My Cavalier King Charles has been in and out of vet visits, testing, and urgent care nearly nonstop for about 3 weeks now. He won’t eat even his favorite foods and I have to get him to eat something due to the several meds, antibiotics, and blood draws. Out of desperation I grabbed a pack of the dehydrated Chicken and Rice, to give yet another thing a try. Well, he LOVES it!! He eats the entire serving, and he waits for it anxiously. He even knows exactly when 15 minutes has gone by, and that it’s time for me to remove the cover from his bowl and stir! He will bark and stare at his bowl literally seconds before my timer goes off! I stir it 2-3 times then let it sit for another couple of minutes to cool down before serving it to him. I went back and bought another pack, and am now so grateful that I am on here to post a review. This product has been our saving grace!!!Christina

I ordered this for my picky eater hoping to find something healthy that she would eat since she was starting to refuse the boiled chicken and still wouldn’t eat canned or dry dog food . This arrived today and was so simple to prepare and my extremely picky eater acted like a hungry hippo . She ate almost the entire serving then went to my other dogs plate and started eating his canned dog food. I couldn’t tell you the last time she ate that . I only ordered one bag because I wasn’t sure if she would like it, but I must say I will be ordering more and will likely try some of the other flavors . What can I say. These saved the lives of two of my dogs (related) who both suffered from leaky gut (dysbiosis) which had not been recognised by the vets! So far so good, my dog is having it mixed in with some soft food to disguise it, may try tablets or supplements next time that are whole rather than powder for easier use and dosage. This is very bitter and my dog refused to eat it. We solved this by putting it in Pill Pockets and now she has no issues with the taste! Since it's a fine powder, we use a tiny funnel to fill the pill pocket and divide the dose into 2 pockets. Works like a charm. We make up a weeks' worth and store them in a Tupperware container. Did my research and this seemed to be best way to go. Off I went, and after 2 days, she is fine. She wasnt having often but it was definitely diarrhea and when it was time she was off and running all over the yard. and it seemed she kept thinking she had to go but it was done. Well and Good Anti-Diarrhea Liquid did work. Both of my dogs had diarrhea so I started them on boiled chicken, rice and pumpkin with 1/3 cup a water the first three days. After three days their poop was firmer but still soft so I purchased this at Petco. They would not take this straight they did not like it so I mixed one teaspoon per dog bowl added two tablespoons of pumpkin then 1/3 cup of warm water stirred it up and they both licked the bowls clean. The first dose was given to them at 4 PM and their poop was a lot firmer by 11 Pm that evening. The next morning at 6 am I gave them the second dose and by 12 noon everything was back to normal in the one dog. I will give the third dose tonight at 6 P. I will say for me it really worked! Mixing with water and pumpkin allows the dogs to get more water in their system. After three days they still will not drink out of the water bowls but they get plenty of water with ice at night and during the day 1/3 cup water with the 2 tbs of pumpkin three times.Kannacker

HIGHLY recommend! These past few days have been a nightmare with my 12-year old Maltese having severe diarrhea. It's never been this bad before. It started randomly 2 days ago. That morning she had normal poops but randomly in the afternoon she started having diarrhea. I didn't think much of it until she started pooping liquid and mucus (small amounts but painful nonetheless) every 1-2 hours. We went from painful diarrhea every 1-2 hours to being accident-free almost immediately? How is that possible? Good product for digestion, it's specially important for dgos that don't eat a natural diet. The enzymes can really help. One of my favourite produces . I have it for nursing queens, sometimes before and just after delivery this is all they would take. I mix it with formula for kittens. My big guy isn't exactly what you might call graceful. He's a dork. A giant clumsy dork. So little aches and pains are just a part of our life together. I'm taking ibuprofen because he's nearly pulled my shoulder out of socket after trying to run and hide from the wind and he's taking his doggy aspirin because he tripped over his own feet while running and now yelps every step he takes. These really do help. They're easy to give wrapped in a little bread or dipped in peanut butter. I combined this with Charlotte’s Web Hip and Joint hemp for my dog with osteoarthritis. She could barely walk for three days. After two hours of taking this she is running and playing around even in the cold weather. I took my aging terrier off prescription bladder control and switched to this product a little over a week ago. I did not do this gradually. So far, so good. My dog has not had any accidents in the house and seems to have as strong a bladder as with the prescription med. Label said good quality and taste they might be but to tell the truth, I will probably never know cause my dogs spit them out. I've tried to sneak pills in hot dogs, works sometimes most times if they find them dogs turn their noses up and walk away. Hate to give a poor review but why didnt they just put a little bit of flavor in these? I mean it says there chewables, That to me says Dogs will chew the things and like to take their medicine. I read where someone said it did not work, i'm here to tell you that it worked for my Pyredoodle. You have to follow the instructions. I gave her 2 a day for 2 weeks and she quit having accidents. My little Papillon, Dixie (1.9 yrs old) has had the typical small dog issues with her stools since she was a pup (who ever decided to breed a small breed dog with long butt hair wasn't really thinking "practical"! I like to compare it to a woman trying to go to the bathroom in a wedding dress!) and about 1 year ago she had a BAD bout of Pancreatitis that landed her in the Emergency Hospital for 6 days (a pretty penny- about $2700.00! Thank goodness for Pet Insurance!). This product has been a life saver for both Dixie and me! Ofcourse no over-the-counter medication is an equal replacement for veterinary care if your dog is ill, but this is a great product for every pet owner to have on hand! It's great for the occasional upset stomach and when your dog gets into the cat food, trash, etc. It's also been great with the history of Pancreatitis, if Dixie gets an upset stomach after my regular vet's office hours, it works almost immediately and it helps prevent the dangerous symptoms associated with moderate to severe diarreaha such as dehydration (it doesn't take many loose bowel movements for an 8lb. dog to get dangerously dehydrated), vomiting blood and bloody diarreaha from an irritated G.I. tract, etc,. This has helped by me time to get through the night without having to take Dixie back to the outrageously expensive Emergency Hospital and calms her symptoms until our regular vet opens. It's worth shelling out the few bucks to have this on hand rather than the costs of an emergency visit! It's some sort of Doggie-Murphy's-Law that your pet only gets sick at 2am… I call it Doggie- Immodium, it really does work great and my vet said it's great to have on hand and perfectly safe to give your pet. It says on the label (or somewhere in the advertisement) that your pet will love the taste and the review from "Snoozer" before mine said their dog liked it, but unfortunately I have them beat with "picky-dog factor" Dixie HATES it! The good thing is that because its a nice thick paste as long as I get it somewhere on her muzzle (she puts up a fight like you wouldn't believe- but that stems from being treated poorly and force-fed as a puppy, it's not the products fault) she does lick it off and gets enough medicine in her system to be effective! So overall, I highly recommend every dog and cat owner to have this in your home, even if your animal doesn't have a history of GI issues! Most people have Immodium or pepto in their medicine cabinets, shouldn't you do the same for your pet? PS- the cats LOVE the taste! They even lick the paper towel I wipe my hand off on after giving it! Hello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. After feeding my cat the 1/2 a pill he threw up about an hour later. I tried once more 8 hours later thinking maybe he just had a hair ball or something and he threw up again. I took it from my cats. One especially has an issue with the eyes. The orange tabby has a wet eye when he eats. He is very picky so I try to hide the powder in his wet food. Let me say that this helped him a lot especially when given every day. I know that L lysine is very good for viruses. like Herpes virus and EBV. My orange tabby has herpes virus and was pretty sick when he was young. I do not know about the taste but if you have a picky cat like me better hide it in his favourite wet food. It’s very sad to share that we lost our dear Cat due to kidney stone / kidney failure just a few days ago. After receiving this product I quickly added into my cat’s diet after he came back home from hospitalisation. However he slowly lost his appetite until we could not give him any water, food and medication. We also serve the OLEWO dehydrated beets to our dogs and their little guests (I am a petsitter). I've never had a dog here pass on a bowl that had healthy vegetables included with their kibble. I was recommended Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora by my vet and have had great results. Since then I grab it at Petsmart when needed. My pitbull has a very sensitive stomach and often has issues. Since using FortiFlora, most of his issues have been resolved. He loves the flavor. I believe it's beef and it's so easy to give it to him. You just sprinkle the packet on his food once a day and that's all. I've tried treat probiotics in the past and he wasn't a fan of the taste of them. Also I had to make sure he chewed them completely for them to work. The powder just makes it so much easier. It is pricey but well worth it. First an introduction to Barnie the bichon… He’s 13 years young with one, heart failure and osteoarthritis. As you can imagine, this makes him not the most active pup in the park as he gets tired pretty quickly even though he loves his walks. Bert is old and has a few gas issues. Well a lot of gas issues really and sharing a room with him is sometimes not so much fun. The Purina Pro Plan Forti Flora sachets have made a huge difference to his gut issues and his enjoyment of eating. There is now much less tummy grumbling and much less gas. The sachets are so easy to mix with his normal wet food and Bert enjoys eating it. He seems to have got his appetite back since adding the sachets to his food, and is enjoying the taste, and I also think the good smell is helping too. I have been giving it once a week.
