I've actually used it on me for poison oak because that's all I had in the medicine cabinet. It is very soothing and helps dry up yucky skin – or poison oak blisters. So I have a little 6 lb Pomeranian that has mild separation anxiety. I gave her half of a pill everyday before I left for work. They weren't exactly miracle pills, but they did help calm her down a little bit, hence the two star rating. However, after about two weeks, I noticed that her fur began to fall out. I checked the pills and their reviews but found nothing about fur loss being a side effect, so I just assumed it was something else. After another week she had no undercoat and I was about to take her to the vet but decided to try not giving her the pills first. She stopped losing fur and now, 3 months later, her coat has come back. Ever since I adopted my little Angel a few months ago, I've wanted to get rid of her overly flaky coat and large amount of shedding. My vet first prescribed the standard fatty acid capsules. They were too large to administer by themselves and with pill pockets. My two little dogs (a chihuahua and a chihuahua/daschund mix) really loved these treats! They were the perfect size for them as little dogs, plus they were all natural, so I felt good about giving my dogs these chews. My standard poodle suffers from outdoor allergies. After battling them all summer the vet just said to double up on benadryl. I felt like I was drugging my dog. Wow is right, because I am floored at how well this works! I have 2 pups with horrible allergies – one that nothing else works for. I've tried all different meds, including shots, and she still suffered horribly during allergy season. Apoquel has done wonders for my German Shepherd who recently developed seasonal allergies at six years old. He was scratching and biting at himself 24/7 and he caused an infection on his foot from the constant licking. He was so miserable until our vet put him on apoquel along w an antibiotic for his infection. The apoquel worked very quickly with relief felt later the same day he started. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. My BT recently passed away and my Chihuahua has been grieving as she is lonely. Got her a snuggle buddy and these warming packs to go in it. She loves it and snuggles up to it when she is in her crate, which is usually for about 3-4 hours max. I reuse the packs several times. If you put the one you are using in a baggie and push all the air out, you can use it several times if not for extended times.

My cat was a rescue and will eat nonstop if allowed. When we feed her, she eats aggressively and then throws up about 10-20 minutes later.
