I considered going to the hardware store and purchasing all the items needed to build my own heavy duty dog run system but you can't do it for this package price. The leash is attached to an all steel well made unit that has a swivel so that the cable can't get twisted which is super important. The cable that runs between 2 big trees is 60 feet long which is a great length. The leash cable however is only 10 feet long. I'd like to see the leash maybe 12 to 15 feet long but 10 feet isn't bad. It all beats the heck out of a chain around a tree for sure. This product was exactly as described. The length of the two collars are long enough to be worn on a smaller or a larger dog. I have two boxers and have plenty of collar length so I feel that they would fit a very large dog. The control works well and is easy to manipulate. I can easily use the vibrate and shock buttons. The only "oops" thing that could happen is hitting the control shut off and shock button at the same time. The control shut off button is on one side of the unit and the shock buttons are on the opposite side. So when I am holding the control unit in one hand to shut it off, I have to be careful not to push the shock button in response to the pressure I am putting on the shut off button.
