I got this for a ~60lbs. labrador retriever and he seems to love it. Big enough on the inside for him to stand, turn around, and lay comfortably. It's sturdy, but not so heavy that it doesn't move around a little bit when he changes positions. It was easy enough to put together. A couple of the plastic screws didn't seem to have the ends filed off all the way (hard to describe but basically instead of a flat end, the plastic stuck out a little extra on one side instead of being flat across), which made them harder to fit straight through the holes in assembly. Fortunately, they send a few extra, so I had enough that were straight enough to put the crate together. Also, just be aware of the plastic bottom – I ran my hand across the bottom to clean it before putting it together and scraped my hand on a piece of plastic that stuck up a little (it was like a little ring manufacturing imprint). I filed it down before letting my dog in so he wouldn't get scraped on it, but just something to be on the look out for.Labbadabbadoo

The sizing recommendation by the manufacturer seems to be off. Dimensions are not the actual dimensions if you were to take a measuring tape and measure yourself. For my 55 lb border collie mix who sits at 27 inches tall and stands at 37 inches long from nose to base of tail a large would not fit. I ordered the XX Large and that is a way better fit where she can actually sit without being hunched over. This was purchased for air travel as well so I want her to be as comfortable as possible. The material seems relatively durable but it did arrive with a large crack so I will be exchanging. Compared to the Petmate Sky Kennel, this kennel seemed a little bit thinner in material and not as study. However, I order a Sky Kennel in a size Large so perhaps a sizing difference might have affected this. Most of all, our dog took to it the first time. We had the S, same company. Uma is getting big now. Of course, we chose the same company and same product, just L in size. When a puppy, accidents do happen. It is easy to clean. Uma is about 20lbs now and can stand up in the kennel. Still plenty of height room. She may become 30-40lbs and this kennel will be all we need. Our use is for nighttime and when we go out. We have the gray which does not stand out. It is a neutral color and looks good in your kitchen, bedroom or where you keep your dog. The kennel also provides a rectangular cage on both sides on the top half so the dog can look out. The Blue Buffalo Life Protection Beef and brown rice flavor was a HUGE hit!! I have two Labs and they are a little picky when it comes to dog food. I think they may be a little too pampered and spoiled to be honest. They only like the finer things in life. I have given my dogs Blue Buffalo dog food before, but it was the chicken and rice formula. I knew they would be super excited to try the Beef and rice formula. And I was right!! This formula may be the best formula that Blue Buffalo makes. My dogs went crazy for it. As soon as I opened the bag you should have seen their little noises going. They are both very well behaved dogs and they acted like little kids at a candy store. They LOVED it. The smell is mild and not too overpowering. Some dog food stinks horribly, this was not the case here. It actually had a very pleasant smell to it. My dogs definitely enjoyed it and knew exactly what it was when I opened the bag. I love how the formula is very small bite sized pieces. It is easier for the dogs to eat and prevents any chocking hazards. I didn’t taste it myself, but I can vouch for the flavor by the way my dogs enjoyed it so much. They both thought it tasted wonderful. They did not have any allergies to the food and it did not hurt their bellies to make the subtle transition to the Blue Buffalo food. Oh my goodness! I received a Ripplestreet Box in my mailbox and it was Blue Life Protection Beef & Brown Rice. I gave some to my shih tzu and she absolutely loves it! I have never seen my dog eat like that before! She loves it so much that she refuses to eat any other dog food at all! She even keeps going to the Blue Bag and begs for more. This is a well made dog bed. Easy to put together, very comfortable for my dog, stays cleaner than other dog beds, easy to remove and wash. I have a labrador retriever and initially got the large size, but exchanged it for the jumbo. The large size was a good size, but upon watching him sleep, i found out he likes to stretch out. Yes the jumbo size is very large and requires a lot of space in your room, but it is worth it to see him stretch out or curled up in his very comfy bed. A little pricey but he is worth it. I tried other beds and they are of inferior quality and won't last long. I highly recommend it. For your reference my dog is about 73 Lbs and measured 40 inches when laying down and lightly curled. Two dogs could fit in the jumbo bed if they decide to curl and lay next to each other. But not for stretching in a hot summer evening.Love Labradors 2

My 13 year old Lab was going for spirited 2 mile walks 4 months ago but alas, age it seems has finally caught up with my dearest and closest friend. His hips and knees have been noticeably troubling him, especially in the morning after a long sleep. He’s always had doggy beds but now more than ever I want him to be as comfortable as possible. This bed is FANTASTIC and my good boy loves it! He is 74 lbs but tall and lanky. The large measurements were too small for him, if you look in the picture the golden retriever in the large has zero room to stretch out. I am so glad I went with the XL. I have just found out from many vets that grain free dog food and signature specifically has been in a study that has shown it leads to heart failure in dogs. That being said I have been feeding this to my dog for 4 years and she just was diagnosed with heart disease and was in heart failure. I had to put her down at just 5 years old. After 3 years of horrible itching solved only by Apoquel meds, I am extremely happy to say that my dog is off the Apoquel as well as all other required supplements and ailments just to prevent itching so much (coconut oil, probiotics, etc). He just gets Zignature Duck dog food twice a day and he itches MAYBE 2 minutes in a 12 hour period. That's beyond incredible. Worth every cent. Our dog seems to be allergic to a bunch of stuff resulting in problems with his ears and feet. Tried him on this as it’s free of chicken and beef after much consideration of the recent stories about the risks of grain free food. At the end of the day we decided the incidences of health problems were sufficiently low to be not significant. Dogs seem to like it and one of them’s a fussy eater.

Deboned chicken in not the fresh photo you portray rather it's mechanically deboned chicken, another scrap product from human meat production that is deemed not allowed for human consumption. Chicken Meal are the disparate parts that are mechanically processed in a rendering plant. Rendered meat includes dead, diseased and dying animals, road kill and left over carcasses from processing plants that often have tumors, cancers, drugs, flea and tick collars. I used wellness puppy food for the first two months that I had my puppy, but I wanted to try the “large breed” variety, as she’s a golden retriever. The minute I made the switch, she’s been having awful diarrhea for days. I feel so bad! I didn’t put two and two together that it was the food until day 3 or so. I went back to the other puppy food and she’s getting better, but my boyfriend accidentally gave her a serving of this large breed food yesterday morning and she’s back to having a bad stomach. I should have checked the Wellness website before buying this food—they have 3 stars for this food on their site, all for the same reason—a sick puppy. Why are they still selling it if it’s making puppies so sick?! I feel awful. Wellness should consider stopping selling this food. As other reviewers have stated, it is not good. My husband and I love the ingredients in this food! We were so excited to be able to read the ingredients and there wasn’t one ingredient that was in scientific language. Unfortunately our pup has been getting diarrhea from it. I am unsure why because like I said the ingredients are awesome! I believe the price for the largest bag is great value for the ingredients. I tried this chicken recipe in the protein rotation for my Shih Tzu that's 17 months old but it constipated him pretty bad. He eats dry kibble regularly. I tried adding water to the kibble but he still was constipated. He's back on the duck kibble and his poop is back to normal. He ate the kibble with no problem but it just didn't agree with him. After I took the cot out of the box, I set it up inside in front of some large windows where I know my dog likes to sun himself. He was not sure what to make of it but I invited him up on it and the rest is history. He know uses it daily. It's plenty big to stretch out on and he acts like he is the king from high on his "perch". I am looking forward to using this outside when it warms up because the elevated bed should keep my dog cooler (with the air flow under it) but meanwhile it is making a nice spot inside the house. I bought this last summer for my senior dog, thinking it would be easier on his joints and also keep him cooler when he was resting on the back porch. It took some muscle, but I was able to put it together as directed without any tools. He didn't use it a lot, but I was pleased to see him on it occasionally, when it was particularly hot or cold outside. But yesterday the plastic piece that connects the side edge to the middle support leg sheared off. So after about 9 months of very light use, it is broken and unfixable. I really was excited to try my Lucky Dog Elevated Pet Bed Cot when it arrived. I wanted to see how the dogs would like it. They have always used more traditional type beds and this was a totally new experience. First of all, it needed to be assembled. When it arrives you see all kinds of tubes that need to be connected to set up the bed. The directions say it should take about 20 minutes to assemble for 1 person. We did not find that to be true and the instructions are not as clear as I believe they could be. It took my husband and myself well over an hour to get this bed right. Lining up the pieces and getting the connecters in tight was much more work than we anticipated. As far as how my dogs like it, one is still afraid of it after having it over a week and the other likes it pretty well. So the reaction to it was a bit mixed. To be fair, the dog who is afraid of it has a tendency to be a bit wimpy about things in general. The dog who likes it really doesn't sleep on it much, she just likes sitting on it to look out the window. The material is canvas like and I am not sure she finds it that comfortable to lay on, plus the middle kind of sinks down a bit and is not supportive. I tried putting on a blanket on it and she does seem to like that better. She will lay on it from time to time. Overall, I wouldn't neccesarily recommend this bed. It is just okay in my opinion.

It has worked well for my dogs over the years, however I’m frustrated their price has gone up. I think they are trying to keep up with the rat race of designer foods for dogs, which is ridiculous. I’ll make my own food, which I’m perfectly happy doing. My dogs thrive on that. Peas, red potatoes or sweet potatoes, even green beans, carrots, brown rice and chicken or ground beef. I also buy diamond’s High Energy food in the winter as my dogs are very active going after predators (the animal kind) and in winter they are spending extra energy keeping warm. My senior bulldog is very picky with what he eats. I have been a Pedigree user for years but as he gets older I know he needs extra nutrients and minerals to help him live as long as possible. This particular brand was great. The pieces are ideal for older dogs with less teeth, made like mini pancakes he had no issue chomping them right down. I noticed he was very chipper when it came to feeding time each and everyday. He seems to be getting up more and moving around outside enjoying the fresh air and even running a bit with the younger dogs. When placed beside a bowl of his previous brand he went to this one and ate every piece. We will continue to use this and hope he loves us out a while longer.Roland70707

We did have her another “top” brand but she's started not wanting to really eat it. Being picky as she does. We tried her on Iams because it's another brand I completely trust have my girls wellbeing in mind. She loves it. Had to actually get her bowl that slows her eating down because she wanted to scarf the whole thing in minutes. Pros – trusted brand. Good price. Good ingredients. I decided to have my parents' Senior dogs try this. They are getting picky in their older age and completely turned their noses up at the last bag of dog food my parents decided to have them try. However, they seem to really like this food! I like that it is specially formulated for older dogs. One of my parents' dogs has always walked with a limp – he was a stray that wandered onto their property as a pup and they think he was injured by his former owners. Undecided. Really, the dog is, not me. It can be a slow (or painful) process to transition a Great Dane to a new food. I would not be reviewing so soon but for the "chance to win $1000" because, right now, she has diarrhea. We are very satisfied with Fromm's – we started with puppy and have graduated to adult small breed and have nothing but positive things to say. He's a short haired and his coat still feels like when he was a puppy which I solely attribute to the quality ingredients in Fromm's. Fromm's isn't the cheapest but PetFlow has great prices and ships free if we order in larger quantities so we usually just do 30lb at a time (although if PF included Fromm's in the auto ship discount program then we'd definitely do it!). On a per meal basis it's not too expensive and probably doesn't hurt that he's 14lbs and doesn't eat a ton. Also of note, my dog has never had an issue eating it after 4.5 years so he clearly still likes the taste.Hamish

We began using Fromms for large breeds dog food when we were switching from puppy food to dog food because our black lab, Kona, was having sever diarrhea every time she ate any food. We tried about a dozen other dog foods with no luck when my sister, who owns a Havenise that also experienced digestive issues recommended Fromms dog food. As soon as we switched to Fromms large breed dog food Kona's digestive issues went away. Not only did the food stop the diarrhea but Kona and Delilah, our chocolate lab, love the taste, not to mention every time we visit our vet she is amazed at how shiny our dogs coats are. One of my neighbors actually asked us if we put oil on our dogs coats because they are so shiny and beautiful. I have recommended this dog food to many dog owners who own dogs that are picker eaters or that have digestive issues and time and time again their dogs love this food and any digestive issues seem to go away.
