I actually bought these as litter-catching trays to go under the cat boxes. I have an old cat who sometimes misses and even when he doesn't, he has a habit of tracking litter everywhere. I've been looking for a large, flat shallow tray to go under the box and these are perfect. I bought the medium-sized tray. I bought this as a replacement due to my original one cracking. It seems to be holding up really well. The only downside to this product is the fact that I bought the wrong size. I ordered the 30 inch pan. It came in a box that says 27 inch pan. The problem is that the width is only 18 1/2 inches leaving at least 2 inches where it is too short for the crate. I am not sure how to make sure I get one to fit. My Midwest Kennels are in great shape but older. I am trying to find the right size to order. Have to have one at least 20 inches wide. I love the way this cover is put together. So easy to slip over her crate. She gets freaked out when traveling to and from the vets office. So I have to crate her for the trip. I can put the cover on the crate first, and with the velcro pieces, lift the front to put her in, then easily cover the door so she can't see out and get upset. My Lab has anxiety when it comes to thunderstorms or fireworks.A friend of mine recommended that I add a soft blanket to my dogs kennel and place a cover over it to help my dog stay calm . It fits my 24L x 18W x 20 inch high crate perfectly with adjustable Velcro at the corners for a customized fit. The door opening is easy to leave open or closed for pet coolness or darkness. It is very easy to Velcro the sides or corners as needed, as not all the sides come apart. There is an opening on the top for a handle or for viewing you pet as needed, without opening the sides. The product is very well made with crisp and straight sewn lines, reinforced corners and no hanging threads. The plastic backing is a nice feature, but may cause deceased air flow with an increase in heat inside, unless a side is left open. There are no accompanying instructions for laundrying or use, but none is needed. A simple bag sticker gives the dimensions and states it provides a cozy, shaded space for your pet. I will say that the sides overhang onto the floor by an inch or so, but maybe it will shrink a bit when I eventually wash it. Not enough of an issue to deduct a star.
