This product didn't work for my dog at all. It just changed the colour of her diarrhea. I think one of the problems is that the directions say to give to your dog every four hours. However, it's cherry flavoured, which my dog didn't find appetizing. The only way I could give it to her was by mixing it up in her food, but I can't be feeding her every four hours otherwise she'd be overweight.Jerome

Our dog had to take some medicine after his teeth cleaning and it caused him to have diarrhea. We tried what the vet gave him but did not seem to do any good. When i lost my beloved Tig, i then adopted 3 boy cats. For 3 weeks it was absolutely nuts in my house, and i felt i was babysitting the litter boxes because all 3 boys had the runs. In desperation one night, i found the petwellbeing website, and i searched for products for their aliments. Read many reviews. Decided to purchase 4 products. The Tone Up Gold, the GI track cleanup, and the Respiratory products. Between the runs, the sneezing, and de-worming (the baby had ring worms), all 3 boys got these products. The sneezings went away. If one of the boys gets to hacking, months later, i just give them a squirt or two (depending on their weight) of the Respiratory liquid, mixed w/ water, from an eye dropper and the hacking goes away. She's a beautiful, petite little 2 year old that is so incredibly loving. We bonded right away. But the chronic diarrhea was really hard to put up with. She would have trouble making it to the littter box in time and track it all over the house, etc. Her stool consistency was pure liquid, and I know she wasn't happy either. I tried other homeopathic drops, prescription food, grain free and minimal ingredient diets. The only thing I learned was that she might have a food allergy to beef products so I removed beef from her diet and it helped a little or so I thought. But the problem persisted. I've had her for 3-1/2 months now and she has been on the BM Toneup drops for three weeks. Her stools are somewhat soft, but are starting to form. This herbal formulation really delivers! I have used it in extreme cases. Helping a cat rescue, I had a mama kitty with unresolved tapeworm where we needed medication to resolve the tapeworm (waiting for it) but in the meantime I wanted to help mama firm up her stool. Really helped. Obviously we needed to address tapeworm and we did but this was very helpful. My other example is when introducing new kitties, sometimes resident kitties bowels can become upset. Did my research and this seemed to be best way to go. Off I went, and after 2 days, she is fine. She wasnt having often but it was definitely diarrhea and when it was time she was off and running all over the yard. and it seemed she kept thinking she had to go but it was done. Anyway, she was playing, eating and drinking fine, just diarrhea that was bothersome for her. Will keep this on hand at all times as she tends to have tummy issues about once a month. Well and Good Anti-Diarrhea Liquid did work. Both of my dogs had diarrhea so I started them on boiled chicken, rice and pumpkin with 1/3 cup a water the first three days. After three days their poop was firmer but still soft so I purchased this at Petco. They would not take this straight they did not like it so I mixed one teaspoon per dog bowl added two tablespoons of pumpkin then 1/3 cup of warm water stirred it up and they both licked the bowls clean. The first dose was given to them at 4 PM and their poop was a lot firmer by 11 Pm that evening. The next morning at 6 am I gave them the second dose and by 12 noon everything was back to normal in the one dog. I will give the third dose tonight at 6 P. I will say for me it really worked! Mixing with water and pumpkin allows the dogs to get more water in their system. After three days they still will not drink out of the water bowls but they get plenty of water with ice at night and during the day 1/3 cup water with the 2 tbs of pumpkin three times.Kannacker

HIGHLY recommend! These past few days have been a nightmare with my 12-year old Maltese having severe diarrhea. It's never been this bad before. It started randomly 2 days ago. That morning she had normal poops but randomly in the afternoon she started having diarrhea. I didn't think much of it until she started pooping liquid and mucus (small amounts but painful nonetheless) every 1-2 hours. We went from painful diarrhea every 1-2 hours to being accident-free almost immediately? How is that possible? I honestly had my doubts even after reading all the great reviews, but I'm so glad I was proven wrong. I'm definitely going to keep it around in case of emergencies in the future. I've only given her 1 dose so far but she's already acting like her usual self. I first tried putting the medicine into her chicken/rice mix but she wouldn't touch it. I tried putting it in her water but she only drank a little bit. I was desperate to get her to take the medicine any way possible. I gave her some of the grilled chicken I was eating and drizzled the liquid over it. She ate it all up so fast and I'm so relieved. She would have accidents, I swear, every hour or so and it was exhausting throughout the night. Having to hear her pained yelps as she tried to relieve herself every time was heartbreaking. The last 2 nights have been filled with zero to no sleep since I was constantly up cleaning her mess and trying to sooth her while she was in pain. I had been using a couple similar products (same ingredients) with my dog since he started having gastrointestinal issues a few months ago. He's been to the vet and placed on several medications, probiotics, stool-hardening "pastes", etc., all with limited to no success. I've been having to home cook his meals since this all started, and have only been able to mix in small amounts of GI commercial/prescription food before the GI issues return. For a month, I had been giving him Kaolin/Pectin with 1 of 3 meals a day, and this seemed to help his stools stay firm. Except for the days I didn't add it to a meal, there was no diarrhea. Anyway, the other products were both out-of-stock, so I figured I would try this. The ingredients were the same, so I was hoping for the same effect. Unfortunately, there were ZERO reviews posted, so I had limited information to go by. My dog has had diarrhea every single day since he started receiving this, even after adding it to all 3 meals a day! I stopped adding in commercial food thinking it would help. It did not. I've noticed this formula isn't quite as thick as the other formulas, so maybe the ratio of ingredients is slightly different? Regardless, I would not purchase this again, nor would I recommend it. And now this product is "out-of-stock", so I wouldn't be surprised if others complained or had issues at well. I wish the product that worked better (and is cheaper) were available again.amt82

Hello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. After feeding my cat the 1/2 a pill he threw up about an hour later. I tried once more 8 hours later thinking maybe he just had a hair ball or something and he threw up again. I realize spending $50 on a product that may not work is a risk, and one that I was willing to take. My dog ate this willingly only twice. I've even dipped it meat juice & he will not eat it. If I crush it in his food he rejects the whole bowl. He is not picky at all. so these must taste pretty bad. They are very dry. no idea if they work or not, can't see results if he won't eat them. I can assume the ingredients are medicinal. I can't speak to quality, put if your pet won't eat it- there's the answer the quality doesn't matter. They would be easy to use if your pet likes them.iHerb Customer

I'm unsure of how well this product works mainly because I found my dog did not like taking it. I did not find it to dissolve well in his water and he did not want to drink his water with the packet mixed in it. Then I tried sprinkling it on his food which he ate but a large amount of the packet just settled on the bottom. I think you almost need to have moist food for it to stick. The little bit I got into him did not seem to make any difference but I know he didn't get their recommended amount and I did not get a lot days with him actually consuming it. I might try to administer it with moist food if he seems to have some digestive issues come up. For now, I didn't find the product to be either helpful or bad. The Tomlyn Pre & Probiotic supplement is a water soluble powder that mixes in with your dogs food or water. This product comes with 30 individually wrapped packets that contain a really, really fine white powder. I like that it is ground really fine because it makes it easier to mix. The only downside to that is that it can puff/smoke up if you are too heavy handed when pouring the product from the packaging. Each packet contains over 8 billion Colony Forming-Units (or CFU, for short) These organisms support good digestive health. I've been using this product for a week now and I love that I am putting good bacteria into my senior dogs gut. my vet and i found this product while looking up options to help my 15+ year senior cat who struggled with chronic constipation for years. x-rays showed he was borderline megacolon but not quite. a low fiber diet and osmotic laxatives like miralax helped, but didn't provide full relief and it was easy to over- or under-dose the miralax. prn cisapride also helped, but it was just a bandaid on the larger problem. he wasn't dehydrated and his diet includes canned food with extra water to support his old kidneys. more accurately, we first found a veterinary research article about SLAB-15, a probiotic blend that showed clinically significant reduction in cat constipation and diarrhea. the combination of probiotic bacterial species in the tomlyn pre- and probiotic comes the closest to SLAB-15 of anything we could find that was also easy to purchase regularly. i've been using this product for a few months and am over the moon with how well it alleviates my senior cat's GI symptoms. he's much more comfortable now that he's not bloated, no longer strains to defecate, and no longer needs laxatives or cisapride. the powder has no smell or flavor. it dissolves well in water and i mix it into his wet food, but the powder is fine enough to shake and coat his dry food without him noticing (or at least he doesn't care). yes, this is the dog version of the product, but formula-wise, the dog and cat versions are exactly the same. with the dog version, you get twice as much product for the same price. it also seems that the dog version is the only one ever on sale. just note that the dog sachets are 2g and the cat sachets are 1g, so a cat would get half the 2g dog packet per day. it works out to about 1/2 tsp per day, or 1/4 tsp 2x day.sfaust

On 22 July 2017 my guinea pig was given a massive Vibravet doxycycline overdose that damaged his digestive system. This product helps the ‘good’ bacteria in his tummy to flourish and supports gut motility. After the OD I fed 2 tablets/day. 1.5 years later I still feed one tablet per day (0.5 in the am, 0.5 at night). My guinea pig will most likely need this tablet for life. I was reluctant to get this when it sys fits all pill sizes and it comes in a 4 OZ container. It is an entirely new concept on hiding pills., Instead of a preformed pocket to put the pill in you create it. I opened the container and what I found was one big round ball much like play-dough. What a simple idea. My large dog takes 4 pills every morning and we may be able to mask the first few but after that it is a struggle with the old single pill pockets. With this I was able to take two at a time (I probably could do all 4 but if he spits it out it would be very messy) roll enough dough around it that he was more than happy to eat it. The dough is a little bit thicker than peanut butter so it is pliable and will hide the pills well.zukus

My Cavalier King Charles has been in and out of vet visits, testing, and urgent care nearly nonstop for about 3 weeks now. He won’t eat even his favorite foods and I have to get him to eat something due to the several meds, antibiotics, and blood draws. I ordered this for my picky eater hoping to find something healthy that she would eat since she was starting to refuse the boiled chicken and still wouldn’t eat canned or dry dog food . This arrived today and was so simple to prepare and my extremely picky eater acted like a hungry hippo . My 10 year old cat was literally dying because she could not eat and was getting too weak to drink. She was getting palliative, hospice type care but I didn't want her to starve to death. I take care of feral cats and I Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) them in order to decrease the cat population in my neighborhood. When spaying a female cat, you have to keep them for at least 4 days for them to appropriately heal and have the affects of the anesthesia to wear off completely. One of the ferals that I trapped was a skin-and-bones female that was really too young to be having the kitten she was towing around with her. So I trapped her and her only surviving female kitten, had them both fixed and proceeded to "Fatten them up" and have them heal completely. "Under the Weather" Ready-Cal was the perfect supplement to give to both mamma and baby while they healed. I kept mamma in my care for one month because she was so pathetically thin. In that month, Mamma's coat changed from a rusty brown to a glossy black. She gained weight to where you could no longer feel her ribs poking through her fur. She did not like indoor life AT ALL and could not be socialized or handled, so she was released back to her outdoor home. I continue to feed Mamma every day, even built her an outdoor heated shelter in my fenced in yard. She is very content now. She now loves people, but cannot be picked up off the ground or lifted, but allows petting and head scratches. As for her kitten, she socialized very well, is awesome at vet visits and handling, and doubled in size very quickly because of the added Ready-Cal supplement and gained weight at a rate of 1lb/month. NOW PETS CARDIOVASCULAR SUPPORT GREAT PRODUCT! My cat, who is 10 years old this July, had a heart murmur a year ago which was rated about a 5. Vet said I should take my cat to have an echocardiogram to see how the heart is & what was causing the murmur. I took it from my cats. One especially has an issue with the eyes. The orange tabby has a wet eye when he eats. He is very picky so I try to hide the powder in his wet food. Let me say that this helped him a lot especially when given every day. I know that L lysine is very good for viruses. like Herpes virus and EBV. My orange tabby has herpes virus and was pretty sick when he was young. I do not know about the taste but if you have a picky cat like me better hide it in his favourite wet food. It’s very sad to share that we lost our dear Cat due to kidney stone / kidney failure just a few days ago. After receiving this product I quickly added into my cat’s diet after he came back home from hospitalisation. However he slowly lost his appetite until we could not give him any water, food and medication. Just want to share how important it is to give your love pets enough fresh water and not depend on those conventional dry food and wet cans. I had my cat when he was only 3-4 months old 11 years ago. I did not know we could give him fresh real food as there were no such awareness of eating raw and eating real food for pets like what we have today.
