Seriously this is THE BEST! I have a white cat and a lot of dark clothing and am fighting cat hair daily. This isnt awesome in clothes, but, your couch, chairs, bed, etc it is the bomb! Seriously, I had my doubts about it but after seeing real user reviews and videos of it, I simply had to try it. And it works!! My hubby has this couch of his that my cat looooves to sit on. His fur covers it like a blanket and refuses to come off, no matter what I used. A few minutes of swiping the roller and I got 80% of his fur off, compared to using masking tape and sticky rollers, which takes me ages and I still wouldn't be able to get that much fur off. I was super excited to try this, as we have SEVEN animals in our home. That excitement quickly faded while unboxing this. It's poorly made. The battery compartment was hard to take out and put back in, after installing the batteries. The piece on the handle that should slide out to hang it, didn't want to come out and broke off when I used tweezers to pull it out. I followed the instructions exactly as written with a quick back and forth motion and all it did was pick up a few dust particles. Not a single strand of fur was lifted off any of the five different surfaces I tried it on. When I pushed the button to release the compartment to empty the contents, it didn't want to close back properly. The light is okay but not a huge loss if It doesn't work or the batteries die. It only makes a difference if you need to use it in a dark room, but it's not even that bright. I found zero benefits to using this. It was a total waste of time.AMOmomOF3
With a lot of fur-babies, I was really excited to get this. It's very cheap plastic. Like other reviewers, I couldn't understand the necessity of the batteries or the light and I still don't. I thought perhaps the roller rolls but it doesn't or at least mine doesn't. I had to scrape off the fur from the lint brush or it fell on the floor. It certainly didn't go inside the collector area as it shows on the instructions. One portion of the brush kept falling out of the roller and this was on the first attempt at using it on a simple side chair. In addition to that, I found my thumb kept naturally going to where the on/off button in a grip and it would turn it off. This is something you should be able to purchase at a dollar store. As my title says it does technically work, but it's not a wow and I didn't find it saved me any time over a regular roller brush or even a bathroom squeegee which I have used in the past for this type of thing. I have 3 indoor cats so I use a lint roller every day, usually two sheets. I wanted to try the Evercare lint roller because it picks up more lint and cat hair and it really does. Man these suck. I bought a few because my cat was shedding his winter coat. I used them on him and our clothes. It did nothing. Barely picked up any fur or fuzzies.
