Every baby boomer remembers the Shari Lewis show with Lamb Chop and the Sock Monkey. I have a dear, dear friend whose husband was dying of cancer. Someone sent him Lamb Chop, and I sent him the Sock Monkey. She spent about one year of her life living in St. Louis, MO to be near him. He died 5 years ago and she married a childhood friend. I wish them all the happiness in the world. FYI- she has a memorial cabinet for her late husband which includes Lamb Chop and the Sock Monkey. AmenGail
All size (x-small, medium, large) lamb chop dog toys are excellent! I've bought many over the years. This one was purchased for a 3 lb puppy and it's his favorite toy. Petco had the most competitive price and the delivery was free. Petco is one of my favorite places to shop.Susan SP
Adorable and ENORMOUS!! I didn't really look at the size very carefully when I was ordering this, though. Our German Shepherd absolutely LOVES these Lamb Chop toys and he has gone through about a dozen of them in the smaller versions (medium sized and small sized.) He spends a day or two carrying each of them around (when they're new) and squeaking them like crazy while they're still intact, and then moves on to tearing them apart to get to the squeaker. He then plays fetch (all by himself) with the squeaker – tossing it up in the air, etc. He also likes to cart around the "carcass" and play with that until we end up finding various Lamb Chop "parts" (head, leg, etc.) all over the house. We just throw them away quietly, little by little/piece by piece. This is a great dog toy, but if your dog likes to rip the stuffing out of them, then be prepared on this version as there is a LOT of it!! 🙂 I would buy it again in a heartbeat but my husband has had enough stuffing clean-up to last him a while… Still – this one is HIGH quality and we give our highest recommendations!Shadowcat

From the moment Bailey got Lamb Chop, it was love. He's the kind of dog who needs to bring you a "gift" to say hello and who likes to walk around with something in his mouth just because. Cute toy but NOT durable. It was quite smaller than I expected, and while our Staffordshire Terrier absolutely loved it, she also absolutely gutted it within a half hour. First she pulled the head off, then pulled out the stuffing, and then the squeaker, which I was afraid she would accidently swallow. I keep buying other toys for the rescue dog weve had for 6 months, but she only likes the little lambies! She got really good at disemboweling them in record time but was then so sad that they didnt squeak anymore, although she still plays with the carcass! My 10lb toy poodle loves this toy sooo much! He was pretty gentle with it the first day then ate the ears and I had to take it away when he started chewing the paws. This is my dog's favorite toy but it shreds SO easily and the fabric that surrounds the squeakers in the red paws can be chewed quite easily. I had to constantly supervise him playing with this toy and once he got through the paws I had to manually take out the squeakers. If you dog is a chewer, do not recommend this toy. The plastic squeaker could be chewed and swallowed, causing a potentially fatal accident or an expensive emergency vet bill. This toy gets 2 stars because the squeak sound is really enticing to my dog and he loves the fluffiness but BE WARNED this is a choking hazard.dogmom2020

I snagged you on impulse to give to the bestest boy because…it was a day that ended in a ‘y’. You were instantly LOVED. Your squeaks of delight…your sock faced cuteness…Gizmo May have loved you ‘too hard’ I thought I did a good job sewing your spine back up but, regretfully, I failed at the tongue reattachment. I've bought many of these. I give as gifts to kids & pets. Their high quality puts them on a girl's pillow as a huggable fluffy critter! I love them as gifts. A Russian Blue kitty my granddaughter has loves it tho I meant it to be used as a guest room pillow decoration. She sent me a vid of the cat playing w/ it, but, I don't know how to do that.
