Plush Football Dog Toy For Sale (2024 Update)

I have a 2 yr old German Shepherd, he loves to play ball. He likes balls he can chew (like bubble gum) but doesn’t tear them up. This is his favorite by far. The weight and structure allow me to throw it far and he loves to run and fetch it. It’s also soft enough that he can catch high flies without hurting his mouth. I bought 2 of them in case we lose one or it eventually does tear up. Again, by far this is his favorite ball.Timothy

Are you tired of falling over 'THAT BALL!'? This is a brilliant design, it just squishes up if you happen to stand on it, great for disabled or elderly owners. I have an 8 month old 35 lb puppy. She loved this toy as soon as I gave it to her. The size was good. The toy was not too small for her mouth. She managed to destroy the toy and rip it apart within one day. My puppy destroys all toys I give her, but it usually takes about a week. I would not recommend this toy for any dog that likes to chew.Jsdude10

srsly couldn't speak more highly of this product. before this we had this toy but instead of foot ball shape was a soccer ball shape. i love both shapes but the soccer ball shape was $45 at normal pet shop. the price of this product is so good! it takes my kelpie about 3 months + to get thru these sorts of balls.bailee

I'm extremely sad to have to write a negative review on this toy. This was our Huskies' favorite toy for years! We had a couple of these balls that quite literally lasted for well-over a year and even then they were never damaged by the dogs, they were only disposed of when they had been outside for a couple years and began to dry rot and crack. The dogs played with them every single day (while supervised, never allowed to just chew on them) and many hours of fetch and playing with them in the kiddy pool, etc. and not one hole was caused. I recommended these Kong balls to everyone, we loved them so much. Fast forward to the last order I placed for these Kong balls, probably around a year ago, the balls did seem a bit more translucent than usual, but I wasn't yet concerned. That is until one ball stopped squeaking within minutes of giving it to the dogs and upon inspection, it had already been punctured and had a slice in it! I thought it had to be a fluke, so I gave them another one (I always order several at a time as we have a large pack of dogs) and the same thing happened within minutes! After about 10 minutes of normal playtime (they are not allowed to lay down and just chew on them), several of the balls already had to be discarded as pieces were easily coming off. I was in disbelief and so disappointed! Well, I made the dogs very sad and didn't order anymore for quite some time, but decided to give them another shot in a recent order as they were on sale. Unfortunately, they have not at all improved since our last experience. The price has also gone up on them, so not only do you pay more, but get a lesser quality product. Kong, please make the Jumbler Footballs great again!!!HuskyAddict

My beautiful Willow absolutely loves this football toy. She is super hard on her toys and has had this for months and it is still in great condition. She carries it around most of every day and it's always close by. I love how much fun and enjoyment she has gotten out of it. Great product and a great value!!!Jerri L.

This is the second one of these that I have bought for my Staffie. He loves it and will do anything for it. It is great for throwing as it bounces at odd angles (although is difficult to grip when covered in slober!). It is not indestructible and the laces come off after a while. I just bought this toy for my pup and he absolutely loves it. He is a Staffordshire terrier and loves to play tug of war. The toy is very well made, and he hasn't been able to rip it yet. And its a plus be able to buy it in my favorite team. GO STEELERS !SYDNEYR

Our 5 month old poodle ripped the cover on this toy in less than 20 minutes. Kong says that certain dogs need special toys. I disagree in that there has been NO toy that has been destroyed so easy. As others have said, there has been no problem with other similar toys and this one is simply poorly designed. The Kong people stood up to their satisfaction guarantee but this toy should not be sold to be used by a pet.chubbybug

I bought this Kong – Air Squeaker Football at my neighborhood Petco, and was a great purchase, durable, resistant to wear and tear from my tough German Shepherd puppy, with strong and sharp teeth. My pit Ruby can kill a tennis ball in a bite and loves too but it makes fetch more of a single throw event. I found this Kong version and it was a winner. Just oversized enough, being more mini football then actual tennis ball, and made with thicker kong materials, she hasnt popped it yet. She wants to rip the Kong logo off so bad but its to well part of the ball so shes slowly defuzzing it in the hopes that it will help (it wont). She could take or leave the squeaker, I could go without (hopefully she kills it soon). Overall worth the $. Gotten way more out of it then an actual tennis ball.PhilRCDXX

This is one of the best toys I have found for Sara,my golden retriever.It is durable,the shape of the ball is such that it is impossible to know which way it is going to bounce. That dog loves it. The light up feature is a definite bonus. It is bright and twinkles different colored lights. I would definitly buy this toy for her again,should she demolish it. So far, she has not been able to achieve this. I recommend this toy to anyone that loves to play fetch or just watch the antics of a dog while playing.recycle253

Our German Shepherd-Husky mix absolutely loves playing fetch with this football! Because it bounces quite unpredictably, she prefers it over most other toys. The design makes it very easy to grab and throw as well. This is the third time we've bought this ball. The previous one lasted about half a year of daily use until it got damaged. (For context: Our dog does not chew on toys. According to some reviews, it is not good for dogs who chew on toys heavily.)Maria St

Admittedly, my dog is a tough chewer. This squeaked for about the first minute and was in about 20 pieces after 15 mins or so. May be good for light chewers but not my pooch. I have other nerf toys fer her that have held up. It's the squeaking that signs the toy's own death certificate.PapaBigZit

My dogs love them! They haven't chewed them up & that might be that the material is heavy-duty. They like to carry them around or have them tossed for retrieval. I am very satisfied with this product. I do own 3 chewers & so far these football shaped toys have not been damaged in 3 weeks of play. No cons to comment about.Mojo55

My Aussie usually chews his toys up in minutes. I bought this 3 months ago and still looks like new. He loves it!!! Sometimes he gets angry at it because he can't get the squeaker out and he will just hold it and bounce his mouth off it rapidly and then gives up. He doesn't go anywhere without it. This is one tough toy! My sons beagle tore everything up we bought him. But not this Nerf football!!! He loves playing with it and can't get a grip on it to actually destroy it.
