Kong Ring Dog Toy For Sale (2024 Update)

This is the first toy that my dog has not been able to chew up…so far. He normally destroys the chew toys I buy him in 5 to 10 minutes.kmiles

It\'s got a nice squeak to it, but it\'s a little harder to squeeze to make the noise. If your pup is on the generally softer nibbling side it might not make much noise at all. Seems pretty durable as well, though it isn\'t my pups favourite toy right now.Odin

I am glad I got this on clearance. While the idea and durability of the product is very good, the slots to try to put some kibble in are way too narrow and stiff. The kibble I use is tiny and I can barely get a couple in. I usually end up putting some Kong peanut butter in the 2 wells on the sides and putting kibble in there. I wanted it to be a little more challenging for my small, older pup. But she enjoys it nonetheless.JoJoD33

Both my dogs love this toy. Not sure why or what it is about this toy . Just be careful that the brown pieces do come off slowly but not in big pieces or too crazy that would chock my 55 and 75 lbs dog. But both my dogs love this toy. Even my fur-niece pick this toy upon her visits .Ngee

Hi all, My dog is an extremely aggressive chewer. The rubber Kong toys like this ring are the only type of toy he can keep around. The hidden squeaker is perfect, no matter how hard he chews he can't get to it! On his previous bone toy he did eventually manage to chew through the glue holding it together and we had to throw it away. But seeing as how it was his longest lasting toy(4 months) and it was also one of his cheapest I am not complaining. If your dog is also an aggressive chewer this is the product for you. My Boston Terrier is absolutely obsessed with this thing. It's flexible enough that she can pick it up in her mouth and squeak it while still being tough enough to withstand rough play. If my Heeler was interested in it, she'd probably chew a hole right through it because her jaws are much more powerful with bigger teeth (and she's more of a chewer), but luckily she's not! I ordered these for my rescue pup for when we leave the house. They're great! She is very attached to me so giving her one of these kongs with peanut butter in her kennel right before we leave works perfectly! They material is very durable! Kong dog toys make great dog chews with added fun! Some dogs love to chew and will chew things just for something to do and having a kong toy on hand to occupy them is a good idea. You can add peanut butter inside the Kong and it will keep them busy trying to get the treat out of it. It provides hours of fun and the dogs don't ever get sick of playing with it and chewing on it. They are made of super durable rubber. They are pretty close to indestructible. They withstand hours and hours of rough play without falling apart and puppies sharp teeth are no match for Kong. I used to buy nylabones but my dogs seem to use the Kong a lot more. I know with my dogs they love anything new they get for a little while and then they kind of get sick of it and stop playing with it. The Kong has really kept My dogs intrest and I think it's because of the added treat inside. My border collie thinks that she was put on this earth to destroy any and everything in get path. She has destroyed many a door and window from her incessant chewing and most toys hold no interest with her but even she loves Kong toys. I don't know about the breath freshening but I can say that the kongs must clean there teeth because of the rubber dragging across the teeth so much as they chew and lick. Its a long lasting toy that will definitely provide lots of fun. They are available at most pet care supply stores. They are a bit expensive, but it's worth it for how long lasting they are. They are a much safer alternative to rawhides or bones. No worry about them choking or swallowing none splinters. Check the Kong for damages before use and it's pretty safe. I think most dogs will love it and it should clean the teeth if they chew on it. I would recommend it to dogs who are energetic or dogs who love to chew. It works great for my dog who looses interest very quickly in toys so if and when she wears hers out I will definitely go out and purchase another for her.lindsey4488

The Kong Bounzer is completely different than the original Kong that you fill with treats or the squeeze flavor stuff. It is shaped similarly, but they serve completely different purposes. The Bounzer comes in medium, large, and extra-large. My dog is about 15 lbs and the medium is about as big as he can handle. This is almost like a ball that's shaped like a giant Kong with a handle on top. It's hollow and made of a thick rubber. It has a teeny tiny hole on the bottom that allows air in and out when you squeeze it, like a squeaker toy, but doesn't make any sound other than air being pushed out. It bounces incredibly high with little control, so you have to be careful on the house, but my dog is absolutely obsessed. My dog destroys toys, like pulls stuffing out in minutes and loves to strip tennis balls of their felt covering, but he has not destroyed this toy. I gave the xl bounzer to my 19 month old English Staffy at 6.00pm so I could watch the News in peace. By 6.07 pm she had chewed the first hole and by 6.14 the hole was big enough for her to put her head in it. Her first bounzer lasted a couple of hours and I was hoping to get a better value out of this one. If it was possible to give this item zero stars I would. We got this for our dog when he was a puppy because he is a chewer. He still likes to chew on toys and he is 2 year old rottie. We also have a boxer-rottie who likes to fight with the other dog over this toy. It is durable for big dogs and can really tug at it without breaking it. I believe there is also a black kong which is more durable. This is also good to put treats and peanut butter in to distract the dogs for awhile. Overall great product! I cannot rave about this brush ENOUGH! I have a Pug, so as any pug owner can tell you, THEY SHED, and they shed like a big dog would. This brush is incredible for any short haired doggy. When you use it, brush in a circular motion and you can just watch all the loose hairs come up. I was shocked the first time I used this because the amount of hair that it picks up and takes off is nuts. I had been using a regular brush at first for short haired dogs, now I combine the two. I start off with this to loosen the hair, and follow with the regular brush to pick up anything that comes off. This is a miracle brush. OK, I have been humbled. I see you did post my review I wrote last week, where I gave this item only two stars. Well, my dog kept bringing it to me, so I did put in some snacks. They did have to be bigger, so they wouldn't fall out of the big hole all at once. My dog had so much fun with the holder and we use this every morning at 10:30, which is her "treat" time. I have changed this to 4 stars, please delete my last review, if possible. My dog taught me a good lesson…don't make quick decisions, you may have to eat crow.Teri

If you have a small breed, this is the Kong to get. It is a little softer than the regular Kong, so it makes it easier for a small breed to get to the yummies. We have a 12 lb. chihuahua mix and she would give up with the red Kong but this one keeps her occupied – frozen apple with some peanut butter or frozen green beans with a little peanut butter – a "pupsicle" that keeps her occupied doing a natural dog behavior.Walktadawg

Great dog toy. Easily visible as it's bright orange, floats in water which is a godsend as my dog loves water and taking his toy in there also the rope means I don't need to carry a ball flinger. My dog loves this toy at the beach as we can throw it so far into the ocean using the rope. He also has the best time playing tug with it although the rope has started to fray after one use (assuming it's not designed for tug so still a five star product in my opinion) He actually played with it when one of his friends at the beach brought it and he's been obsessed ever since so we had to get him his own! Really quick delivery and looks great, a lot smaller than I imagined I bought a medium/large and it was just a bit bigger than my hand but it was too small to play with my dog with it she kept accidentally biting my fingers! She loved carrying it round and was her favourite toy for little bit, however she promptly chewed it to pieces within 4hours which I was very disappointed with as it was more expensive than other toys and needed something she wouldnt destroy. I was a little weary ordering this bc some of the reviews said their dog chewed though it easy, but unless their dogs are like part shark and robot—-bc my dog is a big time on purpose destroyer of all toys and big time chewer, she destroyed all her stuff within 24 hours. Next day I went and bought this and she cant even put a dent in it, this toy is pretty tough! Im very pleased with its durability! I bought this toy a few years ago in store at Petco for my 50lb hound/pit mix, she's 5 now, and this has been her favorite toy by a long shot. I actually came on here to look at buying her a second one because she loses it on occasion, usually under furniture or down along the side of my bed, but once I find it for her, she's absolutely ecstatic and will run around in circles barking with joy to have it back. I don't even have to put anything in it, she just loves it as is, though I will on occasion put the kong sweet potato stuff'n in it if she's bored enough. It's also worth noting that she tends to chew straight through almost any toys I get her, but has only ever destroyed one kong toy and it was only because my 75lb husky has broken it first, so whenever I'm looking for new toys for her I go straight to the kong section.Kimiix

I bought this for my dog for Christmas and it's the best toy he's ever had. He goes through toys like crazy, they always break and rip and are a danger to him because of small pieces. This toy is super strong and safe for him. I have a pure breed German Shepard fully grown. I take it with us everywhere we go. He never leaves without it. To say my dog is an "extreme chewer" is a understatement. Fortunately for us he has been focused on his toys/chew toys. He has SUPER STRONG jaws for a lab. I can literally spin him in circles in the air with his jaws locked on a toy. I havent been able to find a toy he doesnt destroy in 5min-1day. He goes through a 8 point buck antler in a month. You needed a bigger size. Generally, I would recommend sizing up once or twice anyway. The smaller ones are too small and not as thick of material therefore easier for any size dog to tear up. Additionally, if the toy isn’t full of snacks, take it away. Don’t let them chew on the toy itself just as a chew toy. That is another reason why the toy may get damaged. If the dog is focused on getting the snack out, they’ll be much less focused on destructive behaviors and tearing things apart. If you have a puppy, remember they teethe and it HURTS. They self sooth by chewing. Give them things it’s okay to chew on/destroy like Nyla bones (which seriously last forever even in strong determined breeds). Last thing to mention, is that if you really want to go with indestructible, prefer something that’ll keep them busy for a lot longer periods of time, then get the weighted feeder kong balls. I put some dog food into ours along with some soft small very strong smelling treats and my dogs work on this for HOURS. It’s how they get their meals or at least part of their meal each day. You can fed the whole meal this way if you want. They come in different sizes but the biggest size has worked perfectly for all of my dogs (weights range from 35 to 150lbs). They knock it over and the snack or treat falls out of a little hole. Then they keep working on it little by little, it’s really a great option for keeping them distracted! Just be sure to take it away when they’re not using it anymore so they don’t learn to guard it. This is true with any toy, treat, bone, or food. Offer a few times a day then take away when they’re no longer interested. Free feeding is one of the worst habits to start and makes it difficult for owners to tell quickly when something is off with their pet. I learned this the hard way! (Google this if you don’t believe me) I would still consider these Kong balls to be indestructible IF you use them properly. I have huge, strong dogs, a sharp toothed and very busy heeler and both have had theirs for 4 years without incident and not even a puncture mark into either one. I filled with “mini” milk bones and broken in half “small” milk bones but just read another reviewer said they freeze theirs with pnut butter and treats inside. Sounds messy but sounds like a great idea! Cant wait to try! Hope this helps!Momzymo

Amazing! Amazing at entertainment for my dog. Love how we can stick big treats in there and keep him busy whenever we have to leave the house. I think it's a must for training your dog. Be sure to replace it whenever there is damage. As I know a friend's dog had a piece of Kong stuck in his intestine and had to get surgery to remove it. So best to keep the toy until you notice any wear or tear. I like how it has multiple sizes and has really good durability.. this is a really good investment for your dog! We have found many creative ways to entertain our husky/German shep/malamute mutt who has high energy and high affinity to treats. 10/10 would recommend. There's also some Kong specific treats you can find meant to fit into the toy to make it very difficult for the dog to remove it. We like that there is a lot of creative ways to use it. We had two on rotation for when our puppy was teething and needed a lot of attention. Frozen treats allowed for the pup to work on the kong. We use it at home mainly but we do bring it over to our friends house when our dog is staying the night because we are out of town. It's just another tool they can use if they find he needs to calm down and focus instead of rambunctious and playing.terri.n

This is the old classic rubber Kong dog toy. I have the regular size and the small size for my boxer and for my Boston terrier. Its shape causes it to bounce in random directions. My dog absolutely loves this toy. I've put everything in that thing. I have broken up some single ingredient treats and stuffed them in Kong. We refer to my dogs as having ADHD, or a very SHORT attention span, but not with this toy they absolutely love it!! . I put treats as well as peanut butter bananas or yogurt then put them in the freezer. The freezing slows down their ability to clean out the inside quickly so the game lasts a little longer. The rubber is hard enough so they cannot chew through it yet soft on their teeth and gums. The hole is large enough to easily fill the inside as well as wash out the inside after use. Definitely buy multiples so that there are some in the freezer ready to go on those hot days or on those days that you just need a little time to get something done while your dog is occupied. All in all I completely recommend these toys for all dogs of any shape and size.Ysabel
