder and chest. It looks and feel strong and durable ….. did not have a chance to really test it out yet (i.e. squirrels not out, snow on ground, etc😄)Shirley W.
