I had been using a couple similar products (same ingredients) with my dog since he started having gastrointestinal issues a few months ago. He's been to the vet and placed on several medications, probiotics, stool-hardening "pastes", etc., all with limited to no success. I've been having to home cook his meals since this all started, and have only been able to mix in small amounts of GI commercial/prescription food before the GI issues return. For a month, I had been giving him Kaolin/Pectin with 1 of 3 meals a day, and this seemed to help his stools stay firm. Except for the days I didn't add it to a meal, there was no diarrhea. Anyway, the other products were both out-of-stock, so I figured I would try this. The ingredients were the same, so I was hoping for the same effect. Unfortunately, there were ZERO reviews posted, so I had limited information to go by. My dog has had diarrhea every single day since he started receiving this, even after adding it to all 3 meals a day! I stopped adding in commercial food thinking it would help. It did not. I've noticed this formula isn't quite as thick as the other formulas, so maybe the ratio of ingredients is slightly different? Regardless, I would not purchase this again, nor would I recommend it. My cat was a rescue and will eat nonstop if allowed. When we feed her, she eats aggressively and then throws up about 10-20 minutes later. Did my research and this seemed to be best way to go. Off I went, and after 2 days, she is fine. She wasnt having often but it was definitely diarrhea and when it was time she was off and running all over the yard. and it seemed she kept thinking she had to go but it was done. Well and Good Anti-Diarrhea Liquid did work. Both of my dogs had diarrhea so I started them on boiled chicken, rice and pumpkin with 1/3 cup a water the first three days. After three days their poop was firmer but still soft so I purchased this at Petco. They would not take this straight they did not like it so I mixed one teaspoon per dog bowl added two tablespoons of pumpkin then 1/3 cup of warm water stirred it up and they both licked the bowls clean. The first dose was given to them at 4 PM and their poop was a lot firmer by 11 Pm that evening. The next morning at 6 am I gave them the second dose and by 12 noon everything was back to normal in the one dog. I will give the third dose tonight at 6 P. I will say for me it really worked! Mixing with water and pumpkin allows the dogs to get more water in their system. HIGHLY recommend! These past few days have been a nightmare with my 12-year old Maltese having severe diarrhea. It's never been this bad before. It started randomly 2 days ago. That morning she had normal poops but randomly in the afternoon she started having diarrhea. My family and I live in a small Northern California town, and we were just hit with a devastating fire that's decimated over 100,000 acres, and is still burning. Hello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. I have two dogs–one large pup that has occasional g/I issues, and a small older dog that has chronic pancreatitis. I worry more about my little one Jaqcamo, because when he gets an acute attack of pancreatitis, he becomes extremely ill and usually requires hospitalization. At the first sign of any stomach distress, I give him the recommended dosage for his size. By the next day, he is back to feeling well!! Both of my dogs love the paste, so I have no problems giving it to them–when I pull it out, they think it's treat time. One of our rescue cats had suffered for at least 5 years with a severe case of over-grooming and self-mutilating. His first owner gave up on him when the vets couldn't offer anything that worked for long and recomended an e-collar and cortisone treatments to try breaking the cycle , but the cat always got worse again. The affected area was a patch of skin about 6 inches by 3 inches which was often raw and bleeding. When we adopted him, we tried many things such as change of diet, nutritional supplements, and a variety of safe natural topical treatments. He spent 3 years wearing cotton shirt-jacket ( of t-shirt material ) , night and day, to reduce the amount of harm he could do to himself, as a more humane choice than the e-collar which he hated… He still suffered the uncontrollable urge to lick and bite at his shoulder/side & his shirts had to be replaced weekly as he tore them up. I decided to order the Obsession remedy, after reading about it on-site here. I didn't truly hold great faith that anything would turn things around after so long – but I felt comfortable that the remedy was safe to use , and the simplest method was to put it into the water bowl which all of our animals drink from. It seemed like a last resort to explore. About 3 weeks later, I knew there was an improvement in his skin / fur and I decided to take a chance and remove his shirt jacket for awhile to see how he acted. On all other past occasions, sometimes within minutes, he'd be licking,chewing and have his skin raw again. However, this time he didn't react in that manner and seemd calm and oblivious to the opportunity. I found and purchased this product through my holistic health practitioner. I recently adopted a 5-month-old Mastiff puppy that had been transported from another rescue. She's had most vaccinations and was also spayed prior to transport. She had hookworm (common), some thin hair patches and her skin smelled yeasty. Her second day with me, she developed a urinary infection which my vet treated with Clavamox and dewormer. She also would try to eat pebbles. She then picked up Giardia (oh joy) and treated with more dewormer. Her suture sight from the spay abscessed from infection and she began scratching and chewing herself more and her skin developed raised bumps like bug bites. My vet prescribed another oral antibiotic as well as an abx injection. He also prescribed prednisone to help the itching and KetoHex shampoo but warned that we'd need to consider mange if the problem persisted. She's responded well to the meds although I've been cringing at all of the toxins she's been exposed to and the abx stripping away her gut flora. I'm hoping this will help to combat some of the intestinal damage she's received and restore some good flora. I've used similar style dosing syringes and I like the ease of use and that the product is already in the syringe. I did have trouble initially with the plunger. The product was very thick (dense) near the opening. Since my pup liked the taste I just plunged the rest of her dose into her empty food bowl and she licked it right up. The product definitely was more liquidy (less dense) further back from the opening. I'm not sure if this presents a problem for equal distribution of ingredients. I'm crossing my fingers that this product will help quickly. I'm also starting Omega-3 oil for pets from Nordic Naturals and will try the Vetri-Science Vetri Repel Spray in the hope that the castor oil and lemongrass oil will help conquer the Demodex mites as well as the fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes that the label states.Rescue mom

I adopted a dog 2 years ago and she is great. I noticed right off the bat though that my dog's bladder would leak when she got excited which I know can be common so I didn't think too much of it at first. My 10 year old cat was literally dying because she could not eat and was getting too weak to drink. She was getting palliative, hospice type care but I didn't want her to starve to death. I searched for high calorie nutritionally sound feline supplemental food that required the smallest amount to compensate for her lack of eating. I came across this and decided to give it a try. My cat was so sick I had to use a feeding syringe to get it into her but she tolerated it and sure enough it was enough to get her to gain weight and strength and start eating again best she can. I take care of feral cats and I Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) them in order to decrease the cat population in my neighborhood. When spaying a female cat, you have to keep them for at least 4 days for them to appropriately heal and have the affects of the anesthesia to wear off completely. One of the ferals that I trapped was a skin-and-bones female that was really too young to be having the kitten she was towing around with her. So I trapped her and her only surviving female kitten, had them both fixed and proceeded to "Fatten them up" and have them heal completely. "Under the Weather" Ready-Cal was the perfect supplement to give to both mamma and baby while they healed. I kept mamma in my care for one month because she was so pathetically thin. In that month, Mamma's coat changed from a rusty brown to a glossy black. She gained weight to where you could no longer feel her ribs poking through her fur. She did not like indoor life AT ALL and could not be socialized or handled, so she was released back to her outdoor home. I continue to feed Mamma every day, even built her an outdoor heated shelter in my fenced in yard. She is very content now. I just need to give a major shout out to this amazing company! My Tika girl was having chronic diarrhea. She is now 10 years old and I was convinced there was something majorly wrong with her. The vet couldn’t figure anything out and we were dealing with issues for months! Being in a new house with a beloved dog having accidents everywhere was so hard to deal with. Hi! A miracle has occurred in Forest Hills! I took Baci on a long walk in the hope of increasing her appetite and then fed her Canine Health. I used raw lamb as a protein and then added a couple of the freeze dried tripe pieces, Runs Be Done and a little liverwurst. Well to my amazement she actually ate the food! I am a little concerned about the liverwurst because of the toxins in the liver, but it was only about an ounce. Hopefully, she will continue to eat the food as I believe this will help what I believe to be IBS.

I was recommended Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora by my vet and have had great results. Since then I grab it at Petsmart when needed. My pitbull has a very sensitive stomach and often has issues. Since using FortiFlora, most of his issues have been resolved. He loves the flavor. I believe it's beef and it's so easy to give it to him. You just sprinkle the packet on his food once a day and that's all. I've tried treat probiotics in the past and he wasn't a fan of the taste of them. Also I had to make sure he chewed them completely for them to work. The powder just makes it so much easier. It is pricey but well worth it. First an introduction to Barnie the bichon… He’s 13 years young with one, heart failure and osteoarthritis. As you can imagine, this makes him not the most active pup in the park as he gets tired pretty quickly even though he loves his walks. Bert is old and has a few gas issues. Well a lot of gas issues really and sharing a room with him is sometimes not so much fun. The Purina Pro Plan Forti Flora sachets have made a huge difference to his gut issues and his enjoyment of eating. There is now much less tummy grumbling and much less gas. The sachets are so easy to mix with his normal wet food and Bert enjoys eating it. He seems to have got his appetite back since adding the sachets to his food, and is enjoying the taste, and I also think the good smell is helping too. I have been giving it once a week. I would like to see some more instructions in the pack but other than that we are very happy. It’s so good to see our old boy with a better appetite and it’s made it more of a pleasure to cuddle up to him and the air is generally much better! I give my dog a few spoonfuls of canned pumpkin from the grocery store with every meal, so I bought these to be a more convenient travel option, but honestly I’m pretty disappointed. My only real complaint is how incredibly watered down these little packets are!
