I got these as something new for my pup. She likes them a lot. 1 of the few treats I’ve found that slows her down for a good 30+ mins until she chews it all. I get her the small/medium but she could probably get away trying the large too as she’s near the top of the “medium sized dog”. She loves anything with peanut butter and I wasn’t sure how she’d do with the chicken because she doesn’t tolerate “processed” chicken well. Our two dachshunds LOVE these ! The little one, who is a mini dappled and special because he is partly blind and the equivalent of a human albino, and is super sweet, gets on his back legs, jumping around a and almost spinning, going crazy for these.! Then he runs and hides so his "brother", a regular size, won't try to take it from him. Although Gus, our regular size doxie, has never taken one from Bo, the "baby". Gus sits right next to my feet on the floor until he finishes his. It keeps them quiet and calm for at least 10 minutes. I wish they came in a medium size so it would keep them calm for a little longer. But they do love them and I will keep buying them for my granddoggies ! After all, it is my job to spoil them ! I decided to write a review bc just the other day I gave both my dogs a milk bone dog biscuit like I do every day, a couple of times a day lol. And was watching both my dogs go crazy over these dog treats and they tore them up. Mind you my oldest dog is picky when it comes to treats and food, and usually always rejects anything I try to give her; but not these! I've been giving these milk bone dog treats to my dogs for years (everyday 3 times a day) and they absolutely love them. I always wonder what the heck is actually inside these darn milk bone dog biscuits/treats, for my dogs to go head over paws for one. but at this point I guess it doesn't really matter what is in them, bc my dogs vet knows they get these as treats and never advised me to stop giving them to my fur babies, and watching my dogs go absolutely crazy over these dog bones; is all that really matters to me.melissa.m

My pit bull really loves these things. She gets so excited when we say “treat” and runs right towards the cupboard we keep them in. She doesn’t usually even like biscuit type treats but she goes crazy for these things. They’ve helped us in treat training her. She seems pretty happy with the taste and her poops have been healthy after eating them. They’re supposed to help with cleaning her teeth, and her teeth are still in good shape, but her breath still smells like meat all the time. The only concern I have is that I read these have carcinogen chemicals and preservatives in the ingredients which are bad for your dog and can cause cancer. So now I try to give these to her in moderation just in case. I like how accessible these treats are since they’re sold in almost every major store. And I like that the company donates money to canine assistant programs that supply trained dogs to people with handicaps. I would never buy these dog treats again. About a year ago I would give my new puppy these treats and she randomly began having bathroom issues. I then assumed it was her dog food and completely changed her entire diet and threw away everything I was feeding her. Recently, we started giving her the milk bones again and the other day she started the bathroom issues again. The past couple of nights she’s been so sick she can’t even hold it in all night like she used to, she wakes us up at 3am crying to go outside and do number 2. This morning she woke us up wanting to go outside and not only go number 2 but also when she went blood came out of her bottom, which is what was happening a year ago. I know this is from the milk bone because we don’t feed her anything other then her normal dog food now ( which works perfectly with her stomach) and these bones. Our 15lb Shih Tzu, Gromit, loves the Mini Milk Bone brushing chews. I have never had a problem of them being too hard. Make sure you reseal after opening or if you are concerned about drying out keep in airtight container or bag. These treats are great for my dog's teeth nothing has helped her horrible breath for more than 10 minutes yet but still, 9.5 times out of 10 she takes these treats and starts chewing immediately which means they are not her favorite but she still super approves! 😊 Never thought you'd catch me using a milk bone product but here I am. I am aware that titanium dioxide is in it but I did my research on the ingredients. and both dogs and humans have this color additive in their food but it is always limited to 1 percent intake which the government approved websites deem safe for consumption. I do wish they'd get rid of it though because any damage to DNA is not good. However you can't complain since this treat has limited to only one controversial ingredient like Titanium Dioxide. It has no other concerning ones for me, that may cause cancer or damage a dog. It's very hard to find treats without color additives like Red 40 and so on, that can potentially build up cancer cells over time. Milk Bone has done well with making some treats that don't have the cheapest chemicals in them, for this brand of their treats. Although Milk Bone co., I do have to say that it has not yet been passed as a law that Titanium Dioxide be removed from pet foods. Our english bulldog named Hoss just loves chewy bones! They are so easy for him to chew, which is great. These brushing chews from Milk-Bone definately kept him entertained for 10 minutes. He took off with the chewy bone to another room once we gave it to him to eat. He apparently did not want to share with us lol! These help get the build up plaque off of his teeth that he cannot get off himself. I like that they are a mix between hard and soft texture of a chew bone. I have two golden retrievers and I definitely was not thrilled with these. They tried these twice. My one dog chewed them as intended, but coughed a lot while doing so both times. My other dog chewed it in pieces way too fast easily for this type of chew the second time and also coughed quite a bit after doing so. This dog broke it in half easily the second time, but then got it lodged in his mouth between his teeth from side to side. We had to pry it out so he didn't get hurt. I have not had problems with any other products from the brand. I was really hoping they would work out. Upon opening the bag of Milk-Bone Brushing Chews, my dogs went nuts! I have 2 chihuahuas who promptly took their bones to their respective corners and while one chewed diligently for a half hour, the other guarded hers for a half hour, solely for the purpose of eating hers in front of the other after she had finished. My chow mix gobbled hers in only minutes. They are similar to the minty chew type of bones, but flexible. They lasted a while for the little dogs, not so much for the medium sized dog. These dogs are lining up every time anyone goes near the bag. And with minty breath too! I would definitely buy again and again! I always buy Milkbone products for my dog. It's a reputable brand for me, quality products I feel good about giving to my dog. I have a female German Shepherd, our male passed last year so she's only dog right now. She's gotten a little overweight and spoiled since she doesn't have her brother to run with all the time. One dog kinda didn’t care for it in the beginning but decided she liked it after a while although she doesn’t want it everyday. Other dog he dug right in and couldn’t get enough of the yogurt milk bones. Packaging was good on being able to zip it up after so it stays fresh. They both looked for it as a morning snack. Smelled like yogurt too from a bakery. The only thing is some did crumble in the bag so pieces were in the bag. But I guess it means it’s really fresh rather than be staled. My dogs love these, but the large bags of them are getting more and more difficult to find. I had a feeling that they would enjoy the peanut butter flavor and I was right! I usually give them a couple of these as a special treat. The "bones" are very small, so as I mentioned before, I give my dogs a couple of them at a time because they are bigger dogs. I was dubious as to whether Milkbones would clean the built up tartar on my 10+ year old pups. What did I have to lose by trying? Well, I was amazed at the results. The built on tartar slowly was knocked off from their chewing on these Milkbones. We have been buying this size MilkBone box for over 9 years for our big dogs, up until the mid-May 2021 purchase they have been great and the dogs loved them. However, the box purchased this May had larva crawling in the milkbones and moths flying in the container within 2 weeks of purchase and our Chesapeake Retrievers would not eat them. Had to throw the lot to the garbage. We always transfer the milk bones upon receipt from the cardboard box to air and water tight containers (gamma lid containers), so the contamination DID NOT occur after purchase. Should have checked the date on the box as well as the lot number, so shame on me for that. I will try another box from Sam's but from now on I will make note of manufacture/expire date (if there is one) as well as the lot # so if there is a problem again it can be resolved with Sam's or the manufacturer. We rescue dogs, usually older dogs, ( 7, 9, 11) these treats are their favorites, especially for ones that ha d dental issues. So, why NOT 5 stars? It seems about 1 out of 3 boxes are not 'fresh' when we first open them. Dry, dusty and a lot of crumbs in th bottom of the box, staleness. I opened one box with a LOT of crumbs and pieces in the box, and the normally enthusiastic dogs would sniff them and then if they took them they would spit them out, or not take them to begin with. This poor quality seems to be happening more frequently in the past several years. I don't know if the poor quality is at the point of manufacturing, or in the storage and transport stage, but either, a disappointing waste of money because we buy the larger boxes for our 3 large dogs. When even our dog with a hyper appetite due to being malnourished before being rescued turns them down, you KNOW there is something not hood, turned bad with them. Ps once the large box is opened, our dogs can go through a large box in less than 2 weeks, so it is not that we had an open box hanging out for months going stale or getting crumb dust. (We did get one box that had had bugs, moths, or something before being opened, because the crumbs kind of clung together and a little bit of 'webbing' from something like mill moths. Suggestion, step up quality control from manufacturing, through storage, transport stages, to get fresh products on the store shelves. These are bite sized little trainers for the dogs. Right now due to work hours, it would be unfair for me to have a dog. Even with dog sitters and the like, I wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving a dog alone regularly. He gets several but is surprisingly gentle. Dakota the shepherd mix is feisty, so I don’t hand feed her. This is only with food thankfully, otherwise she’s a teddy bear. Rocco the poodle gets these often, as does Zippy the shaky and neurotic mini pincher. All of them are so much fun, also I so miss my buddy Zelda the Doberman. You call these a healthy favorite… why is the second ingredient sugar which is not healthy for my dog. Of course he likes the flavor, they are sweet. This is my complaint about this treat and why I will not buy them again. Can’t you make a treat that is actually Healthy without sugar? And the regular milk bones 2 first ingredients are wheat flour and flour. When I buy treats for my dog and they say healthy it’s what I expect to get especially from a company like yours. I bought when on sale so it was a great value, and my Lab loves these Milk Bones! The treats come loose in the box so I keep them fresh by storing in large zip lock bags inside the box. I also prefer the size of the grain-free bones because they don't crumble easy. It's a little messy that the bones are loose in the box, but an easy fix. My 9 month old GSD loves these and they are easy on her sensitive tummy. She gets when she goes to ‘bed’ her bed time ‘cookies’ and when she is crated when I have to be gone. She loves them and she loves playing ‘find it’ with her ‘cookies’. Thank you for making a grain free product that she can have and both her human can handle. Her human has allergies as well and can’t not handle the PB treats she sooo desperately wants. I wish soon they would be made with an alternative nut butter such as sun butter. She seems pretty happy with the taste and her poops have been healthy after eating them. They’re supposed to help with cleaning her teeth, and her teeth are still in good shape, but her breath still smells like meat all the time. The only concern I have is that I read these have carcinogen chemicals and preservatives in the ingredients which are bad for your dog and can cause cancer. So now I try to give these to her in moderation just in case. I like how accessible these treats are since they’re sold in almost every major store. And I like that the company donates money to canine assistant programs that supply trained dogs to people with handicaps. I would never buy these dog treats again. About a year ago I would give my new puppy these treats and she randomly began having bathroom issues. I then assumed it was her dog food and completely changed her entire diet and threw away everything I was feeding her. Recently, we started giving her the milk bones again and the other day she started the bathroom issues again. The past couple of nights she’s been so sick she can’t even hold it in all night like she used to, she wakes us up at 3am crying to go outside and do number 2. This morning she woke us up wanting to go outside and not only go number 2 but also when she went blood came out of her bottom, which is what was happening a year ago. I know this is from the milk bone because we don’t feed her anything other then her normal dog food now ( which works perfectly with her stomach) and these bones. I’ve been giving these to my dog for at least 5 years and loves them! He gets one every day after his mid-morning trip outside. If I forget, he comes and bugs me until I realize! It’s funny – I was calling it “the ritual” (there’s a bit of song and dance involved with the presentation LOL) and I realized after a couple of weeks that to him, the word “ritual” is the name of the treat! They were small enough that I didn’t feel guilty giving them this treat after dinner or just because in the middle of the day! It was just the right size for them! I buy this type and flavor for my two small dogs all the time. Currently, Walmart online is the only place I can find them. Price has not increased and quality is still the same. I love that they're soft enough to break apart into smaller pieces for my senior dog who is missing teeth to enjoy. As long as we give him less than half at a time he is good. The younger small dog has no problem eating them at all. The lid / container is good quality, it takes us a little while to go through the whole thing and the treats are still as fresh at the last one as they were on the first one. They don't end up hard or dried out at all. Milk Bone brand is consistent and we appreciate that with having two dogs with sensitive stomachs. Once you find a treat that works you want to keep them on it. My dogs are both medium sized and about 15 pounds each. They truly enjoy the combination flavors of the turkey and pumpkin ingredients. These treats are boned-shaped. I will purchase again. Just an observation: I tried to break one treat in half so that I could share each side with both dogs, but it was pretty hard to do. These treats may be a challenge for senior dogs with less teeth. My dog is a 10 year old male 25 pound Papillon. He has always had a great appetite but will set aside something that is repetitive for something new. The exception to this is the Milkbone peanut butter flavored treats. He gets these treats a lot so when I offered him one of the new biscuis he dropped it and looked at me like he was expecting the the original treats. As soon as I told him that was all he was going to get he picked up the biscuit and promptly ate it. My elder girl is very, VERY picky when it comes to treats worthy of her even thinking of putting in her mouth…until she saw these! I tricked her! I got a box of cookies for myself, looked similar to the packaging for these. Of course if it's people food, she wants it. We have the Abbott and Costello of dogs. Both are tawny tan, with expressive eyes and sweet dispositions typical of beagle mutts. Zee, however, is about 12 years old. Kona is more particular. When introduced to a new treat, he'll first observe Zee, to ensure the treat isn't some sort of poison pill. Then he'll gently take the treat from my fingers, using only his teeth. He'll trot off to his pillow, where he'll nuzzle and lick the treat to death. I relate this…because this process and procedure was not employed with the new Milk-Bone Stuffed cookies. Good golly miss molly, these crunchy biscuits that look very much like the creme-stuffed sandwich cookies I send my kid to school with. When I opened the package, Zee came thudding down the stairs, and Kona ran over and leaned on me like I'm the only person in the whole world. I've never seen them sit and lie down so fast. I don't know how they knew, I didn't think they smelled any stronger than your typical dog treat, but something about them sent my dogs into keen canine rapture. While we got the sample as part of an Influenster package, I've already got them on next week's shopping list. My only caution, is to very specifically emphasize to your spouse and kids, that they are DOG treats.carolyn.k

I have senior dogs and the biscuits were too hard for them. I put some in a plastic container and put a slice of bread on top. This allowed the biscuits to soften just enough I could bend the biscuits in half and the dogs had softer biscuits to eat. They love these biscuits!fawn

I have a medium sized dog (20 lbs) who is fed a grain-free diet which is why I was attracted to this product. I like that this product contains fairly simple, wholesome ingredients. The biscuits are a nice size (I usually just give my dog one). They are easy to break into smaller pieces but are not crumbly. My dog certainly enjoyed them! Milk Bone is a brand that I am familiar with and trust. I would consider purchasing this product again in future.melissa.s
