The style of this harness fits my unusual shaped dog (Welsh Corgi/Jack Russell mix). It was not lined in key areas liked it advertised, and the material was sticking out in points on the side next to the dog, which concerned me that it would rub him. I had already returned the medium size (too big), so I kept the smaller size and tapped where it was sticking out. It fits my dog well and if the company that makes the harness would improve their quality control, I think it is a good harness. GWL: this is advertised as padded in the chest and the matching dog leash handle. Adjustable straps can't be padded. If metal was sticking out it sounds like a defect and should have been immediately returned.
