I love this collar and company! The collar itself is very durable and handles lots of play from my 70lb pit mix (she wears a Large but I adjust it down so it fits more snug). The different light modes are really nice, and we use it every day (especially handy in the winter when both morning and evening walks are in the dark!). Super easy to turn on & off, and to charge with the USB cord. It is NOT waterproof, but will tolerate rain and other water as long as it isn't submerged. I bought 3 of these about 6 weeks ago. They are very strong and durable, especially for dogs that play rough and line to grab each other’s collars. The best aspect is the ability to recharge them. They are nice and bright. The only con is that they only light up on the edges so for dogs with a longer coat, it gets hidden and doesn’t show up as well. It would be better if the whole width of the collar lit up. Would definitely buy again.Ella15
I've been buying these collars for a long time. I love that these are rechargeable – much easier than the the battery operated ones that I originally purchased. They are also very bright! The only thing that would make them MORE perfect is if there was a way they could give you an alert of some kind to let you know the charge is getting low. Since I don't use it for set periods, it's hard to know when it's getting low – and then suddenly it's just out. They're are great, that addition would just make them even greater. I own two of these collars, both orange and they are awesome. With the press of a button you can have a solid glow or blinking. Batteries are cheap to get online or at the dollar store (3/$1). Some of the collars have a 'silver' reflective stripe going around the collar. Don't rely on that to do anything as it wears off in the first 48 hours. I'd also suggest that you have your dogs along with you as these collars do not allow for more than one inch adjustment due to the glow band embedded inside the nylon collar. Great product! Typically I walk my mongrel late in the evenings. This product is very useful in mitigating the possibilities of being hit by a car. I do wish it was a tad brighter, but what ya gonna do? Not certain how the collar will hold up overtime nor can I testify on its craftsmanship. The lighting serves multiple purposes such as letting the dogs out in the backyard we can turn the light on and we won’t lose track of them because we can see their collars, or when we are walking them at night we can turn it in so incoming cars can also see the light. Worst decision of my life. It's trash. The collar isn't secure, comes undone with a slight tug. The light is a faded yellow on one end gradually getting white to the next end. It was disappointing to myself and embarrassing for my dog. Will gladly submit photos once I get home. I hate that 0 stars isn't an option.
The quality of stitching doesn t seem very strong but I use a harness for my dog anyway. If you want a light for your dog this is it! There are multiple light functions from solid to different blinking strobes. It s rechargeable which is great but the battery can slip out of either side which make me question it s durability during Virginia s rain.
It lights up great, my lab mix popped it open when pulling on the leash. So I use his regular collar and put the light up collar over it. I wanted this collar so you could see him in the dark and it works well for that, not meant for strength. My big guy is a 90lb, very energetic 1 year old. May work fine for an older dog, beyond the crazy stage.

The light comes with a small paper tab that must be removed for the battery to engage. So far so good. The package contains NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to access the paper tab or the battery. I found the Nite Ize web site and see now that it is supposed to unscrew but that "extra force is required." I bought a twin pack that has a steady white light and it’s just like a dog headlight! However, the second light would not stay on for more than 3 minutes. The flashing light has several colors and flashing or steady on options. If you go on a 30 or 40 minute walk, you’ll stay in the dark. I hope they can fix this design problem.Hunter

The cable guy came to fix my cable and I asked him if he could make the collar work and he took the cover off and pulled the paper covering the battery out and voila! It works. There was no instructions and I tried everything I knew. Not happy about that. I sent 2 emails to the company and never heard back. Not happy about that more. But alas! It s a basic collar material with 3 led settings. I am happy with it and am hopeful the led/battery stay in working conditions for a good amount of time. The collar definitely helps keep us safe at night while walking. We have street lights in our neighborhood just not bright enough In all areas.
