Gave the red tongue to our 18month old lab, who really loves it. It's perfectly sized for her and for larger dogs. The ball portion is slightly smaller than a tennis ball, and the tongue is long, so I think it's probably too big for mini/toy dogs It's been a week and she hasn't completely torn it apart (better than most toys!). I have a relatively small dog who likes to chew, but doesn't destroy toys. I had to take this toy away after less than 5 minutes because there were little black pieces of plastic all over the floor. I got the Lavender Mint Shampoo, it really does what it says. Soothes, Calms, and Hydrates. Can be used for dogs and cats. I have a big dig, Giant Schnauzer, 92 lbs. John Paul is the co-founder of Paul Mitchell, this shampoo have directions in 3 different languages, makes a lot of lather, it have an awesome fragrance. Also gyves you a tip, that dogs don't like cold water, but tapid warm. It's tested on humans first, so if is good for human, is good for dogs. I noticed more lavender smell than mint. After shampooing and drying my dog, her coat is more shiny, and clean, you dont need much shampoo to clean as it makes a good lather. The fragrance last much more than other shampoos.et

I really like, John Paul Pet Lavender Mint Shampoo for Dogs and Cats. This shampoo is lavender and mint scented. When I got the shampoo I gave my cat a cleansing shampoo in the bathtub. I used a shower head on spray to get my cat wet. Then I applied the shampoo on my cats wet fur and rubbed it in to his body, Legs, and tail. Using a bath cloth around his head and ears. Then I rinsed off my cat with the shower head. Then I dried him off with a dry towel. Then used a brush on his fur till he was dry. Now my cats fur feels softer and looks shinier. I've noticed he scratches himself less now and smells like lavender and mint. The plastic bottle contains 16 ounces of shampoo that should last a long time. 1 After seeing the results of this shampoo. I plan on giving my cat a shampoo more often.RHR

I received the John Paul’s Pet a lavender dog and cat shampoo and it’s so nice! I’m not much of a lavender person so I don’t like smell all that much but the actual shampoo it’s self it great! It left my digs feeling soft and conditioned. I can’t wait to see the long her effects this has on my dogs skin. It’s supposed to help with irritated skin and soften the fur! i bought this shampoo based on the positive reviews for itchy skin issues. my min pin that has allergies,badly, on cytopoint,special diet,limited treats,flea control and limited exposure to outdoors due environmental allergies. i tried the shampoo,smell isnt over bearing, pleasent better than doggie b.o, hair soft and shiney and skin soft pliable, doesnt feel like his skin will tear or chaffing. however,two days after his bath he has dandruff on his back.so my question is for those that left positive reviews did you use the conditioner,as well as the shampoo? i only used the shampoo ,lathered,and rinsed and dried him off best i could. it seems to accomplish cleaning not remoisturize his skin, he has very dry flaky skin on back and hairloss. anyone else experience this and if so did the conditioner to the trick or move on to another formula or brand that worked better for them. i have tried quite a number of other and got tired cluttering under my sink and gave to shelter.holliaj48

This shampoo smells really good and it definitely brightens up my little guy! There's is a noticeable difference after i bath him in this. After lathering, you have to leave it on for about 5 minutes, as with all purple shampoos. I make sure to put a heavy amount on his paws and bum. These are areas that's tend to strain over time. In between baths, i clean his paws with this as well, leaving it on for 5 minutes then thoroughly rinsing. After he's all dried, he doesn't seem irritated so i believe it is NOT drying out his skin like some brightening shampoos are known for.natalie .g

I bought this originally for my nieces new and tiny miniature Dockson puppy and we ended up using it on her other mini Dockson and our poodle. It’s almost impossible to bath your dog or puppy with out them licking the water or the soap on themselves. This soap they can get distracted in licking it and it is gentle enough that it won’t hurt them a bit. *not that I’m suggesting to reward bad habits but if you bath your pets at home then you known the struggle is real!* We still use this even though they aren’t puppies anymore. The other big thing I love about this is I can wash above the neck! I am careful to protect their eyes but it’s so nice to have a shampoo that doesn’t say wash from neck down, leaving your dog still dirty. These chews work great! Not only that, but my dogs love them. Although it’ll never be as good as just brushing their teeth, it is a whole lot easier and it’s better than doing nothing! One of my dogs sometimes gets itchy skin, no other issues with her skin she just gets itchy. I figured it would be nice if I could find a shampoo to help her out. This one does the trick. She seems much more comfortable after her baths and I love how clean it gets all my dogs. Its very easy to lather up and it rinses clean. The smell is great if youre into fruity…if you dont like fruity itd be best to skip this one. I think this would be a great shampoo for any coat type…I use it on a rat terrier, a mini poodle, and a Great Pyrenees.L.

Good dog shampoo is really hard to find but I really like this one. It is a little bit pricey but the bottle is a good size. The only way I would improve this product is making it a little cheaper or affordable. My dogs and I love this very much. I love the whole line, but lately, my dog has been suffering from allergies, so I switched to this one. It smells amazing, which I love, but more importantly, it's definitely helping with her skin irritations from her allergies. She doesn't scratch even half as much as before. Before I switched, she would scratch so hard, her belly was covered in scratched, bite marks from chewing, and sometimes it was so bad she bled. Now, she has a clear tummy, because she doesn't have the urge to scratch. This was a lifesaver. Have you ever had a Pillsbury orange cinnamon roll? The frosting this is the frosting in a bottle. It smells great and no wet dog smell after the bath and I wash everything but her face. She's an amstaff so she sheds but is very short haired not sure if that makes a difference. There is no skin irration or stomach irration (since we all know dogs lick themselves more after a bath.) We just towel dry no blowers here (she's a scaredy cat lol) followed up with the strawberry yogurt leave in conditioner (smells like Quakers strawberry and cream instant oat meal) and she is so soft. Left my hands soft and too. They smell great combined. No products have left her feeling or smelling this good. I'd rate higher if I could. Will be my new go to product. Only compliant is that the cute little bone topper should be a pull top instead of a twist off. They can be difficult to manage with an unruly pup. Would recommend and I'm a picky person.H.

I turned to this product for my cat after everything else failed. She has a chronic sinus infection that did not respond to multiple rounds of two different antibiotics. She stopped eating and was losing weight. I put drops of this on her food twice a day and she seems to tolerate it. I cannot dose her directly into her mouth, being a cat once was enough and she wriggles free when I try to dose her. She is not cured but is much better and her quality of life is much improved. My dog sleeps with his mouth open like he has 3 jobs, but because of this additive to his water, his morning breath hasn't been too bad. Its the only thing responsible for his pearly white because I am a bad dog mom who doesn't brush her dogs' teeth often (5 times a year maybe? lol) but hoping this stuff is doing what it promises. As far as tartar remover, I can't say but he had his last teeth cleaning 1.5 years ago and at his recent vet visit the vet said we have nothing to worry about and that his teeth are still looking good! My babies go CRAZY over the Minties – I've tried other semilunar brands and they won't eat them. They no longer carry Minties at any Sam's near me – so THANK GOODNESS I can buy them on line. On Sunday my bf went to Sam's and bought these treats b/c we are fostering an Australian Terrier and also have a Maltipoo so we wanted to give them treats for good behavior and keep their mouth clean. We gave these treats to them on Monday evening and that's all she ate for the rest of the night. Well – Tuesday my Maltipoo began having really loud stomach gurgles and just a small bit of loose stools. Then at night she ended up puking three times, and then having some dyarrea. I could not figure out what was wrong. I even though it was from some chicken that we fed both of them that my boyfriend and I had cooked and season fresh for them. (Yes we are those types of dog owners since we don't have kids.) So THEN, Wednesday her symptoms worsened and then had massive loose stools overnight. My boyfriend went to the store at 6am to get her some medicine for her stomach. I thought she was doing better, but Thursday overnight into Friday morning she had even MORE runny stools. My Maltipoo is potty trained, but poor gal went in five different places. She didn't even make it to the bathroom. I was glad she wasn't throwing up anymore and thankful I have the Bissell Spot Bot, but she didn't feel good. My dogs are not allowed on my bed, she sleeps in memory foam Serta next to me, but last night she wanted me to hold her and she kept trying to get on my bed and ended up sleeping right beneath me under the space below my bed so she was closer to me. You can tell she's sad and is not feeling well. If my dog doesn't feel better today, I'm taking her to the Vet. My bf is staying home with her today as I had to go to work, and keeping her a close watch to make sure she's at least still drinking water. The medicine we got her has helped, but I'm afraid these MINTIES that have caused my Maltipoo to get violently ill are going to do more damage. My Australian Terrier will eat ANYTHING, and his stools have also been runny and un-normal, but not as bad as my Maltipoo. Still – Minties should make sure they have a safe formula. No product should cause this type of distress in a dog and this much damage. That's not safe. My Maltipoo was gifted to me for my birthday and she is my soul. I love her more than anything in this world and I just want her to feel better. I'm really upset and it's painful to watch my Maltipoo be in this kind of state. I will try to add photo and video if possible. I would never recommend this product to anyone. I have over 1,000 followers on social media and have already let them know to avoid this product.NBTB

Our beagle is super attached to us, whenever we leave she's in the window crying and howling the entire time. I have four dogs and they all have terrible anxiety. I have tried calming treats before but they had CBD in them which resulted in behavioral changes and were just not a good fit. I decided to try these and I must say I'm impressed. I have seen significance improvement on behavior. Before, the dogs would said barking, howling, and whining as soon as I walked out the door. Now I just give them a treat about an hour before I leave and they're calm all day. It's really calmed them down and I haven't seen any negative effects like with the CBD alternatives. While I don't know if this is placebo effect or if this product really does change my dog's fear level, my pup has been doing much better at calming down when I give her one of these. She gets pretty worked up when she sees strangers (especially in the mornings, her hyper time anyways). On days when I give her one of these treats when we wake up, I think she's able to chill out easier after an event than on days she doesn't get one of these. My cat developed dental/plaque allergies, and this combined with a steroid shot keeps his teeth. He no longer drools, can eat (canned food), and is fairly normal. It extends the steroid shot for a full month to two months before he starts showing issues again. It's not a cure, but it's keeping his teeth for a little longer and helping him get fat and healthy in prep for his teeth removal surgery. The longer he takes it, the better he gets.Emily O

Completely aside from this size being WAY better value for money than I could EVER buy in Australia – This stuff WORKS. My dogs have less tartar on their teeth and what is there is just softer and easier to remove than before I started using this. Both dogs are Spitz breeds (you know, "Independent") and don't tolerate me brushing their teeth. Adding complications: one is allergic to all meat besides fish and the other suffers from anxiety. Hard to find a tasty toothpaste to entice the allergic one and practically impossible to train the other to accept a brush in his mouth. It was hard enough to condition him to let us touch all around his mouth and the concern about ruining that hard work is real. (FYI both dogs are the same medium sized Spitz breed) With a scoop of this with dinner this and raw carrots first thing in the morning their teeth have never been better!
