I'm reviewing the NERF DOG ball, it has a squeaker ( kind of hard to squeak) and makes a crunchie sound kinda like those baby's toys that sound like crunching paper. It's made of heavy rubber on the outside and has a cloth-like material on the inside that holds the crunchie-sounding stuff. It does smell like rubber and my dog didn't want to play with it right away so I washed it and the smell did go away enough for her to play with the ball it says it's BPA-free and FDA-approved. The ball is made in China I know sometimes that makes a difference to some people. This is made for a medium to large dog and it's about 4" it's pretty heavy for a little dog to be able to carry, it has cutouts for an easy grip that they can grab onto. The ball is a bright blue on the outside and the inside is a very bright yellow almost a neon color that makes it easy for the dog to find. I'm not sure how a dog that loves to crew things apart will do with the cloth on the inside of it, it doesn't seem easy to pull out but you know your dog if they tend to chew things apart I'm not sure this will be the one for them. The Hartz squeak and crunch Nerf ball is my 70 pound pups new favorite toy. She loves to play catch with it as it is easy for her to grip. While the ball seems to be built for larger dogs it has openings so even a medium sized dog can get a grip. The ball is very well made and has been holding up like a champ with all the use it gets. Our pup has had the ball outside playing with it for a while now and it has neither faded or lost any integrity. The crunch aspect of the ball is easy for the dog to use but the squeak part of the ball requires a very strong bite as it took most of my strength to get a faint squeak. Our pup has made it squeak but didn't seem to notice it since it is barely audible. Other than the squeaker portion of the ball, I feel like it is the perfect size for larger dogs but medium sized dogs will also enjoy it also.Wormie
