My girl has had bad allergies since I moved to Texas. Mainly skin allergies. She’s about 80lbs and she’s 12. She was taking apaquil daily and it worked however it’s expensive but not only that taking long term allergy meds can actually put her at higher risk of yeast or other fungal skin infections. My little chihuahua will not eat her Pet Fresh food with this ground up in the food. I cut the tiny pink pill in half and crushed it into her bowl. She will smell her food and walk away, so this has not worked for her itchy problem. The pills might work for other breeds, but not for me. My little chihuahua has itched for years. She had her belly red from itching and it was black at times. The vet said to switch food- didn’t help. I received these soft chews to try and share my experience-and honestly, after day one or two I didn't know how I would review because my dog started to smell awful and seemed to be itching more, (when he gets dry skin his oils over produce and he smells AWFUL) but then after about a week of regular use, the smell went away and he stopped itching and the redness in his skin also went away. I haven't seen him itch in about a week and a half and I am incredibly happy about that! I have 3 large dogs ranging in age from 1 to 10 years. The oldest one has some allery issues with itchy skin, and the youngest has digestive issues. Since gut health and immunity is important, and can decline with age, I think a prebiotic/probiotic supplement for dogs is a good idea. I like that it has a prebiotic and probiotic. This type of supplement is important for fighting inflammation and allergies, which is why I take one myself. I have been giving the Zesty Paws Aller-Immune Mini Bites to my 3-year old Boston Terrier. She historically has had some kind of skin allergies bothering her for her whole life. Purchased this product with not much confidence made a huge difference in my GSD allergies. Sprayed on the area he was chewing when he would begin chewing. It gave him instant relief, he now comes to get the area sprayed when he chews. I am going to use the same product which is an ointment to see how well it does. Rosebud was biting at her nether parts due to itching. This applied liberally relieved her jitters. I got this because we had two other dogs several years ago who were both affected by itching in different doggy-parts (stomach, behind, etc) and I used a similar product for them which also worked well. I was a little concerned with just how many products they carry all looking the same but yet with a different label. So I contacted the company asking them if they did a third-party independent lab analysis on all of their products and I was happy to hear that they said they did. But then when I asked if those results were available to the public they told me no. Why would you do a third-party independent lab on your products and then not allow the public to request a copy or post them. As with human supplements, animal supplements are not regulated like human products. These companies can get away with putting just about anything they want in a jar and slapping a label on it telling you whatever they want is in the product. I ordered 3 jars of the Allergy Immunity chews and 1 jar of the Allergy Skin Health. dog would not eat the chews. They smell awful and they must have tasted exactly like they smelled because he spit them out every time I gave him a chew. I even tried masking the taste with peanut butter, but he licked the peanut butter off and left the chew. The only way I could get him to eat the chew is if I wrapped it in chicken, and sometimes he would eat the chicken and still spit out the chew. It was so frustrating. I emailed the company and told them the situation. They told me to send back the 2 unopened jars and to donate the open jars or throw them away. After sending back the unopened jars they said that they are only replacing 2 jars even though I purchased 4.
This ordeal has been frustrating.

I purchased some peanut butter aller-immune bites to try to help our French Bulldog from licking/biting her paws. She was not a fan of the peanut butter ones at all. I tried smearing peanut butter on it and everything, but she would not eat them. So, I emailed Zesty Paws and they emailed me back very quickly. They offered a refund or a different flavor. I opted for the lamb flavor because I really wanted to try to get her to stop excessively licking her paws. She LOVES the lamb flavor ones!! She takes them like any other treat! My 4 year old golden retriever has been suffering since she was a tiny puppy. She came inside one day after playing in the back yard and her left eye was huge. My Doberman, Zara, suffers from food allergies. Her coat was dull and flaky. She broke out in these pimple-like bumps all over her back. My male cockapoo had started scratching and biting at his skin about a few months ago , it got so bad to the point where he wouldn’t stop until his skin was completely raw and bleeding and we had to keep a cone on him at all times. We tried using anti itch shampoo, hot spot treatments and none of those had worked so we decided to give this one last thing a chance before taking him to the vet as those treatments can be very expensive and we wanted to see if it was something that we could have treated ourselves first.
