All of the reviews that state this thing works are true. My teenagers were in charge of keeping the litterbox clean because we have two cats. They do an excellent job of keeping up with it in general. They did, however, become a touch sluggish over the break. The smell was so awful that I was practically retching by the time I smelled it from down the hall and told them to clean it. The damage had been done, even with the clean litter, and all I could smell was cat urine. So I came on here and read all the 5-star ratings and decided that even if it only functioned half as well as the reviews said, it would be a success. So when it arrived, I just opened the bottle and poured about a third of the liquid over our laminate floor and sprayed it on the walls surrounding the litterbox. I set it aside for an hour. However, even standing outside the room, we instantly saw a difference. I also brought the litterbox outside and sprayed it with this stuff, but I didn't let it sit, instead wiping it down with baby wipes. After an hour, I washed everything out, replaced the clean litterbox in the room, and went outside to clear my nose to see if I could smell cat urine. I couldn't smell it. My children couldn't either. I invited my MOTHER (who despises cats and is a stickler for cleanliness) over for the grand verdict, and asked her to smell not only the house, but the room as well. She was taken aback by the fact that she couldn't smell anything, and she actually stated it smelled GOOD! It does have a light herbal aroma to it that isn't bad. Have not yet had the smell resurface and it does seem to have prevented remarking on upholstery. I've used this a few times now. It has a pleasant smell and worked ok on getting stains out. I have 2 small dogs that think that our couch is their dog bed so it can get a little stinky. I used this on the couch and it worked pretty good on getting out the smell. My only complaint is it didn't have a good even spray to cover the area. It was more like a solid stream coming out. I bought this because I have two dogs and we all know they will puke and poo on carpeting when they don't feel well! I cleaned up the mess first, sprayed this product and let it sit for a few minutes. It foamed up nicely, and then when I scrubbed the stain it seemed to come up for the most part on the first try. I have a male Pug that has been very difficult to housebreak. He chose the back of my recliner to “mark” himself several times so I got this Nature’s Miracle Stain and Odor remover to try to clean it up and remove the odor. This stuff worked great! It’s a foam cleaner and very easy to use. Spot test an area prior to using to make sure it doesn’t affect the color. You shake the can, hold it upside down and apply the foam to the treatment area, making sure to cover it completely with the foam. Wait 10-15 minutes and then blot the foam up with a clean cloth. Let the area dry for 24 hours. For odor removal, wipe up the stain, apply the foam to saturate the area but don’t blot it up. Leave it on for 24 hours and the odor will fade. This advanced stain remover worked so well on the stain and urine odor. I wish I had found it sooner! I highly recommend this Natures Miracle Stain and Odor remover!Pdvdb70

My hopes were high, because our rescue dog had re-homing issues, defiant peeing on carpets being one. 47 lbs, no small pees either. The stain it left behind I had to get my carpet cleaner out to remove. I've been wanting to buy this, but wasn't sure it would really work. Plus, I have another enzyme cleaner that I absolutely love. However, the other cleaner doesn't 100% remove pet messes (greatly reduces the stains but completely remove). I have a chihuahua, who's done very well with potty training (actually surprisingly well lol) but there's one spot that she's had 2 accidents at. I'm thinking she can still smell that area, even though we can't.I ended up finding this at Target, and it was a compulsive buy. I was very excited to try it though. As soon as I returned home, I thoroughly saturated an old pet stain. I allowed it to soak overnight (I'd say 12 hours – older stains need to soak longer). In the morning, I used my carpet cleaner to soak up any major cleaner that was still there then placed a white towel on top, which I placed something heavy on top. After 5 minutes, I removed the towel checked the spot… I couldn't find it anymore with my black light, which I used to thoroughly check with no luck! I definitely recommend!! I paid $20 for this at target will be reordering it on Angry Orange to save a little money.I'd also light to point out the smell. I wasn't sure I'd love the orange scent. I've made enzyme cleaners from orange peels before the scent is less than favorable. However, this orange scent is different. It's a very realistic orange scent not that typical cleaner smell. It kind of reminds me of a Creamsicle. It's a 5 out of 5 for odor elimination – I didn't have that problem before, so I tried it in the bathroom after my younger son missed the toilet. Bought spray/light combo packThe light I’m not impressed with really at all. Light shows everything else other than dog or cat urine which is why I’m disappointed because i bought the light to show the dog urine and didn’t show it at all.The spray is a nice scent but people should be strongly advised to open up all windows in the home and turn on all fans before even spraying it once and to avoid being in the direct room or area where spray was used and keep pets away and blocked off from the area until the spray is dry because it is overbearingly strong while it’s wet and just using it in one spot in one room the scent quickly travels through to the rest of the house. It gets less intense as it dries and once it’s completely dry it’s almost odorless.Not a horrible smell but it’s way too strong there needs to be lots of fans and open windows throughout the entire home until it dries and direct area where it was used needs to be avoided until it dries.I wasnt sure at first if this stuff worked or just masked the smell when I first used it while it was still wet. The whole house quickly smelled like the citrus and didn’t couldn’t smell dog urine or any other odor or scent at all in rhe house and the citrus was all we were able to smell until it all dried completely. Today I barely smell citrus at all now thst it dried. I smelled the dog urine alittle back but barely smell it and urine smell is mostly gone now and extemely super faint as to before I used this spray and the dog urine order coming from the big area rug made my eye sinuses allergies and my entire respiratory tract and asthma go haywire the urine odor odor was so bad from that big rug going anywhere near that kitchen made me feel sick to my stomach. So the spray does work great but just didn’t completely get rid of the odor.? My daughter’s dog peed on the rug so much over the last several months and rug stunk so bad and not probably gonna take 2 separate spray attempts to actually be able to completely eliminate the nasty odor. Having longhaired cats, hairballs, and one that likes to go outside of the litter box when he's "mad" at me for being gone too long, I need a good enzyme cleaner for all the messes that are made! I took off one star because the scent is overwhelming for me, and I'm not a fan. I have a sensitive nose, and the smell of it just reminds me that this is a pet household where accidents happened. I moved into a house where 2 dogs tore up the house because of negligent pet owners. one dog was larger and was only let out once or twice a day on his leash to do his business. they gave away the smaller dog eventually because it was hyperactive and kept urinating on the carpet. they abandoned the house and their mess along with it… the slumlord vacuumed but I went over it with the Arm and Hammer animal odor eliminated stuff and my Dyson ball for animals vacuum, then let the house air out for a few hours. it perfumed the smell and still reeked of dogs. then I rented a Rug Doctor from Wal Mart and used the Rug Doctor shampoo for animals… I went over the carpet twice (spraying forward and back) and once again opened the windows and doors for a few hours. keeping in mind my 2 year-old son has had allergic conjunctivitis and a fever from going in and out of this disaster area for 2 days, I am enraged at this point because the overwhelming perfume smell was gone but the dog smell was still obviously there. I went to Petco last night to find ANYTHING with a hefty price tag on it that looked like it would work (without having to rent a carpet cleaner again) and bought this for $15.99 along with a lavender-scented Arm and Hammer odor-eliminating candle (which I haven't tested yet). I went over every inch of that God-forsaken carpet… today, the air in that placed is finally neutralized!!! there is a faint smell of the spray but 1.) I cant express how much I don't care, considering what I've been through, literally, already and 2.) that will be remedied with an air purifier and my candle (or any oil burner, diffuser, or potpourri- I never recommend air sprays). my only suggestion is that if you are under the same circumstances I was and plan on spraying as much as I did, wear a rubber glove because it leaks onto your fingers and the smell doesn't wash off. that said, I suggest renting a carpet cleaner using this brand's shampoo to save yourself time, effort, and frustration, if you ever find yourself in my situation… and apparently order it online since it's cheaper?Raynie

I have a cat that I love dearly but the poor thing does have a sensitive stomach sometimes. For this reason, I was excited to give this OxiClean Carpet & Area Rug Pet Stain & Odor Remover a try. Previously I used one of those bulky cleaning machines and it has been a pain to drag that out to do a quick spot cleaning. OxiClean is more effective because it easily lifts away the stain while leaving the carpet nicely scented. It wasn’t until a started using this product that I realized how dingy my carpets had become all over. The pet vomit areas cleaned with OxiClean have made my carpet look fresh and new. It is still several steps to cleaning (saturate stain, let sit, wipe away, let dry, then vacuum) so I wish the product was even more simplified (e.g. a spray it, blot it, and forget it). But overall it is a simpler and more effective process really and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I have been using Dawn liquid on hairballs from my two wonderful cats around here, but never could remove all residue. I have been dreading pulling out carpet shampoo machine. But I noticed this Oxy Clean for pet stains. I read a lot of mixed reviews, but I was desperate! I am not up to shampooing at this time. I have carpet through out the house except bathrooms and kitchen. Of course my girls never leave a mess on the tiles (easy to clean), they are so sweet. But they have left hairballs everywhere else. I have blue carpet, and one room gray carpet. All carpet low pile, some height, but sorta low. I chose the cats room first incase of bleaching out color. But to my relief no bleaching. Same on all the carpets. No bleaching out color! I started by vacuuming first to remove all cat hair, or what ever. Then I sprayed stained areas till pretty wet. Nice white foam covered areas. I used timer on stove, set it for 20 minutes, because these are old stains. I got out the soft cloths for removal. Timer went off in 20 minutes. Went back in room and I had my doubts because no foam seen except one. I wore kitchen gloves for cleaning to protect my hands. Well got down on knees with soft cloths. I wiped residue off with ease. One was stubborn. Had to work at removal. I even had to repeat the spray process on it. I even blotted areas to remove excess moisture. But my goodness! It looked great. I went back two days later to give it time to really dry, and vacuumed it. Ladies and Gentlemen! Beautiful! Beautiful! I can shampoo another day! Yippee! No stain can be seen anywhere I cleaned with Oxy Clean carpet and rug cleaner for pet stains. Best just under $5 I have ever spent. I noticed there is still quit a lot still in bottle. But I plan to purchase another one next time I am in my Neighborhood Walmart for the future. This is liquid gold to me. I am very happy, carpets look great, I highly recommend this product. Absolutely in looooove with this product. My Co-Op will not give my rug deposit back without the floors being 80% covered. I inherited 3 area rugs with the place but they smelled and looked not so fresh. I picked up same day delivery at Lowe's and used Resolve Pet Stains remover thinking the reviews were accurate and maybe it would smelly goods – Nope not at all. Used 3/4ths of the bottle and it just smelled like wet not so fresh. Fast forward to my Walmart delivery, sprayed it on – the scent is still absolute yummy smelly goods like Febreeze but with stain Oxy fighters. Now I definitely did not use this product as originally intended. I don't have a Hoover wet vacuum or carpet cleaning vacuum of any kind. I simply diluted to the strength recommended on the bottle of 3oz of cleaner per one gallon of water in a sprayer, pre-treated the area and let it set for about 10 minutes. Came back with a stiff brush and worked the cleaner into several spots that had been pretreated and blotted it up with a cotton towel. OMG I could not believe it. One year old stains that have had nearly every carpet cleaning product applied to it over the year came up with ease. I was truly amazed. I did not take a before picture as I was not expecting this product to work at all. I am just shocked out how amazing of a job this product did on those pet stains. We have 2 indoor cats that from time spit up hairballs, etc. that leaves stains from time to time. From using this product, I can say that is does work to remove dirt and stains from carpets. I did not have parts of the carpet that particular smells bad (from urine or anything) to say for sure that us removes all the smell, but overall the product smelled very good and left the carpet smelling good afterwards. When using the carpet cleaner, I previously carpet cleaned the house about a month ago and when using this new product, it removed even more dirt from the carpet. Based on what I've seen when using it, I would recommend this product. I wanted to make sure I gave it a chance before I wrote my review. My cat peed on my bed and it got thru my blanket, sheet, mattress topper and it got on my mattress. I washed everything else a few times and that took care of the smell on all of that but I couldn’t get the pee away from my mattress. It smelled at night and I couldn’t fall asleep and I tried every pet stain remover we had in our house. So I decided no harm in trying this… I used it for two days. Sprayed really close to the mattress and let it soak. Then I took a damp rag and scrubbed and did that about twice. The second day I just sprayed it and then an hour later I blow dried it to help it dry faster. It worked! I can’t smell the pee anymore (thank god) and I can finally sleep! Well, it works! Usually I use natures miracle but it wasn’t actually cleaning my carpet that well and the smell was just insane after a while. A couple of minutes after scrubbing this into my carpet in some spots where my dog had marked hard, I didn’t think it was going to work and I could still smell the urine but after an hour of letting it air out, the stains were gone except one bad one (I’d expect that and will just try using this again in that spot more thoroughly as it was lightened back up by 50%) and the smell was gone and everything smelled good again. With the weather being so hot lately, we have been having more playdates inside. But sometimes that may lead to accidents from other furiends, which can be a problem when we have mostly carpet inside our home. With our most recent playdate, one dog friend had an accident. I foster dogs for a rescue, as well as dogsit. With new dogs, there's always a small period of teaching them the house rules, and also establishing a normal potty routine. Also, some dogs are more prone to marking than others. Needless to say, accidents have happened at my place from time to time. What's frustrating is despite using an enzyme cleaner, you still get that one dog that can still smell something, so they decide to pee on that spot. This product has been helpful in deterring. The scent it nice and my cat doesn't seem to like it so it keeps him from returning to the scene of the crime for another go around. I purchased the spray bottle to try it out before committing a larger sum of money for a big bottle. However, the spray bottle still is a stiff price to pay. I wish I could give this product 10 stars. It is an absolute miracle worker. This is the dog formula, and it comes in a variety of scents, but the scent doesn't matter. This will take a giant dog urine stain out of white fabric right in front of your eyes. If you get a black light and find the spots around your house, you can use this and see that it takes everything away. There is also a different formula for cats since their urine is different. I've had pets my entire live and always battled the problem with spraying, marking, and/or poor potty habits, and these products have completely changed my life.frances.m

I bought this because my dog peed on the bath rug twice when I was away from home too long. After using the spray, she began to use the rug a little more often. I moved and threw out the old rug without thinking too much about it. After a couple times of being gone too long, she peed in a couple spots around the new house so I tried the spray again. Now she pees in the house 1-3 times per week, where I've sprayed. So, at the very least, the spray doesn't work. Now that I've read reviews on other NM products, I wonder if she wants to pee because of the spray. Save yourself the frustration and just don't buy it.Jess J88

Bought a house and while having new floors installed they found a lot of spots where dogs had lifted their leg peed all over the walls! Gross! The floor installers acted as if that's a normal thing. I've never had a dog hike their leg inside my house and pee! Anyways, I had to quickly research what was best and then what was available close by. Nature's miracle was within the top five. During the initial spraying time it smelled great. It was the original scent. I soaked all of the areas and then let it dry overnight. I then soaked the areas more in the morning because the smell came back. Eventually within approximately 36 hours the smell was gone by only approx 60%. The solution was to put in the floor and seal the smell in. Luckily that worked but not truly a fix. If I had more time I probably would have gone to another store further away and chosen a different product but due to the installers having a short time frame I could not. I would not recommend on deep set in stains odors.

I've always been super skeptical about 'specialized' cleaning products, why can't we use basic carpet cleaner and call it a day? I really like this a lot. I have 1 Rabbit and 2 Cats and while they are all litter box trained, my rabbit will occasionally go number 1 outside his litter box because he stands on the edge and he thinks he's going in the box but actually just missed it. I use it once immediately on the accident and then blot it up without waiting the 15 mins. This gets rid of the smell and generally cleans the area. after a few hours when it is dried, the spot usually dries dark and obvious, this is when I soak the area and leave it to sit for 15 mins. After blotting it up the second time it really truly gets rid of the stain entirely. I'd say for dried stains, you really have to soak and let it sit for the full 15 to really see the effectsJ Donut
