I don’t love this cover. There is nothing to hold it onto the crate so it slips about. I am going to sew some ties onto the bottom to help keep it in place. I do like the option to open different parts of the cover for different doors on the crate. The pattern is nice and also.Little cat dog

The cover was just as I expected. Light weight, durable and easy to care for. The oy recommendation I can .American is to add velcro/hook&loop fasteners to keep the top of the cover in place. This would prevent the occupant from chewing and keep the cover in place. The for is drab but it gives the crate a dark den appearance so the occupationt is calm and content. I have found over the years that animals naturally respond favorably to a darkened environment. They are more relaxed and calm. Babies in a crate with natural, artificial, even greatly reduced lighting remain alert, peering into the darkness. They often whine, whimper, or bark, but cover the crate and within minutes, they unwind and are off to sleep. For this reason, I have put dark cloth or a blanket over my crates. These covers make it so much easier, and they don't shift or hang on the floor. They look tidier and I can vacuum around the crate without catching the cover.Zuwadi

Truly a nice furniture kennel. Bought it without reviews, so took a chance. One of the containers was destroyed in shipment, but it’s packed with styrofoam all around so no damage! The locking mechanism seems sturdy. The bars seem sturdy. The boards are strong. The instructions are pictures, but easy to follow along with. My dogs are well behaved in kennel, so not sure how it will stand up with one who’s not. Overall, I’d recommend it!MML

First a foremost, I was really upset that I had to shell out over a hundred bucks for a dog cage. But since we have a brute escape artist that kept destroying her old kennel and hurting herself during the process. With this kennel, it has stopped all escapes, no signs of giving or stress. She's made it her home even when she doesn't need to be there.it comes with removable caster wheels for easy relocation, or take them off and leave it stationary while cutting a few inches off the overall height,The door is easily removable and attaches back on in a matter of a few seconds. The tree is just a tad under 5 foot. Not a problem for our little living room. The LED lights can be very bright–but you can unplug the LED lights! It still has 8 different light mod's even with the LED's unpluged. The longer branches on the bottom will not hold heavy ornaments. Light weight ornaments and garland is fine. It really is pretty even with out ornaments. The fiber optics make it a very colorful tree, even in the day time. The LED's are to brite for our liking. Not a problem for us we just unpluged them! Hey it's a 60 dollar tree. We are happy with it. You will have to fold down all of the branches they are not hinged like some of the higher dollar trees. It filled out nice! Poor Quality, for the price of this crate I expected it to be easily put together. I had to drill new holes because they didn’t line up. The latches interfered with the closing of the door. The door was not centered correctly and required lifting to shut properly. Arrived bend.Avgjoe

This is a very large kennel. It's perfect for a German Shepherd, Husky, Lab size dog etc. Very easy to assemble. The door works flawlessly. I got this because I have 2 senior dogs a Retriever and a Collie mix and needed something to secure them in the back of my suv when taking them to the vet or groomer. I found that it is much safer to transport them this way than to let them be on the back seat unsecured. I finally have the right size kennel to do so. This is a perfect kennel for dogs like labs/retrievers. There's enough room for most dogs that size to stand up. I do wish these kinds of kennels had a few extra slots on the bottom so it wasn't quite so dark. It's very easy to put together. Wow this is exactly what I needed for my favorite fur baby on the planet. It was so easy to put together by myself without any issues. It’s thick sturdy plastic that will last years even decades. My doggy loves to get in and lay down even when we’re not traveling. I leave it set up for him always, it’s like his clubhouse and he truly enjoys it even when traveling I put in my back set and he just lays in it , honestly it’s the best spot in the car to ride now. We have tried many Kennels/Crates for our dog, she suffers from Anxiety and nothing has kept her as safe as this kennel. Any metal kennel, regardless of how indestructible it has advertised to be, we have come home to a scraped up bleeding dog that is out in the house and destroying things. She is a pitbull and she chews through anything. The kennels that are plastic with the metal grates on the side she chews on the door and breaks the metal on the sides and at this point has ruined her teeth. We have put her in the Ruff Land Performance kennel twice, once for two hours, great success and once for an entire day. She was calmer, and no blood or destruction to the crate. Wish I had seen this crate 9 years ago. Another feature we like is that it has a flat floor, rather than one that is either metal grating or has a few round circles protruding to allow stacking of kennels. We are amazed and so thankful to have this crate. I would recommend this crate to any dog owner. I can't say enough good about it.Diana B

We tried the reinforced wire crates with no success. If he could get out, he would. The next step was possibly getting those ultra reinforced crates that cost almost a thousand dollars and almost require financing. This has been the perfect compromise. It’s sturdy and durable. My chabrador (chow-labrador mix) has plenty of space to turn around and lay down in this kennel. He is kenneled while I'm working, and he easily goes to lay down when it's time for me to leave in the morning. At night and on the weekends, my rat terrier likes to claim this kennel as her own spot. Very sturdy and fairly light weight. Not too wide, so it's easy to find a place to make space for this kennel.Shane

I purchased two of these "KennelMaster 24" Folding Black Wire 2 Door Dog Crate" and have had them for several months. What a great buy! Super easy to set up: they come preassembled and all folded up. They unfold and set up in a minute. I have one for each of my dogs: a Maltese/Bichon mix and a Chihuahua mix (who looks just like a small German Shepherd). We use their crates for the night time and when we leave the house. These crates are made of very nice thick metal. Incredibly sturdy. The latches are well made and smart-doggy proof. I like that the bottom is solid and can be easily removed and sanitized. My dogs have scratched and nibbled on the bars daily and the crates have held up like new. There are two doors on each crate: one door on a long side and one door on a short side. There's also a handle on top which makes it really easy to move around when I am relocating it, transporting the dogs, or just moving the crates to vacuum and clean underneath. My crates also came with some additional wire dividers that I don't use. I believe they are for making the crate smaller when you have a puppy and removing it as your dog grows. Crates can be really expensive so I was glad to find these at such a bargain price, especially because they are so well made. I know these crates will last many, many years. I have no negative things to say about these dog crates. I would highly recommend them! Please note: I do not put both dogs in the same crate, though they do both fit. Good quality heavy duty cage for my Doberman puppy. The chewed the wires off the regular cage. Only concern is the tray goes under the metal grate at the bottom of the cage. Not good at all. He got his foot pad/toe caught in it. Also his collar caught in it. I forced the tray to go into the cage on top of the grate. Problem solved. Need to have an option of where to put it. Would recommend with supervision of your dog. No collars on when grate is not covered. Good tough cage. Neighbor bought same fir her bull dog puppy same age as my dobie. She likes it also. *The price was very reasonable and the size/construction was surprisingly sturdy. *As an added bonus, our cage has a side door that wasn't advertised. We almost didn't purchase this one since it appeared to only have the one door at the end. But our cage has a second door that swings out from the side panel. *We have always taken small (4" size) zip ties and secured the corners of our cages to provide added strength – in case dogs paw at the cage. I would still recommend zip ties although the cage seems to snap in place tightly. Of course, if you frequently fold down the cage, replacing zip ties can become cumbersome. *The plastic pan on the bottom is thinner than our last cage, but our dogs have not chewed or scratched at them previously, so this won't be a problem for us. *The carrying handle appears strong enough to lift the empty cage and will be useful. *Upper and lower slide latches are provided on each door. All latches have a rod bent at the end to help secure the latch. In the past, our dogs learned to shake the door until the latch slid over but this new design prevents the latch from sliding open.KYMom

I bought one of these and liked it so much that I just purchased another one. Both are the 42 inch size.I have 2 older 42 inch similar type kennels but they are a different brand and I paid a lot more for them. I think that the BestPet brand wire pet cage/crate/kennels are just as good as the more expensive ones that I have. In fact I was able to purchase two of the BestPet kennels for what I paid for one of the older kennels I have. I like the latches on the Best Pet kennels. They have a little "crook" on the end that prevents the latch from sliding open accidently. But it is easy for a human to open and close. I am an older woman and the kennels are easy for me to move around to the areas I desire to put them. They are sturdy, but easy to handle,and have the plastic slide out tray at the bottom for easy cleaning, I was unsure about this Brand at first because the price was so GOOD that I figured something had to be flawed with this kennel but I was very wrong. I do think it is a good idea to buy a couple of extra plastic trays or if you are crafty cut a piece of heavy duty plastic to have on hand when you change out a tray for cleaning. Plastic is just plastic so a heavy dog could cause damage to the tray .But the trays I got with my kennels are not flimsy at all. The kennel comes with a plastic handle that can be attached at the top. I live in a rural and at night the coyotes and other undesirable critters come out and I have had problems with Tom cats just mauling my young cats. So now I can put my kittens or young cats and puppies in kennels at night and I don't have to worry and fret about what is happening in the dark to them. Also, this will save me money in Vet bills. The cost of just one of the large kennels is about the cost of an office visit to the vet so I am very pleased to wake up each day and know that all of my "babies" are safe and happy. Included with the kennel is a wire divider that can be put in the kennel so you can keep pets separated from each other. I had one particular cat that had an injury that seemed to outsmart me and escape from any cage I tried to keep her in. She can't get out of this Best Pet kennel. I will buy a couple more of the 42 inch size kennels to have on hand because the price and quality is so great and I plan to buy a couple of the smaller wire ones to transport cats and pups to the vet in. I find the plastic cat carriers to be attractive but not so practical when you have a heavy cat or a "wild" cat or unhappy dog that needs an injection from the vet before it can be removed from the carrier to be tended to. Super cool crate for transportation of your fur children. Pops right up and nice and sturdy. I use this for my three cats, and they love it, fit perfectly in the large size with their little water and food container. They don't throw a fit or go crazy because it is cozy and roomy. So easy to store, easy to pop up, easy to lift as it is lightweight but sturdy. I used it for VET trips recently, so very handy. And plan on using this on a 2000-mile trip coming up.Maxamalist

We have a powerfully built 40 pound mutt who can muscle her way out of her old crate by popping the single latched door open. We had to add an extra clip to the door to keep her in the crate, which is a pain getting the clip on and off to let her in and out. She can’t gorse the door on this crate open due to the double latches AND the extra “hook” on the tip that holds the latches in place. My little bulldozer can’t open this crate by force and go counter surfing, much to her dismay.TKettle

Got this for a large dog to recover from surgery. Not as strong as a large welded wire portable kennel. It does allow more room to stretch out than the large portable kennel. If your animal needs room to move around, this may be a good kennel. Not super sturdy. Walls will moved out since they are connected with brackets (two each panel). May not be escape proof. No attached floor. Fitted tarp cover is nice. There are no cheap kennels out there. This one was priced okay and shipped free to my door. It was packaged well.CheapTX Guy

This is an extremely sturdy kennel and of high quality. Very easy to assemble. I assembled it myself and completely finished it took me about an hour and a half. The only downside is this kennel doesn't come with anchors that go in the ground to give it that extra firm support, however it doesn't appear to need it, as the kennel is extremely sturdy without them. Quality product at an awesome price. This crate is heavy duty enough for my 2 year old, 160lb Great Dane. She is able to stretch out and stand up. When she does her pawing at the bedding at bed time it doesn't shake or rattle. Its easy to open and close. These came today, wonderful kennels at an affordable price. Feel substantial compared to my old screw together. I will order metal doors to meet airline requirements. I measured the best I could and hoped for the best and lucked out, as have a 2022 Ram 1500 and can fit both back to back (kennel door facing Ram door on each side) with probably not a 1/2" to spare, but they fit. To keep my gun dogs warm enroute rather than freezing in the pickup bed. I would buy these again in a heartbeat! Great kennel, ordered a medium for a 30lb long legged dog, probably a touch small. Dog has been a kennel DESTROYER! We have gone through 8 kennels. It’s been 2 weeks, she has been able to chew the inside a bit on the inside corners but not too bad. She was able to pop the door open once and gnaw on the front but I think that due to a child not closing the door completely. All in all pleased with the kennel. I bought the medium sized kennel for my Shih Tzu. The size is perfect with plenty of room for him to play. The kennel is sturdy with an easy to operate door. The total time to assemble this kennel was about (1) hour (my husband put it together by himself). You will need something to cut the excess wire (the screws on the door need to be cut back before you can cap them off and the wires that connect the fence to the structure need to be twisted and trimmed to avoid injury). The sunshade DOES NOT cover the entire kennel. which I knew about from other reviews. I left the 2 inch gap near the door so I can stick my arm into the kennel and pet my dog while I walk by. This was simple to assemble, and sturdy. The only issues were small: two spots in the chain link fence, the wires didn't weave correctly so there were holes; and the locking mechanism on the gate is very cheap. I don't think I will use the gate mechanism because my dog could easily push it up and open the gate. I purchased the 4X6X4 Chain Link Kennel for my Flat Coated Retriever. I received it on the day it was supposed to arrive. It was packaged well. All the pieces parts were there and it is a very easy to assemble product. Myself and a friend actually had it assembled in 1/2 hour with the exception of the ties to secure the fencing. I love everything about this dog pen, except that one of the panels was missing the upper hinge. I did not want the hassle and wastefulness of returning the entire large and heavy item. I tried to see if I could just get a single replacement panel, but I don't know how to do that. I guess I will just keep it and only use 7 of the panels *Sigh* (If anyone can get a single panel replacement – please let me know!) The raised gate is perfect for not rubbing on the floor and scratching it up. the panels are not too heavy I could construct the pen easily. I love that there are different shapes that you can make with the panels, depending on your space available. If I could give zero stars I would. It has rusted so badly HUGE FLAKES fall off of it. Not only is it now unattractive I worry about the health of my dog. The rust is merely from getting wet from his water bowl and a squirt bottle. I have used this to host puppy playdates over 2 years. Cannot be happier with purchase. My front yard is not completely fenced; There was a need to fence off, but not permanently as we use front yard for other purposes. Fences are flexible, can be set up in any figures as needed. Once I figure out where to put fences, it takes 10 mins to set up, 10 mins to take down. I initially bought 2 sets, and neighbors and friends praised, and we had so many puppy visitors. That led me to buy 1 more set so the playpen could be bigger. Despite I have 3x sets, once taken down, they store nicely in small tight space on the side of house. Each set comes with 1 panel with a door. Since I have 3x sets, I have 3x panels with door. I set up door fences on three sides of yard for convenience. Summer days, we had playpen every evening. Throughout year, we hosted playpen for every possible occasions; puppy birthday, anniversary, holidays, new puppy debut… We initially worried that some dogs might jump out and run away, but that never happened. Dogs are capable, but wanted to stay inside for fun. We actually had dogs jump in. If you need to just hold puppies around 1 – 3 months, you could buy 1 set. But, if you are planning any meaningful puppy playdate, you will need minimum 2 sets, most likely 3or 4. I bought this 42” crate for an English Cream Golden Retriever puppy that we brought home at 8 weeks old. First night in our home, she went right in the crate and laid down. So for young puppies or small dogs, use the divider until the puppy is crate trained and/or needs more space. Ours is now almost 6 months old and still has never had an accident in her crate. I only used the divider for about two months because my puppy got big, very quickly. This crate is so easy to set up, collapse and take with you on a trip. It’s kind of heavy as all crates are but very manageable and so worth it. You can’t beat this price either! It is well made, affordable, has two doors to choose from depending on how you have it set up. I purchased a crate cover which creates a den like special place for my dog when we leave the house now while we sleep overnight. I also purchased basic crate beds, which are machine washable, light weight and durable. I would buy again and highly recommend this crate for crate training.AC

This dog crate is great! It’s sturdy but not too heavy. That’s important for me because of taking my Sassy girl around with me for traveling and vet appointments. If I put the empty cage in our truck, she’ll jump right in there. There is plenty of room for her to move around and get comfortable. It’s nice that it has the divider. She’s already house trained but it would have been handy for that purpose. My daughter has a mid sized Rottweiler that we can use the divider for too. They get along really well but it’ll give them their own areas if needed. I like the latch system. It makes it really hard to not latch it correctly which means less escaping. Then to open it you just have to lift and slide. I love the.two door feature. It gives you twice the options if you have to put it against a wall or walls.Onebusymama

This dog crate was a complete lifesaver at the holidays! My sister brought her two large dogs to my mom's for Christmas and they are about 50 pounds each and both fit comfortably in this at different times to calm them down. It literally sets up from the box to a working crate within minutes. It is sturdy and comes with a divider inside if you need to keep two animals separate or comes right out if you don't need it. It is super roomy inside and we added the orthopedic cushion in the bottom of the crate for maximum comfort for the dogs. This has been the easiest kennel I've ever set up right out of the box. This is a nice crate and since the last time I purchased one I have noticed improvements by adding latching connectors instead of those old thumb screws and this particular one has the wheels which I find very helpful when moving it around the house.hwana63
