My 2yr pitty has tried and gone through just about every type of toy within minutes or never lasted longer than a day or two. He likes to find the weak point in his toys and pull stuffing out. The stitching on this toy has lasted a month so far and still going strong! He's been able to chew the tail and one ear off but gave up trying to get inside of it after he realized pulling those off didn't create a hole for him. Got this piggy as a reward for my dog being such a good boy at the vets. He is a destroyer of all stuffed things so he has only had very inexpensive stuffed toys & guts them ASAP especially for the squeaker that’s usually in them. He has been pulling off the pink fur and finding a tough white canvas underneath. This is a big toy for a dachshund mix and he loves it. It was a splurge at $22 but it is a tough toy. There is a squeaker in the rearend of the pig but our dog is too small to put enough pressure on it to make the squeak sound. I bought this pig for my 36 pound chewer. I chose the pig over the elephant because I was pretty sure she'd rip the ears off and she did, along with the tail, though it took a couple weeks. She loves putting her whole mouth around it and offering it to play tug or just chewing it. After 2 months with it she finally put a hole in the side that I patched up with flannel, but it's not as strong as the original fabric and after a week she's torn it up and pulled the fluff out. It is machine washable, tougher than other stuffed animals and nice to give my dog something she is allowed to chew. She loves Nylabones too, but I can only allow her to chew on those for under 10 minutes before she scratches up her mouth. This she can chew on whenever and I just check for an errant ear to throw away. I wish it lasted longer before I needed to patch it up, but satisfied with how long it held up.AKLea

I am absolutely impressed with this dog toy. Not only is it adorable, but it is also pretty sturdy. So the dog toy is made to look like a pig: it hits that mark fairly decently. Sure, there isn’t a cute curly lil tail but as it’s a toy meant for a dog to chew on I can understand why they left it off. But, it is a lovely pink shade and it’s decently soft. Not so soft or fuzzy that it’ll leave fuzz trails in your dog’s mouth, but soft enough that it won’t hurt your dog or their teeth. The pig is made of microfiber material which can be used to explain its softness. It’s also durable! There are multiple layers of stitching on the dog toy and multiple layers of fabric to hopefully keep this toy around for at least a little while for your dog’s enjoyment. My only word of caution: same as with all dog toys, watch your dog while they play with it. If the toy busts, then your dog has a chance of swallowing or possibly choking on the squeakers located within. At first, I wasn’t sure if the Mighty Pig Toy would be too large for my Miniature Dachshund; but the toy is a great size for him. Quick preface: I have a 6 month old Great Dane who is teething like a beast. My pup is not your average chewer so I research products and compare prices carefully. Cow pro's: Price can not be beat. Cow's body is well made and still mostly in tact. It's head is soft and stuffed. Inside the body, the moo-er takes up about 2/3 of the toy with stuffing filling out the rest, head included. Fabric has +/- 1/4" nap, just long enough for those tiny teeth in the front to grab and pull. Eyes and nose are stitched into the fabric. The Hartz Tuff Stuff Treat Hogging Piglet is so cute! I like how the product can be used in many different ways. You can fill the Piglet with your dogs favorite treats at the opening at the top, and my dog likes how it has a squeaker in it to make noise. The breeder we got our Staffordshire Bull Terrier from mentioned her dogs love this particular toy so much! I bought one and so did the other 4 littermates! All of them this is a favorite toy. I may the only person on here who did not buy this for their dog. My dog is one power-chewer, so that was out of the question. I was looking for s tuffed animal for myself. I love Froggie. His quality is good for a human and thankfully I've not yet accidentally speaked one of his feet/hands. if I do it will confuse my dog bc it's not hers. Froggie very good at snuggling and hanging around my neck/back.Emma K
Got this for our GSD puppy, thinking she’d love to whip it around and snuggle with it. Within a couple days both arms came off and there were boots of stuffing everywhere. I’ve patched him up and he’s just armless, now, but definitely not for dogs that like to play rough!! She does love him, though, and will nap with him, too.Niferella
this is my dog’s favorite toy! he’s a ~60lb german Shepard/rottie/?? mutt and loves when i tie froggie’s arms around his neck! he shakes it so hard, gets loose, & then brings him back to me for more! he got this toy for a christmas gift last year and almost a year later, froggie just now has a hole. i will definitely keep him well stocked on this toy!kat

My dog is a pitbull mixed and he usually tears up his squeaky toys the first day that he gets them. But he reaaaally loves this one and he hasn’t torn it up! I gave it to him about 4 days ago and it’s still going strong lol. He always plays with it more than his other toys. Hopefully it’s not torn up soon but it prob will be. I’ll just get him another one if he does.Quality is good and it honestly seems like it has a lot of air(?) inside of it so it’s harder for him to tear it up i guess. My one year old Lab loves his pig! I limit time with his pig to 10 minutes a day so the toy stays fun and doesn’t get destroyed. Its not indestructible but I knew that when I purchased it. It’s not a chew toy, it’s a supervised play toy. The oink the pig makes isn’t nearly as annoying as most squeaker toys. It is easy to wipe off dog slobber and dirt. Bought it for my dog earlier toy and after an hour of playing with it we went up to bed and was throwing up everywhere which is not normal for him. The only thing different about our nightly routine was this pig toy. Dog really likes it. She is a chewer and this is toy is holding up to rough play well. Has a good price point. Toy is a good size for my lab mix, she seems to really like the material it is made from . Noise can get annoying at 3am. Would reccomend to anyone with a med.
