Reviews:
Best thermometer/hygrometer you can get for this price. There are better, more accurate ones available, but they are often up in the $100 range. Have this set up in my bioactive gargoyle vivarium and so far it has been working great. Every time I mist, the humidity percent promptly goes up to 75-90% depending on how heavy of a mist, and then throughout the day will slowly drop back down to the 30-50% range as the vivarium dries out. Can’t ask much more than that honestly. Suction cups work too(unlike some of the other suction cups on this style thermometer/hygrometer)T.W.
Nice compact, but easy to read unit. Seperate sensors for temp/humid and the sensors have plenty of length on the wires so you can find the perfect location for them. The only issue I had was that the suction cup to mount the display is warped so doesn't stick, but nothing a bit of blutac/velcro won't fixCarl S.
Not a whole lot to say except that it just works! Very accurate down to the decimal and the probes are only minimally intrusive. However, I'm giving 4 stars because I had to buy a new one. The first one's suction cup didn't hold one day and it fell into my water dish and stopped working! I would maybe suggest getting other suction cups than what it provides for you, or maybe using tape. Also, be careful where you hang it haha.C.B.

I bought four of these in the same order. I then placed them in the same room and location. They all match each other in temperature and humidity. They also match to another one that I bought many months ago. I don't know the accuracy of them, but at least they are all precise with each other. So it seems the factory calibration is very good.KHOA

BOTH THERMOMETERS WERE BROKEN… THE COMPANY IS RESHIPPING REPLACEMENT FREE OF CHARGE.
We purchased this product to use on our 19 year old John mule. He is a sweetheart, but isn't happy about having his temperature taken. This product is in and out so fast, he doesn't have time to object! It is very easy to use, and has a loop on the end so you can tie a string/clip to attach to the animal's tail so it won't hit the ground if it was to be expelled unexpectedly. Great product. Would definitely recommend.LYNN

Got right up and running upon installation of 4 AA batteries. Sensor unit seems sturdy enough to survive the elements (time will tell). I hung it up on the floor board of the balcony of the unit above. Seems very accurate so far sensing temp once a minute or so. Love the ease of placing the display anywhere we need to see it, and the numbers are visible across the room. Recommend!leeroye
7. Well & Good Digital Pet Thermometer
Reviews:
This comes under the category of “better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it” . I can’t say this is something to use on a regular basis for being a rectal thermometer, but when my older dog was very lethargic and not himself, it gave me a reading that I relayed to the vet who said to bring him in as he had a low fever. Glad I have it.Dennis H
My dog was not ill, but I wanted to test out this new rectal dog thermometer. Applied some aloe to rubricate the tip prior to insertion, but Bo was wondering what I was trying to do back there, and initially had difficulty keeping still. With encouragement and support, he relented. It took about 40 seconds to get a reading. In hindsight (pun intended), it was probably good to practice so it goes more smoothly if he's really not feeling well. The thermometer is well made and not too large.Good2go

Reviews:
I really should do a video review, these are fantastic little units, compact enough you can put them nearly anywhere, anywhere you want really. So first of all, I have 2 of these devices for personal use and a further 7 for work, I recently got another 3 for personal use and thought to write an in-depth review based on my own experience. In short, these units are mini data loggers that run off 3, AA batteries and have both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity I have had 2 of these units for a little over 10 months now, both are configured to upload data once every 60 minutes over the WiFi and even still they are between 50-75% remaining battery life on the original, included batteries. I feel it is important to mention before I go to far that I have read some other reviews on here and believe that they may have been taken out of context to their issues, specifically the permissions request by the app on install. As mentioned, by others that the app will not work if you do not grant it access to the Location service on your phone. While many believe this is to be unnecessary, it is actually a requisite by all Mobile phone developers who sell devices in the EU since Android 9 and even as far back as iOS 7 This is due to GDPR and other privacy concerns that previously mobile phone companies didn't need to inform the phone users how their data was being used, but now it is highlighting that location can be obtained from Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS (In order of accuracy) due to EU law. So while the configurarion of the device is via Bluetooth and as the device you are connected to has its own network connection, location services will be required, however reassuringly, it does not need accurate location (GPS) and only uses Bluetooth while the app is in use (to communicate with the sensors) Rest assured, I've tested it thoroughly and at no point has any identifiable location data been sent either to the sensor or to the network via the app. So back to the device itself. It is a great little unit, there is not many (if any) like it on the market that allow WiFi uplink of logged data so you ca retrieve it while away from home (I've read my data while away on holiday etc without an issue) The unit itself, takes reading of both temperature and humidity every 60 seconds and then later uploads it to the network so you can retrieve it wherever you are when away from the device. The device only works on 2.4ghz WiFi, which is a good thing as 5ghz WiFi lacks the range of 2.4ghz (one word of caution if you've never worked with split signal WiFi, find out how to get into your WiFi routers settings and rename the 5ghz signal, like "network_5g" and rename the 2.4ghz as "network_2" that way when you come to set up the sensor and you try to pair it to the 2.4 network you know it's connected to the right signal (usually most ISP routers have the same name for both 2.4 and 5ghz WiFi signals and sensors like this are unable to tell which one is which) The app has a great chart layout, where you can choose to see it in either Celsius or Fahrenheit and you can also zoom to your own view range or choose one of the predefined views, either hour, day, week, month or year. The app also allows you to export the data via email and can either be done on request or even scheduled so it automatically sends the data to you on the same day each month for example. As the device itself has no buttons or switches on it, all of the configuration is done via the app over a Bluetooth connection. The configuration choices allow you to; • Unique user assignable name/ID • Device safety (to block unwanted users) • Temperature alarm set points (upper and lower) note there is no sounder on the device, alerts are via the app • Humidity alarm set points (agaim, upper and lower) • Calibration adjustment for both temperature (+/-3'c) or humidity (+/-20%) • Data refresh frequency (WiFi) either 10/30 or 60 minutes • User guide (this menu is also used to pair the device with Alexa) Also, note that the data refresh rate setting does not affect how often the temperature or humidity reading are taken as these are automatically taken every 60 seconds and stored on the device, the data refresh rate is just how often this data is synchronised with the network via 2.4ghz WiFi. I hope you find this review useful, if you have then please upvote it below! ThanksAndrew C.
I will admit that I was really impressed with this when I first received it. Attractive, low cost and easy to set up. Some slight issues when connecting to wifi as the unit suggested it wasn't able to, only for me to find when going inside (I use it in my polytunnel) that in fact it had connected ok. It stayed connected, bar the occasional drop out for best part of a week but now, it connects maybe once or twice a day, briefly, before dropping out again. Even when I manually hold the unit under the wifi access point in my garden, it fails to connect. Then suddenly, often early in the morning, it briefly connects again. Lots of potential this product but there seems to be a real issue re wifi reliability and the in-app help features are really less help than useless.Russell H.
I have several of these Govee wifi thermo-hygrometer sensors working within the Govee App and I am very impressed by their performance. Unlike some other reviewers, I am not finding any wifi connectivity problems at all and can access the graphical data at any time from anywhere I happen to be, even abroad. I have also tested the accuracy of the Relative Humidity sensor readings using saturated salt solutions of Magnesium Chloride Hexhydrate 100% PH.Eur (33%RH) and Sodium Chloride 99.9% BP (75%RH) at 20 +/-2degC. The results were exceptionally good with the device cosistently reading 35.5% RH and 74.9% RH respectively after between 24 and 48 hrs. The reaction times were not properly tested but the device appeared to react quite rapidly when placed above each solution and given that the specification is +/- 3% RH the readings reached to within these limits in an acceptable time period. Temperature accuracy was not tested but, given that simple error compensation (albeit assuming linearity) is possible within the app, these devices appear to me to be excellent value for money. One device is positioned in a chill cabinet located in a separate garage and the quality of the signal is still good. I can definitely recommend these excellent little devices.Mr A.J.P.

Reviews:
I am currently using this product to monitor the humidity around my plants. It worked well at the beginning, however, if the humidity got over 90 it stopped working. It completely shut down. Once I got it super dry, it started working again, but this past month some of the numbers wont show up and some are just bits of the numbers. It looks like it was damaged. Its like it was dropped, but it was not. This thing is not 6 months old yet. I am hoping that a new battery is all it needs.vanessa.c
I received this exact item a few years back in a safe sleep class for infants which keyed in on SIDS when I had my 1st baby. I loved it so much so I searched for another and was thrilled when I it. I tested the accuracy by putting them side by side and to my surprise the readings are different. I even put new batteries in the old one to see if that made the difference but it didn't. It ranges between 2-4 degrees difference between the two of them. I dont know whether mine is faulty or what but it is very odd.Shannon
Bought one for every adult child I have, they all were happy. These are the best. I live in a basement apartment, basically a 2 car garage converted to an apartment, and I have one on each side of the concrete dividing wall. It shows if I need the humidifier in the winter, or the dehumidifier in the summer. This way I know when to turn them on as to have the perfect humidity, because let's face it, basements are damp, and I do not want mold, too much humidity is no good, but, not enough is not good either. So, id give these a 10.carol

Reviews:
If you want easy-to-read indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity, and don't need another clock, this is a very nice choice. The digits are large enough to read from across the room. The channel number, however, is small. If you use multiple remotes, you'll need to be close to see which one is being displayed. Controls are touch-screen, operated by tapping on icons rather than physical buttons. There's a manually-operated backlight if you want to read the screen in the dark. You won't be able to see the icon that tells you where to touch to turn the light on unless it's light enough that you don't need it, but it's easy to memorize the position. The base station has a typical mechanism, oddly called "all time," for viewing and resetting the maximum and minimum temperatures. It has another function, called "24 hour," that assumes you don't reset manually. The manual describes it incorrectly, but I experimented with it and found it works like this. Suppose you reset the maximum and minimum manually at, say, 11 AM. Then from that point until 11 AM the next day, the 24-hour function reports the maximum and minimum since the reset, exactly as the "all time" function does. Then, assuming you never reset manually again, the 24-hour function will reset itself automatically at 11 AM each day. Looking at the 24-hour maximum and minimum will always tell you the highest and lowest values observed since the most recent 11 AM.If you like the 24-hour function, you will never want to reset the device manually. There's no way to reset the "all time" maximum and minimum without restarting the 24-hour function. If you use it that way, you will normally want to look at the 24-hour maximum and minimum rather than the all-time maximum and minimum. However, displaying the maximum/minimum always defaults to "all time" and you have to make another button press to see the 24-hour values. Not a big deal, but an odd design choice. The unit I received had a defective humidity sensor in the base station. The company provided a replacement at no cost to me and with minimal hassle.Jennifer K.
I'm actually going to take a bit of time and write a review, because I really think this product deserves it. I've only had it for around two weeks, but so far, so good.I got this wireless thermometer for a bit of an unconventional purpose; as a wireless way to monitor temperature and humidity (mainly humidity) in my Crested Gecko's vivarium. The setup I have really doesn't allow for devices with cords/probes, and reviews for thermometer/hygrometers that were actually made for pets were pretty dismal. So, after seeing this new ThermoPro product with great reviews, I decided to give it a try (my gecko has a pretty big viv and he loves exploring new things, so the addition of a small sensor wouldn't bother him). The outdoor sensor seems to be working great thus far, no major erratic swings in readings at all (unless I do something to make it change, like misting the viv). It's waterproof, but you do need to have it upright so that water doesn't enter the sensor at the bottom. It has a little hole at the top that I threaded a paper clip and string through so I could hang it on a vine. It also has a bright red light that flashes every 30 seconds or so when it sends data to the main monitor, which I worried might bother my gecko, so I carefully covered the solid plastic and red light with dark painter's tape, leaving all the sensors and compartment-opening-points still exposed, and now the light is not noticeable at all, unless you're really hunting for it at just the right angle. Adding the tape did not affect the temp/humidity readouts at all; they stayed the same after applying the tape as they were before. The main readout monitor itself is really nice. It took me a few tries to really get the hang of the controls, but since there's only 3 buttons to tap, it's not that hard. Touch screen is hyper-sensitive, and the backlight (which I thought I would never use) actually is handy since it's positioned in a room that gets hardly any light after sunset, and the numbers can be hard to see if I want to check them in the evenings. But this room is exceptionally dark; the contrast on the readout is more than enough to be easily read in a normally-lit room.As far as accuracy goes, I have to say that it is accurate simply because it says the same things several of my other gauges do. I have one mercury-style thermometer, one analog thermometer, one thermometer/humidity laser gun, and one analog hygrometer. Between all those devices, the numbers really don't change. If anything, I would say my temp gun is the least accurate, but only because it isn't measuring the temp of the air, but the temp of the material it's pointed at, which varies greatly. Therefore, its accuracy is not quite in the same category. At any rate, I just got up and checked all the gauges, and they're identical to what this ThermoPro wireless device says. I find it hard to believe that so many different devices could all be wrong in the exact same way, so I believe this one is accurate.Setup was fairly quick and simple, and took way less time than the directions indicated; so much so that I set it all up twice just to be sure I did it right the first time. Same results, so it looks like it's all correct. All in all, it's shaping up to be a great little device, and I'm glad I got it. It gives me peace of mind to know that everything's the way it should be in my gecko's home with just a quick glance at the screen (which I placed on a nearby bookshelf), and I love knowing the temperature/humidity of my own home, since I did not have any sort of fancy thermostat before (old baseboard heating). I also like knowing that multiple sensors can be registered, so if I ever want to actually put one outside, I can get one and easily do so. If anything changes, I will update this review, but as of right now, I am very happy with my purchase. 🙂Rachel H.
Needed to replace an older wireless outdoor thermometer that finally gave out. Did quite a lot of searching on the internet and decided the ThermoPro TP65 was a good fit for what we wanted and at a reasonable price. Purchased the product on Amazon in Nov. 2018. We like the easy-to-read screen and the accuracy of the temperature readings seems to be right on. We liked the screen light at first, but soon stopped using it. Often when I have to get up in the night I like to check the outdoor temperature as I'm getting back in bed. The screen like works great, but the problem is at night you can't see the light button to turn it on, so you have to "feel" for it. The channel button is right next to the light button so if you touch that by mistake you lose the outdoor temperature reading. It took several frustrating events to figure out what was happening. Once we figured that out, I just use my phone as a light source to read the temp at night. Then in March 2019 the unit suddenly stopped registering the outdoor temp. Tried new batteries in both units and following the instructions for syncing the two over and over again. No luck. Finally called customer service. CS had me go through the procedure of battery removal, replacement and syncing yet again. Still no luck. CS then said they will send me a new TP65 set, don't even have to return the old set. Now that's customer service!Rollin R.

I have ordered a size that has got ample amount of room for the measurements that my dog has. Despite this, I am disappointed that my ordered product is not even being able to get the zipper close to each other and there is not even close to be. So be careful with the dogs measurements and then the reality of the product as the product is not corresponding with the information.Lars
My Pom has such thick fluffy fur, and this works to help cool her down. She has a harness she wears for walks so she’s used to wearing something similar and was excited when I pulled it out (she thought she was going on a walk). She is a bit bigger than your average Pom at 11 lbs, and the size small works good for her with all the extra fluff. Kind of hard to zip with the fur but the flap under the zipper helps tramendously cut down on hair zipping…if fact the clips on her harness do much more damage when it comes to hair snagging. I’d put a picture of her wearing it but it won’t let me upload one! Over all good buy.Sfox

I purchased this remote transponder to add to what I already have. I have a little girl and wanted to monitor the temperature in her room when she is sleeping at night. I already had the receiver which has a nice screen and yellow light for viewing at night time. This remote transponder works great. It paired up easily. FYI: if you have more than one remote transponder, you have to remove the pannel on the back and select which channel you want to use. My receiver will accept a total of 3 channels, but you have to individually tell each remote transponder what channel it is going to be. I had to call Thermo Pro customer service to find that out, and it was such an easy fix. On a side note, Thermo Pro customer service was quick and very friendly.Ember B.
I like it, BUT there's a couple bad things! PROS.. Nice blue backlight. Arrows to show if the humidity, & temp is steady, rising, or in a falling patterns. Big numbers on display, easy to see. Good reception distance. Nice toutch screen controls, unlike the other models with the unhandy button on the back to push. lithium battery (18650) included. 2AAA batteries also included. Looks, & feels like good quality. CONS… Temperature is a few degrees off between the remote sensor, and main display unit. Humidity is sometimes as much as 9% percent off. Would be nice to have the battery level of both units displayed on the screen. If you need something that tells the EXACT humidity, & temps, I'd look at something else much more expensive, and precise!secretsquirrel420
Everything appears to be working fine & the accuracy is relatively very close to accurate. The only thing I would like to see on the External Remotes are visible temperature readings at the site where they're placed which is away from the base unit, where the displays are reflected. In order to monitor the temperature in one of those remote areas I needed to add an old thermometer to insure the actual temp on the base is verified accurate in the enclosed/sealed well house. As long as there's 110V current @ the remote transmitter, you can plug-in the USB connection to a 110 outlet with USB ports. That way your remote site will always be fully-charged & your readings will show up on your base unit. Remote transmitter only lasts a few days if it's not connected to a 110V plug-in.Jellum

I was always sceptic about this kind of gadget but this made me change my mind. I thought of giving it a try and lo and behold, it does its job quite well. The front of my apartment faces the sun in the first part of the day, till noon or more really, and the temperature in the front rooms tends to get really high. Setting this gadget, through the Switchbot app, to close the Curtains when the temperature reaches a certain level did the trick of reducing the time the Air Conditioner is on and thus I am saving on electricity. Furthermore, I managed to keep a constant humidity in the rooms. I think I shall get another one for the other rooms now. By the way, it integrates quite well with Google Assistant but had some trouble with Alexa. The latter refuses to acknowledge its presence and reports the wrong temperature. I did not have any trouble with Google Assistant.Albert Z.
Does exactly what it's supposed to do, after a very easy and straightforward setup, highly recommended
I’ve got a couple of packs of meter plus and employed them each room. They are working very hard to ensure temp and humidity recorded and reported. Great to be able to see the history of the temp changes as well as exporting them. Interface of the temp history on the iPhone would be a bit difficult to navigate but yo can export it and use your computer if you fancy. Only problem is you need to connected to the meter plus individually to download the historical data and it could take a while if you haven’t been doing this often.Hasan

Serious review here from real dog folks. Raise Siberian Huskies (20+ years). Cold beach environment most of the year and periodic warm So. Cal. desert environment part of the year. Whenever we are in the warmer temps the huskies are in their Core Cooling vests. Bottom line: the vests work. The dogs want to put them on. They remain cool. When the vests dry we simply soak and squeeze and replace. We are all good to go. Pack and pack-leaders are happy. What more do you need to know? Great product. Fair price. I had an AcuRite wireless with temp/humidity, and used it for 15 years to decide about going fishing. The outdoor sensor finally died, and I bought another AcuRite. Turns out it wasn't very accurate — more like AcuWrong. I looked around and found this TermoPro, and I'm glad I bought it.First of all, it reads the temperatures in 10ths of a degree. Secondly, it gives the humidity both indoor and outdoor (which is why I buy these gadgets). Third, you can replace all the batteries without undoing any screws — not like my old AcuRute. Fourth: It uses AAA batteries, but only two in each piece. In the past, up in Wisconsin, we used Lithium Energizers for the outdoor sensor, with temps in winter often around -25 or more wind-chill. Alkaline won't work in those conditions, so only 2 AAA is a bit more affordable, maybe.Recently, I had to test my HVAC thermostat (turns out it had to be replaced), so I was using a very accurate digital thermometer, with decimal degrees. At the same time, I had the old AcuRite base station near to that thermometer. I saw that without the 10th degree display, I "thought" the temperature inside was a whole degree off. Using the decimal number, I saw that the thermostat would read the "on" temperature when it was over the 0.5 mark (rounding up and down). So I got this unit, and for the fun of it, set it up with batteries, and placed both the base station and the broadcast sensor next to each other, and next to the basic thermometer. It took awhile for the ThermoPro to become "acclimated," but I was busy so didn't think about it for an hour. Results (we're still using A/C here, now in the South): Test thermometer now reads 77.2 inside. ThermoPro reading 76.1 as the Indoor temp on the base station six inches away. ThermoPro "outdoor" sensor shows 77.1 six inches away, also inside at the moment. So about 1 degree off in the Base. I can live with that, since I have the other thermometer too. Outdoors looks pretty accurate, within half a degree.ThermoPro Base Station reading 52% humidity Indoors. Radio sensor shows 49% "outdoors," right next to the base station (about 2 inches from it). Humidity is pretty hard to read, though, so I'll trust the outdoor humidity reading "mostly."As I've watched, I notice the two units do swing up and down a bit. When the A/C kicks in, cools the room, then kicks off, the temperatures and humidity tend to come with 0.5 degrees and % points. All in all, it's a pretty decent unit. I like it a lot more than the new AcuRite I sent back, especially with the decimal point. Is it totally accurate? No….not for $17.Craig L.
The only thing important to me is that it works. I placed the outside unit under the roof eaves so sunlight could not get to it. Also away from the house wall. Previous item was off by a few degrees, possibly because of the above. Wall could have absorbed some heat from inside or maybe some trapped heat on the outside.Inside temp right on the money. I placed the inside unit next to the outside one and the readings were the same. I supposed that means it worked. I don't know about the settings because it came set as I wanted.Patches
This replaces a very similar ThermoPro unit that died because the rain got to the outdoor sensor. The new sensor appears to be the same, so I suspect it will not be more resistant to heavy rain/wind/splash than the last one.Accuracy is of course hard to assess. It is usually within a degree or two of the Weather Channel temp for my area, but I have a shaded garden with trees, and the official temp from the airport is taken in a wide open desert area, and 5 miles away. That said, there was a 2 degree F difference between the inside and remote sensors when measured side by side indoors. But this is not a highly accurate weather station! It will tell you when conditions are hazardous for sensitive plants.Humidity measurements have so far been very close to the Weather Channel numbers.Very easy to set up. Outside sensor placement can be problematic depending on your yard, available shade, reflected heat etc. An available shade device from the manufacturer would be very helpful.Azinaz
