As I previously stated I bought two of these harnesses in two different sizes. A small and a medium as I was not sure which would work. The small is a great fit for my 13 lb Shih Tzu. But this is summer and she is shaved down. I am going to use the medium size for winter to go over her sweaters and coats. Bought this harness when I (and family) adopted our new retriever mix and were required to get a martingale harness as part of the adoption agreement. We've had him for just over two weeks now and I’m disappointed to discover that the straps of the harness we bought then have frayed dramatically at several points in such a short time; including one point at which a key strap is holding on by just a few threads! It seemed to fit relatively well during the time we have been using it. I’ve seen discussion that this kind of thing starts with a nick in the side of the strap, that must somehow have been caused by the dog chewing and/or scratching. As part of our work to train our dog, we’ve been very aware of his overall behavior, especially when going for walks. He’s not a puppy and never actively scratched or bit at the harness to our knowledge but, of course, it’s not impossible that this might have happened once or twice. Our female boxer, size Lg was unable to use the harness as her vulva was totally covered by the webbing that adds support to the harness. I spoke with company, no other option in size was offered. This is a high quality harness, I was sad we couldn’t use it. I would encourage them to copy the support harness that is in their wheel chair as it easily allows her to urinate and defecate with ease. The wheelchair is also high quality and has been a Godsend. Harness kept sliding off the back of my dog; after 2 failed attempts I am going to return this item. The leg circumference was measured as required at 11-12 inches, but it still slips off my dog as the bridle/harness part is too small due to the girth size around the lower section of my dog (Puggle) he has a belly @40lbs. There were no recommendations for dogs that have larger girth size/lower mid section that advised to order larger size. Also he is not only thicker in his back section, but short in rear length as well, so in that situation bridle/harness is too long for him to comfortably expel his stool without it getting caught in the harness – really bad fit all around. One size does not fit all 🙁 even with leg girth measurements – need hip circumference and torso length as well. I will return this item and send photo of ill fit on a separate email and in return envelope.Debra

It looks like a great dog halter. This is the third halter I ve gotten for my cairn terrier mix. This one looks like he might not be able to escape. Unfortunately, it is way too small for my dog. There is only one size smaller, and I expect it is too big, also. The receipt was illegible, and I have no idea how to send the halter back. I plan to donate it to the animal shelter. I am still looking for a halter he won t escape from.
Wrong size. Trying to exchange it. The sizes are not correct. They fit large.
The harness isn't working for me but I can't send it back. My dog is a male and the back strap rides directly over his, uh, spout. He soaked it pretty good the first time out so we have to keep it. But he didn't like it either – it is pretty heavy and made him overheat. Might work for winter but I have to figure out how to modify the back strap so he can pee free.

Great sling lifter! Needed to lift elderly dog up and down a few stairs to go in and out to potty. He was having much trouble falling as he went down, but not anymore! This Voyager dog harness is great for my pup! I am training him to walk on a leash and this is so helpful so that I don’t pull on his neck. I got the size XXS for him as he was 4 lbs. He is now almost 8 lbs and it still fits him but I am going to buy another one in a bigger size so I can keep it until he is fully grown. They are adjustable so I will probably get size Small. I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one. The ease of the new one does not compare but the duribilty was just not there for us on this particular harness. If you dont have a chewer it is highly recommendedMooncat84

Bought this harness when I (and family) adopted our new retriever mix and were required to get a martingale harness as part of the adoption agreement. We've had him for just over two weeks now and I’m disappointed to discover that the straps of the harness we bought then have frayed dramatically at several points in such a short time; including one point at which a key strap is holding on by just a few threads! It seemed to fit relatively well during the time we have been using it. I’ve seen discussion that this kind of thing starts with a nick in the side of the strap, that must somehow have been caused by the dog chewing and/or scratching. As part of our work to train our dog, we’ve been very aware of his overall behavior, especially when going for walks. He’s not a puppy and never actively scratched or bit at the harness to our knowledge but, of course, it’s not impossible that this might have happened once or twice. I do question, however, the value of a dog harness that is unable to stand up to that kind of treatment.RalphtheDog
My Luna is a 2yr old black lab-pitbull mix. She's husky, friendly, and a puller when she's on a lead. Having a harness that helps with the pulling is a blessing. She loves going on walks but will drag you down the sidewalk. Since using the easy walk harness regularly, she has much better behaved. The easy walk harness goes around her chest and back and has a leash attachment on the front.
