I took it from my cats. One especially has an issue with the eyes. The orange tabby has a wet eye when he eats. He is very picky so I try to hide the powder in his wet food. I had been using a couple similar products (same ingredients) with my dog since he started having gastrointestinal issues a few months ago. He's been to the vet and placed on several medications, probiotics, stool-hardening "pastes", etc., all with limited to no success. I've been having to home cook his meals since this all started, and have only been able to mix in small amounts of GI commercial/prescription food before the GI issues return. For a month, I had been giving him Kaolin/Pectin with 1 of 3 meals a day, and this seemed to help his stools stay firm. Except for the days I didn't add it to a meal, there was no diarrhea. Anyway, the other products were both out-of-stock, so I figured I would try this. The ingredients were the same, so I was hoping for the same effect. Unfortunately, there were ZERO reviews posted, so I had limited information to go by. My dog has had diarrhea every single day since he started receiving this, even after adding it to all 3 meals a day! I stopped adding in commercial food thinking it would help. It did not. I've noticed this formula isn't quite as thick as the other formulas, so maybe the ratio of ingredients is slightly different? Regardless, I would not purchase this again, nor would I recommend it. And now this product is "out-of-stock", so I wouldn't be surprised if others complained or had issues at well. I wish the product that worked better (and is cheaper) were available again.amt82

My dogs are tiny and one has very little teeth (rescue who lost most of them by age 4). They seem to like the taste of the treats, but they are not soft. I half one of them widthwise between the 2. But, I have to cut that in half lengthwise because, otherwise, they can't chew them. The bag has only been open 3 days (and I am careful to fully seal the bag… even push out air before closing) and yet they are drying up. I have given them half a treat each for the last 3 days. I did a lot of research on something natural I could give my dog for his tummy troubles. He was having some digestive issues that I could not manage to resolve even with strict, bland diet. First, to clarify I purchased the pumpkin/ ginger Tummy chews ( not joint support) for my older dog with reflux. I wanted to to taper her down from pepcid and wanted a product that contained some ginger that was not too overpowering so she might accept ( she can be picky). She also has problems chewing. She's 25#, I cut one chew into quarters and give her one with each meal. I have elimated one pepcid dose and so far so good! She's still on a bedtime pepcid along with slippery elm ( her reflux worse at nite,. commonly the case) in time I may try to elim..the pm pepcid, but for now I'm happy she seems to be doing well with minimal reflux..The chews are not real soft but when they are cut they are not difficult for her to chew, they sort of crumble easily and I either toss in her food or offer as a treat. My family and I live in a small Northern California town, and we were just hit with a devastating fire that's decimated over 100,000 acres, and is still burning. We we're lucky and still have our home. But the night the fire started I noticed a sudden change in our beloved cat. She became extremely lethargic. My baby Jingle is 16 and was starting to throw up nearly every day. I def know what ingredients she cannot handle in her moist food so I knew something was wrong. After reading the reviews here, I gave her these drops either directly in mouth or on her moist food for two weeks as well as the probiotic chews. She can go weeks now without throwing up! About 6 months ago, my cat, who has feline leukemia, stopped eating, was constantly vomiting, sleeping, and cringed whenever I touched her. I bought this for my dog’s (14 year old Shar Pei) keratin buildup on his nose and paws. It dissolved the stuff great and I was able to wipe off the stuff on his paws after one application. That was really impressive. My dog has fairly mild Hyperkeratosis but his nose gets a fairly thick layer of buildup, and this product allows you to remove it fairly easily after a few applications over a couple days and a cooperative pooch. I was really impressed with how well it worked. I use it now preventatively which prevents bad buildup on his nose and paws, so all in all I’m certainly a big fan. I recommend at least the 2oz can if you think you’ll use it on the paws. The 2 oz can generally lasts me a couple months even with multiple applications per day. Zesty Paws Probitoic Bites are cute: Heart-shaped treat, in a can't-miss sturdy orange container. There's also a generous number of bites packed into the packaging, sure to last a while for the average household. Each heart-shaped treat is soft but sturdy; its form is well retained which makes for easy splitting. I started my dog on the half treat dose for a week or so. My dog loves pumpkin flavor and food in general, so there were no issues with consumption. This particular formulation is labeled Gut Health which is great, but unfortunately, my dog's gut is extremely sensitive and every morning he vomited. I can't say for certain if Zesty Paws Probiotic Bites was the cause, but I took him off of the probiotic after a week and the vomiting ceased. Although I cannot continue using this probiotic, I would still recommend to friends and family with pets who have less sensitive stomachs. I purchased these for my Kimi and Kenny in training. they have sensitive stomach and eats grain free high-quality food. they having some issues with having soft stools which made it difficult to clean up behind her. I got these hoping that they would firm them stool up a little. They quickly did and now it is much easier to clean up when they potties.
