Large is a little snug with the harness and jacket is short on our small 40lb Boxer, nice material but nothing to hold it down in the back. Good product, did my research before getting size, so just surprised it ran as small as it does.mracer358

I was so excited to receive the harness – it seemed like a huge upgrade from the old one I bought from Tractor Supply that my dog was using. Well. It took twice as long as expected to arrive which is ridiculous when I paid for shipping. The shipping fees were refunded, but I had purchased the item with the intent to use it by a specific date which didn’t happen since it didn’t arrive until MUCH later. When it finally did show up the package was ripped almost completely open and the packaging of the product was all messed up which is also ridiculous. Alright it’s here, looks like **** but it’s here. It’s a much brighter blue than I expected which I like. It took a little while to figure out how to adjust as the ends were so firmly tucked into the harness I thought I was going to break it. Finally got it on and adjusted and “Meh”. It’s not deep enough (front to back) in my opinion, and my dog is not an odd or unusual shape. I do like that it covers less surface area, she appears to stay cooler (but a double coated black dog in the humid Midwest is always hot). It does sag when wet (which is almost always as she swims regularly) BUT it dries and goes back to the original fit which is a pro I guess. I say I guess because I didn’t expect a harness I paid over $80 to sag at all when wet but ‍♀ It doesn’t show any wear yet which it shouldn’t for only having it 2 weeks. It does shift like crazy. Not as bad as the cheap tractor supply one, but again I expected ZERO shifting from the $80+ harness. Honestly I probably won’t buy again. I was super excited to find a harness with everything I wanted: reflectors (which the ones on this harness ****, seriously for $80 y’all couldn’t put reflective piping on all edges?!), a handle on the back, bright blue, goes over the head/ NOT a step through and had a back leash clip. But honestly I’m pretty disappointed. There is a lot of room for improvement in what I consider an expensive harness (more reflective piping, padding under the middle set of buckles, better fit, better choice of shipping carriers). I’m not going to get rid of it and it does fit better than the Tractor Supply but I don’t absolutely love it like I hoped.Seva P.

My girl discovered early on that she can back out of her harness in a heartbeat. She can't back out of the Flagline harness (yay!) and – more importantly – if needed, I can pull on the leash / harness without fear of hurting her. (There have been a couple times when we've encountered dogs who are too friendly — having the Flagline harness on my girl made it much easier to pull her back to a safe distance without fear of hurting her or having the harness pop off at a bad time.) The harness is easy to put on / take off. It's strong. The reflective trim helps make her more visible. The adjustable straps make it easy to size up during the winter time when she's got winter coat(s) to accommodate. Having clips for closure is so much nicer than harnesses with velcro closures. (Velcro closure doesn't last long – and trying to wash anything with velcro – oy veh!) The price was a little more than I thought I'd spend for a harness – but having a harness I can trust and that will last is worth every penny. 100% recommend!Karen G.

The harness is super adjustable and fits my pups barrel chest so well! We wanted the waist clip as the single rib clip always slipped off or got loose and it wasn’t enough security for us. We also really love the handles! The front loop works super well to mitigate some pulling (pups only 8 months old) and my favorite feature is the inner material that rests on his body, it’s not mesh or fabric that his short coat sticks into so his hair isn’t being rubbed off or sticking in the harness getting stuck in cracks and making it itchy or difficult to clean. This harness is also super easy to wash and I really love the hardy materials on this harness. Wish it came in orange but the grey works just as well on our pup! This harness just fits Róka so well and I’m so pleased with it!!!! It fits and contours to his whole body and moves with him when he’s moving around! This Voyager dog harness is great for my pup! I am training him to walk on a leash and this is so helpful so that I don’t pull on his neck. I got the size XXS for him as he was 4 lbs. He is now almost 8 lbs and it still fits him but I am going to buy another one in a bigger size so I can keep it until he is fully grown. They are adjustable so I will probably get size Small. I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one. The ease of the new one does not compare but the duribilty was just not there for us on this particular harness. If you dont have a chewer it is highly recommendedMooncat84

My Dodo and I love this harness! He seems to be comfortable all day long no matter what we do? Only downside is we live in Las Vegas so on the very hot days I prefer him in a more breathable type of harness. Other than that I definitely recommend this harness. I gave this leash 2 stars because the concept/design is excellent, and for the first 2 miles of our first time using this leash my 88lb Lab was so much easier to walk. He did not pull as frequently, and when he would begin to pull it took very little effort to correct him. I think he enjoyed not having any pressure around his neck, as when we walk with a training collar. We've most frequently been using the "Friendly Leader" head harness, which gives me some measure of control, but he dislikes it. After using it a couple of times he worked out a lightening quick maneuver to unlatch it, an ongoing entertainment now during walks! Needless to say I LOVED using this leash, and my dog was happy too. We purchased the reflective orange size LG. The leash was easy to fit, is soft, and the reflective option is super for walking at night. I was very disappointed when about a half mile from home the loop detached where it had been spliced into the leash, becoming a little stump of rope dangling from the leash. In an instant I went from having perfect control and security of my dog to having a loose dangling length of leash wrapped around his back legs! I managed to tie a few knots as I looped the long length of leash around my dog. Fortunately he was a good sport about it, and blessedly we ran into no "distractions" during the last half mile of our walk, during which he quickly reverted to bulldozer mode being fast to realize nothing was tightening around his chest. I will be sending the leash back tomorrow for a replacement. Because no other reviewer mentioned their leash came apart, I will try one more time, with the hope that the quality of this product is generally much better than the leash we received which fell apart during our very first use. I've got my fingers crossed the replacement lasts, because this concept works.NYTess

My dog seems to like this leash. In the heat/humidity of the low country, this is much better than his having to wear a harness. On the other hand, he is not too happy that he doesn't have the free rein he had with his old leash that gave him 16 feet of running space so he could easily sniff and water everything he believed had been previously marked by other neighborhood dogs. It does take a couple of minutes to figure out how to wrap it all around him, but he seems fine with that, and I am getting much better and quicker at getting him safely ensconced so he can go and check to make sure the neighborhood is safe for democracy. This leash does fray easily, and I have to burn off the fraying every couple of days – not a problem, hold it over a flame on the stove and the fraying disappeared almost instantly. My dog weighs 17 pounds, and it fits him nicely – it supposedly will fit on a dog up to 40 pounds, but if so, I don't know if it would give the dog enough room to roam. The instructions also say the rubber disk will rise and fall. That has not been my experience, maybe because my little guy is on the smaller side (he is a bichon). Altogether, I am happy with the purchase, and my dog is not bound up in a tourniquet (as he views a halter).ACinSC

I bought this for my 3 year old pit/lab mix who has more muscle than he knows what do with. He’s a huge puller and stubborn, he only listens when he wants to. When taking him out and other people/dogs pass by, he would go crazy, sometimes making it very hard for me to even hold on to him. One night I got home from work and he was so happy to see me, he slipped out of his collar while my boyfriend was taking him out to potty. Knowing he is a runner, this terrified me; he would be gone. So I ordered this at the suggestion of my grandmother and he is a changed dog. He no longer pulls me at all. He can’t get out of this lead. I don’t have to take his collar off to put this on (he loves his collar and gets upset when it’s taken off ). My only complaint, which is why I’m giving 4 stars, is the adjustment grips around the neck tend to move often causing me to have to readjust often which is inconvenient when your dog is excited about going out.Mkp217

The harness is a little heavy on the top but it definitely is worth every penny I paid for it. This product is one of the best products I bought on eBay.I have had some bad experiences on eBay where I still have things in the packages and I couldn't return them because the third-party seller was giving me a really hard time. Easy on and off, makes handling a large dog a breeze. My German Shepherd loves it, goes right in when ready to go out. Like the reflective strip for safety reasons as well. It also avoids the leash getting tangled with his feet unlike with regular collars. I would recommend it to anyone with a large breed but I'm sure it would be beneficial for small breeds as well.6502gabrielep

I ordered this harness before the adoption of our pup was complete. It is easy to get on and off, and the reflectivity is great! We're definitely the brightest walkers in the neighborhood. I've used it with both a standard leash, and the K9 Series Runner's Waistbelt with Leash, and both work well. The handle on the top of the harness is super useful when I need to keep the dog close.Karrin

I bought this 5 months ago and the stitching that holds the leash ring has ripped out. Disappointed because until that point it was working well and my dog seemed comfortable with it on. This was only used 2-3 days a week on runs with a different collar/harness for other daily walks. I do have a large 60 pound dog that does like to pull on lease but would have expected the plastic ring to show signs of wear before the stitching gave way.MikeR

Product largest size does not fit XL mastiff breed as stated. It would not even fit over his head. I like that it’s reflective. The edging could use a soft piece so that it doesn’t chafe a dog, I gave it to a friend and put soft material on it.Jacquelyn

I ordered size medium for the Teddy Grey Reflective dog harness. The style of this harness has the neck and stomach band made from one piece, so if you are shortening one, you're shortening the whole thing. It was really hard to size it right the first time we put it on. I had to loosen it to the biggest size it could be too fit my almost year old lab heeler mix. He fits well in mediums of other brands with extra room to grow. I would recommend a size up in this one. The reflective quality of the material is pretty dull. The harness material is strong and has withstood his chewing. The buckle is silver metal.Kaity

I thought the one-strap design was clever. And it seemed a nice lightweight harness for summer. Sadly the design was difficult and confusing to adjust. When I finally got it adjusted properly and we started walking, it didn't stay snug and kept slipping sideways off her shoulders. At least it has both a top and front connectors. I'll keep messing with it to see if I can get it to work better, but I think the traditional style harnesses will be better for us.Vika and Bella

It fits our dog but hes a Houdini and slips out of the harness. I think its because his fur is so smooth and silky that it doesnt keep him from backing out of the harness. Its not the harnesses fault in any wayoakleyray

I bought this for our labrador retriever when he was 10 months old. His original nylon Martingale harness was in tatters. He is walked 3 miles a day, seven days a week. There has not been a single day that he has not walked in this harness–including dock dog competitions. This dog would have made a great draft horse. We gave up getting him to loose-leash walk My experience is that this harness is well, well above average. I especially like the handle. I examine it every few weeks and it still looks good with little evidence of wear. The orange has faded a bit, but it is still as good as new. Best harness I have ever purchased. I like this harness because it holds it's adjustment. Others I've purchased come loose and I have to continually adjust. I haven't had that happen with this harness. It fits my dog well and is not difficult to use.Jeff

Good product. I had a few questions about adjusting the harness (back) ,emailed the company, and they got back to me almost immediately. They answered my questions, and sent pictures, and a video, which was really appreciated, as I was using the velcro part incorrectly.
