They claim it is for a large dog, but, I guess they never meet my large doge. His current collar is twice as wide and at least twice as thick, is less then 9 months old and he is tearing it. That is why I ordered a new one. NEVER again. I will drive 85 plus miles one way to find a pet smart or other store that has what I need and I will shop and buy in person.larry

I rescued a 70 lb lab who is leash-reactive to other dogs. This presented a huge issue as we live in a very dog-friendly complex and we would come across numerous dogs anytime we went out. After he pulled me down 3 times (injuring my wrist and ribcage) I decided to give this a try. I had no idea if I needed a 1 or 1.5 inch collar but decided to err on the side of the wider one. We have only used it for 2 days and it has already made a huge difference.
